Behavior of Reinforced Earth Retaining Wall for Permitting Reinforcement to Subside with Monitoring (현장계측을 통한 보강재 침하형 보강토 옹벽의 거동특성)

  • The conventional reinforced earth retaining wall has the connector system to fix the reinforcement and block. However, this system defect may cause the crack of block and the rupture of reinforcement due to the stress concentration near the face of reinforced earth retaining wall. Hence, the new connector system which was able to allow the settlement of reinforcement was developed in this study and a test was carried out in the study area which is divided into the conventional reinforced earth retaining wall and reinforced Earth Retaining Wall driving the settlement. As the results of field monitoring in situ, the ratio of tensile force calculated at maximum value on contiguous portion of front block showed that the settlement type decreased the stress concentration near the face of front block greater than the conventional type.

A Study on AR-based Interface Technique for efficient UAV Operation using a See-through HMD (투시형 HMD를 이용한 효율적인 UAV 운용을 위한 증강현실 기반의 인터페이스 기법에 대한 연구)

  • In order to effectively prevent and respond to disasters, several techniques have been developed in which the pilot wearing a see-through Head Mounted Display (HMD) performs disaster-related rescue activities using images transmitted from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). However, these techniques have limitations in quickly determining and executing tasks appropriate to the on-site situation because the pilot cannot recognize the entire field in an integrated manner. In order to overcome these problems, we propose an AR based-interface technique that allows the rescuer wearing a see-through HMD to operate a UAV efficiently. Simulation results show that the proposed interface technique allows the rescuer wearing a see-through HMD to control the gimbal and flight of the UAV at a high speed based on finger gestures in a visibility situation.

  • Developing countries and small local governments face financial constraints, limiting the adoption of their own bus information systems. However, despite poor social infrastructure and low income levels, developing countries have a high smartphone penetration rate, and the distribution and usage of online content and social media are widespread. Smartphones, equipped with GPS sensors, cameras, and other location-based information collection capabilities, can replace expensive on-site terminals. This study aims to replace expensive on-site terminals with smartphones, develop a center system based on cloud servers, and establish an extensible Open BIS (Bus Information System) service and platform that can be applied anywhere. The goal is to formulate a business model in the process.

  • The environmental survey in advance in the construction works is very important for planning and designing as well as the service of field survey before carrying out construction. The topographical application of spatial information coupled with USN is the very economical method for the survey and research every processing stage of construction field in advance. Therefore the execution of very important role for environmental planning and fundamental designing of construction reduces the unnecessary trial and error through the environmental survey in advance. In this research the environment of existent construction field is transformed to that of digital spatial information by fusing the sensor network with wireless technique on the base of spatial position. In addition, the sink sensor cumulates the environmental data measured from each USN sensor using small wireless environmental sensors installed at the construction site and changes of various environmental data at the present constructing site are able to be monitored at 3-D topographical space in real time by using the method for transmitting the image of PC output based on TinyOS.

Evaluation on Field Applicability of Cast-In-Place Pile using Surfactant Grout (계면활성제계 그라우트를 활용한 흙막이 벽체공법(CIP)의 현장 적용성 평가)

  • In case of underground construction affected by groundwater, CIP (Cast-In-Place Pile) method is generally used to resolve the geo-hydraulic problem. However, as this method has poor connectivity between piles, an auxiliary method for cut-off is needed in many cases. In this study, a new concept earth retaining wall method (H-CIP) with no auxiliary method, by using surfactant grout (Hi-FA) which improves antiwashout and infiltration ability, is introduced, and its field applicability is evaluated. CIP and H-CIP piles were installed with same ground conditions, and field and laboratory tests were conducted to verify the performance. As results, newly contrived H-CIP method shows higher field performance for cut-off and strength than conventional CIP method.

  • The success of construction projects is heavily dependent on the work ability of the field managers who manage the execution of projects. The work ability of field managers is influenced by various elements such as job stress and individual characteristics. The purpose of this study is to reveal the factors influencing the work ability of construction field managers in Korea. Work ability is evaluated bases on the Work Ability Index(WAI) developed by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, while job stress is measured using the Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form developed by the Korean Occupational Safety & Health Agency. The results showed that field managers under higher job stress have lower work abilities. In addition, it is revealed that exercise or religious practice have a positive influence on work ability. This study will help to increase the work ability and enable the efficient management of organization at building construction sites.

Applicability of Steel-Concrete Composite Drilled Shafts by Pile Loading Tests (말뚝 재하시험을 이용한 강관합성 현장타설말뚝의 적용성 분석)

  • The steel pipe of steel-concrete composite drilled shafts increases the pile strength and induces the ductile failure by constraining the deformation of the inner concrete. In this research, pile loading tests were performed to analyze the field applicability of a steel-concrete composite drilled shafts. The test ground consisted of 5~7 m thick soil underlying rock mass. The test piles consisted of two steel-concrete composite drilled shafts, which were the concrete filled steel pipe piles with the diameter of 0.508 m, and a concrete pile with the same diameter. The test results showed that the boundary between the upper steel composite section and the lower concrete section was structurally weak and needs to be reinforced by using a inner steel cage. If the boundary is located in deep depth, which is not influenced by lateral load, the allowable strength of the lower concrete section increases, so an economical design can be performed by increasing the design load of steel-concrete composite drilled shafts.

  • 스마트그리드는 기존의 전력시스템에 ICT 기술을 융합하여 에너지 공급자와 소비자, 서비스 제공자가 실시간으로 상호작용할 수 있는 형태의 차세대 전력망을 의미하는 것으로, 최근 대두되고 있는 에너지 위기를 타개하기 위한 중요한 솔루션 중 하나로 인식되고 있다. 그 중에서도 특히 AMI 시스템은 다양한 부가서비스 제공을 가능케 하는 스마트그리드의 핵심요소로 주목받고 있다. AMI 시스템은 그 적용범위가 광범위하고 대부분의 시스템 구성 기기가 물리적 접근이 비교적 용이한 위치에 설치되어 물리적 공격 및 사이버 공격에 대해 비교적 취약한 특성을 띤다. 이러한 보안 위협에 대응하기 위해 DLMS/COSEM 및 국내 지능형전력량계-제2부 표준에서는 지능형전력량계가 갖추어야 하는 다양한 보안기능에 대해 정의하고 있다. 하지만 각 보안기능에 대한 세부 내용을 상기 표준에서 모두 정의하고 있는 것은 아니어서 이에 대한 검토 및 논의가 필요하다. 본 고에서는 DLMS/COSEM 표준과 지능형전력량계-제2부 표준에서 정의하고 있는 보안 기능에 대해 살펴보고, 상기 표준에서 정의하고 있지 않은 보안 기능 중 지능형전력량계 유지보수를 위한 안전한 현장접근 방안에 대해 제안한다.

수학 퍼즐을 이용한 영재학습 자료의 개발 - 공간 감각을 중심으로 -

  • 일선 교육 현장에서 영재를 지도함에 있어서 해결해야 할 당면 과제는 판별 도구와 학습 프로그램의 개발이다. 영재를 위한 수학 프로그램을 문제 해결형, 수학 탐구형, 과제 해결형의 3가지로 분류할 경우, 퍼즐은 문제 해결형과 수학 탐구형 프로그램의 특성을 공통적으로 갖고 있는 유형으로 수학적 지식의 통합과 연결성. 그리고 창의적 문제 해결력 신장 및 수학적 원리 ${\cdot}$ 법칙을 체험적으로 만들 수 있는 기회를 제공한다는 점에서 매우 가치있는 프로그램이다. 특히 조작퍼즐은 기존의 대수적 표현 체계로 학습하기가 힘든 관찰력이나 공간에 대한 인식과 표현력 친 공간 추론력을 기르는 데 유용하며, 게임적인 요소가 포함된 퍼즐은 지필에 의존해 왔던 수학학습에 대한 부정적인 인식을 해소하는 데 크게 기여할 것이다. 본 고에서는 수학 퍼즐의 종류 및 특성과 교육적 가치에 대해서 개괄적으로 살펴보고, 실제 프로그램 작성을 위한 정보를 제공과 영재들의 공감 감각을 기르기 위한 프로그램의 원을 이용한 수학 퍼즐의 개요를 제시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 750 kW 풍력발전용 인버터를 개발한 결과와 2년 동안의 현장실증을 통하여 얻어진 경험을 바탕으로 2 MW 영구자석형 동기발전기(PMSG, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator)의 전력변환을 위한 병렬형 인버터의 시뮬레이션과 이를 통한 설계와 제작 및 기본시험 과정을 소개하고자 한다.
