Japanese railroad companies continued growing by developing diversification based on a railroad enterprise. However, after entering in the 1990s, the diversification model of a railroad company reached the management limit. Under economic depression, A decrease in the birthrate and aging progressed and passenger transport changed to the downward tendency. Nevertheless, since railroad investment was expanded, railroad achievements got worse and price competitiveness with JR East Japan became weak. But the achievements of a diversification section got worse compared with the railroad enterprise. Therefore, group management was thought as important and enterprise reorganization was developed.

The purpose of this research is to identify the concrete imagery terms that characterize Korean cultural identity and to express Korean feelings and images through those words. We classified the selected imagery terms into the elements of design, the principles of design, abstraction, expression and function. As a result, new aspects of the Korean Image are as follows. 1, It recognized that the colors representing the Korean image are not only achromatic but also splendid. 2. Noble images with common images have taken up a large part of Korean traditional image. 3. Pleasant images as well as sad images should be presented as a new perspective to express Korean cultural identity. 4. Indirect image rather than direct image appears frequently, while positive/active image appears frequently. Since this image accounts for a large portion of Korean present image it cannot be overlooked as Korean traditional Image. 5. Korean traditional architecture is expressed as functional and rational. Up until now, representative imagery terms about Korean cultural identity appear to be positive and active and we know that Korean feelings and images are implying more variety to the image generally recognized at this time. Therefore, if today's various information technology, and values are compared and the continuity and changes of designs are appropriately combined above Korean cultural identity with these results, this will provide an essential direction for the development of global Korean designs.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the garden details of Carla Scarpa in order to understand his selection and composition of materials, detailing style and symbolism of the spaces. Literature review and a field trip were conducted for the study and the results are as follows. First, Scarpa used vernacular materials such as Murano glass and Istrian limestone, and juxtaposed various materials using contrast of color and texture. His mixed uses of traditional and modern materials shows the passage of time. Second, he create his own detail style such as ziggurat and geometric motif, which make the garden space to look more interesting and rich. Scarpa respected local craftsmanship like glass design and used textile design style such as overlaying. Third, symbolic uses of water features help make narrative and poetic gardens. Scarpa's unique detail style and respects for traditional craftsmanship provide lessons on how to interpretate traditional design style in modern garden.

일반적으로 안경집은 일회적으로 사용하고 버리는 것이라 생각하는 사람이 많다. 안경집을 주로 생산하고 있는 대동사출금형과의 공동 노력으로 다기능성 안경집을 개발한 것을 소개한다. 일상적인 고정관념을 버리면 편리하고 기능성이 높은 제품을 만들 수 있다는 신념으로 개발한 결과 어린이나 젊은이들이 졸아할 문방구 겸용 안경집을 개발할 수 있었다. 완구는 소비자가 일상적으로 많이 접촉하기 때문에 곰팡이나 세균이 서식하지 않도록 항균 세라믹을 이용하여 항균처리하였다. 또한 상온에서 인체에 이로운 원적외선이 방출될 수 있도록 고안하였다. 단순한 색상의 무료함을 줄이기 위하여 어린이나 젊은이들이 좋아하는 상용화된 캐릭터를 사용하여 제품의 다양화를 꾀하였고, 4개의 조각으로 만들어 어린이들이나 젊은이들이 조립할 수 있도록 하여 흥미를 더할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 소비자들이 선호하는 색을 알아보기 위하여 기존의 안경집을 활용하여 색상성호도 조사를 실시하였다. 젊은층은 자극적이고 화려한 색깔을 선호하는 한편 기성세대는 무난한 색깔을 선호하였다. 또한 콘택트 렌즈를 착용하는 경우에도 안경을 사용하는 경우가 많다. 이 경우 콘택트 렌즈와 안경을 따로 가지고 다녀야 하는 불편이 있다. 이에 착안하여 안경과 콘택트 렌즈를 겸용으로 사용하는 소비자를 위하여 안경과 콘택트 렌즈를 동시에 담을 수 있는 안경집을 개발(실용신안 출원번호:8928)하였다. 이 고안은 콘택트 렌즈를 안경집에 보관하기 위한 것으로 콘택트렌즈가 식염수에 잠겨 보관된 렌즈캡을 안경집내에 별도로 삽입되는 케이스에 수납하도록 구성하여 안경과 함께 콘택트 렌즈를 보관해 휴대하는 안경집 보관용 콘택트 렌즈 케이스에 관한 것으로 이것의 특징은 뚜껑이 열리고 닫히도록 구성된 안경집에 있어서 뚜껑 안쪽에 거울이 마련되고 뚜껑이 연결되는 선단부 안쪽에 끼움홈과 체결홈이 형성된 체결부를 갖는 안경집과 이것에 결합되는 체결구가 마련되어 개폐되는 커버가 형성된 케이스로 구성된다.로 금형설계 및 제작기간을 단축하고자 한다.ere demonstrated in rats after i.c.v., intraperitoneally and orally administration, respectively. Celebrities form a dominant culture of one era and are cultivating influence to lead new fashion. Domestic women celebrities attending Seoul Fashion Week build their image as a fashion leader by exposing their own fashion aesthetics to the public. This promotes PR and sales of the brand of fashion designers in the collection. This study considers the fashion trends of women celebrities by analyzing the fashion style of women celebrities in Seoul Collection over the recent five years. The results of this study on contents analysis are as follows. First, straight silhouettes, achromatic colors, and an absence of a pattern or decoration comprised a high proportion. Celebrities preferred a modern and minimal style. Second, they preferred a feminine style that shows traditional feminine beauty through slim and princess silhouettes, one-piece dress or skirts, soft materials, and decorations with ruffles. In addition, as a matching jacket on one-piece dresses also appeared, it showed that celebrities attempted to change the chic feminine style with masculine beauty. Third, boxy silhouettes, multi-color mixed with colorful colors, graphic or lettering patterns, glittering materials and lots of details comprised a high proportion. This means celebrities pursue a maximal style that reveals their strong presence as fashion leaders.

The Stupa of State Preceptor Jigwang from Beopcheonsa Temple Site in Wonju (National Treasure) is a representative stupa of the Goryeo Dynasty, with outstanding Buddhist carvings and splendid patterns, clearly indicating its honoree and year of construction. However, it was destroyed by bombing during the Korean War (1950-1953) and repaired and restored with cement and reinforcing bars in 1957. The surface condition of the original stone shows long-term deterioration due to the m ortar used in past restorations. In order to identify the exact causes of deterioration, the m ortar and surface contaminants on the original stone were analyzed. Portlandite, calcite, ettringite, and gypsum from the mortar were identified, and its ongoing deterioration was observed through pH measurements and the neutralization reaction test. Analysis of surface contaminants identified calcite and gypsum, both poorly water-soluble substances, and their growth in volume among rock-forming minerals was observed by microscopy. Based on those results, semi-quantitative analysis of Ca and S contents significantly influencing the formation of salt crystals was conducted using P-XRF to analyze the basis of surface deterioration, and cross-validation was performed by comparing the body stone affected by the mortar and the upper stylobate stone unaffected by the mortar. Results indicate that the elements are directly involved in the surface deterioration of the body stone.

This essay traces the origin and the social function of medieval knights in Edwin Austin Abbey's murals ${\ll}$The Quest of the Holy Grail${\gg}$ in the Boston Public Library. Medieval knights in the Arthurian legend appeared in American novels at the end of 1850s and in political cartoons in the 1870s. They are featured in American Renaissance murals as well. ${\ll}$The Quest of the Holy Grail${\gg}$ painted in 1895 was the first of its kind. In Britain, the Pre-Raphaelites frequently painted medieval knights. Abbey fused the visual idiom of the Pre-Raphaelites and that of the Royal Academy of Arts in his depiction of knights. Unlike the Pre-Raphaelites, who usually focused on knights' activities, he emphasized their virtue. His representation of knights reflect the social and economic crises in America in the 1890s. After the Civil War, American society enjoyed economic prosperity but suffered from government corruption, economic inequality, and class conflict. Serious social problems such as poverty and inequality decayed American society. Writers and artists brought attention to these issues. This essay argues that Abbey criticized capitalists and expressed his hope for progress through the figure of Galahad as the iconic representation of civic virtue in ${\ll}$The Quest of the Holy Grail${\gg}$. Installed in the Boston Public Library, Abbey's murals performed a public function to warn the viewers of economic and social chaos resulting from government corruption. Abbey's American knights not only emphasized moral responsibility but also promoted patriotism. The artist refashioned medieval knights into American citizens, whose civic virtue became essential to an ideal leader in American society.

As a result of the Falkland Islands War from April 2 to June 14, 1982, Britain overcame severe economic depression and reclaimed the glory of the former British Empire by winning the war. On the other hand, Argentina was greatly affected by the collapse of a military dictatorship and the birth of a democratic government. This study suggests strategies for responding to maritime disputes that may occur in Dokdo Island in the future by applying "DIME on PMESII" to the Falkland Islands dispute. In particular, the study analyzes how DIME (diplomacy, information, military, and economy) capabilities have an effect as a means of the total national power of a country that effectively controls the disputed territory. Based on the results of this study, the response strategies related to the Dokdo maritime dispute are as follows. First, effective control over the disputed territory should be effectively maintained and strengthened like in Britain. This strategy inspires patriotism, supports the government during warfare, secures a just cause for war, and gains international support. Second, 'DIME on PMESII' was effective in modern warfare by focusing our DIME capabilities on the weaknesses of the other country's PMESII system. That is, wars are not won simply by the conflict of armed forces but by a nation's overall national strength, such as diplomatic, information, and economic capabilities. Third, appropriate strategies for neighboring countries are needed to overcome the possibility of limited warfare in the sea through preparations for Dokdo maritime disputes in the future.

The mainstream of cinema animated film in today's world is the animated film produced by film companies such as Disney, DreamWorks, and 20th Century Fox. These animated films are influenced by Hollywood blockbusters, high cost, and big-budget, which have brought a gorgeous and splendid audio-visual feast to the global audience. DreamWorks Studios founded in 1994 has become noted in just over ten years. It has produced many high-quality animated works which are well-known all over the world. This achievement is no doubt inseparable from its superior external animation industry environment, and benefited from the American animation industry which commercially operated for almost 100 years. However, in addition to these external environmental factors, DreamWorks' achievements have also come from the extraordinary and superior creation of the animated film scripts, strong narrative script ensures the logic and appeal of animated films. This article takes Kung Fu Panda series, Shrek series, The Prince of Egypt, The Croods, Chicken Run, Megamind and other representative films produced by DreamWorks as key analysis object, using Jean Baudrillard's simulation and imaging theory, Syd Field's screenwriting skills, and Hegel's aesthetic point of view, explores the Creative Style of DreamWorks' Animated Film Script which contains the following four aspects. The script is exaggerated and novel, and the subject matter is rich and targeted. The script creation is very imaginative and can fully express the visual beauty. The structure of the story is well controlled, the space comes from reality but full of imagination. The characters have distinctive personality and the dialogue is moderated but forceful.

This study aims to consider characteristics of the scenography in terms of directorial viewpoints of Belgian director Ivo Van Hove(1958~) and define indefinite realities through his production, The Fountainhead. Van Hove has gained worldwide fame with his dramatic and spectacular stage production and audience participation in his production Roman Tragedies. I paid attention to the spatial aesthetics of director Van Hove, which supports such bold stage production. I believed that his philosophy of space would exist behind his sophisticated space concept. Also, if you look closely at his work's spatial characteristics, you will find elements that capture the essence of his work and lead to a performative transition of the audience. Therefore, I would like to find out in detail how these elements were applied to the work The Fountainhead and conduct researches on the spatial characteristics of Van Hove's production. In particular, The Fountainhead shows a unique stage language through Van Hove's space production, and it is considered as the best work to study the characteristics of Van Hove's space production through a hero architect Howard Roak. In other words, I judged that through Roark as a persona, I could find a link between Van Hove's spatial aesthetics and directorial scenography. I hope that active following researches on Van Hove's spatial aesthetics could be conducted in the future, and this study would be a small starting point for his research on directorial scenography.
