Direct Growth of CNT on Cu Foils for Conductivity Enhancement and Their Field Emission Property Characterization (전도성 향상을 위한 구리호일 위 CNT의 직접성장 및 전계방출 특성 평가)

  • Carbon nanotubes (CNT) have been attracted much attention since they have been expected to be used in various areas by virtue of their outstanding physical, electrical, and chemical properties. In order to make full use of their prominent electric conductivity in some areas such as electron emission sources, device interconnects, and electrodes in energy storage devices, direct growth of CNT with vertical alignment is definitely beneficial issue because they can maintain mechanical stability and high conductivity at the interface between substrates. Here, we report direct growth of vertically aligned CNT (VCNT) on Cu foils using thermal chemical vapor deposition and characterize the field emission property of the VCNT. The VCNT's height was controlled by changing the growth temperature, growth time, and catalytic layer thickness. Optimum growth condition was found to be $800^{\circ}C$ for 20 min with acetylene and hydrogen mixtures on Fe catalytic layer of 1 nm thick. The diameter of VCNT grown was smaller than that of usual multi walled CNT. Based on the result of field emission characterization, we concluded that the VCNT on Cu foils can be useful in various potential applications where high conductivity through the interface between CNT and substrate is required.

  • 최근 초지중심 사양형태의 증가와 초지면적의 확대에 따라 단순한 사료로서가 아니라 영양가치가 높고 기호성이 높은 목초생산이 요구되고 있다. 그러나, 고위생산을 위해 다량으로 사용된 질소질비료에 의하여 질산태 중독 등의 문제가 야기되고 있어 목초의 생리 및 영양에 관한 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 사료성분 혹은 영양가치에 대한 연구는 이미 일찍부터 다루어져 왔으나, 주로 야초류, 청예작물 및 농가부산물 등의 일반성분 특히, 조단백질과 조섬유함량의 연구가 주가 되었고 다년생 목초류에 대한 연구는 1975년경부터 본격화 되기 시작하였다. 그동안 한국초지학회지와 축산학회지($1972\sim1991$)에 게재된 총 151편의 생리 및 영양에 관한 연구 중에서 다년생 목초류를 취급한 것은 불과 63편에 머물고 있다. 이 분야의 연구는 각종 목초 사료작물에 대한 재배조건과 생육단계에 따른 생리생태학적 연구와 사료성분, 소화율 및 가소화양분 함량의 일반적인 변화, 경향을 검토하여 사료 가치 평가를 위한 기준으로 삼았다. 그러나 다년생 목초류는 물론 사료 작물에 있어서 육종 생리분야의 연구는 매우 미흡한 상태로써 단지 발아, 생육, 저장탄수화물 및 유독성분 등 단편적인 연구만이 행해지고 있을 뿐이다. 또한 사료 성분이 가축의 기호성에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위한 연구는 거의 이루어지고 있지 않으므로 금후 탄수화물과 미량 요소에 대한 자세한 연구 검토가 필요하다고 생각된다. 특히 목초와 사료작물의 화학적인 조성과 가축의 생리에 관련한 여러가지 문제들도 앞으로 보다 깊이 연구되어야 할 과제라고 생각된다.권을 잡기 위해 10년지기였던 IBM과 MS사는 각각 OS/2와 윈도즈를 내세우고 양보할 수 없는 힘겨루기에 들어갔다. 또 이들 양사는 펜컴퓨터,멀티미디어등 차세대제품의 운영체제 시장을 둘러싸고 일찍부터 격전에 들어갔으며 IBM과 MS사의 혼전을 틈타 썬마이크로시스템을 필두로한 워크스테이션 업체 및 유닉스진영까지 고성능 PC시장을 겨냥한 OS를 속속 개발, 90년대의 OS 전쟁은 한치 앞을 내다볼 수 없는 안개국면으로 접어들고 있다. The Effect of Turbulence Promoters on the Mass Transfer in Ultrafiltration (한외여과에서의 물질전달에 대한 난류촉진물체의 영향)

  • The GR51PP(MWCO 50,000) and GR40PP(MWCO 100,000) membranes manufactured by DDS were used in ultrafiltration of dextran(Mw. : 500,000) solution in flat plate ultrafiltration cell filled with various types of turbulence promoters. The flux improvement by using turbulence promoter was higher in laminar flow region than in turbulent flow region. The maximum improvements of permeate flux were foud as 112% and 50% I laminar flow region and turbulent flow region, respectively. Also, the solute rejection of the ultrafiltration membrane was improved by turbulence promoters and its effect was significant in the high transmembrane pressure and laminar flow region. The smaller the spacer mesh size was used, the higher the flux improved, but the pressure drop in ultrafiltration cell also increased. In laminar flow region, pressure drop by the spacer was negligible, but in turbulent flow region it changed significantly depending upon the mesh size of the spacer and therefore, its mesh size must be baken into account in the design of the process.   • Recently, Software Development was applied to new-approach methods as a various form : client-server system and web-programing, object-orient concept, distributed development with a network environments. On the other hand, it be concerned about the distributed development technology and increasing of object-oriented methodology. These technology is spread out the software quality and improve of software production, reduction of the software develop working. Futures, we considered about the distributed software development technique with a many workstation. In this paper, we discussed optimal release problem based on a stochastic differential equation model for the distributed Software development environments. In the past, the software reliability applied to quality a rough guess with a software development process and approach by the estimation of reliability for a test progress. But, in this paper, we decided to optimal release times two method: first, SRGM with an error counting model in fault detection phase by NHPP. Second, fault detection is change of continuous random variable by SDE(stochastic differential equation). Here, we decide to optimal release time as a minimum cost form the detected failure data and debugging fault data during the system test phase and operational phase. Especially, we discussed to limitation of reliability considering of total software cost probability distribution.

  • One-dimensional equivalent linear site response analysis is widely used in practice due to its simplicity, requiring only few input parameters, and low computational cost. The main limitation of the procedure is that it is essentially a linear method, in which the time dependent change in the soil properties cannot be modeled and constant values of shear modulus and damping is used throughout the duration of the analysis. Various forms of modified equivalent linear analyses have been developed to enhance the accuracy of the equivalent linear method by incorporating the dependence of the shear strain with the loading frequency. The methods are identical in that it uses the shear strain Fourier spectrum as the backbone of the analysis, but differ in the method in which the strain Fourier spectrum is smoothed. This study used two domestically measured soil profiles to perform a series of nonlinear, equivalent linear, and modified equivalent linear site response analyses to verify the accuracy of two modified procedures. The results of the analyses indicate that the modified equivalent linear analysis can highly overestimate the amplification of the high frequency components of the ground motion. The degree of overestimation is dependent on the characteristics of the input ground motion. Use of a motion rich in high frequency contents can result in unrealistic response.

Effect of h-BN Content on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of AIN Ceramics (AIN 세라믹스의 미세조직과 기계적 성질에 미치는 h-BN 첨가의 영향)

  • The effect of h-BN content on microstructure, mechanical properties, and machinability of AlN-BN based machinable ceramics were investigated. The relative density of sintered compact decreased with increasing h-BN content. The four-point flexural strength also decreased from 238 MPa of monolith up to 182 MPa by the addition of 30 vol% h-BN. Both low Young's modulus and residual tensile stress, formed by the thermal expansion coefficient difference between AIN and h-BN, might cause the strength drop in AlN-BN composite. The crack deflection, and pull-out phenomena increased by the plate-like h-BN. However, the fracture toughness decreased with h-BN content. The second phases, consisted of YAG and ${\gamma}$-Al$_2$O$_3$, were formed by the reaction between Al$_2$O$_3$ and Y$_2$O$_3$. During end-milling process, feed and thrust forces measured for AlN-(10~30) vol% BN composites decreased with increasing h-BN particles, showing excellent machinability. Also, irrespective of h-BN content, relatively good surfaces with roughness less than 0.5 m (Ra) could be achieved within short lapping time.

Subjective Wear Comfort and Related Fabric Surface Parameters Including Fractal Dimension of Contact Points (Fractal 차원과 면 혼방직물 셔츠의 착용 쾌적감)

  • 본 연구에서 직물의 열, 수분 전달특성과 KES-FB의 역학적 특성치, 직물표면의 fractal dimension을 측정하여 주관적 의복 착용 쾌적감을 예측하고자 하였다. 실험의복에 사용된 직물은 면 100% 평직물, 면/PET 혼방직물, 피치가공된 면/PET 혼방직물, PET 100% 평직물, 알칼리 감량가공된 PET 100% 크레이프 직물이었으며, 실험의복의 형태는 긴 소매 셔츠로 하였다. 착용실험은 온도 29$\pm$0.5$^{\circ}C$, 상대습도 75$\pm$2%RH, 기류 0.15m/s를 유지하는 항온항습실에서 실시하였고 36명의 여성 피험자(20-23세)들이 참여하였다. 의복 착용감의 하위 구성차원을 파악하기 위해 실험결과를 요인분석한 결과 5 개의 요인으로 추출되었다. 제 1 요인은 체온상승, 수분특성과 관련이 있는 온열.발한감이었으며, 제 2 요인은 무게ㆍ두께감, 제 3 요인은 회복특성감, 제 4 요인은 표면접촉감, 제 5 요인은 온냉감으로 구성되었다. 직물의 표면특성을 정량화하는 방법으로 도입한 fractal dimension 의 분석값들과 종래의 가장 보편적으로 이용되어 온 KES_FB 의 표면 특성치들이 주관적 착용쾌적감 예측에 얼마나 기여하는지 비교해 본 결과, 표면접촉감은 fractal dimension, 접촉점들의 총면적, 접촉점들의 평균 axis ratio, MMD, SMD와 높은 상관을 나타내었다. 또한 종합적 착용쾌적감에 대해서는 SMD 를 제외한 척도들이 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 그 중에서도 fractal dimension 과 접촉점들의 총면적은 0.8 이상의 높은 상관을 나타내었다. 착용쾌적감을 예측하기 위한 회귀분석결과에서는 fractal dimension 만으로 쾌적감의 74%가 설명되었으며 공기 투과도를 첨가하면 두 변수로 $R^2$=.792가 되었다. 설명되는 누적분산값은 67.18%였다.주관적 평가의 결과와 객관적 평가 결과를 이용해 마직물의 태를 평가하는 산출식을 제시하였다. 태 평가치의 경우 16가지 특성치를 모두 넣는 방법과 stepwise 방법, 또 Kawabatark 사용한 순차적 군 회귀법의 세가지 방법의 회귀식 중 16가지 특성치를 모두 넣는 방법의 결정계수가 가장 높았다.tosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea. Study on the Young Yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata (Carangidae, Perciformes) from Drifting Seaweeds in the Coast of Tongyeong, Korea (경남 통영해역의 뜬말에 서식하는 방어 유어에 관한 연구)

  • Young Seriola quinqueradiata associated with drifting seaweeds weye investigated monthly between April 1998 and March 1999 in the coastal area of Tongyeong, Korea, The most abundant types of seaweed were in the genus Sargassum, including S. horneri, S. miyabei and S. thunbergii. The size of seaweed patches varied by season: patches larger than 4 m in diameter were found in May, whereas patches smaller than 0.5 m in diameter were abundant in August and September. Young Serioia quinqueradiata ranged from 11.9 to 135.4 mm in total length were collected from May to July at the study area. The striped bands on the bodies of young Seriola quinqueradiata were developed at 10.0$\~$15.0 mm in total length and increased up to 12 bands with growth, These bands were gradually disappeared at 130.0$\~$150.0 mm in total length. There was no significant relationship between the number of Seriola quinqueradiata collected and the weights of the seaweed patches ($r^2=0.04,\;p<0.05$).

  • Software reliability in the software development process is an important issue. Infinite failure NHPP software reliability models presented in the literature exhibit either constant, monotonic increasing or monotonic decreasing failure occurrence rates per fault. In this paper, reliability software cost model considering logarithmic and exponential fault detection rate based on observations from the process of software product testing was studied. Adding new fault probability using the Goel-Okumoto model that is widely used in the field of reliability problems presented. When correcting or modifying the software, finite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process model. For analysis of software reliability model considering the time-dependent fault detection rate, the parameters estimation using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data was made. The logarithmic and exponential fault detection model is also efficient in terms of reliability because it (the coefficient of determination is 80% or more) in the field of the conventional model can be used as an alternative could be confirmed. From this paper, the software developers have to consider life distribution by prior knowledge of the software to identify failure modes which can be able to help.

Development of Naïve-Bayes classification and multiple linear regression model to predict agricultural reservoir storage rate based on weather forecast data (기상예보자료 기반의 농업용저수지 저수율 전망을 위한 나이브 베이즈 분류 및 다중선형 회귀모형 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to predict monthly agricultural reservoir storage by developing weather data-based Multiple Linear Regression Model (MLRM) with precipitation, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, average temperature, and average wind speed. Using Naïve-Bayes classification, total 1,559 nationwide reservoirs were classified into 30 clusters based on geomorphological specification (effective storage volume, irrigation area, watershed area, latitude, longitude and frequency of drought). For each cluster, the monthly MLRM was derived using 13 years (2002~2014) meteorological data by KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration) and reservoir storage rate data by KRC (Korea Rural Community). The MLRM for reservoir storage rate showed the determination coefficient ($R^2$) of 0.76, Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE) of 0.73, and root mean square error (RMSE) of 8.33% respectively. The MLRM was evaluated for 2 years (2015~2016) using 3 months weather forecast data of GloSea5 (GS5) by KMA. The Reservoir Drought Index (RDI) that was represented by present and normal year reservoir storage rate showed that the ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristics) average hit rate was 0.80 using observed data and 0.73 using GS5 data in the MLRM. Using the results of this study, future reservoir storage rates can be predicted and used as decision-making data on stable future agricultural water supply.
