Eye gaze positions evaluation on computer screen uses the human eye as an input device for computer systems is that it gives low resolution. We proposes a method to determine the eye gaze positions on the screen by using two-eye displacements as the information for mapping, and the perspective projection is applied to map the displacements to a position on a computer screen. The experiments were performed on 20 persons and a 17-inch monitor is used with the screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels. Gaze detection error was 3.18 cm (RMS error), with screen is divided into 5x8 and 7x10 positions on a 17-inch monitor. The results showed 100% and 96% correction, respectively.
This dissertation represents method concerning high performance prism LGP design in 17 inch TFT-LCD. By means of developing LGP with total size of 8mm that has prism on both upper side and bottom side, it is superior to previous printing way in gaining high brightness. It can realize actual material simulation on prism LGP production using 17inch injection process and about 20% luminance enhancement is achieved based on such method.

In the process of lithography using ultra violet light sources for semiconductor devices, most of defects are made by sub-micrometer pollutants generated at photochemical reactions. We proposed and developed a novel vibration-insensitive on-axis interferometer with a sub-micrometer lateral resolution by using the interference between two beams: one scattered from defects and the other reflected from a reference area without defects. The proposed system was successfully demonstrated to detect a small Al defect of 0.5 ${\mu}m$ diameter within the inspection time of less than 30 minutes over the area of the photo-mask which is 6 inch by 6 inch square.

This study was designed to observe mandibular condyle shape and position in an asymptomatic popular ion. Using Accurad-200 head holder(Denar Corp.) for transcranial radiography of the temporo-mandibular joint region, transcranial radiographs were taken at the centric occlusion and 1 inch mouth opening in 73 males and females who were asymptomatic for TMJ disturbances, had no severe carious or missing teeth, and no history of prosthodontic or orthodontic treatments. Mandibular condyles were classified morphologically at the centric occlusion and evaluated in positional relationship with mandibular fossa and articular eminence at the centric occlusion and 1 inch mouth opening. The results were as follows: 1. In the morphologic classification of mandibular condyle, the convex shape was more prevalent in an asymptomatic population(90.4%), the locally concave shape and wedge shape were 5.5%, 4.1%. 2. At the centric occlusion, the means of joint space were 3.43nm superiorly, 2.17㎜ anteriorly, and 2.61㎜ posteriorly. 3. At the centric occlusion, the mandibular condyles were placed slightly anterior to the center of their fossa. 4. At the 1 inch mouth opening, the mandibular condyles were placed anterior to the articular eminence more than posterior to or below the top of the articular eminence.

Because of Norwegian topography as valleys and fjords, a large number of tunnels has been built and 59 of them have been excavated by TBM for last 30 years. Prognosis technology has been developed and improved through lots of TBM experiences, and the NTNU prediction model has been completed. This paper focuses the improvement of net penetration rate and advance rate in 14 Norwegian and 4 Koran TBM tunnelling sites of which data were reported. Through this period, net penetration rate as well as advance rate were increased to double with the improvement of disc cutter size and cutter arrangement in Norway. These rates in Korea were also increased for 15 years even though the rates were lower compared to Norwegian. It is estimated that these low rates were mainly caused by using disc cutters less than 17 inch diameter. It is expected that net penetration rate and advance rate can be increased by improvement of machine and tunnelling technology, especially by using 17 or 19 inch of the disc cutter size in the Korean full face mechanical tunnelling site.
The injection-molded plastic parts have many surface defects: warpage, weldline, flowmark, zetting, scratching, shading and so on. As weldline was one of the major surface defects in the case of desktop monitor, warpage and surface shrinkage are the bigger problems of LCD monitor in the pursuit of light weight and thinner thickness of parts. Some measures to improve these defects were introduced in this paper. Based on these, the laboratory work to find out the optimum processing conditions and to get the best parts was repeated injection moulding try-out after reflecting these improvements. The defects of warpage and surface shrinkage was significantly improved after the improvements in the case of the 20.1 inch even if in the 15 and 17inch case the warpage size was a lttle over the allowed specification because of not taking the measure for parts design within the allowable limits from the required specification in the cause of cost down.
This study was conducted to investigate the Warner-Bratzler shear force (WBS), sarcomere length, total collagen contents and consumer tests of different cuts of Hanwoo beef based on quality grade. Five cuts [Cheggt (striploin), Dngsim (loin), Moksim (chuck roll), Udoon (top round), Yanggi (brisket)] were obtained from Hanwoo beef (bulls and steers, 24-30 months old) and grouped by their quality grades ($1^{++}$, $1^+$, 1, 2 and 3). The WBS values of chuck cut in $1^{++}$, $1^+$ and 1 quality grade groups were 5.47 (kg/0.5 $inch^2$), 5.46 (kg/0.5 $inch^2$) and 6.54 (kg/0.5 $inch^2$), respectively, which were significantly lower than those of chuck in quality grade 3, which was 8.41 (kg/0.5 $inch^2$) (p<0.05). The sarcomere length of the quality grade groups were significantly longer for brisket (3.72 ${\mu}m$) of $1^{++}$ quality grade than for that of 3 quality grade brisket (p<0.05). Brisket of $1^{++}$ and 2 quality grade had significantly greater sarcomere lengths than strip loin and top round in the same quality grade (p<0.05). The total collagen contents of strip loins in the $1^{++}$, $1^+$, and 1 quality grade groups (1.17, 1.18 and 1.14 g/100 g, respectively) were significantly lower than those of the 3 quality grade group (1.63 g/100 g) (p<0.05). The overall sensory scores of tenderness and juiciness for the five cuts of $1^{++}$ quality grade were significantly higher than those of the other quality grade (p<0.05). Among the five cuts, loin had the highest tenderness and juiciness scores (p<0.05), whereas top round had the lowest tenderness and juiciness scores (p<0.05). Overall, there were significant differences in the WBS and sensory properties among quality grades and cuts (p<0.05). However, the sarcomere length and total collagen contents of chuck roll, top round and loin did not differ among quality grades.

The author analysed tomograms and submento-vertex radiograms of 90 temporomandibular joints from 45 asymptomatic young adults. 15 had Angle class Ⅰ malocclusion, 15 classⅡ and 15 class Ⅲ. Corrected lateral tomograms were obtained in three condylar positions; centric occlusion, centric relation and 1 inch mouth opening. The condylar angulation, depth of cut, joint spaces were analysed in each radiogram. The obtained results were as follows; 1. The mean condylar angulation in Angle class Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ group was 17.55±5.51° 13.33±8.85° 16.25±6.60° respectively, and there was no significant difference in each group. The mean condylar angulation of right side (16.62±7.23°) was larger than left side (14.80±7.33°). 2. The mean depth of cut in Angle class Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ group was 8.13±1.61㎝, 3.05±3.80㎝, 7.75±2.19㎝, respectively. Angle class Ⅰ and class Ⅱ group revealed significant difference in measurement (p<0.0l). 3. The mean height of articular fossa in Angle class Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ group was 8.67±3.06㎜, 9.61±2.57㎜, 8.93±2.83㎜, respectively. And the mean width of articular fossa was 19.90±2.80㎜, 19.48±3.83㎜, 20.36±4.82㎜, respectively. 4. The mean height and width of condylar head was 5.11±1.16㎜, 11.20±2.26㎜, respectively. 5. In centric occlusion, the superior joint space was the largest (3.42±1.42㎜), followed by anterior joint space (2.94±1.95㎜) and the posterior joint space (2.64±1.19㎜. In centric relation, the anterior joint space was the largest (3.86±2.17㎜), followed by the superior joint space (3.64±3.68㎜) and the posterior joint space (1.18±0.77㎜). 6. The displaced measurement from centric relation to centric occlusion was 1.10±1.04㎜ anteriorly and 0.24±0.97㎜ inferiorly. In 1 inch mouth opening state, the condylar head displaced posteroinferiorly (2.49±2.49㎜ posteriorly, 1.17±1.34㎜ inferiorly) from the apex of articular eminence. And Angle class Ⅰ and Ⅱ group, Angle class Ⅱ and Ⅲ group revealed significant difference in posterior measurement, respectively (p<0.01).

NF3, Chamber cleaning gas, has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 17,000, causing significant greenhouse effects. Reducing gas usage during the cleaning process is crucial while increasing the cleaning Rate and reducing cleaning standard deviation (Stdev). In a previous study with a 6-inch PECVD chamber, a multiple linear regression analysis showed that Power and Pressure had no significant effect on the cleaning Rate because of their P-values of 0.42 and 0.68. The weight for Flow is 11.55, and the weights for Power and Pressure are 1.4 and 0.7. Due to the limitations of the research equipment, which differed from those used in actual industrial settings, it was challenging to assess the effects in actual industrial environment. Therefore, to show an actual industrial environment, we conducted the cleaning process on a 12-inch PECVD chamber, which is production-level equipment, and quantitatively analyzed the effects of each variable. Power, Pressure, and NF3 Flow all had P-values close to 0, indicating strong statistical significance. The weight for Flow is 15.68, and the weights for Power and Pressure are 4.45 and 5.24, respectively, showing effects 3 and 7 times greater than those with the 6-inch equipment on the cleaning rate. Additionally, we analyzed the cleaning Stdev and derived that there is a trade-off between increasing the cleaning Rate and reducing the cleaning Stdev.
To directly engrave circuit-line patterns as wide as $6{\mu}m$ in a buildup film to be used as an IC substrate, we applied a projection ablation technique in which an 8 inch dielectric ($ZrO_2/SiO_2$) mask, a DPSS 355nm laser instead of an excimer laser, a ${\pi}$-shaper and a galvo scanner are used. With the ${\pi}$-shaper and a square aperture, the Gaussian beam from the laser is shaped into a square flap-top beam. The galvo scanner before the $f-{\theta}$ lens moves the flat-top beam ($115{\mu}m{\times}105{\mu}m$) across the 8 inch dielectric mask whose patterned area is $120mm{\times}120mm$. Based on the results of the previous research by the authors, the projection ratio was set at 3:1. Experiments showed that the average width and depth of the engraved patterns are $5.41{\mu}m$ and $7.30{\mu}m$, respectively.
