Over the last several decades, the service sector has experienced the rapid growth and will continue to grow in importance, stature and job creation potential. Productivity and innovation activities in the service sector have come under the spotlight as an important element of national economic development. Despite the spotlight, however, not many studies have conducted to investigate the characteristics of innovation activities in the service sector, compared to the rich literature on the innovation in the manufacturing sector. One of the distinguishing features of service innovation is that innovation activities differ markedly across services. Therefore, this research purposes to investigate the characteristics of service innovation focusing on the differences across service types. Here, we restrict our focus to technical innovation such as product and process innovation. For the purpose of investigation, firstly, the KIS (Korea Innovation Survey) dataset in the service sector was adopted, which includes information about patterns of innovation in the Korean firms that provide service offerings. Then, service typology was developed by two criteria - customize-based and facility-based - on the assumption that the characteristics of service innovation activities will vary according the these two criteria; the classifies services into four groups the patterns of innovation activities were analyzed with respect to innovation inputs, process, and outputs. The research findings indicate that each service group has its own patterns of innovation activities, providing valuable information about the state of affairs in service innovation, thereby are expected to help further study technology innovation activity in the service sector.

세계 IT 서비스산업의 최근 동향을 살펴보면, 2008년 시장규모가 5,259억 달러에 달하며, 이후 매년 6% 내외의 지속적인 성장률을 보일 것이라고 한다. 이는 기업들의 가치사슬의 중심이 기존의 제조업 중심에서 새로운 가치를 창출하는 R&D, 마케팅, 재무 등의 서비스 분야로 옮기는 시장흐름에 따라, IT 서비스산업 역시, 새로운 경제 성장엔진으로서 서비스산업의 중요한 영역으로 자리 매김하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 최근 국내 IT 서비스 기업들은 협소한 시장, 기업들간의 치열한 경쟁으로 성장률이 둔화되는 모습을 보이고 있다. 이에 따라 IT 서비스산업의 기업들은 최근 서비스산업의 성장과 함께 등장한 새로운 '서비스’에 대해 이해하고, 서비스 가치를 극대화시키는 혁신을 이끌기 위해 투자하고 있다. 즉, 단순히 IT 서비스를 기업의 하부구조를 위한 기능으로 이해하였던, 시각에서 벗어나, IT 조직의 상황을 고려하여 기업의 성장을 도모하는 전략으로 IT서비스를 이해하고, 이를 통해 서비스 혁신을 이끌어야 하는 필요성이 지각되고 있는 것이다. 기존 IT 서비스 관련 혁신관점의 연구들을 살펴보면, 기술중심의 시각에서 혁신 수준 또는 특성이 IT 수용성 및 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 설명하는 연구들이 대부분으로, IT 서비스를 실제 서비스의 관점에서 이해하여 혁신과의 관계를 규명하는 실증 연구는 부족한 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 IT 지배구조와 서비스 혁신특성을 통합적으로 고려하여, IT 서비스와 서비스 혁신에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 IT 서비스산업의 발전을 위해 전통적인 기술중심의 시각을 극복하고, 비즈니스 관점에서 서비스 혁신을 이끌 수 있는 접근을 제시 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

기계기술과 산업은 한국의 미래기술과 산업에 있어서 두 가지 의미의 중요성을 갖는다 하나는 미래성장분야의 하나로서 세계 어느 나라를 막론하고 전략육성 산업의 선정 시 반드시 포함되는 분야의 하나이다. 지능형기계, 초정밀기계, 광학응용기계 등 미래 급성장이 예상되는 기술들이 많은 분야이다. 또 하나는 다른 분야의 기술혁신을 뒷받침 해주는 역할을 하는 분야로서 한국이 선진국으로 진입하기 위해서 반드시 갖추어야 하는 분야로서의 중요성이다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라 기계기술과 산업의 현황을 진단해보고, 선진국 수준으로 발전시키기 위한 전략을 제시한다. 한 분야의 발전전략의 수립을 위해서는 먼저 그 분야의 기술적, 경제적 특성을 이해하고, 그 나라에서 현재까지 발전되어온 역사적 상황을 파악해야 한다. 본 고에서는 기계분야의 특성에 있어서 경제에서의 위치, 기술혁신의 실현체로서의 특성, 기술연계효과, 사용자주도 혁신의 중요성 및 기타 다른 기술적 경제적 특성에 대해서 논한다. 기계기술발전의 역사적 특성을 파악하고자 미국, 일본, 독일 등 선진국에서의 기계기술과 산업의 발전과정을 정리한다 이어서 우리나라 기계기술의 발전 과정에 대해서 살펴보면서 현황과 문제점에 대해 논한다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 우리나라 기계기술과 산업의 발전을 위한 전략을 제시한다. 기술혁신 체제의 개선, 중장기적 추진과 기술개발사업들의 개편 등 기술개발사업의 개선, 기술인력 양성제도의 개선, 시험평가 기능의 확충 등을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

Developing new technologies and launching new products require a huge sum of money for Research and Development, and there is also market uncertainty. Comparing to advanced countries' companies, Korea's exporting companies have less investment cost in size for R&D and insufficient technology assets accumulated. Therefore, through the open innovation, they should use external technology and enhance the efficiency of the relatively little R&D investment. This paper draws the factors influencing the innovations of Korea's exporting companies, and then it analyses how each innovation influences export performance. First, innovations are devided into two; closed and open innovation. Multiple regression analysis has been done, considering influence factors of innovation such as company's characteristics factors, research's characteristics factors and products characteristics factors to be independent variables, and export performance to be a dependent variable. It shows that firm size and new products launching period have positive effects on each innovation, but research capability and research performance have positive effects only on closed innovation. And open innovation has positive effects on export performance, but closed innovation doesn't have.

본 연구는 스타트업이라 구분되는 기업의 구성원을 대상으로 그들의 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 요소를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 긍정심리학에서 중요한 변수로 다뤄지는 그릿(Grit)과 스타트업에서 특히 중요시 여겨지는 실책관리문화 변수를 중심으로 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 그릿은 스타트업 구성원의 인내에 대한 노력, 조화열정, 상황적응력의 세 변수로 정의하였으며 실책관리문화와 더불어 스타트업 구성원의 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위해 기술창업 기반 7년 이내 스타트업 재직자를 대상으로 2023년 12월부터 2024년 1월까지 설문조사를 진행해 유효한 305개의 샘플을 확보하였다. 연구모델 분석을 위해 SPSS 24 통계 패키지를 활용하여 그릿과 혁신행동과의 관계 및 실책관리문화와 혁신행동 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 그릿의 3가지 변수인 인내에 대한 노력, 조화열정, 상황적응력은 스타트업 구성원의 혁신행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며 실책관리문화 또한 스타트업 구성원의 혁신행동에 정(+)의 효과를 나타냈다. 하지만 통제변수로 활용된 성별과 연령은 혁신행동에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구는 스타트업에게 매우 중요한 혁신행동에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 규명하고, 스타트업 구성원의 개인적 특성과 문화적 특성이 혁신에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 파악한데 의의가 있다고 하겠다. 본 연구 결과의 의의는 스타트업 혁신행동에 미치는 새로운 변수들을 규명했다는데 있다. 하지만 7년 이내 초기 창업 기업을 대상으로 305명이라는 제한된 표본으로 연구를 진행했다는 점이 향후 스타트업 범주 및 표본 확대를 보완하여 후속 연구의 확장이 필요하다고 판단된다. 또한, 그릿과 실책관리문화 외에 혁신행동에 대한 영향 변수의 규명이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Arguably many studies point out that regional innovation capabilities are accepted as a major source of growth for the sustainable regional economy. Recently, a smart specialisation strategy that should reflect regional characteristics in the policy implementation process of the regional innovation system has been proposed, but empirical studies have only presented limited results. This study attempts to overcome limitations by approaching smart specialisation as a supplementary strategy for existing regional innovation research. To this end, smart specialisation was not an alternative strategy for the regional innovation system, but rather the institutional elements of regional innovation capabilities, and the relationship between regional innovation capabilities and the local economy was analyzed to identify the impact of smart specialisation on the local economy. A study was conducted through a panel model consisting of 16 cities and provinces in Korea and 10 years from 2009-2018, and the FGLS model was finally used through the process of searching for an appropriate panel model. As a result of the study, smart specialisation consisting of industry related variety and non-related variety had a positive effect on the local economy. In addition, other regional innovation capabilities measured by dividing them into base and facilitating factors also had a positive effect on the local economy, reaffirming the results of positive research between existing regional innovation and the local economy. This study is meaningful in that smart specialisation lacking in domestic research was viewed as an institutional element of regional innovation capabilities, and it was measured through regional industry-related variety and non-related variety.

In regard to the growth and development of Innocity from improvements in Innocity settlement environment, this research examines the level of satisfaction of Innocity settlement environment to propose a political implications. We deduced the main cause of settlement environment satisfaction by performing logistic regression on the public institution employees level of satisfaction in respect to 4 Innocity characteristics?six physical properties, three social properties, five facility properties, three economical properties?and three general questions. As a result, the greatest factor of settlement environment was physical properties, such as natural environment and scenery, residential environment, availability of diverse uses in the surrounding area, and access to public transportation. In addition, social characteristics (relationships with neighbors), and facilities (availability of industrial, research and educational facilities) were also significant. This research provided political implications for future Innocity settlement environment improvements despite limiting factors such as residents' perception and limited surveyed sites.

최근 지역 경제주체들의 혁신역량을 극대화할 수 있는 지역혁신체제 구축을 통해 지역의 국제경쟁력 제고가 중요한 이슈가 되고 있으며 이러한 지역혁신의 원동력은 지역에서 성장가능산업의 발굴 및 활성화를 통한 지속적인 성장동인을 제공하는 것이 중요하며 지역 전략산업 및 지연산업 중심의 산학연관의 지역혁신체제 구축이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 지역의 혁신역량 분석을 통한 산학연관의 네트워크를 구축하고 지역산업 육성 및 활성화를 위해 우리나라의 성장동력인 항공산업의 특성화를 통해 지역에서 경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 방안에 대한 연구가 진행되었다.
