Comparative Analysis of Marine Accidents in Fishing Activity Protection Zones and Port and Navigation Zones to Improve Fishing Vessel Security (어선 통항 안전 확보를 위한 어업활동보호구역과 항만·항행구역의 해양사고 비교분석)

  • In accordance with the increased demand for ocean use, the Marine Spatial Planning system was introduced to rationally allocate ocean space, under which fishing activity protection zones have been designated to protect fishery activities and promote fishery resource protection. However, fishing vessels that mainly sail in fishing activity protection zones are exposed to risk, such that they account for about 70% of marine accidents that occur in Korea, Proper risk management is thus required. This study aims to analyze marine accidents in fishing activities protection zones and port and navigation zones to secure the safety of fishing vessels passing within fishing activity protection zones. To this end, the traffic volume in marine use zones was investigated, and marine accidents were investigated by ship type, accident type, tonnage, accident cause, and loss of life. Analysis determined that most of the marine accidents per unit area of each type occurred in port and navigation zones, but overall most marine accidents occurred in fishing activity protection zones. In particular, it was found that traffic safety management was necessary because many human accidents occurred.

  • This study was to research and analyze the concept of school space innovation to aim at the importance of user educational value. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of students, teachers, or consumers connected with the educational autonomous innovative curriculum and various school-government educational activities and suggest the ways to link school space innovation to the best possible reflection for demander-centered or the demander needs To this end, the basic concepts of the autonomous education and school space innovation were reviewed, and the literature survey on the revised education curriculum in 2015 and educational autonomous innovation curriculum at the national level, educational goals and basic value-added awareness of the curriculum. The purpose was to research the perception of students and teachers through the survey and analysis of basic values of education, the functions of school education, the direction of school environment and space spatial composition, and school space.

The Changes of Social Spatiality in Rural Areas: Focusing on Population Structure and Utilization of Territorial Assets in Gyeongnam Provincial Villages (촌락 지역의 사회적 중간성 변화 -경상남도 촌락의 인구 구조와 영역 자산 활용을 중심으로-)

  • This paper aims to explain the changes of social spatiality in rural areas as seen on a sloping scale in reference of population structure and utilization of territorial assets. Guessing from the population characteristics of rural communities and farming activities in Hwangsan village of Uichon-Myeon, Geochang-Gun and Hanam village of Chogye-Myeon, Hapchon-Gun, it will become a society characterized by super-aged intensification and large-scale crop cultivation. Deokgok-Myeon and Yulji village of Hapchon-Gun are required to intake outside residents. They have to understand the complementary cooperation and become conscious of the relationship between existing residents and relocated people in Yudong village of Yokji-Myeon, Tonyoung-Si. Due to a decreasing population and the phenomena of the 'super-aged', the efforts to revive the spatial function as a living and working space while utilizing territorial assets could be challenged in these case study regions.

System Implementation Plan for Applying Spatial Information to Road Occupation Permit Administrative Works (도로점용허가 행정업무에 공간정보 활용을 위한 시스템 구축방안)

  • Most of the administrative works are executed based on the address. Therefore, spatial information is an essential factor for administrative works. So far, many systems, which apply spatial information to administrative works, have been implemented. However, there is little approach to apply spatial information to road occupation permit works. In this paper, we introduce system implementation plan for applying spatial information to road occupation permit administrative works. System implementation plan includes work analysis, applying scenarios extraction, system function extraction, and datamart construction plans. First, work processes and activities are defined based on the analysis of work handbook. Also, activities are displayed in diagram. Second, scenarios applying spatial information to road occupation permit works are extracted. Third, we derive service functions for system, which realize work processes and applying scenarios. Finally, spatial information datamart construction plan is established. Proposed system implementation plan in this research includes application architecture and part of data architecture. For implementing the system, plan for hardware and software architecture should be studied.

EU Enlargement toward Central and Eastern Europe, Location of Foreign Direct Investment and the Changing of Economic Space (EU의 중.동부유럽으로의 확대와 투자입지 및 경제공간의 변화)

  • As EU's enlargement toward Central and Eastern countries, it is expected to change of the economic activity space of EU. This paper aims to examine the changing of economic activity space of EU with a locational analysis of foreign direct investment in Central and Eastern countries. The foreign enterprises, particularly EU's firms are increasing the direct investment in the Central and Eastern countries from the middle 1990's for a raising of the efficiency of production and a prior occupation of the potential market. The foreign direct investment in Central and Eastern Europe has a tendency to concentrate in Poland, Hungary, Czech and Slovakia, which has relatively a large market, a cheap and plentiful labor, a stable political system and a positive inviting policy of foreign direct investment. And, the foreign direct investment shows a tendency to locate generally in a big city, which has a advantageous production factors by a well-developed infrastructure and a regional industrial organization, a skilled labors, a market, etc., and in a border area between East and West Europe because of a cheap and plentiful labor, a similar cultural environment and the low cost of transportation. In conclusion, as an integration of the Central and Eastern countries into EU, the capital territories of Hungary, Czech and Poland, and the border area between East and West Europe is becoming a new economic activity space of EU with a location of foreign direct investment. And. the Baltic zone is also expect to become a new economic activity space according to the augmentation of exchanges and direct investment inter near countries.

Emotional Experience of Korean Urban Elderly in Everyday Lives using Experience Sampling Method: A focus on gender differences (경험표집법을 통해 살펴본 도시노인의 일상생활 경험: 공간/대인맥락과 정서경험에서의 젠더차이를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine everyday emotional experience of urban elderly in Korea. Specifically, this study explores gender differences in the effect of place/location of activity and companionship on the daily emotional experience. Data were collected from 148 urban elderly (men=76, women=72) in Seoul, using Experience Sampling Method(ESM). The unit of analysis was the self-report and in total 5,530 self-reports were provided. The statistical methods used for the data analyses were descriptive statistics, t-test, χ2 verification, and ANOVA. The major findings are as follows. First, the elderly in Korea spend a quite substantial portion of their time at home, and they spend the largest share of their time in company with their spouse. Second, women report higher intensity of stress and irritation than men in terms of overall emotional experience. Third, the effect of activity location and companionship on emotional experience turned out to be different depending on gender. Emotional experience of daily lives and overall quality of life are shown to be inter-related. Based on these findings, this study provides a significant implication that situational contexts of experience should be considered in order to understand the daily emotional experience of the contemporary Korean elderly.

  • The Digital Space that is generated by combining the development of computer technology with the imagination of utopia is entering upon the new phase no more playground than the space of creation. This study focused on the persona of digital space included the digital game and the virtual world. This paper compared with the persona formation processes -creation, activity, death phase- and interpreted the distinctive features of digital game and virtual world. This is a valuable study for avatar design in digital game and virtual world.

공간감각 형성을 위한 조작활동의 지도 방안

  • 자기 주위의 상황과 그 물체에 대한 직감(intutive feeling)을 뜻하는 공간감각은 수학교육의 기본적인 구성요소로서, 수학과 과학에서 다른 영역을 공부하기 위한 도구로 사용될 수 있고, 주위의 구조와 대칭성을 볼 수 있게 도우며, 모든 수학에서 창의적 사고를 지원한다. 우리나라에서도 2000학년도부터 연차적으로 실시되는 제 7차 수학과 교육과정의 도형여역에 ‘공간감각 기르기’를 신설하여 그 중요성을 강조하였다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 미국의 공간감각 지도의 변천과 우리나라 제 7차 교육과정의 공간감각 영역의 학습 내용을 비교, 우리나라 7차 교육과정의 공간감각영역의 학습내용을 살피고, 현행 7차 교육과정에 의거 초등학교 2학년의 공간감각 영역의 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습과정을 실제 적용, 이후 아동의 학습 추이를 살펴봄으로써, 앞으로 우리나라 초등학교 아동의 공간감각 형성을 위한 여러 가지 지도방법을 제시하고자 한다. 결론 및 제언에서는 이러한 수업으로 얻어진 결과를 토대로 하여 제 7차 교육과정에서 공간감각 영역의 적용에 대한 시사점을 몇 가지 기술하였다.

  • 최근 여가 관광의 기능이 활성화되고 해양활동에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 주로 어업의 대상으로 여겨지던 해양공간이 관광자원으로서의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며, 여가활동 및 가족단위 관광활동의 증가로 인하여 해양환광활동에 대한 국민적 관심이 높아지면서 해양레저에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 하지만 우리나라 해양레저활동의 현실은 시설 및 프로그램이 활성화되지 못하고 있으며, 기존의 낚시나 유선사업의 수준을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 현재 해양레저활동자 조차도 바다에 관한 깊은 이해와 일정수준의 기술 및 노하우를 가지지 못한 상황이며, 레저보트가 접근할 수 있는 지역의 정보 부족으로 근거리의 단순한 경로만을 반복적으로 운항하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하고 요트항해에 필요한 다양한 정보의 제공에 대응하여 해양레저활동을 위한 레저항로를 부산지역을 중심으로 제안하였다.

Developing physical activity smart wheelchair treadmill for Spinal cord disorder (척수장애인들을 위한 휠체어 전용 신체활동 스마트 트레드밀 개발)

  • 본 논문은 현대에 신체활동(Physical activity)를 하지 않으면 심혈관계질환, 당뇨, 암, 골다공증 등과 같은 질환의 위험성을 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 공간부족, 시간부족, 날씨 등으로 제약을 받아 신체활동이 부족한 척수장애인의 들을 위한 스마트 휠체어 트레드밀을 개발함이다. 기존의 휠체어 트레드밀은 휠체어를 생활할 때 사용하는 대상자들에게 신체활동을 제공하였다. 스마트 휠체어 트레드밀은 경사(Slope-Incline, Decline)를 조절하여 개별마다 다른 건강체력능력에 운동강도(Exercise intensity)를 다르게 할 수 있다. 또한 스마트 휠체어 트레드밀은 거리측정, 속도측정이 가능한 센서를 부착하여 대상자의 운동량을 알 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 체중측정도 가능하여 대상자의 운동량에 대한 칼로리소모량을 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 스마트 휠체어 트레드밀과 VR(Virtual reality) 프로그램, 게임을 접목시켜 척수장애인들의 신체활동에 흥미를 증진 시킬 수 있다.
