Design and Implementation of the Stop line and Crosswalk Recognition Algorithm for Autonomous UGV (자율 주행 UGV를 위한 정지선과 횡단보도 인식 알고리즘 설계 및 구현)

  • In spite of that stop line and crosswalk should be aware of the most basic objects in transportation system, its features extracted are very limited. In addition to image-based recognition technology, laser and RF, GPS/INS recognition technology, it is difficult to recognize. For this reason, the limited research in this area has been done. In this paper, the algorithm to recognize the stop line and crosswalk is designed and implemented using image-based recognition technology with the images input through a vision sensor. This algorithm consists of three functions.; One is to select the area, in advance, needed for feature extraction in order to speed up the data processing, 'Region of Interest', another is to process the images only that white color is detected more than a certain proportion in order to remove the unnecessary operation, 'Color Pattern Inspection', the other is 'Feature Extraction and Recognition', which is to extract the edge features and compare this to the previously-modeled one to identify the stop line and crosswalk. For this, especially by using case based feature comparison algorithm, it can identify either both stop line and crosswalk exist or just one exists. Also the proposed algorithm is to develop existing researches by comparing and analysing effect of in-vehicle camera installation and changes in recognition rate of distance estimation and various constraints such as backlight and shadow.

  • 배당정책결정(配當政策決定) 설명 이른들 중에는 배당신호가설(配當信號假說)과 배당대리인비용가설(配當代理人費用假說)이 있다. 본 연구는 대리인비용(代理人費用)이 배당성향과 배당조정계수속도에 미치는 영향을 대리인비용의 대용치인 내부자소유구조(內部者所有構造)와의 관계분석을 통해 고찰(考察)해 봄으로써 두 가설(假說)에 대한 검증을 시도하였다. Value Line Investment Survey에 수록된 기업들 중 일정기준들을 만족시키는 238개 표준기업들을 대상으로 Lintner모델의 배당성향 및 배당조정계수속도가 내부자소유구조의 일차함수(一次函數)라는 가정하에 Lintner모델에 대하여 시계열/비선형 횡단면 회귀분석(回歸分析)을 행하였다. 분석 결과는 배당성향, 배당조정계수, 모두 1%의 유의수준(有意水準)에서 내부자소유구조와 유의적인 부(負)의 관계를 나타내고 있다. 이것은 내부자소유구조가 큰 기업일수록 다른 조건이 동일 하다면 내부자에 대한 배당가치가 적어지기 때문인 것으로 풀이된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근에 잦아지는 교통사고를 방지하기 위해 현재 교통시스템의 문제점을 인식하여 개선하고, 기존 교통 시스템을 지능화시킴으로써 보행자 안전을 제공하고자 기술적인 면을 추가하여 지능적 교통안전 시스템을 설계한다. 기존의 신호등과 횡단보도 대신 보행자와 운전자를 통제하는 바리케이트를 설치하였으며, 바리케이트 앞면에는 LED의 점등 카운터를 통해 교통 시스템을 구축하였다. 또한 진입 차량 속도를 측정하여 측정 속도 이상 초과 시 차량을 통제하는 속도 감응형 개폐시스템을 도입하였다. 본 논문은 지능적 교통 시스템을 도입하여 보행자 및 운전자가 무의식 속에 유발시키는 사고를 방지하고자 보완하였다.

  • In this paper, an efficient signal interference control technique to improve the convergence speed of LMS algorithm is introduced. The convergence characteristics of the proposed algorithm,whose coefficients are multiply adapted in a symbol time period by recycling the received data,are analyzed to prove theoretically the improvement of convergence speed. According as thestep-size parameter ${\mu}$ is increased, the rate of convergence of the algorithm is controlled. Increasing the eigenvalue spread has the effect of controlling down the rate of convergence of the adaptive equalizer and also increasing the steady-state value of the average squared error and also demonstrate the superiority of signal interference control to the filter algorithm increasing convergence speed by (B+1) times due to the data-recycling LMS technique.

Pedestrian Accident Rate Models of Circular Intersection Near Schools (학교와 인접한 원형교차로의 보행자 사고율 모형)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the pedestrian accidents of roundabout near schools. To this end, this study has focus on the comparative analysis of pedestrian accidents across different school areas. The traffic accident data from 2007 to 2014 are collected from TAAS data set of Road Traffic Authority. To develop the pedestrian accident rate model, the linear regression model has been utilized in this study. 28 explanatory variables such as geometry and traffic volume factors are used. The main results are summarized as follows. First, the null hypotheses that the number of pedestrian accidents are the same are rejected. Second, 5 multiple linear regression accident models with higher statistical significance (adjusted $R^2$ of 0.651~0.788) have been developed. Third, while the common variables of 3 models (model I~III) related to school location are evaluated to be the pedestrian island, crosswalk, types of roundabout, elementary school and bus stop. Fourth, while the common variable of 3 models (model III~V) related to near school area or not is evaluated to be pedestrian island, type of roundabout, sidewalk, elementary school, speed hump, speed limit sign and number of entry lane. As a result, the installation of pedestrian islands and crosswalk might be expected to decrease the number of pedestrian accidents near schools.

  • This study presents risk ranking by accident types at intersections, crosswalk and tunnel sections. An ordered logit model was used to estimate the accident severity of traffic accidents based on 58,868 accident records that have occurred on the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do over the period 2014-2017. The factors affecting the injury severity were identified by the estimated model first, and risk ranking was proposed according to conditions of accident occurrence using relative ratio analysis later. The analysis results showed that the injury severity dramatically depends on the location and time of the accident. Furthermore, there are severe injury cases in terms of the injury severity despite the small number of occurrence of traffic accident, or there are severe injury cases in terms of the injury severity despite the high frequency of occurrence of traffic accident.

  • The crossing construction under railroad have two methods which are cut and cover and trenchless method. First, cut and cover method is an extremely limited method concerning non-running time. Whereas, trenchless method is free from restriction such as train speed and running time, and has the strong points of safe and rapid construction. Front Jacking method, one of the trenchless methods, is frequently applied recently due to its stability during construction and vantage of assuring schedule reliability. The procedure is that after minimizing interlocking friction with structure and earth pressure due to jacking the small steel tube, pulling the precast box manufactured at the field in the ground using PC strand and hydraulic Jack. This method is able to be applied regardless of section size and length of box and condition of soil. And that is also pro-environmental. This paper presents the case of Daejeon E. W. perforate Road Project applied with the Front Jacking method.

Effect of Injection Angle and Length to Diameter Ratios on Drop and Penetration Characteristics in Cross-flow (아름속 횡단 기체 유동장에서 노즐 형상 변화와 분사각 변화가 액적크기와 침투거리에 미치는 영향)

  • The spray characteristics of liquid jet injected into subsonic cross-flow were investigated experimentally. Spray trajectories were captured using CCD camera. Droplet sizes were measured using PDPA and Image Express. The nozzle diameter was 0.5 mm, and its length-to-diameter ratios (L/D) ran$4.11{\times}10^6$ged from 1.0 to 6.0. Experimental results indicate that the breakup point is delayed by increasing gas momentum ratio and the penetration length is decreased by increasing Weber number. At low injection angle(${\theta}$ < $90^{\circ}$), Weber number is dominant parameter for trajectories, but at high injection angle(${\theta}$ > $90^{\circ}$), L/D is dominant parameter for trajectories rather than Weber number.

Spray Characteristics of Liquid Jets in Acoustically-Forced Crossflows (음향가진된 횡단류 유동장 내 액체제트의 분무특성)

  • This study investigated the acoustic forcing effects on the liquid column breakup length and the trajectory of liquid jets in crossflows. Cold-flow tests with a single hole circular nozzle injector were carried out by changing the injection pressure and acoustic forcing amplitude. Additionally, spray images were obtained at 12 phase angles to investigate the influence of the phage angle. The results revealed that the liquid column breakup lengths generally decreased under the acoustic forcing conditions, in comparison to those under the non-acoustic forcing conditions. However, they were not affected by the variation in the phase angles. On the contrary, it was found that the acoustic forcing hardly influenced the liquid column trajectories.
