식물성 오일 기반 Poly(β-amino ester) 합성 (Synthesis of Vegetable Oil-Based Poly(β-amino ester))

  • 최근 저가의 풍부한 재생 가능 천연자원인 식물성 오일에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 식물성 오일은 친환경적인 생분해성 고분자 물질들의 원료로서 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 acrylated epoxidized soybean oil (AESO)과 2-aminoethanol의 중합 반응에 의해 poly(${\beta}$-amino ester)를 합성하였다. AESO와 2-aminoethanol의 몰비를 변화시켜 다양한 비율의 고분자 필름을 제조하였다. FT-IR을 이용하여 poly(${\beta}$-amino ester) 내의 C-N 결합의 생성을 확인하였으며, 98% 이상의 겔함량으로부터 가교 고분자 네트웍이 합성되었음을 확인하였다. 고분자 필름의 인장강도와 신장률은 각각 0.3~1.3 MPa, 32~55%였다. 고분자 필름은 lipase 효소가 첨가된 pH 7.2 완충용액에서 35일 경과 후 2~7%의 질량감소를 보였다.

X-ray crystal structure of two-dimensional bimetallic host clathrate with 2-aminoethanol, [Cd{NH2CH2CH2OH}2Ni(CN)4]·3C6H5NH2·H2O

  • A novel two-dimensional cadmium(II)-nickel(II) bimetallic host clathrate, $[Cd{NH_2CH_2CH_2OH}_2Ni(CN)_4]{\cdot}3C_6H_5NH_2{\cdot}H_2O$, 1, has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray single crystallographic method. The clathrate 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group $P2_1/c$ with a = 14.370(3), b = 7.728(1), c = 28.172(4) ${\AA}$, ${\beta}=97.58(1)^{\circ}$, V = 3101.1(9) ${\AA}^3$, Z = 4. The host framework of the clathrate 1 is built of the cyanide bridges between octahedral Cd(II) atom and square planar Ni(II) atom. The octahedral Cd atoms ligated by two 2-aminoethanol molecules and four cyanide ligands bridged with square planar Ni atoms. The Ni atoms bridges to four Cd atoms via cyanides is made up of puckered quadrangles of composition $\{CdNi(CN)_2\}_2$, all edges are shared. This cyanide bridges form an infinite two-dimensional host networks stacking along b axis. 2-Aminoethanol ligands bond to Cd atom through N atom as a monodentate ligand in the axial position and four cyanides take an equatorial plane with all in trans-configurations. The aniline guest molecules and water molecules are located in between the host layer sheets, respectively.

  • Tissue Factor (TF), a principal initiator of the veterbrate coagulation cascade is known to to induced in endothelial cells, monocytes and macrophages by inflammetry stimuli and in many pathological conditions. Through our synthetic efforts to develop new TF inhibitors, seventeen N-C-18 alkenyl group (9-octadecenyl or 9,12-octadecadienyl) substituted aminoalcohols (2-aminoethanol, 1-amino-2-propanol and 3-amino-1-propanol) were prepared and their in vitro TF inhibitory activities were examined.   • Trichloromethylphosphonyl dichloride was prepared by the aluminium chloride method. We synthesized several heterocyclic compounds containing phosphorus atom by the stepwise esterification of trichloromethylphosphonyl dichloride with ethylene glycol, 2-mercaptoethanol, ethylene diamine, and 2-aminoethanol and the resulting heterocyclic compounds are 2-trichloromethyl-1,3,2-dioxa-, 2-trichloromethyl-1,3,2-thioxa-, 2-trichloromethyl-1,3,2-diaza-, 2-trichloromethyl-1,3,2-diaza-, and 2-trichloromethyl-1,3,2-oxazaphospholane-2-oxide. The best results were obtained in the solution of triethylamine as hydrochloric acid trapping agent. The structure of five-membered heterocyclic phosphonates were characterized by their IR, NMR, and elementary analysis and the mass spectra of the compounds were analyzed.

  • NENA(nitratoethyl nitramine) compounds, especially BuNENA(N-butyl-N-(2-nitratoethyl)-nitramine), are of high interest to both rocket propulsion and military high explosives because of low sensitivity to many forms of stimuli, although they are less energetic than conventional nitrate ester plasticizers. One of advantages in using NENAs is that they provide higher impulse at any given flame temperature than conventional propellants do. BuNENA has better thermochemical characteristics(low melting point and low glass transition temperature), therefore has less tendency to crystallize out of matrices. BuNENA was successfully synthesized in a high yield by reaction of n-butyl aminoethanol and 98% nitric acid followed by dehydrogenation of salt mixture by $Ac_2$/$ZnCl_2$.

  • The reactions of ketene dithioacetals with ethane-1,2-diamine, propane-1,3-diamine, 2-aminoethanol, 3-aminopropanol, and 2-aminoethanethiol in ordinary water in the absence of any acid/base catalyst afforded the heterocyclic ketene N,N-, N,O- and N,S-acetals in good yields.

  • Highly oriented ZnO thin films were fabricated by dip-coating technique using zinc acetate 2-methoxyethanol 2-aminoethanol solution as starting materials, and effects of substrates on the film's orientation were investigated. Product films were obtained by prefiring at 300, 400, 500 and 550℃ for 10 min, followed by final heat-treatment at the same temperatures as prefiring for 1h. c-axis oriented films on glass substrates were prepared by heat treatment of prefiring films at 300-550℃, while films on alumina showed polycrystalline structure. Films with c-axis orientation exhibited lower specific resistivities than those of polycrystalline films with partial crack and pore.

노르디테르펜 알칼로이드류의 산화적 특성 (Oxidative Characteristics of Norditerpene Alkaloids)

  • Norditerpene alkaloids are the main toxic principles of traditional oriental herb 'chuawu(bu-shi),' which have been used in Chinese materia medica mainly for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. They are biosynthesized via cyclization of geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate, incoration of 2-aminoethanol and decarboxylation not via amino acid pathway, and the structural characteristics have tempted several oxidative reactions. In this study various norditerpene alkaloids were subjected to react active manganese dioxide and oxoammonium salt as oxidants. The oxidation was proceeded as dealkylation with aconitine type and dehydrogenations with lycoctonin and heteratisine type.

Copper(II) Coordination Polymers Assembled from 2-[(Pyridin-3-ylmethyl)amino]ethanol: Structure and Magnetism

  • The one-dimensional coordination polymers, $[Cu^{II}(L)(NO_3)_2]_n$ (1) and {$[Cu^{II}(L)(NO_3)]{\cdot}2H_2O}_{2n} (2), were synthesized from $Cu(NO_3)_2{\cdot}3H_2O$ and 2-[(pyridin-3-ylmethyl)amino]ethanol (L, PMAE) in methanol by controlling the molar ratio of copper(II) salt. Copper(II) ion in 1 has one pyridine group of PMAE whose an aminoethanol group coordinates adjacent copper(II) ion. As the pyridine group is bonded to neighboring copper(II) ion, 1 becomes a one-dimensional chain. Contrary to 1, the structure of 2 shows that the oxygen atom of ethoxide group is bridged between two copper(II) ions, which forms a dinuclear complex. Additionally, the pyridine group of PMAE included one dinuclear unit is coordinated to the other dimeric one each other, which leads to a one-dimensional polymer. Due to the structural differences, 1 exhibits weak antiferromagnetic interaction, while 2 shows strong antiferromagnetic interaction. Due to direct spin exchange via oxygen of PMAE 2 has a much strong spin coupling than 1.

Novel solvothermal approach to hydrophilic nanoparticles of late transition elements and its evaluation by nanoparticle tracking analysis

  • Solvothermal treatment of late transition metal acetylacetonates in a novel medium composed either of pure acetophenone or acetophenone mixtures with amino alcohols offers a general approach to uniform hydrophilic metal nanoparticles with high crystallinity and low degree of aggregation. Both pure metal and mixed-metal particles can be accesses by this approach. The produced materials have been characterized by SEM-EDS, TEM, FTIR in the solid state and by Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis in solutions. The chemical mechanisms of the reactions producing nanoparticles has been followed by NMR. Carrying out the process in pure acetophenone produces palladium metal, copper metal with minor impurity of $Cu_2O$, and NiO. The synthesis starting from the mixtures of Pd and Ni acetylacetonates with up to 20 mol% of Pd, renders in minor yield the palladium-based metal alloy along with nickel oxide as the major phase. Even the synthesis starting from a mixed solution of $Cu(acac)_2$ and $Ni(acac)_2$ produces oxides as major products. The situation is improved when aminoalcohols such as 2-aminoethanol or 2-dimethylamino propanol are added to the synthesis medium. The particles in this case contain metallic elements and pairs of individual metals (not metal alloys) when produced from mixed precursor solutions in this case.
