Development of the Scale for Healthy aging (건강한 노후 척도 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was designed to develop an questionnaire for healthy aging. The subjects of this study were total 335 people who participated in regular exercise and went to welfare centers in Seoul. The validity and reliability were tested for verifying the developed questionnaire for healthy aging. The data were collected between June 12, 2006 and October 27, 2006. The mean, standard deviation, kurtosis, skewness, reliability, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor were analyzed for statistical purpose using by SPSS-Win 12.0 program. The results were as follows; First, to obtain content validity, the results of previous research and the value system responses were submitted to a judgement group. Second, the results of the factor analysis of the 20 items making up the questionnaire were classified into the following 3 factors; physiological health(6 items), cognitive-mental health(6 items), social-support health(8 items). Third, the reliability of the questionnaire for healthy aging was 0.891(Cronbach's alpha). In the factor analysis Cronbach's alpha correlations for the 4 factors ranged from 0.642 to 0.885. Fourth, the results of confirmatory factor analysis, all the index values(NFI, RFI, CFI, Delta 2 IFI) were close to 1. Thus, this questionnaire demonstrated good reliability and validity and therefore it was an appropriate measurement of healthy aging.

An Analysis on the Development Factor of Internet Media Industry (인터넷미디어산업의 발전요인 분석)

  • This paper explored the development factors influencing the high growth of internet media industry recently in Korea. Both theoretical model and analytic model were formulated and tested by the results of questionnaire analysis. The factors extracted from five fields were as followings: policy, technology, market, firm, and profitability. Factor analysis was used to test the fitness of the given model, and the hypothesized model was found to be useful to explain the development factors of the internet media industry. The results showed that industry's development was explained by 41.3% for firm level, 37.6% for IT technology and policy, and 21.00/0 for market condition and competition.

A Study on the Structural Equation Modeling for the effect of e-Learning (대학생의 이러닝 학습효과 영향요인에 대한 구조방정식 모형 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore factors affecting the effect of e-learning, and to find out the casual relationship among these factors. Subjects are 2,091 students who have participated in e-learning based class during the period of second semester in 2013. Those of them, 1,732 students response to the survey questions. After gathering data, they are analyzed by using Confirmative Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. From the result of Confirmative Factor analysis, data have reduced four factors, and are named as four latent variables likes e-learning effect, contents satisfaction, managing assistant factor, and system functional factor. From the result of Structural Equation Modeling, it is known as the relation and impact among factors: (a) "managing assistant factor" affects to "contents satisfaction" directly. (b) "contents satisfaction" affects to "e-learning effect" directly. (c) "system function factor" affects directly to "contents satisfaction", but does not affect directly to "e-learning effect". (d) both "managing assistant factor" and "system function factor" have an indirect effect on "e-learning effect" via "contents satisfaction".

Factor Analysis of Image of Science Teacher Desired by Elementary School Students in Scientific Inquiry-Based Instruction (과학 탐구 수업에서 초등학생들이 바라는 과학 교사의 모습에 대한 요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to extract the factors that compose the image of science teacher desired by elementary school students in inquiry-based instruction and analyze the structural associations between them. Factors that compose the image of science teacher desired by elementary school students in inquiry-based instruction were extracted through exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Based on the findings of EFA, the questionnaire has been further analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). In addition, based on the factor structure identified through factor analysis, we comprehensively analyzed the image of science teacher desired by elementary school students in inquiry-based instruction. As a result of EFA, five factors were identified which compose the image of science teacher desired by elementary school students in inquiry-based instruction: namely, teaching strategy, assessment strategy, prior guidance, understanding students, learning development. The CFA results showed a relatively strong correlation between teaching strategy and learning development, teaching strategy and understanding students. As a result of a comprehensive review of students' perception of the image of science teachers in inquiry-based instruction based on the extracted factor structure, students perceived that it is important for science teachers to run inquiry-based instruction by reflecting their understanding of students. Students also perceived importantly that science teachers run inquiry-based instruction using effective teaching strategies and proper evaluation strategies.

Validation of the Korean Version of the Student Career Construct Inventory(K-SCCI) (한국판 학생진로구성검사 타당화 연구)

  • This study verified the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Student Career Construct Inventory(K-SCCI) that was translated into Korean language from the Student Career Construct Inventory (SCCI) developed by Savickas et al.(2018). To achieve this, this study conducted item content analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and criterion-related validity in 530 university students. As a result of item content analysis and exploratory factor analysis, it was found that 4 factor models and 18 items were the most appropriate in K-SCCI. The 4 factors were named as crystallizing a vocational self-concept, exploring to gather information about occupations, deciding to commit to an occupational choic, and preparing to implement that choice. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis to verify the goodness-of-fit of the 4 factor models, it appeared to be appropriate. As a result of analyzing the correlation with related measures to verify the criterion-related validity of measures, it was found that student career construct was negatively correlated with employment anxiety but positively correlated with career adaptability.

Study on the Validation of the Korean Version of Grindler Body Attitude Scale (한국판 신체태도 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구)

  • This study, the Grindler Body Attitude Sale developed by Grindler(1991) was adopted and validation to the Korean culture. 3-factors and 25 Items were constructed through item content analysis and exploratory factor analysis. and 3 factors named through the characteristic context are 'Awareness of the Body attitude', 'evaluation of the Body attitude', and 'management of the body attitude'. The result of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fit of the 3 factor model was good. Korean version body attitude scale was positively relate to Body esteem, Concise Measure of Subjective Well-Being and Body Cathexis Scale. and negatively related Stress response scale. At the end, limitation and suggestions for the future research were discussed.

대학의 창업교육서비스품질이 교육만족과 창업역량, 창업의지에 미치는 영향

  • 본 연구는 대학의 창업교육 서비스 품질이 교육만족과 창업역량, 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 대학에서 다양한 창업교육이 진행되고 있지만 창업성과에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 창업성과를 높이기 위한 요인을 분석하기 위해 창업교육의 서비스 품질이 교육만족과 창업역량, 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 첫째, 창업교육 서비스 품질을 측정하기 위해 서비스 품질에 대한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 유형성, 신뢰성, 반응성, 확신성, 공감성 등 5개 요소 21개의 문항을 설정하고, 설문 분석 결과를 바탕으로 창업교육 서비스 품질이 교육만족과 창업역량에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 둘째, 고객 만족에 대한 선행연구를 바탕으로 창업교육 수강생의 교육만족을 정의하고, 창업역량의 요소 중 성취역량, 창의성역량, 개념화역량, 사회적 역량 등에 미치는 인과관계를 분석하였다. 셋째, 교육만족과 창업역량이 창업의지에 미치는 인과관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 창업교육 서비스 품질은 기존의 연구와 다르게 유형성과 신뢰성이 하나의 요인으로 분석되어 반응성, 확신성, 공감성 등 4개 요인으로 확인되었고, 4개의 요인으로 구성된 창업교육 서비스 품질이 교육만족과 창업역량에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 창업역량 요인을 4개로 정의하여 설문을 분석한 결과 성취역량과 창의성역량이 하나의 요인으로 분석되어 개념화역량, 사회적 역량과 함께 3가지 요인으로 확인되었다. 이는 교육만족에 영향을 받는다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 창업의지는 창업역량에 영향을 받았지만, 교육만족에 직접적인 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 교육만족이 창업역량을 통하여 창업의지에 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 차후 연구에서는 대상을 여러 지역 혹은 전국으로 확대할 필요성이 있으며, 다른 변수와의 접근 방법을 가지고 연구되어야 할 것이다.

The Development and Validity of the Empathy Rating Scale by a Third Party (타인평정 공감 척도의 개발 및 타당화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the Empathy Rating Scale by a third party and examine the validity of the scale. Based on the results of the pilot study, the study 1 focused on developing Empathy Rating Scale by a third party. From the exploratory factor analysis on a total of 15 preliminary items, three fators had been derived: 'Beginning of empathy', 'Process of empathy', 'Result of empathy'. The study 2 identified its validity by confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and discriminant analysis. Those three factors indicated the reasonable fit index by confirmatory factor addition, this scale identified a significant positive relation with authenticity, emotional clarity, and intimacy. On the other hand, it indicated a negative relation with anxiety attachment and rejection attachment. Therefore, the results indicated that this scale on a total of 11 item has a reliable convergent validity. Finally, implication and limitation of this study were discussed in relation with future studies.

  • 온라인 게임 중독과 관련된 요인들에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어졌으나 온라인 게임 중독의 원인과 결과를 단편적으로 다루는 연구가 대부분이며, 온라인 게임 중독의 유형 자체에 대한 연구는 온라인 게임 중독과 관련된 요인에 대한 연구에 비해 미약한 실정이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구의 목적은 온라인 게임 중독의 유형과 성향을 고찰하는 것이다. 본 연구는 온라인 게임에는 중독을 유발시키는 여러 요인이 존재하므로, 온라인 게임 중독에는 다양한 유형이 있을 것으로 보았다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 온라인 게임에 대한 중독을 측정하는 19개의 문항들에 대해 6개의 온라인 게임 중독 유형으로 분류하였고, 이러한 6개의 유형이 다시 2개의 성향으로 묶일 수 있음을 확인적 요인분석을 통해 검증하였다.

A Validation of the Korean Version of the Playfulness Scale for Adults (한국판 성인용 놀이성 척도의 타당화)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Playfulness Scale for Adults. The Korean version of the Playfulness Scale for adults was developed by Proyer, R.T (2017) to measure the playfulness of adults. To validate the OLIW in Korean, item translation, back-translation, item analysis, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) were conducted with 406 adults in study 1. Of the results obtained from study1, three items and one factor (7 items) were discarded because they turned out to be improper. In addition, 4 factors that were not the same as the original scale were extracted. This was checked by conducting confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with 336 adults in study 2. CFA supported the 4 factors structure and all 4 factors showed adequate internal consistency. To check the concurrent validity of the Korean adults playfulness scale, correlation analysis with the APS, SMAP, PSYA, and NEO Personality Assessment was conducted. It showed significant positive correlation to APS, SMAP, PSYA, and showed the similar patterns of correlation with the sub factors of NEO Personality Assessment. Adult playfulness is related to the participation frequency of leisure. In conclusion, the Korean version of the playfulness scale for adults is a valid measure of playfulness for adults in Korea. The implications, practical use and suggestions for future study were discussed.
