In this paper, we analyze and discuss the trend of the probability and statistics problems that have been made in the public secondary school teacher employment exam for mathematics teachers. In order to properly teach the national mathematics curriculum in 2015 in terms of content and function, we investigate the probability and statistics contents that a mathematics teachers should know. We also analyze the contents and trends of the items that have been submitted for 15 years in public secondary school teacher employment exam, and discuss the contents, scope, level and direction of the future contents. In conclusion, considering the significance of the Big Data in the 4th industrial revolution, the problems of statistical thinking of data and probability, exploratory data analysis, sample survey, and statistical inference are needed more.

We can use R package as a statistical package on the education of probability and statistics in elementary, middle and high school mathematics. R is an interactive mode package and graphical presentation tools in R are powerful. The greatest advantage is that R is a general public license package. We need to consider R package as a standard statistical package on the education of probability and statistics in elementary, middle and high school mathematics.

동시입력이 있는 병렬 네트워크에서 총 손님의 수가 특정한 값을 초과하여 과부하가 발생하는 확률을 추정하고자 한다. large deviation 이론을 적용하여 추정을 위한 최적의 확률 측도를 찾고 이를 이용하여 과부하 확률의 중요 샘플링 추정량을 구한다.

This paper analysed the mathematical paradoxes which would be based in the probability and statistics. Teachers need to endeavor various data in order to lead student's interest. This paper says mathematical paradoxes in mathematics education makes student have interest and concern when they study mathematics. So, teachers will recognize the need and efficiency of class for using mathematical Paradoxes, students will be promoted to study mathematics by having interest and concern. These study can show the value of paradoxes in the concept of probability and statistics, and illuminate the concept being taught in classroom. Consequently, mathematical paradoxes in mathematics education can be used efficient studying tool.

This paper aims to introduce the basic concept of probabilistic record linkage and its statistical framework, and describe the specific process and principle of performing it using a real example from Statistics Korea. First, we briefly describe the deterministic record linkage and compare it with probabilistic record linkage. We introduce the Fellegi-Sunter model framework for record linkage and the related paprameters: m-probability, u-probability, matched weight and decision rule. Finally, we show the detailed process of record linkage under Fellegi-Sunter model framework and evaluate the record linkage results, using sample data from the registered-based census and Population and Housing Census survey in Statistics Korea.

이 연구는 우리 날 초등학교 수학과 교육과정에서 확률과 통계영역의 내용에 대한 변천과정을 살펴봄으로서, 앞으로의 교육과정 개편에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다. 또한 확률과 통계영역의 내용에 대한 가감과 외국의 예를 밝힘으로서 교수-학습의 기초자료로 활용하도록 하였다.

The probability of Yut was calculated by using the physical property in previous study, but this article suggested empirical estimators for probability of Yut. In practice, physics-based probability imposes too strong assumptions, which result in the difference between the calculated probabilies and empirical relative frequencies. Experiment shows the probabilities of Yut depend on the integrated shape of Yut rather than the floor type. Maximum likelihood estimator and empirical Bayes estimators are compared and all turn out to be almost identicla for more than 40 trials. For smaller number of trials, Bayes estimators are recommended for its stability. Regression approach is also adopted as an easy-to-use method without empirical trials.

본 연구에서는 우리 나라 경마의 실제자료를 이용하여 연승식 경마의 입상확률에 미치는 여러 가지 요인을 조사하였고, 이를 토대로 입상확률모형을 유도하여 보았다. 외국의 경우, 경마에 대한 통계적 접근이 다각적으로 시행되었지만, 기존의 선행방법이 배당금에 의한 입상확률에 근거를 하고 있는 반면, 본 연구에서는 경마장에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 정보를 중심으로, 로지스틱 회귀를 이용한 방법을 시도해 보았다.

This study aims at improving teaching and learning abilities on the courses of probability/statistics in the fields of the S/W and H/W. In order to do this, this paper firstly conducts a survey which measures the perception of the surveyees' necessity of the related courses, and includes the contents that the related courses should cover. Secondly, this paper analyzes the educational effect on the achievement by studying Pattern Recognition, a major course of S/W and H/W, with combining probability/statistics or data analysis. Lastly, this paper suggests the promising pedagogical method for educating probability/statistics by using a survey and the case studies. In this way, this paper shows the necessity of probability/statistics for acquiring a new technology and the flexible approach of various subjects.
