복지형 아이디어 지원 플랫폼을 활용한 개발도상국 지원 방안에 관한 연구

  • 주요 선진국에서는 개발도상국을 지원하기 위해 자금, 교육, 의료, 인프라 등 다양한 프로그램이 존재하고 있다. 하지만 개발도상국이 지속적으로 성장하기 위해서는 창의적인 활동의 증가, 사회문제 해결형 혁신 등 실질적인 도움으로 연결될 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구는 복지형 아이디어 지원 플랫폼의 대표적인 모델로써 창조경제타운을 개발도상국으로 확산하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 개발도상국의 창의적인 아이디어가 발현되고 혁신형 창업으로 연결될 수 있는 적용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 개발도상국에서 국민들이 아이디어를 제안하면 선진국의 전문가들이 재능기부 형식으로 온라인 멘토링을 수행하고, 우수한 아이디어의 경우에는 세계은행 등과 협력하여 실제 사업화를 지원할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 성공적인 사업화 지원을 위해서는 언어 번역기, 화상회의 시스템 등이 필요하고, 선진국과 개발도상국 정부와의 협력을 통해 사업화 지원 프로그램이 확산될 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 접근법의 하나로 우리나라에서 성공적으로 운영되고 있는 창조경제타운 모델을 채택하였으며, 글로벌로 확대 시 필요한 요소들을 조사함으로써 지속가능한 선-후진국간 글로벌 혁신 플랫폼의 한 형태를 제안하는데 목적이 있다.

A study on factors influencing the decision of Web-based Learning System (Edunet) use (웹기반 학습 시스템(에듀넷) 활용 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is finding factors affecting the decision of Web-based learning system (Edunet) use and searching for ways to diffuse Edunet use. Based on the diffusion of innovations theory and the results of the previous studies about web-based instruction, seven predictors influencing the decision of Edunet use were extracted. Seven variables as the followings; (1) perceived attributes of innovation (Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity) (2) Innovativeness (3) Self-efficacy (4) Subjective Norm (5) Support. The participants were 315, 5-6th grade elementary school students, and the questionnaire was 20-item with 7-point Likert scales. To analyze the collected data and test the hypothesis, binary logistic regression was employed. The result indicated that the fitness of regression model including seven decision factors was proved. In addition, two factors, subjective norm and support, were identified as the important decision factors of Edunet use.

  • Major advanced countries pursuing accountability for research and development are carrying out gendered innovations by recognizing the importance of sex and gender analysis in science research and technology development. Korea needs to actively promote gendered innovations as a strategy moving from Fast Follower to First Mover. In order to promote gendered innovations in the science, technology and ICT fields, policies of integrating the gender dimension in the process of research from research design to the analysis of research outcomes should be declared and research support measures should be introduced from the proposal evaluation for the gendered innovations. In particular, in order to support the new gendered innovations research systematically in Korea's R & D system, a legal basis must precede. In this study, we propose an amendment to the law related to gender innovation by analyzing the cases in foreign countries.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the factors influencing RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) diffusion. This study has been reviewed various theoretical research relating to innovation diffusion theory and RFID. The model was tested Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) using Smart PLS 2.0 analysis on the sample collected from 73 companies. The result of hypothesis testing is as follows. First, standardization, IS infrastructure influence positively RFID integration. Second, perceived benefits, inter-organizational cooperation, competitive pressure influence positively RFID usage. Third, RFID integration influence positively RFID usage. The results of this study will provide various implications on RFID diffusion.

An Analysis of Non-users of Mobile Healthcare Applications: Based on Diffusion of Innovations Theory (건강 어플리케이션 비이용자에 관한 연구: 혁신확산이론을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of the study is to identify the barriers to using mobile health applications based on the Diffusion of Innovations Theory. The study employed a purposive sampling to recruit college students who were non-adopters or rejecters. The study participants were a total of 44 students, who consist of 32 males and 12 females, and paper-based interviews were conducted. The findings of the study indicated that attributes such as relative advantages, complexity, trialability and observability were not considerable factors of impeding the adoption or continuous use of health applications, whereas relative disadvantages and compatibility were. The study suggests that health application developers and service providers minimize relative disadvantages and enhance compatibility of the innovation with consumers' life styles, rather than try to improve relative advantages and complexity, to more effectively encourage non-adopters to try and maintain using the innovation.

  • In this paper, we report the empirical study results theorizing IPTV user's loyalty formation process. Considering the convergent characteristics ofinnovative media and telecommunication, we employed innovation adoption and diffusion as our theoretical framework for research model development. As the purpose of this research includes verification of detail attributes of IPTV service, we formulated structural model which treats relative advantage as the second order factor, of which incorporates the seven detail attributes as the first order factors. Then, using the data collected from 250 Korean IPTV subscribers, the model is validated and relevant attributes are identified through PLS analysis. The results provide insights for future research on the adoption and diffusion of new digital convergent high-tech services.

  • This study examined perceptions of 109 professors at doctorate-granting universities in the U.S. who have self-archived in Institutional Repositories(IRs), predicated on the Diffusion of Innovations Theory. The majority of the faculty learned about IRs through the contact from IR staff or their presentations. Relating to five characteristics of an innovation, digital preservation and usage statistics of an IR were considered to be its relative advantage. The principle of Open Access(OA) was found to have compatibility with the values that professors ultimately pursued. The trialability of an IR was determined by the fact that IRs were adopted by faculty through the participation of pilot projects. Professors who gained positive and visible results from IR adoption seemed more strongly support the repository. In addition, it is necessary for IRs to provide stable and effective services that support the continued adoption of IRs.

A study on the continuous intention to use for Smartphone based on the innovation diffusion theory: Considered on the loyalty between users of iOS and Android platform (혁신확산이론에 따른 스마트폰 지속사용의도에 관한 연구: 아이폰 사용자와 안드로이드 사용자의 충성도 비교를 고려하여)

  • The purpose of this study was aimed to analyze factors affecting on continuous intention to use of Smartphone based on the innovation diffusion theory. Also, by using the demographic characteristics were compared whether the difference in the loyalty on between user group of iOS and Android platform. Predictor factors were selected innovation, convenience, economic cost, social influence, communication channel, compatibility and complexity suggested on the innovation diffusion theory. Participants of this study were 278 Smartphone users in Busan city and Gyeongnam province in accordance with convenience sampling. IBM SPSS Statistics 19 were employed for descriptive statistics, Smart PLS(partial least squares) was employed for confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis of casual relationship among variables and effect. Analytical results show that all paths except path from complexity to the continuous intention to use and loyalty are significant. The comparison loyalty on between user group of iOS and android platform are significant. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications based on the results.

The Effects of Influentials on Successful and Unsuccessful Diffusion in the Social Network (인터넷 정보확산의 성공과 실패에 미치는 사회적 네트워크 영향자의 영향)

  • In this paper, authors focused on the difference between successful and unsuccessful items in terms of the innovation and imitation parameters of Bass diffusion model. Each item was scraped by members directly from the minihompies they visit. Top 50 items in terms of total number of adoption are classified as successful items and the 50 items whose total number of adoption was just below the average are classified as unsuccessful items. In particular, authors are interested in investigating the role of influentials in the diffusion process. Influentials are defined as those people whose network centrality (Indegree, Outdegree, and Betweeness centrality) was larger than the mean centrality in their social network. Figure 1 shows the plots of number of scraping, cumulative scraping, indegree, outdegree and betweenness of the people who scraped the most popular item among 100 items.
