Korean Syntax Analysis Using Sentence Pattern Information (문형 정보를 이용한 한국어 구문 분석)

  • 대부분의 한국어 구문 분석은 용언과 명사구 사이의 하위범주화 정보를 이용하여 용언에 대한 명사구의 문법적 역할을 밝히는 방향으로 구문 분석을 시도하였다. 여기에 이용된 용언의 하위 범주화 정보가 단지 자릿수 서술어나 형용사, 자동사, 타동사 등으로 분류하는 수준이었기 때문에 구문 모호성이 많이 발생하고 틀린 문장이 구문적으로 옳기 때문에 옳은 문장으로 인식되는 경우가 발생하였다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 한국어의 용언에 따른 문장 형태(문형)를 세분류하고 문장에 필수적으로 나타나는 명사구(NP[case])와 수의적으로 나타나는 명사구(NP[case])를 분류하여 분석을 시도하였다. 확장된 PATR II로 문법을 기술하여 동적인 파싱을 쉽게 제어할 수 있도록 하였다. 문형 정보는 한국어의 기본 구조를 자연스럽게 표현할 수 있기 때문에 그 자체를 기계번역을 위한 한국어 문법으로 설정하는 것이 타당하다고 생각된다.

Digitization of Adjectives that Describe Facial Complexion to Evaluate Various Expressions of Skin Tone in Korean (피부색을 표현하는 형용사들의 수치화를 통한 안색 평가법 연구)

  • Skin tone plays a key role in one of the determinant for facial attractiveness. Most female customers have an interest in choosing skin color and improving their skin tone and their needs have been contributed the expansion of cosmetic products in the market. Recently, cosmetic customers, who want bright skin, are also interested in healthy and lively-looking skin. However, there is no method to evaluate the skin tone with the complexion-describing adjectives (CDAs). Therefore, this study was conducted to find the ways to objectify and digitize the CDA. We obtained that quasi $L^*$ at dark skin is 65 and quasi $L^*$ at bright skin is 74 for standard images, which are selected from our data base. To match the following seven CDAs: pale, clear, radiant, lively, healthy, rosy and dull, the colors of both images were adjusted by 30 panels. The quasi $L^*$, $a^*$ and $b^*$ were converted from the RGB values of the manipulated images. The differences between the quasi $L^*$, $a^*$ and $b^*$ values of standard images and manipulated images reflecting each CDA were statistically significant (p < 0.05). However, there were no statistical significances between the $L^*$ values of dark and bright skin images that were modified in accordance with each CDA and there also were no statistical significances between the quasi $a^*$ values of dark and bright skin for pale and clear CDAs. From the statistical analysis, the CDAs were observed to form three groups: (i) pale-clear-radiant, (ii) lively-healthy-rosy and (iii) dull. We recognized that people have a similar opinion about perception of CDAs. Following our results of this study, we establish new standard method for sensibility evaluation which is difficult to carry out scientifically or objectively.

Comparative Study of Corporate Brand Image in Korea and China (기업 브랜드 이미지 한국과 중국의 비교 연구)

  • In a fiercely competitive market, brands have become an important foundation for people to choose their products, and brands are also symbols of people's status and strength. Therefore, the importance of brand image design is growing. And color is an expression of emotion and can improve the communication and marketing environment of brand image as an important element of brand image. In this study, Interbrand selected Korea-China TOP 50 brand as a survey target in 2019 and downloaded brand CI from each brand's homepage to data images through Adobe Photoshop program and HSB system, and analyzed the color of the brand. There is no big difference in analyzing the color characteristics of Korean and Chinese brands, and the I.R.I color image scale analysis shows that the overall design of Korean brands is vibrant, elegant and warm to consumers. On the other hand, the overall design of the Chinese brand offers consumers a solemn, modern and sophisticated emotional adjective. Based on the results, this study can provide practical implications for companies to select colors and forms when launching their own brands and developing products.

Message Structure of Persuasive Storytelling in Travel Guide Booklets of Great Chungchung Visit Year (관광안내서의 스토리텔링적 방문설득 메시지 구조 -대충청 방문의 해 공식 안내서를 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzed the message structure of persuasive storytelling which are expressed in the official travel guide booklets of 2010 Great Chungchung visit year. The qualitative content analysis technique proposed by Creswell was used. The results were: First, travel guide booklets used '~haseyo', '~hapsida' styles to persuade the readers in friendly manners. Second, booklets used adjectives such as 'beautiful', 'delightful' to emphasize the attractiveness of tourism product and events. With those adjectives, the message sounds more subtle and emotional to the readers so that the readers will be easily persuaded. Third, booklets used the polite ways of speaking to the readers by using '~supnida', '~hapnida'. Fourth, English version of booklets lacked of storytelling structure in message.

Construction and Evaluation of a Sentiment Dictionary Using a Web Corpus Collected from Game Domain (게임 도메인 웹 코퍼스를 이용한 감성사전 구축 및 평가)

  • This paper describes an approach to building and evaluating a sentiment dictionary using a Web corpus in the game domain. To build a sentiment dictionary, we collected vocabulary based on game-related web documents from a domestic portal site, using the Twitter Korean Processor. From the collected vocabulary, we selected the words whose POS are tagged as either verbs or adjectives, and assigned sentiment score for each selected word. To evaluate the constructed sentiment dictionary, we calculated F1 score with precision and recall, using Korean-SWN that is based on English Senti-word Net(SWN). The evaluation results show that average F1 scores are 0.85 for adjectives and 0.77 for verbs, respectively.

  • 오피니언 마이닝에서 특징기반으로 상품평을 요약할 때, 동일한 상품의 같은 특징에 대한 사용자의 표현이 일치하지 않아 같은 특징을 다른 것으로 인식하는 오류가 발생되어 효과적인 분석을 하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 온라인쇼핑몰의 상품평에서 명사와 형용사쌍 말뭉치를 이용하여 연관단어뭉치를 추출하고, 상관성이 높은 형용사를 각 명사의 특징으로 이용하여 대체어 목록을 자동으로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 본고에서는 불어 자동처리 연구의 기초이면서, 불어 초·중급 학습에 가장 큰 걸림돌로 여겨지는 불어 굴절 변화형의 분석 및 생성 교육 시스템 Inflection-edu를 소개한다. inflection-edu는 부산대학교 언어 정보 연구실에서 개발한 불어 형태소 분석-생성기를 기반으로 하였으며, 동사 8,249개, 명사 29,059개, 형용사 9,957개와 그 굴절 변화형을 모두 분석 및 생성할 수 있으며, 학습자를 위한 굴절 규칙 231개를 포함한다. 제 2 장에는 분석과 생성을 위한 모델화(modelling) 방법론을 제시하고, 제 3 장에서는 이 결과를 불어 교육 시스템에 연동하기 위한 인터페이스를 제시하고, 제 4 장에서는 Inflection-edu의 인터페이스를 소개한다. 제 5 장에서는 남은 문제와 향후 응용 방향을 알아본다. 형태소 분석기와 생성기능이 교육 시스템에 통합된 Inflection-edu는 70년대 개발된 프로그램과 같이 단순하고 반복적인 교수-학습 작업을 제공하는 것이 아니다. 학습자의 요구에 정확하고 빠르게 피드백을 줄 수 있으며, 좀 더 큰 단위의 분석 및 생성이 가능하도록 하여, 좀 더 지능적인 언어 교육 시스템을 구현하는 것을 그 개발 목표로 하고 있다.

Color Analysis of Floral Designs of Shane Connolly and Paula Pryke, Floral Designers from UK (영국 화훼 디자이너, 쉐인 코널리와 폴라 프라이크의 색채 분석)

  • The study aimed at trying to contribute to domestic floral designers by analyzing colors' images of 60 floral designs of British floral designers, Shane Connolly and Paula Pryke, as the basis for color scheme of floral space design. The result of color analysis, Shane Connolly uses colors in the frequency of color order of the GY>Y>RP>YR>P>P>PB and Paula Pryke uses colors in the frequency of color order of the GY>RP>P>YR,Y>G>PB. The result of coordinate analysis of hue, value, chrome, Shane Connolly's works showed high frequency in the YtoGY color, the middle and high of value and the middle and high of chrome. Paula Pryke's works showed high frequency in the GY color and PtoRP color, the wide areas of the 3.8 ~9 stages of value, and the middle and high of chrome. The result of adjective image scale, Shane Connolly's works were found to be in between soft and static adjective zone, and Paula Pryke's works were distributed in between soft and active zone.
