A Study Of Development Processes Of Korean and Western Plows and Their Draft Resistances to A Various Plowing Depth and Soil Conditions (한국이와 Plow의 발달과정 및 이와 Plow의 각종토양조건하에서의 경섭과 견인저항에 관한 연구)

  • 본논문은 북해도대학심사학위논문으로 총면수 143면인 영문으로 되어 있고 도 48, 표 7, 문묵 66부도, 부표 20면이있음. Plow는 옛부터 발달한 농구이기 때문에 많은 연구가 행하여졌지만 복잡한 물리성을 가준 토양을 대상으로 하는 기계이기 때문에 미해결의 문제도 적지않다. 이견인저항에 대하여 토양의 종류 및 조건을 변경하면서 실제의 포장에서 조직적으로 행한 실험은 극히 적고, 하물며 우리나라의 쟁기에 관한 연구는 거의없다. 본논문은 쟁기의 특징을 구명하고, 그의 개량, 발달에 기여하기 위한 기기자료를 획득코저 실시한 것이다. 1. 쟁기와 플라우의 구조 및 그의 차이 특징을 명백히하고 이체에 걸리는 각종의 저항의 내용 또는 그 비율등에 대하여 과거의 연구성과를 소개하였다. 2. 발달사 ; 플라우는 B.C. 2000년경에 녹각, 목지의 인력용의 경운용구에서 발달하고, 동양이도 기원은 대체로 같고 발달과정이 다를 뿐이다. 쟁기는 양자강연안에 기원을 가진 지나이가 신라와 백제에 도입되여 차차 발달하고, 지역적인 특징을 가지게 되었다. 3. 본장은 쟁기의 견인력에 관한 이론적해석을하고, 쟁기의 진행에 의해 층상으로 전단되는 전단저항을 구하고 쟁기의 표면 및 지측판과 토양과의 마찰력, 그리고 토양의 이동의 관성력을 쟁기의 견인저항에 관련되는 주요한 "힘"으로 생각하고 진행방면, 수직방면의 힘의 성분의 평형을 고려하여 식 10. 12를 유도 하였다. 4. 본장에서는 실험계획, 방법 공시기, 공시포장등을 기록하고, 축력용의 쟁기와 플라우를 사용하여 전지 4종 답 2종의 포장에서 실험하는데 견인력계와 자동경심측정기를 사용하였다. 5. 실험결과 및 고찰; 경심과 견인저항 Dp와의 관계는 식 10. 12와 갈이 표시되고, 실제의 제치를 대입하여 이론식을 유도하였으니 직선에 가까운 관계가 있고, 실험결과는 조금 곡선에 가까워졌다. 그리고, 토양의 물리성이 견인력Dp에의 영향을 세밀히 검토하였다. 쟁기의 견인비저항에 있어서도 식 12에서 {{{{K=AT+ { B} over {T } +C}}}}로 표시할수 있기 때문에 최소치를 표시하는 경심이 존재하고 이값은 쟁기나 플라우폭의{{{{ { 1} over {2 } }}}} 즉 10m정도이고 쟁기는 비저항이 0.llkg/$\textrm{cm}^2$에서 0.39kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$이였다. 그러나 이 비저항도 토양의 물리성이 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 6. 요약 및 결론 ; 이상의 장에서 검토 고찰한 결과만을 기재하고 플라우는 쟁기에 비해 견인저항 및 비저항이 논에서나 밭에서 대로 나타난 것이 특이하다. 이상의 내용을 지면관계로 3회에 거쳐 요약 발표합니다.

Fabrication of MEMS Test Socket for BGA IC Packages (MEMS 공정을 이용한 BGA IC 패키지용 테스트 소켓의 제작)

  • We developed a novel micro-electro mechanical systems (MEMS) test socket using silicon on insulator (SOI) substrate with the cantilever array structure. We designed the round shaped cantilevers with the maximum length of $350{\mu}m$, the maximum width of $200{\mu}m$ and the thickness of $10{\mu}m$ for $650{\mu}m$ pitch for 8 mm x 8 mm area and 121 balls square ball grid array (BGA) packages. The MEMS test socket was fabricated by MEMS technology using metal lift off process and deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) silicon etcher and so on. The MEMS test socket has a simple structure, low production cost, fine pitch, high pin count and rapid prototyping. We verified the performances of the MEMS test sockets such as deflection as a function of the applied force, path resistance between the cantilever and the metal pad and the contact resistance. Fabricated cantilever has 1.3 gf (gram force) at $90{\mu}m$ deflection. Total path resistance was less than $17{\Omega}$. The contact resistance was approximately from 0.7 to $0.75{\Omega}$ for all cantilevers. Therefore the test socket is suitable for BGA integrated circuit (IC) packages tests.

  • Materials are such an important factor in designing furniture. Wood is the biggest part of furniture materials. While wood is soft, eco-friendly and natural material, it is variable because it is characterized by severe expansion and contraction. Thus, if the changeable characteristic of wood is not considered in furniture design, the good design of furniture cannot be produced. As one of the skills dealing with woods, bending is such a useful way for making various forms of furniture. While it has been used in furniture-making for a long time, wood processing techniques like steaming bending, bending with ammonia and high frequency bending has been advanced. As wood is a viscoelastic material and has some plasticity, beautiful curves can be created when force is applied. Therefore this paper studies the types of bending methods for furniture and each characteristic of them. Furthermore, this study classifies wood process according to suitability for mass production or small-scale production and researches the proper wood process by the forms and the way of furniture production. Also this study aims to help furniture designers and cabinet makers with wood bending.

  • This study was performed to suggest a rational method for the stability evaluation of agricultural reservoir in the very soft ground. The stability methods for agricultural reservoir was used to compare and analyze with various condition by limit equilibrium method. The behavior of settlement-displacement obtained by field monitoring system was used to compare and analyze with various stability methods, and to investigate the applicability of the methods for stability evaluation of agricultural reservoir. The horizontal displacement was abruptly increased when physical properties of soft clay reached its maximum values and therefore, the values of these properties could be used to the fundamental data for stability evaluation. The evaluation of the stability of agricultural reservoir was suggested to use the inclination of curve rather than critical line.

  • GaN nucleation layers were grown by hydride vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE) and the effect of growth temperature on the structural properties of GaN nucleation layers for nanorods was investigated by synchrotron x-ray scattering and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). For the samples grown at different temperatures, two-component rocking profiles of (002) GaN Bragg peaks for the GaN nucleation layers were observed with one very sharp and the other broad. It was shown that the two-component rocking profile could be qualitatively explained by surface morphology, which was in good agreement with AFM result, from which we could conclude that relatively low temperature is favorable for GaN nanorods formation.

  • Space structure is a appropriate shape that resists external force only with in-plane force by reducing the influence of bending moment, and it maximizes the effectiveness of structure system. The space structure should be analized by nonlinear analysis regardless static and dynamic analysis because it accompanies large deflection for member. To analyze the structure of the space structure exactly generally geometrically nonlinear and material nonlinear, complex nonlinear analysis are considered. To settle the weakness that geometric nonlinear problem does not consider nonlinear as per trait and position of the structure material and that the nonlinear matter of structure material also does not consider nonlinear as per geometric form. Therefore, In this paper, analysis is considered geometric nonlinear and material nonlinear simultaneous conditioning, and traced load-deflection curve by using ABAQUS which is the general purpose of the finite element program.

  • For the purpose of discussing two colorimetric methods modified from the Standard Methods of Sanitary Inspection. Guide issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Affaires of Korea (1985), the Standard Methods of Analysis of Hygienic Chemists authorized by the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.(1980) and HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) method were studied. Two kinds of ham, sausage samples and four kinds of roe samples were analyzed by the HPLC method and the results agreed well with those obtained by the diazotization-coupling colorimetric method prescribed in the Standard Methods of Analysis for Hygienic Chemists authorized by the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (1980) and two modified methods.

A Study on the Protecting Wall for Transferring Pipe of Waste Using Cast Basalt Tube (용융주조 현무암 튜브를 이용한 생활폐기물 이송관로의 보호벽에 관한 연구)

  • The forces applying to an object in the transferring pipe of waste are analyzed and the equation of motion is established in this paper. It is shown that the equation of motion becomes the 1st order non-linear differential equation. Using its general solution, the velocity of the object in the transferring pipe of waste can be expressed in the explicit form. Noting that the velocity of object is impact velocity to the elbow or curved part of the transferring pipe of waste, the kinetic energy of the object can be calculated and the necessary impact strength of inner wall is obtained. The velocity of object is also calculated and presented in the graphic forms with the condition of air velocity 30m/sec. The impact test of cast basalt tube is carried out by the free fall of a weight and the test results show that the impact strength of the cast basalt tube is sufficient to apply to protecting inner wall of the transferring pipe of waste.

Development of Shear Extrusion Test for the Texture Evaluation of Cooked Noddle (삶은 국수의 조직감 평가를 위한 층밀림 압출 실험)

  • An objective method for the evaluation of eating quality of cooked noodle was established by using a specially designed shear extrusion cell of Rheometer. From the force-distance curve, the maximum force, initial force, extrusion work, and the slope were determined. In a test with Korean dried noodles made from 17 types of Australian wheat flour, the maximum and initial forces and extrusion work could represent the firm-soft and chewy character, which govern mostly the preference of cooked noodle. On the other hand, the slope could distinguish the textural changes of cooked noodle during the storage after cooking. The parameters showed significant correlation with the protein content, water absorption, development time and extensibility of flour, but no correlation was obtained with the maximum viscosity of viscogram. For the estimation of textural preference, the correlation coefficient obtained from a multiple regression analysis using the maximum viscosity of viscogram and the maximum force of shear extrusion test as the two independent variables was not significantly higher than the coefficient obtained from a simple regression with the maximum force only.

  • The settling concentration of fine suspended solid particles(alumina(Al$_2$O$_3$) and quartz(SiO$_2$)) is investigated with the physico-chemical effects(initial concentration, pH and NaCl). Laboratory tests have confirmed the significant influence of increasing initial concentration and salinity which can lead to flocculation due to the intermolecular attraction. Furthermore, the influence of the pH value on the concentration-time corves of alumina has been on firmed. Besides a numerical model to predict the behaviour of cohesive deposit under still water is analyzed by solving the unsteady one-dimensional diffusion-advection equation with a explicit, implicit, Crank-Nicolson and finite difference scheme. The model predicts the existence of an equilibrium concentration. Application of the model with implicit centered difference to data from settling experiments shows a similar distribution.
