Knowledge and Consciousness on Environment and Eco-friendly Behavior related to dietary life of Middle School Students (중학생의 식생활 관련 환경지식과 환경의식 및 환경친화적 식생활행동)

  • In this study, environmental knowledge and consciousness and eco-friendly behavior related to dietary life of middle school students were examined. Male and female students in Gyeongsan and Daegu Metropolitan City were selected for the study. Total of 490 questionnaires were delivered and collected, and 445 of them were analyzed by using SPSS Win Ver 12.0. Percentages of students who checked' don't know the answer' in 20 environmental knowledge assessment questions were $14.4\~41.8\%$, and those who gave correct answer to these responded to how the answer were $40.1\~93.3\%$. The average score of environmental consciousness was 3.45 and that of eco-friendly dietary behavior was 2.9 out of 5. When dietary behavior was divided by three categories, such as food purchasing, eating. and dish washing, the score of food purchasing behavior was 2.7, those of eating behavior and dish washing behavior were 3.0, 3.1, respectively. In the relationship between environmental knowledge. consciousness. and eco-friendly dietary behavior, there was significant positive correlation between howledge and consciousness, but no significant relation between consciousness and behavior. It showed that environmental knowledge and consciousness didn't always lead to eco-friendly dietary behavior. Therefore, education for practical betlavior must be emphasized even though the knowledge and consciousness education on environment are important.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the level of recognition, information acquisition behavior, level of knowledge, level of behaviors to decrease exposure, and education need towards endocrine disruptors of middle and high school students. The data were collected from 180 middle and high school students in Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, Busan and Gwangju. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, t tests, analysis of variance, Duncan's multiple range tests, and chi-square tests were carried out by SPSS WINDOWS Version 14.0. The results of this study were as follows. The level of concerns about endocrine disruptors was somewhat low. Many respondents obtained information about endocrine disruptors from TV/radio and school, and wanted to get the information from school and TV/radio. Both the level of knowledge and the level of behaviors to decrease exposure were not particularly high. In addition, they showed high level of education need for endocrine disruptors.

  • 이 논문에서 제안된 인간행동패턴 결정을 위한 상황인식 미들웨어는 Intelligent Home환경에서 인간과 Home환경과의 지능적인 Agent로써의 역할을 담당한다. 우리는 제시된 논문에서 인간행동패턴 결정을 위한 상황인식 미들웨어의 아키텍처를 제안하고 상황인식 미들웨어 내에서 동작하는 인간행동패턴 학습 및 결정 프로세서에 대한 구조와 구현내용에 대한 설명을 한다. 인간행동패턴을 결정하기 위한 기본 컨텍스트들을 환경 컨텍스트와 생체 컨텍스트로 크게 두 그룹으로 분리하였고 각 그룹은 세 개의 컨텍스트를 포함하고 있다. 환경과 생체로 나뉘어진 총 6개의 컨텍스트들을 정의하고 그 구성에 대하여 설명한다. 또한 컨텍스트는 9단계로 정규화 되어 상황인식 미들웨어에서의 다음 단계인 인간행동패턴 학습 및 결정 프로세서로 정규화 된 값을 전달된다. 인간행동패턴 학습 및 결정 프로세서에서는 패턴인식에 대한 세부사항을 설명한다.

  • 협조행동이 요구되는 다수의 자율이동로봇 시스템에서 각 개체는 주변환경의 인식뿐만 아니라 지속적인 환경변화에 적응할 수 있는 고도의 추론능력을 요구하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 강화학습을 이용하여 동적으로 변화하는 환경에서 스스로 학습하여 대처할 수 있는 협조행동 방법을 제시하였다. 강화학습은 동물의 학습방법 연구에서 비롯되었으며, 주어진 목표를 수행하는 과정에서 개체의 행동이 목표를 성취하도록 하였을 때는 그 행동에 보상을 주어 환경의 상태에 따른 최적의 행동방법을 찾아내도록 학습하는 방법이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 포식자들이 협조행동을 통하여 능동적으로 움직이는 먹이를 잡는 까다로운 문제에 제안한 방법을 적용하여 그 성능을 검증하였다.

해상교통 환경 재현을 위한 항해사 인지행동 분석모델 연구

  • 해상교통과 같이 선박, 항해자, 관제센터, 해운선사, 기상시스템, 지리정보시스템 등의 높은 복잡도와 방대한 범위의 요구사항을 갖는 시스템의 M&S를 위해서는 인간을 포함한 체계가 필요하다. 디지털 환경에서 해상교통을 모의하기 위해서는 주요 요소인 인적요인에 대한 모델링 필요하며, 현실감 있는 해상교통 상황의 재현 및 예측을 위해 항해자의 인지과정, 행동양식, 항해전문성, 항해오류 등을 모델링하여 반영하는 것이 타당하다. 본 발표에서는 해상교통류 분석을 위한 지능형 선박 에이전트 개발을 위해 선박운항과 관련된 항해자의 인지 및 행동을 분석하고, 이를 통해 분석된 정보를 이용하여 항해자의 행동과 유사한 에이전트 기반의 인지 및 행동 모델 개발 내용을 소개하고자 한다.

  • 시뮬레이션 환경이나 실제 환경에서 이동 로봇의 제어에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 이러한 연구 중에서 이동 로봇이 장애물을 피한다거나, 움직이는 물체를 잡는 등의 행동을 유전자 알고리즘 등의 진화 알고리즘으로 만들어내는 연구가 최근 활발하다. 이전의 연구에서는 셀룰라 오토마타 상에서 진화의 방법으로 신경망을 성장시키는 모델을 제시하고, 그 유용성을 입증하고자 이동로봇의 제어에 적용하여 나름대로 만족할 만한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 그러나 이러한 진화의 방법은 환경에 제한된 제어기를 만들어 내는 문제점이 있어 본 논문에서는 점증적인 진화의 방법을 이용하여 좀더 다양한 환경에 적응할 수 있는 제어기를 만들어 내고자 한다. 점증적 방법은 초기에 간단한 행동으로 해결할 수 있는 환경에 맞도록 제어기를 진화시킨 다음, 점차 복잡한 행동이 요구되는 환경에서 제어기를 점증적으로 진화시킨다. 실험 결과, 점증적 진화의 방법이 좀더 효율적으로 로봇을 진화시키고 환경의 변화에 보다 강한 것을 알 수 있었다.

Analysis of Environmentally Responsible Behaviors based on a Typology of Activity Involvement and Place Attachment - Focuses on Visitors to Namhansanseong Provincial Park - (활동관여-장소애착 유형에 따른 환경책임행동분석 - 남한산성 도립공원 방문객을 대상으로 -)

  • The concepts of activity involvement(AI) and place attachment(PA) are useful for explaining the sustainable use of natural resources by humans. Although several studies have investigated the effects of AI and PA on environmental behaviors and found its implications, it has not examined the simultaneous effects of both AI and PA. Thus, the purpose of this study was to develop a typology of both AI and PA. This typology was used to explain the environmentally responsible behaviors of visitors. The study sample surveyed 587 users of the main trail in Namhansanseong Provincial Park The results were analyzed by frequency, reliability, factor analysis, cross-tabulation, T-test, correlation and ANOVA analysis. As a result, the typology identified four subgroups of hikers based on involvement in hiking and attachment to setting. Results also indicate that environmentally responsible behaviors do vary significantly across typology. In detail, general environmental behavior and specific environmental behavior were significantly different between the four groups. These finding suggests that PA seems to play a more powerful role than AI in relation to environmental behavior. While more involved and more attached hikers were more active in environmental behaviors, less involved and less attached hikers had a more passive attitude. In this respect, this study placed emphasis on the fact that the future resource management of tourism and outdoor recreation may be established based on its activity experience in certain place.

The Effects of Individual Psychology, Family Environment and Social Environment Factors on Adolescents' Behavior Problems (청소년의 행동문제에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of individual psychology, family environment and social environment factors on adolescents' behavior problems. The subject of this study were 500 middle school students who reside in Incheon, Geonggi-Do and 483 self reported questionnaires were used for final analysis. The findings of this study suggested that there was no significant difference between male and female adolescents in externalizing behavior problems. However, it was found that female adolescents experienced more internalizing behavior problems than male adolescents. Secondly, low levels of self-control and more contact with delinquents. were associated with more externalizing behavior problems for male and female adolescents. Self-esteem, self-control, marital conflict and contact with delinquents were related to more internalizing behavior problems for male adolescents. In addition, self-esteem, parenting behavior and contact with delinquents affected female's internalizing behavior problems.

Animal Home Range Estimators - A Review and a Case Study - (동물 행동권 분석 방법론 고찰 - 괭이갈매기 사례 분석과 시사점 -)

  • Animals exhibit certain behaviors and movement patterns as they react to their internal needs, external stimuli, and surrounding environments. They have a bounded range in which they mostly spend their time, and it is referred to as a home range. Based on the fact that the home range is a critical area for the survival and preservation of species, there has been a growing body of research on developing more precise home range estimation methods to use the estimated ranges as a ground for establishing an effective conservation policy since the early 1940s. Recent rapid advancements in telemetry technology that resulted in the presence of autocorrelation between locations with short time intervals revealed the limitations of the existing estimators. Many novel estimators have been developed to compensate for it by incorporating autocorrelation in calculating home ranges. However, studies on the animal home range are still in their early stage in Korea, and newly developed methodologies have not yet been adopted. Therefore, this study aims to introduce the foreign home range estimation methods and foster domestic research activities on home ranges. Firstly, we compared and contemplated seven estimators by categorizing them into geometrical and statistical methodologies and then divided them into estimators that assume independent observations and those that consider autocorrelation in each category. After that, the home ranges of black-tailed gulls (Larus crassirostris) were calculated using GPS tracking data for the month of June and derived home range estimators by applying the methodology introduced in this study. We analyzed and compared the results to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each method. Lastly, we proposed a guideline that can help researchers choose an appropriate estimator for home range calculation based on the animal location data characteristics and analysis purpose.

The Effect of Daily Life Restrictions on the Behavior of People with Physical Disabilities on Emergency Behavior: Multiple Mediating Effects of Depression and Residential Environment (지체장애인의 일상생활제한이 위급시 행동에 미치는 영향: 우울과 주거환경의 다중매개효과)

  • This study was conducted with the purpose of examining the direct effect of daily life restrictions on the behavior of people with physical disabilities who are easily exposed to 'disaster inequality' on emergency behavior, and comprehensively examining the mediating effect of depression and residential environment in this relationship. For this purpose, a total of 803 persons with physical disabilities aged 20 years or older were analyzed among the panels of the second year(2019) of the Panel Survey for People with Disabilities. As a result of the analysis, first, the daily life restriction of the physically disabled had a positive(+) effect on depression, a negative(-) effect on the residential environment and emergency behavior and depression had a negative(-) effect on the emergency behavior. The residential environment had a positive(+) effect on behavior in case of emergency. Second, it was found that depression and residential environment had a mediating effect between daily life restrictions and emergency behavior of the physically handicapped. In other words, it suggests that the living environment and depression can play an important role in the effect of daily life restrictions on the behavior in case of an emergency. Based on the analysis results, the implications of the study were suggested.
