연구의 목적은 자연의 소중함을 깨닫게 된 코로나 시대를 거치면서 자연의 다양한 모티브 중에서 개체 수의감소가 환경오염의 척도로 상징되는 나비, 곤충 등의 표현 빈도가 증가하는 것에 주목하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 범위는 2019년부터 2023년까지의 패션컬렉션을 대상으로 온라인 <보그>지(www.vogue.com)의 시즌별 패션컬렉션 패션쇼 사진과 인터뷰 기사로 한정하였다. 연구 결과 185개의 나비모티브 의상이 나타났으며 평면적 표현방식의 유형으로는 디지털 프린팅 기법이 가장 많이 활용되었다. 이와 함께 퀼팅, 자수, 비딩 등의 기법들이 나비의 평면적 모티브를 표현하는 기법으로 많이 등장하였다. 입체적 표현 유형으로는 3D 프린팅, 레이저 컷팅, 코사지 기법, 드레이핑 기법을 사용한 유형들이 비슷한 비중으로 나타났다. 표현된 나비 모티브는 추상적인 표현보다는 나비의 형태를 그대로 묘사한 사실적인 디자인이 더 많았음을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 최근 5년간의 나비모티브 패션디자인은 과거의 나비모티브 패션에 비해 환경에 대한 메시지를 강하게 담고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 단순히 나비의 형태적 아름다움과 화려한 디자인 요소를 넘어서 친환경 메시지를 전달할 수 있는 상징적 의미가 큰 모티브임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The globalization of Korean beauty comes partly from the succession of korean traditional culture and its modernization will be the one of very important issues in 21st century. This paper was done in order to analyze the process of Korean design development in modern Korean fashion in terms of the succession and modernization of Koreantraditional Beauty and based on this analysis also suggest new possibilities for successful globalization of Korean traditional beauty andbased on this analysis also suggest new possibilities for successful globalization of Korean fashion in 21st century. 227 fashion designs which represent typical elements of korean traditional costume were selected from fashion magazines books SFAA collection books and company brochures published from 1986, to 1997. Content analysis was used with 8 variables including 7 design elements(line shape, color, textile, motif, detail, accessories) and year. Results of analysis showed that the process of Korean Design development in modern Korean fashion has in the use of straight lines and simple silhouettes. Diversity could be found in the application of various kinds of outwear items as well as in the variety of materials and details. Symbolic tradtional motifs and accessories were used to enliven the Korean folklore image, These trends became more salient with the turning point of 1993 when a few designers began to participate in Paris Collection. For successful globalization designers should have more active attitudes toward exploiting the essence of Korean beauty and developing them as modern and global styles.

This study aims to clarify the identity of contemporary Chinese fashion design by examining how the characteristics of Chinese tradition are accepted and presented in fashion under the influences of western cultures. This study performed a literature survey on related works. Also this study performed demonstrative analysis of Chinese daily newspapers (People's Daily and Xinmin Evening News, 2007-2010) and fashion collections by Chinese and Chinese descent designers(2007-2011). The results are as follows: First, China is trying to express Chinese traditional ideas and factors in the design areas, and also trying to achieve an universal generalization. Second, the Chinese designers emphasized traditional ideas and culture in their designs. The Chinese descent designers were affected more by western culture. The common aesthetic consciousness were the beauties of sophisticated and splendorous decoration, vastness and elegance. Also the compromised images, neutral images and antique images were common in both groups. Third, the Chinese designers presented fashion designs on formalized and imitation stage. Also they tried to make a metaphorical stage. The Chinese descent designers showed designs on a metaphorical stage. In conclusion, the contemporary Chinese fashion design should find the way to globalize and identity of the traditional culture code simultaneously.

The purpose of this paper is to understand some methods to provide women's shoes and their design images from the 1920s to the 1940s, and to benefit from the new methods for creative design and new materials in the future. It also examined the features with the academic background of women's shoes. To target on analysis items and shoes design factors, moreover, it made reference to the paper by former research. As a result, 28 shoes (30.04%) in the 1920s, 47 shoes(51.09%) in the 1930s, and 17 shoes (18.47%) in the 1940s have been collected. The strap shoes, combination color, bright texture, and buckle trimmings are first on the list. The most popular shoes were pumps and strap, in terms of design and shape. In particular, black was one of the common and popular colors. Most of the shoes had buckles. Texture also was brilliant. This study was meaningful to provide understanding and information about a variety of women's shoes designs from the 1920s to the 1930s.

현대사회는 정보사회이다. 오늘날의 패션산업은 정보의 산물이라고 이를 정도로 라디오, 텔레비젼 그리고 신문이나 잡지와 같은 다양한 정보매체에 의하여 전파되고 있다. 패션저널리즘이란 저널리즘의 한 분야로서 출판이나 방송 등 정보매체를 통해 패션에 관한 정보나 의견을 대중들에게 전달하는 활동을 이른다.1) 이미 영국과 같은 유럽 패션 선진국에서는 오래 전부터 패션저널리즘이 저널리즘의 한 분야로 정착되기 시작하였고 10년 전부터는 의상디자인 학과 내에 패션저널리즘 전공프로그램이 설정되어 신문, 잡지 등 저널리즘에 종사하는 패션저널리스트를 배출하는데 큰 몫을 담당하고 있으며 아울러 실무에 종사하고 있는 기자들의 재교육 프로그램으로도 활용되고 있다. 우리 나라의 여성잡지는 패션정보의 공급원으로서의 역할을 수행해 왔다 할 수 있으며 패션화보 기사를 처음 다룬$\boxDr$여원$\boxUl$을 효시로 하여 그 역사가 40년에 이른다. 본 연구는 우리 나라 패션저널리즘을 체계화할 필요성에서 시작되었으며 일반 대중을 대상으로 한 우리 나라의 패션관련잡지의 성향과 구성내용을 분석 하므로써 패션저널리즘의 동향을 파악하여 우리 나라 패션저널리즘의 틀을 구축하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 최근 간행된 패션관련잡지에 실린 패션기사를 대상으로 하여 패션기사 량, 패션이미지, 패션기사의 성격을 정량적, 정성 적으로 비교 분석하고 잡지의 제호 변경이 패션 기사내용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 여성지의 패션기사는 패션저널리즘의 역사적 발전 과정에서 점차 그 위치를 확고히 구축해 가고 있는 것이 발견되었는데, 결론적으로 우리 나라 패션저널리즘은 정보의 전문화, 독자 연령층의 하향화, 외국잡지의 국내 정착화의 과정에 놓여 있는 것이 뚜렷이 발견되고 있었다. 본 논문은 의상브랜드의 브랜드 포지션 닝을 통해서 패션저널리즘의 동향을 대상연령층과 패션이미지의 상관 관계로 정립해보고자 시도해 본 적이며 패션저널리즘 교육의 전문화와 패션저널리즘에 대한 지속적이고 심층적인 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

Chinese traditional wedding dress is a unique cultural symbol. It had a deep historical background as it went through different productions in each dynasty. However, with the introduction of Western ideas, an increasing number of people are wearing Western-style wedding dresses when they are getting married. Recently, traditional Chinese culture has been increasingly valued. Demand for traditional Chinese wedding dresses among modern Chinese people is increasing. Following this trend, Chinese designer Guo Pei(1967~) is actively innovating elements of traditional Chinese wedding dresses. This study aimed to analyze changes in traditional wedding dress styles by dynasty in China from 1046 B.C. to 1911 A.D. based on museum data and previous research. Changes in traditional wedding dress styles by Chinese dynasty were analyzed and organized. The meaning of wedding dress patterns was analyzed by type using traditional Chinese patterns. This study focused on Guo Pei's 2012 "Chinese bride" series and "Legend of the dragon" series. Starting from the development and characteristics of traditional Chinese wedding dresses, this study analyzed fashion characteristics of Guo Pei's wedding dress series. Goals of this study were to preserve the essence of traditional Chinese wedding dresses; and to determine how to apply the fusion of traditional Chinese design elements into fashion and modern design to wedding dresses.

본 연구의 목적은 후프(hoop)의 기원 및 변천과정을 고찰해보고 시대별로 후프의 유형을 분류한 후, 포스트모더니즘 이후 더욱 다양해진 후프가 현대패션에서 어떻게 응용되고 있는지를 살펴봄으로써 후프의 역사적ㆍ미적 가치를 재인식하여 오늘날 복식디자인에 창조의 영감을 줄 수 있는 하나의 모티브를 제시하는데 있다. 후프가 발생하였던 르네상스시대에는 신 중심에서 인간중심으로 사고가 변화하면서, 복식에 있어서도 인간의 신체미를 과시하려는 의도로 인체의 실루엣을 과장ㆍ확대하고자 하였다. 따라서 속옷의 중요성과 역할에 따른 심미적인 기능이 복식에 절대적으로 필요하였고, 뿐만 아니라 기교적인 면에서 속옷에 요구되는 장식성은 어느 시대보다 절실하였다. 그 결과 겉옷이 확대되고, 이에 따라 속옷도 인체를 크게 보일 수 있는 후프가 고안되었다. 후프는 스커트를 부풀리기 위해 철사나 고래뼈 등을 세공하여 만든 테를 넣은 속치마를 말한다. 16세기 중엽 스페인에서 유행한 종형의 파딩게일(farthingale)을 시초로, 영국과 프랑스에서는 드럼형의 휠 파딩게일(wheel farthingale)과 오쓰뀌(hausse col)가 유행하였다. 17세기 초기에는 후프를 착용한 16세기 복식이 유행하였으나, 1625년 이후 슬림한 스타일의 17세기 복식이 유행하자 후프의 착용은 점차 쇠퇴하였다. 18세기에는 파니에(panier)가 유행하여 옆을 부풀린 스커트의 실루엣을 형성하였고, 19세기에는 크리놀린(crinoline), 벗슬(bustle)이 유행하였다.

오늘날 현대 패션 산업은 4차 산업혁명과 함께 AR(Augmented Reality), VR(Virtual Reality), 메타버스(Metaverse) 등의 신기술을 활용한 디지털 패션 산업이 점차로 확대되고 있다. 이에 따라 패션디자인 교육 분야에서도 VR 기술을 활용한 새로운 형태의 패션일러스트레이션이 하나의 새로운 표현 방법으로 관심을 끌고 있다. 최근 들어 패션디자인전공대학 교육 현장에서는 아이패드와 같은 디지털 도구의 활용이 점차로 증가하고 있으며 패션일러스트레이션 작업 과정에서 새로운 디지털 도구에 대한 학생들의 흥미도 지속해서 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 패션 산업에서 상용화와 대중화가 되고 있는 VR 기술을 활용한 패션일러스트레이션을 구현해보고, 아이패드로 완성한 패션일러스트레이션과 비교하여 그 차별화되는 특징을 분석함으로써 새로운 표현 도구로서 VR 기술의 패션일러스트레이션에 활용 가능성 및 제한점을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통하여 VR은 패션디자인의 입체적 측면에서의 구상과 전체적인 연결성을 표현하기 위한 패션일러스트레이션에는 긍정적인 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났으며 아이패드는 구체적이고 섬세한 패션일러스트레이션 표현에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과가 학생들의 흥미와 성취도를 높일 수 있는 패션일러스트레이션 교육에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

역사·문화적 특수성을 지니고 있는 광희문을 중심으로 광희문 주변 지역의 공간 가치를 높이고, 활성화시킬 수 있는 방안을 도출하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 광희문을 거점으로 SWOT 분석을 통해 주변 공간과 문화적 연계 콘텐츠의 특성 및 장·단점을 분석하여 현재 광희문의 공간적 특수성을 조사·분석하였다. 이를 통해, 장소·물리적 특성 및 공간 자원의 잠재성이 고려된 광희문 및 주변지역의 공간 활성화 방안으로 독특한 테마가 부여된 콘텐츠를 도출하고 발전 가능성을 타진해 보고자 하였다. 이에, 콘텐츠 테마는 광희문의 과거 역사·문화적 의미와 가치를 현대적 시각으로 융합하여 '패션예술'로 설정하고 공간 활성화 기본 방향과 전략적인 접근방법을 제시하였다. 광희문 공간 활성화의 구심점 역할을 할 수 있는 공간으로 청구로16의 콘텐츠 개발, 패션예술문화거리 계획, 도시 재생 방법론을 적용한 패션아트호텔을 제안하였다. 또한, 패션예술 콘텐츠의 성공적인 개발을 위해 정책 의사결정 조직 간의 전략적 컨트롤타워 구성 전략을 수립하였다.

This study examines decorative features found in the traditional costume of the Miao, one of the minority groups in China, and adapts them for the development of modern Korean-style fashion designs in order to present visual sample data and to introduce techniques. As for the research method, both literature and visual data are examined: the former includes Miao-related books and theses; the latter, pictures from various documents and real-life data in the possession of Seoul Women's University. The study result is as follows: 1. The basic structure of Miao costume is consist of a Caftan-type upper garment and an accentuated lower garment, pleats skirt although they are decorated luxuriously with various techniques such as delicate embroidery and dyeing. 2. Details and trimmings in modern shapes are developed and presented by adding modern materials to satin, twists, cross-stitch embroidery, stripe patterns, geometrical patchwork, machine pleats and smoking, trimmings of fringe & feather, and the border line decoration of coloration, braids, piping, embroidery, belts tied and wound with colorful threads. 3. Detachable accessaries such as front reinforcement strips, back reinforcement strips, belts, decorative aprons and patchwork skirts are developed and designed by adapting highlighted layered effects. 4. The silver decoration used as an necessary by the Miao is suitable for modern fashion design in futuristic sense. Various techniques and decorative features of Miao costume display their true value all the more in modern fashion stream in which ethnic trends draw much attention.
