A Study on Expansion of Inland Railway Use For Container Cargo (컨테이너 화물의 내륙철도이용 확대에 관한 연구)

  • Over 80% of Korea's cargo transport relies on public roads. Such over-reliance has created a range of social problems including environmental damage. Korea thus faces an urgent need to establish an alternative mode of cargo transportation. In view of the changing international logistics environment, railway is clearly a superior mode of transport. The prerequisite task today for Korea is to enhance the competitiveness of inland railway by switching to railway and spurring new demand for cargo. This study examines inland railway cargo transport from the demand perspective. Specifically, through the use of a survey, the study identifies key factors influencing the decisions of container shippers regarding the use of railway for cargo transport. The survey responses were statistically tested using Smart PLS structural equation modeling. The results indicate that attitude toward railway use had the strongest influence on choice, while the key variable affecting attitude formation was cost.

A Study on Status Analysis and Improvement of Heavy Cargo Logistics (중량물 물류 실태 분석 및 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Interest and demand in heavy cargo logistics is increasing and becoming more diverse as economic scales have expanded and manufacturing activity has increased. Although cargo moves via maritime and/or land transportation, there is currently insufficient research on the actual condition of heavy cargo logistics. The purpose of this study is to carry out an in-depth analysis of heavy cargo laws, systems, logistics patterns, and current transportation status. By proposing measures to solve existing problems, this study aims to make an important and ongoing contribution to the scarcely studied field of heavy cargo logistics. The result of regression analysis on the main seven factors show that transportation frequency and law/system structure have a positive effect on working conditions. Furthermore, the result of correlation analysis on the main seven factors show that the cargo weight variable is highly positively correlated with cargo size. Also, the working conditions variable is highly positively correlated with the law/system structure. Detailed proposal measures to solve existing problems are summarized as follows. First, it is necessary to establish a clear concept of heavy cargo as numerous existing definitions differ. Second, laws and provisions relating to maritime and land transportation of heavy cargo need to be established and consolidated as current applicable legislation is insufficient. Third, the classification system for heavy cargo transportation needs improvement. Fourth, it is necessary to improve transportation performance statistics and the aggregate criteria system. Finally, the management system of heavy cargo also needs improvement.

A Study on the Operational Way of Freight Forwarding Company: Focusing on Residental Moving Company (화물운송주선업체의 운영방안에 관한 연구 - 이사화물운송주선업체를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to provide solutions concerned with to residential moving companies about their operational problems. In order to shed light on these problem, factor analysis and fuzzy AHP method are adopted. Selected factors are low quality of workers and equipments, weak condition of business, policy and form of a contract, and excessive competition. The results of survey show that excessive competition is the most urgent problem compared with other problems. In the twelve-measured variables, The problem of non-certificated firms, low service quality caused by excessive competition, and claims caused by lack of service instruction are chosen as the urgent matters. As a result of the analyses, the study would propose policy directions how to solve these problems. Firstly, the government should make the legal basis of operating the industry because there is too competitive in the field. Secondly, the government should regulate firms which have not a certificate because they are the cause of low service quality in the field. Thirdly, in order to improve the service quality, the study would suggest that the managers should instruct the workers of residential moving companies. Lastly, the paper would suggest that customers check the certificate of the firm allowed by the government authorities.

인공산성비 처리에 대한 은행나무와 곰솔의 생장반응

  • 은행나무와 곰솔의 유식물의 산성비에 대한 생장에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 pH 5.6을 대조구로 하여 pH 4.0, 3.2와 2.4의 인공산성비를 3개월간 처리하여 생장량, 엽록소 함량과 탄수화물의 함량을 조사하였다. 은행나무와 곰솔의 유식물은 pH2.4에서 생장이 가장 억제되었으며 반면에 pH 3.2에서는 생장이 촉진되었다. 전체적인 생장량은 뿌리에 비해 지상부의 생장에서 산성비의 영향을 더 받았다. 엽록소 함량은 산성비의 산도에 따라 중요한 차이가 없었으며 은행나무 잎의 탄수화물의 함량은 포도당과 설탕의 함량이 pH 4.0에서 가장 낮았고 전분의 함량은 pH 3.2에서 가장 낮았다.

  • DE-O-V ICP-AES has been studied for the analytical characteristics of As, Se, and Ge with PN, USN and HG. Effect of $NaBH_4$ and HCl on the signal intensity of As, Se and Ge with HG and E-O-V ICP-AES were closely investigated. The sensitivities of As, Se and Ge with HG were much greater than those with PN and USN. Accordingly, the detection limits of the elements with HG were lower by a factor of 100 and 10 than PN and USN, respectively.

  • 기업의 물류활동은 화물의 기종점 정보와 더불어 출발지와 도착지간 수배송특성, 업종간 거래 관계, 가격흐름, 경로 등 다양한 공급사슬관점에서 설명되어야 한다. 본 연구는 화물의 흐름을 물적인 흐름의 공급사슬망인 유통경로 관점에서 실증분석을 목적으로 한다. 그동안 공공부문의 물류관련 연구들은 물류현황조사 자료로부터 지역간 기종점 통행량에 기초하여 물류시설을 포함한 국가의 사회간접자본 투자정책에 주로 활용된 경향이 있었다. 또한, 민간부문의 유통경로 관련 연구는 주로 상적인 유통경로에 한정되어 보다 종합적인 공급사슬관리 측면에서 기업의 물적 유통경로선택에 대한 이해가 부족하였다. 본 연구에서는 2001년 전국물류현황조사중 기업의 물류실태조사에서 수행된 600개의 표본자료에 기초하여 기업들의 유통경로 선택의 특성을 분석하였다. 사용된 자료들의 설문조사방식은 다양한 유통노드들이 제시되고, 기업들이 상위 매출액이 높은 품목들이 다양한 유통경로 상에서 어떻게 노드들을 이용하는지 조사되었고, 이를 공장순회형, 물류센터 중심형, 도매자 중심형, 소비자 중심형 등 4개로 유형화하였다. 본 연구는 이들 4개의 유통경로들의 선택에 미치는 영향을 사업체 현황, 수배송현황, 물류활동평가, 물류시설관리 현황 등의 다양한 특성변수를 고려하여 선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

The Relation Between Precipitates and Mechanical Properties in Direct-Quenched Microalloyed Steels with Molybdenum (몰리브데늄 첨가 직접 소입 비조질강에서의 석출물 거동과 기계적 성질간의 관계)

  • 0.14wt.%C-0.82wt.%Mn-0.20wt, %Si-0.10wt.%V-0.03wt.%Nb의 조성을 갖는 직접 소입강에 몰리브데늄을 각각 0.30wt.%, 0.58wt.% 첨가하여 기계적 성질을 조사하고 투과 전자 현미경을 이용하여 각각의 미세 조직을 관찰하여 석출물을 분석하였다. 직접 소입시의 석출물은 M$_{2}$C, MC의 비평형 상태의 석출물이 생성되었고 석출물들은 마르텐사이트 래스내의 침상형탄화물, 구형의 M$_{2}$C탄화물, 직사각형 형태의 MC탄화물이 관찰되었다. 유냉시에는 래스내의 침상형 탄화물만 관찰되었으며 수냉시에는 M$_{2}$C 탄화물이 관찰되었다. 0.58wt.%의 몰리브데늄의 첨가된 강에서는 MoN이 관찰되었으며, 이 강의경우 강도의 손실 없이 인성이 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to search how to improvement methods of rail freight by understanding the problems and the evasion reasons in coping with various case of logistics environment and to enhance competitiveness of rail freight. So we examined improvement of in the productivity in the rail container transport, and possibility for Modal shift in Korea railway, we have done a survey among the shiffer and multimodal transport operators in Korea. Data were analyzed using quantitative method.
