This study examined how different types of remote video lectures, which universities are using in earnest now due to the COVID-19 pandemic, impact the academic achievement of learners. Zoom-based remote video lectures were divided into two types-general lecture-centered and group task-oriented-and experimental and control groups were set up accordingly. An achievement test and a questionnaire were conducted to determine how academic achievement differed between these two approaches. The achievement test revealed no significant differences in achievement scores between the two groups. Meanwhile, the questionnaire regarding satisfaction with Zoom-based video lectures indicated that both groups were highly satisfied. Participants in the general lecture-centered type group cited the effect of learning, their instructors' class preparation and attitudes towards the class, and the promotion of participation in learning activities as the causes of their satisfaction, while participants in the task-oriented type group highlighted communication and sharing, the efficiency of group discussions, and the moderate difficulty level of group tasks as the reasons for their satisfaction with the video lectures. Remote video lectures in the untact era are becoming increasingly common, and educators will need to develop various Zoom-based teaching strategies to maximize their efficiency.

현재 사용되고 있는 대부분의 화상 회의 및 화상 강의 시스템은 고정된 위치에 있는 카메라를 사용하므로 원격지 학습자는 고정된 장면만을 보면서 학습에 임해야 한다. 예를 들어, 강의 진행자가 카메라 시야를 벗어나 수업을 할 경우, 원격지 학습나는 강의 진행자의 모습을 볼 수 없으므로, 수업에 대한 능률이 감소될 수 있다. 따라서 화상 강의가 진행되는 동안 강의 진행자는 정해진 위치에서만 강의할 수 있도록 하는 제약상하을 부여하므로 강의 진행자에게 부담감을 안겨주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 강의 진행자가 카메라의 위치에 신경쓰지 않고 강의를 할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 위한 영상 강의 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 시스템은 카메라로부터 입력되는 영상을 분석하여 강의 진행자의 위치를 추적하므로 강의 진행자의 위치에 따라 변화되는 강의 환경을 적절히 촬영할 수 있다.

This thesis is aiming at analysis and implementing Distance Video Lecturing System to guarantee the high quality in service through using less Network resource. Most of the usual Distance Video Lecturing System has been designed not in the system of Multiuser Conference but Point-to-Point. But from now on Distance Video Lecturing System is to be demanded on not only the expansion to Multiuser Distance Video Lecturing System, but high quality in service for users. To solve these problems, the Multicast Transmission Technology as the dimension of Network as well as highly efficient, advanced Compression Technology should be applied to Video Conference System in company with the expansion of Network bandwidth. The system suggested in this thesis is to help to offer an application service as Distance Video Lecturing System that will make popular on the basis of the character that the next generation Internet will be high speed Network.

The influence of COVID 19 has a direct impact on the education field. In the situation where non-face-to-face classes are inevitably required, interest in the learning satisfaction and intention to use real-time video conferencing is increasing. This study analyzed the effects of learner-teacher interaction, social presence, availability, self-efficacy and academic engagement as video conferencing characteristics and learner's characteristics on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, learning satisfaction and intention to use video conferencing. The results of this study showed that learner-teacher interaction, availability, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on perceived ease of use, and all variables except availability had a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Also, perceived usefulness and ease of use were factors that increased learning satisfaction and video conferencing use intention, and learning satisfaction was identified as variables that increased video conferencing use intention. This study has significance in that it provided various theoretical and practical implications for real-time video conferencing which will be used in many educational fields in the future through empirical analysis.

Through the questionnaire, I analyzed the merit, the defect and the solution of problems of the lecture using the Video Lecturing System. In the paper, we present that the Video Lecturing is a substitute tracking method by demonstrating the superiority of it. For tile purpose of this, I compared and analyzed the Video Lecturing with the general lecture from the viewpoint of the class satisfaction and the effectiveness through the results of the questionnaire obtained by students who took the Video Lecturing class.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learners' satisfactions of the video conferencing for global engineering education and provide the implications for effective video conferencing. This study analyzed the learners' satisfactions on their participation in the video conferencing. We conducted a questionnaire survey with 132 subjects who studied in the video conferencing universities, and performed interviews with 27 learners. The results include learners wanted to have more practical themes to satisfy their interests; faculty roles among domestic professors and abroad professors should be specified: distance learners should be guided to have diverse interactions among themselves. The implications are explored for the future study and video conferencing practices.

The real-time video education is used as an effective method of operating classes that replaces face-to-face education of instructors and learners in remote areas. However, the existing video call and video conferences system is mainly used, and this is effective in linguistic education because it focuses on lecture through video, but it is not utilized in other education. In this paper, we propose a design model of real-time video system that can improve the effectiveness of science curriculum and mathematics education by providing the functions that can be utilized during class by improving limitations of image - oriented image education.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spread around the world, more and more universities are conducting real-time distance video lectures using ZOOM, Webex, and MS Teams. This study attempts to identify the factors influencing learner satisfaction of real-time distance video lectures. Based on the existing research, it was composed of five elements (system factor, content quality, interaction, self-direction, and learning motivation) as learner satisfaction elements of real-time distance video lectures. As a result of analyzing the structural equation model of 160 effective questionnaires by conducting a survey of college students in the metropolitan and Chungcheong areas, it was found that three factors (interaction, self-direction, and learning motivation) influence learner satisfaction. Real-time distance video lectures are expected to continue to expand in the future. Therefore, universities should continuously increase learner satisfaction through the development and evaluation of real-time distance video lecture satisfaction models.

원격 교육 시스템에서 화상 교육의 기능을 제공하는 교사나 학습자가 모두 카메라가 달린 PC 앞에 앉아서 약속된 시간에 개설된 교과목으로 세션으로 들어가서 수업을 진행하고, 학생들의 질문 요청이 있을 때, 이에 대한 답변을 파일 또는 화상으로 제공하고 있다. 그러나, 강의실에서 프로젝트 등을 이용하여 강의를 할 경우의 강의 장면을 실시간으로 원격지 학생들에게 제공할 수 있는 기능들에 대해서는 현재 가상 대학 시스템에서 고려를 하지 않고 있는 것 같다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실시간 원격 강의를 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 위한 시스템을 설계하고 이에 대한 프로타입을 만들었다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템을 가상 대학에서 뿐만 아니라 여러 분야에서 원격 프리젠테이션이 필요할 때 효과적으로 이용할 수 있으리라 생각된다.
