오늘날 세계는 물질적으로 풍요롭게 되었지만, 생태위기의 발생과 더불어 환경문데를 둘러싼 불평등이 감소하기 보다는 오히려 증대하고 있다. 21세기를 위한 새로운 패러다임으로서 생태학은 이러한 불평등을 극복하기 위한 지식 및 실천으로서 '환경정의'의 개념 또는 이론을 필요로 한다. 진정한 환경정의론은 한편으로 생태학의 규범적 측면들을 발전시키면서 다른 한편으로 이의 이데올로기의 동원을 막을 수 있는 이론적 및 실천적 토대가 될 것으로 기대된다. 환경정의에 관한 개념적 연구는 주로 사회정의에 관한 철학적 전통, 특히 자유론, 공리주의, 계약론을 포괄하는 자유주의적 정의론, 맑스주의적 정의론 및 포스트모던 정의론 등에서 도출된 주요 개념들을 자연환경에 확대시키고자 한다. 환경정의에 관한 몇몇 학자들, 대표적으로 벤쯔(Wenz), 하비(Harvey), 로와 그리슨 (Low and Gleeson) 등은 다양한 전통을 위에서 제시한 (환경)정의론들을 면밀히 고찰하여, 이들 각각의 한계를 제시하거나 문제점들을 지적하고, 나아가 이들을 종합하고자 했다. 이들의 연구는 환경정의에 관한 다양한 이론들의 특성을 이해하는데 많은 도움을 주지만, 그 자체로 일관성 있는 이론으로 발전하지는 못했다. 이 글에서 제시되는 환경정의론은 인간들 간의 관계, 자연과 인간들 간의 물질적 관계, 그리고 상징적 관계 등에 상응하도록 정의를 3가지 차원, 즉 분배적 정의, 생산적 정의, 승인적 정의로 구분하고자 한다. 이들은 각각 필요의 원칙, 노동의 원칙, 그리고 의사소통의 원칙에 기초하며, 또한 각각 자유주의적, 특히 롤즈의 정의론, 맑스주의 정의론, 그리고 비판이론이나 포스트모던 정의론에서 많은 시사점들을 얻을 수 있다.

본 논문은 맑스가 자본주의의 사회적 및 환경적 부정의를 비판하고 정의로운 사회 및 자연과의 관계를 위한 사회주의적 프로젝트를 제안했던 원칙들을 밝히고자 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 과정에서 비판적 생태학 일반 그리고 특히 환경정의 이론이 더욱 발전할 수 있는 기반을 도출하고자 한다. 본 논문은 제안된 몇 가지 중요한 점들은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자본주의 사회 및 자연에 대한 맑스의 비판 그리고 사회주의 사회와 자연에 관한 그의 개념은 두가지 기본적인 정의 원리들, 즉 인간과 자연 간 관계에 관한 그의 생태적 개념화에서 도출될 수 있는‘필요’원칙과 ‘노동’원칙에 바탕을 두고 있다. 둘째, 도덕성의 이데올로기적 성격에 대한 그의 거부로 인해, 맑스는 자본주의 사회에 대한 비판으로 일관하면서 자본주의에서의 정의 이론을 발전시키지 않았지만, 반면 그는 사회주의 사회와 자연과의 관계에서 (환경)정의를 위한 이론적 기초를 제안했다. 그리고 끝으로 그의 환경정의에 관한 개념화는 단지 분배적 정의 패러다임으로만 이해되어서는 안되며, 그가 생산을 교환.분배 그리고 소비를 포함하는 유기적 전체로서 이해한 바와 같이 ‘생산적 정의’라고 부를 수 있는 것과 관련지어 이해되어야 한다.

This study suggests ways to utilize the concept of environmental justice in order to improve the environment through strategies related to emissions. In Particular, this study explores ways to ameliorate the environment and traffic in consideration of environmental justice instead of simply aiming to reduce emissions. Real-time traffic information was gathered using ITS, it was input into a simulation model. and the level of present exhaust fume emissions was found. At the same time, based on current traffic situations, diverse strategies for reducing emissions were evaluated and appropriate executable alternative measures for ensuring environmental justice were provided.

최근 스마트폰이 급속히 보급됨에 따라 이동 환경에서의 협업 수행을 지원하기 위한 협업시스템의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 일반적인 협업시스템은 컴퓨터 인프라 기반의 자원 공유와 통신 등의 기능을 활용하여 효율적인 공동작업 수행 환경을 제공한다. 무선 인터넷 기반의 이동 환경의 등장은 이러한 협업시스템을 활용할 수 있는 새로운 장을 열었지만, 이동 환경을 고려한 협업 기능의 표준화된 정의 와 이를 지원하는 프레임워크의 부재로 인하여 쉽게 개발되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이동 환경을 효과적으로 지원하는 협업시스템을 개발하기 위하여 모바일 협업서비스를 정의하고 이를 명세하였다. 이동 환경에서 발생할 수 있는 일반적인 협업 상황들을 분석하고 이를 모바일 협업서비스로 정의하여 분류하였다. 그리고 협업시스템을 위한 효과적인 프레임워크를 개발하기 위하여 정의된 모바일 협업서비스를 정형적으로 명세하였으며, 이를 통하여 모바일 협업서비스의 표준화 방향을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 분산 환경을 위해 OMG에서 발표한 CORBA의 표준에 따라 하는 컴파일러의 전반부를 위해 OMG IDL 컴파일러를 사용하였다. CORBA에서 클라이언트와 서버간의 상호 동작을 위해 인터페이스를 정의한다. CORBA에서 인터페이스는 IDL(Interface Definition Language)를 통해 정의를 할 수 있다. IDL은 CORBA의 인터페이스를 기술하기 위한 추상 표기법이므로 개발에 사용되는 언어와는 연관성이 없다. 이를 개발에 사용하기 위해서 해당 언어로 맵핑을 하여야 한다. 본 논문은 IDL로 정의된 인터페이스를 C++로 맵핑하도록 하여 분산 객체 환경을 지원하도록 하기 위한 것이다. IDL 컴파일러는 IDL 정의를 입력 받아 어휘 및 구문 분석을 한 후 AST 트리를 생성하며, 생성된 각 노드를 통해 맵핑된 C++ 코드를 생성토록 한다.

This paper examines how Nietzsche, criticizing anti-naturalist philosophies, reformulated concepts of nature and human nature, and revaluated them from the perspective of naturalism. Especially, it focuses on his task for naturalistic ethics to naturalize nature and to place man back into nature. This paper also tries to reinterpret his attempt to transfer the concept of justice from the metaphysical realm to the naturalistic one, which seems to give some important insights to develop theory of environmental justice, while pointing out some limitations in his naturalistic concept of justice.

이 논문에서는 자바 환경에서 사용될 수 있는 ATM API를 정의하고, 이렇게 정의된 자바 ATM API를 Winsock 2 환경 상에서 구축할 경우 요구되는 소프트웨어의 구조와 구현 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 자바 ATM API는 기존의 자바 프로그래밍 환경에서 제공되는 JDK 중에서 인터넷 통신 기능을 정의하고 있는 java.net 패키지의 확장된 형태로 정의되었다. 동시에 순수 ATM 서비스의 표준인 ATM 포럼의 "Native ATM Services: Semantic Description, Version 1.0" 규격에 따른 표준화된 ATM 서비스 기능들을 제공할 수 있도록 정의되었다. 표준화된 ATM 서비스 제공을 위해 java.net에 추가적으로 정의된 자바ㆍATM API 용 클래스로는, ATM 어드레싱을 위한 AtmAddress, BLLI/BHLI 정보의 이용을 위한 AtmBLLI와 AtmBHLI, 소켓 개념의 통신 프로그래밍을 위한 AtmSocket, AtmServerSocket, AtmMulticastSocket, AtmSocketImpl 그리고 ATM 통신의 장점인 연결의 특성 표현을 위한 AtmConnAttr 등이다.

This paper is to explore critically environmentalism, especially in terms of environmental justice, suggested or implied in theory of liberalism which has been the ideological foundation of contemporary society. It begins with a brief look at liberal perspective in a broad sense, then interprets in-depth the classical liberalism of J. Locke, libertarianism (esp. R. Nozick) and utilitarianism (including cost-benefit analysis) from the environmental point of view. And finally it considers liberal pluralism and other alternative theories of pluralism, especially communitarianism (esp M. Walzer), postmodern pluralism (esp. I. Young), and cultural pluralism (esp. C. Taylor) in order to overcome limitations of liberal environmentalism and to find out some clues for theory of environmental justice. In conclusion, this paper argues that we need to transfer from liberalism (including liberal pluralism) to critical pluralism in oder to develop a proper understanding of environmental problems and to conceptualize a desirable theory of environmental justice.

현재의 일반적인 다중에이전트 시스템 환경은 실시간이며 복잡한 환경을 제공한다. 또한 제한적인 통신 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문의 테스트 환경인 Unreal Tournament 의 환경은 일반적인 다중 에이전트 시스템 환경을 제공한다. UT 게임의 GameBots 시스템에서 실시간 다중 에이전트 협상 시스템의 구현을 위한 ACL (Agent Communication Language) 을 정의하였으며 그에 따른 다중 에이전트 협상 프로토콜을 정의하였다. 통신 환경은 단일 채널 환경이며 제한적인 통신을 제공한다. 에이전트들은 게임 시작과 동시에 인지 정보를 기반으로 맴을 작성하게 된다. UT 게임은 환경이 실시간으로 급변하기 때문에 최단의 협상 과정을 가져야 한다. 협상 시스템의 구성은 협상 과정에서 모든 것을 정하기엔 시간이 부족하기 때문에 빠른 협상 과정을 유도하기 위하여 협상과정의 일부분을 사전에 정의함으로써 협상과정을 단순화 시켰으며, 나머지는 실시간 협상과정을 통하여 동적으로 역할 분담을 하였다 협상 방법으로는 각 에이전트의 의견이 반영될 수 있는 투표 (voting) 방법을 사용하였다.

This paper considers some significances and limitations in application of Rawls' liberal theory of justice to conceptualization of environmental and ecological justice. It first reviews Rawls' liberal theory of justice, then examines how his theory of justice considers natural resources and can be applied to develop distributive theory of environmental justice, and finally explores what kinds of problems would be generated when Rawls' theory of justice is to be extended to animals and other natural components. In Rawls' theory of justice the status of natural resources is described as a objective condition for justice, but it is argued that natural resources should be seen as a substantial component of just production and distribution. It also can be stressed that his theory of justice does not secure a just result of resource distribution, even though it has a great significance for just procedure of distribution. Finally, it seems hardly possible to extend Rawls' theory of justice to animals and other natural components to develop a Rawlsian theory of ecological justice, because liberalism and Western tradition of science on the basis of which Rawls' theory of justice has developed presuppose an ontological dualism of human beings and other natural components, and hence cannot recognize the inherent value of nature.
