For the sake of activating web-based reading education in the public libraries, This study examine the practical use of web-based reading education and research into its activation. Web-based reading, red the book at any time/where with librarian and user, is to achieve the goal of reading education. The methods are to set up Home page of reading education through Internet, to guide user in various web-based reading materials and reading planning at any time. In addition, It is to be completed interactive action such as book review, reading dicussion through E-mail, a bulletin board, chatting etc. with librarian or user.

The fine structure on the compound eye surface of 2 species(Choerades isshikii (Matsumura), Laphria rufa R$\ddot{o}$der) belong to 2 genera of Laphriinae in Korea was morphologically studied with a scanning electron microscope and image analyser. The compound eye was divided into 3 parts(medial, middle, and lateral) according to a difference in the diameter of a facet. The fine structure of a facet in the medial and middle part was characteristic in Korean Laphriinae. And this morphological character was valuable in taxonomy because of the fine structure was differ from each genus.

The coding of video sequences has been the focus of research in recent years. High Definition TV(HDTV), video conferencing and video on demand(VOD) are some of the well known applications. In the moving picture compression, motion estimation algorithm plays a very important role, but due to its high computational complexity, there has been many approaches to overcome this difficulty. We propose a new block matching criterion that uses modified cost functions. This new block matching criterion classifies pixels into 2-levels, 4-levels and 8-levels with a suitable thresholding method. We also show that our new proposed algorithms can easily be combined with many other fast motion estimation algorithms with good performance.

This article come to study the visualization representation technique of eye brain of person, basing on the ground of the dynamic graphics which is able to change the real time, manipulating the image as graphic factors of the multi-data. And the important thought in such realization is as follows ; corresponding the character points of human face and the parameter control value which obtains basing on the existing image recognition algorithm to the multi-dimensional data, synthesizing the image, it is to create the virtual image from the emotional expression according to the changing contraction expression. The proposed DyFIG system is realized that it as the completing module and we suggest the module of human face graphics which is able to express the emotional expression by manipulating and experimenting, resulting in realizing the emotional data expression description and technology.

주요 선진국에서는 개발도상국을 지원하기 위해 자금, 교육, 의료, 인프라 등 다양한 프로그램이 존재하고 있다. 하지만 개발도상국이 지속적으로 성장하기 위해서는 창의적인 활동의 증가, 사회문제 해결형 혁신 등 실질적인 도움으로 연결될 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구는 복지형 아이디어 지원 플랫폼의 대표적인 모델로써 창조경제타운을 개발도상국으로 확산하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 개발도상국의 창의적인 아이디어가 발현되고 혁신형 창업으로 연결될 수 있는 적용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 개발도상국에서 국민들이 아이디어를 제안하면 선진국의 전문가들이 재능기부 형식으로 온라인 멘토링을 수행하고, 우수한 아이디어의 경우에는 세계은행 등과 협력하여 실제 사업화를 지원할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 성공적인 사업화 지원을 위해서는 언어 번역기, 화상회의 시스템 등이 필요하고, 선진국과 개발도상국 정부와의 협력을 통해 사업화 지원 프로그램이 확산될 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 접근법의 하나로 우리나라에서 성공적으로 운영되고 있는 창조경제타운 모델을 채택하였으며, 글로벌로 확대 시 필요한 요소들을 조사함으로써 지속가능한 선-후진국간 글로벌 혁신 플랫폼의 한 형태를 제안하는데 목적이 있다.

The developing agent is the materials which first acts on silver grain and make it into metallic silver by reducing reaction. There are several types in developing agents, and according to Lumiere-Andresen principle, substitution product which has amino or hydroxyl group in benzen nucleus has a developing power, but all reducing substances are not in used .In the developing effect, not only the role of developing agent but also that of assistant materials are important. But In this work, we have studied effect, change by lith developing agent which require high contrast image. We made an developing experiment after having manufactured developing solution used hydroquinone and another developing agents like chlorohydroquinone, pyrocatcchol and pyrogallol as developing agent. And we added that did in addition of diethanolamine and ascorbic acid. and then we examined the possibility of use.

A standard default color space, sRGB, provides compatibility for the transmission of color within the Internet color operating systems and device drivers. However, a display monitor we use generally have non-standard primaries and gamma characteristic different from those specified by sRGB. In this paper, correction methods of chromatic error for a non-standard display monitor are proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed method using the correction matrix reduced chromatic errors at in compared with the non-corrected image's on a non-standard display.

최근에 인터넷 사용량이 증가함에 따라 자료의 양은 많아지고, 서비스 방식도 복잡해지는 문제가 생겨나게 되었다. 그에 따른 해결방안으로 P2P(Peer-to-Peer) 모델은 2000년대에 들어서 다시 컴퓨터 산업 무대의 중심으로 자리 잡게 되었다. 지금까지 잘 알려져 있는 클라이언트/서버 모델은 계속적으로 증가하고 있는 사용자와의 통신 수요에 대한 문제가 있다. 그렇기 때문에 P2P 모델은 이러한 구조에서 벗어나 사용자들 간의 직접적인 정보 교환을 가능하게 해주어 서버의 역할을 최소화 시켜 주었다. 이러한 이점 때문에 현재 많은 기업체들이 P2P 모델을 클라이언트/서버 모델 이상으로 선호하게 되었다. 자바를 이용해서 개발한 P2P용 메신저 통합 서비스에는 기존의 상대방과의 대화뿐만 아니라 파일 공유, 자료의 업/다운, 멀티미디어 채팅으로 상대방의 얼굴을 보며 대화를 할 수 있는 화상채팅 기능이 있고, 친구들을 쉽게 정리하여 사용자만이 관리를 할 수 있는 공유그룹과 폐쇄그룹을 추가하여 보안에 대비 하였다. 또 키워드 검색, 메타 검색으로 더 많은 자료를 손쉽게 찾을 수가 있다. 시스템 상에 XML, 웹 서버, WAP 게이트웨이 서버를 탑재하였고, 가상의 네트워크인 VPN 사용, 그리고 DB를 사용한 회원관리 및 여러 가지 서비스를 제공한다. 향후 P2P 기술은 P2P 검색, P2P 커뮤니케이션, 무선인터넷관련 기술, XML을 이용한 표준통합기술의 발전으로 더욱 침체된 시장에 활력소 역할을 할 것이다.

Reportedly it says that 45% teenagers in the United State exchange the SMS with their friends during television watching. In other word TV viewing moulds the social community between audiences. In terms of social television it is all about interaction or communication technology relevant to TV watching as well as social behaviour. Besides it integrates voice communication, text chat, context awareness, TV recommendations, ratings, video conference and so forth. So far it approaches the conceptual stage or pilot production and remains more research and development. This study is to scrutinise whether the functionality of social TV enables to substitute for social activities of TV viewers or not.

This paper proposes a method of implementing synthetic stereo and an acoustic echo cancellation algorithm for multiple participant conference system. Synthetic stereo is generated by HRTF and two loudspeakers. A robust adaptive algorithm for synthetic stereo echo cancellation is proposed to reduce the weight misalignment due to near-end speech signals and ambient noises. The proposed adaptive algorithm is modified version of SMAP algorithm and the coefficients of adaptive filter is updated with cross correlation of input and estimation error signal normalized with sum of the autocorrelation of input signal and the power of the estimation error signal multiplied with projection order. This is more robust to projection order and ambient noise than conventional SMAP. Computer simulation show that the proposed algorithm effectively attenuates synthetic stereo acoustic echo.
