Analgesic Effects of Triptolide and N-nitro-L-arginine Methyl Ester in Rat's Temporomandibular Joint Pain Model (흰 쥐의 측두하악관절 통증모델에서 Triptolide와 N-nitro-L-arginine Methyl Ester의 통증조절효과)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate whether intracisternal administrations of triptolide and N-nitro-L-arginine Methyl Ester (L-NAME) are involved in the regulation of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain. The TMJ pain was induced by the injection of 5% formalin ($30{\mu}l$) into TMJ capsule of rats. The pain behavioral responses was recorded the number of grooming or scratching on the left TMJ area for 9 successive 5 minutes intervals. Triptolide and L-NAME were administrated intracisternally 10 minutes before formalin injection. The intra-articular injection of formalin produced a biphasic pattern of pain response (first phase: 0~10 minutes and second phase: 11~45 minutes). The intracisternal administration of triptolide ($1{\mu}g/10{\mu}l$) and L-NAME ($0.1{\mu}g/10{\mu}l$) suppressed the TMJ pain behavior in each experiment. Co-administration of two drugs was shown the enhanced effect than the analgesic effect by single-administration of triptolide ($1{\mu}g/10{\mu}l$). The triptolide could be a useful analgesic agent for the treatment of TMJ pain, and it is expected to reduce the substantial amount of it via co-administration of synthetic chemical compound and natural products.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of employees' knowledge contribution to 'Easysam', the Defense Knowledge Sharing System(DKSS), and provide managers and system designers with implications for enhancing the usage of the DKSS. Although the system seems to be helpful for employees to conduct their tasks by sharing and applying knowledge from the system, use of the system is confined to restricted employees and little empirical, systematic research has been done for this area. Therefore, using the motivation opportunity ability theory of behavior, this study hypothesizes that motivation factors(enjoy helping, reward confirmation), opportunity factor(system accessibility), and ability factor(self-rated expertise, tenure in the field) increase the level of employees' knowledge contribution to the DKSS. This research also includes hypotheses which address the effect of system use voluntariness, a moderator, on the relationship between predictors described above and knowledge provision. Survey results show that the effect of enjoy helping, reward confirmation, self-rated expertise and system accessibility is significant on employees knowledge provision. However, tenure in the field has no influence on its contribution of knowledge to the system. Theoretical and practical implications are provided.

  • "존재하는 사물은 무엇이나 일정한 양으로 존재한다."라는 말이 있다. 계측은 바로 이 양을 결정하는 것이다. 계측 과정 또는 행위는 미리 정해진 표준과 피측정물 사이의 양적인 비교로써 이루어진다. 계측은 여러 가지 사물을 정량적으로 파악함은 물론이고, 자동 제어하기 위한 수단으로서의 방법이나 장치, 더 나아가 처리 등을 포함하는 넓은 의미를 갖고 있다. 따라서 사물의 현상이나 상태를 특징 짓는 양을 정의하거나 선정해서, 그것을 수치로 나타내는 조작은 계측의 일부라고 생각할 수 있다.

Behavior-based Authentication Study By Measuring Cosine Similarity (코사인 유사도 측정을 통한 행위 기반 인증 연구)

  • 사용자 행위 기반 인증 기술은 다른 인증 기술들에 비해서 인증의 인식률을 높이는데 많은 데이터의 장기간 추출이 필요하다. 본 논문은 터치 센서와 자이로스코프를 이용하여 그동안의 행위 기반 인증 연구에서 사용 되었던 행위 특정 데이터들 중에서 핵심적인 최소한의 데이터들만을 사용하였다. 측정한 데이터들의 검증에는 그간 사용자 행위 기반 인증 연구에서 이용되지 않고 문서 검색의 유사도 측정에 사용되었던 코사인 유사도를 사용하였다. 이를 통해 최소한의 특정 데이터와 기준이 되는 데이터의 코사인 유사도 비교 검증만을 통해서도 인증 범위에 적용되는 임계값을 조절하는 방식을 동해서 최초 EER 37.637%에서 최종 EER 1.897%의 높은 검증 성능을 증명하는데 성공하였다.

The Effect of Nonverbal Communication in University Teaching: Moderating Role of Academic Self-Efficacy (대학 강의에서 비언어적 행위의 효과: 학업적 자기효능감의 조절효과)

  • Until now, most of the attention related information and knowledge transmission is on the verbal message provided by educators. But recently, many researchers are emphasizing importance of nonverbal communication behavior in the evaluation of communicator include educators. When nonverbal messages reinforce verbal messages, meaning is conveyed quickly and easily and with increased comprehension. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of professor nonverbal communication on students' academic achievement. In this study, nonverbal communication was divided into the three dimensions of kinesis, proxemics, paralanguage, and physical appearance. It was studied to examine the direct or indirect effects of nonverbal communication on attitude toward the professor and academic achievement. Additionally, it examined the moderating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between attitude toward the professor and academic achievement. The data were collected from 214 college students using an online survey. The results showed that the kinesis, proxemics, and physical appearance, except paralanguage, have significantly positive influence on attitude toward the professor. And the moderating effect of academic self-efficacy has also been founded.

Influences of Continuance Intention and Past Behavior on Active Users' Knowledge Sharing Continuance and Frequency: Naver Knowledge-iN case (지속의도와 과거행위가 핵심 사용자의 지식공유 지속여부 및 빈도에 미치는 효과: 네이버 지식인 사례)

  • Maintaining active users who repeatedly share high-quality knowledge is critical for the success of online Q&A sites. This study suggests two paths that lead to active users' continuous knowledge sharing: 1) elaborated decision process, represented by continuance intention, and 2) automated cognitive process, represented by past behavior. The direct and moderating effects of continuance intention and past behavior were verified by analyzing subjective intention data and objective behavior data of 333 active users of Naver Knowledge-iN. Using Cox proportional hazards regression and negative binomial regression, the influences of continuance intention and past behavior on two types of continuous knowledge sharing were examined. The results showed that only past behavior was significantly influential on knowledge sharing continuance and as to the frequency of knowledge sharing, both continuance intention and past behavior's influences were significant. It was also confirmed that past behavior negatively moderates continuance intention's effect on the frequency of knowledge sharing. In order to maintain active users' continuous knowledge sharing, it is important to habituate knowledge sharing through repetitive knowledge sharing behavior. And in order to increase the frequency of knowledge sharing, in addition to the habituation, appropriate benefits that can increase the continuance intention should be provided.

A Study on the Moderating Role of Hotel Employees' Emotional Labor in the Causal Relationships among Emotional Dissonance, Burnout, and Job Satisfaction (호텔 직원의 감정 부조화, 소진 및 직무만족도의 인과관계에서 감정노동 조절효과 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the moderating effects of employees' emotional labor on the relationships among hotel employees' emotional dissonance, burnout and job satisfaction. The survey was administerd to 377 employees working for deluxe hotels in Korea. The results indicated that the proposed model fit to the data well(${\chi}^2$=307.888, df=51, p<.001, GFI .890, AFGI .833, NFI .931, IFI .942, CFI .942). The finding showed that employees' emotional dissonance had a significantly positive effect on their burnout (${\beta}$=.194; t=3.533; p<.001) and a significantly negative effect on job satisfaction(${\beta}$=-.352; t=-6.906; p<.001). In addition, employees' burnout had a significantly negative effect on their job satisfaction(${\beta}$=-.267; t=-5.261; p<.001). For the moderating effects of employees' emotional labor on the relationship between emotional dissonance and job satisfaction, the results indicated that significant relationships varied to employees' surface acting whereas deep acting did not. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

Mediating Effects of Perceived Stress in the Influence of Obesity Awareness on Health Behavior : A Comparative Study between Korean and Chinese Adults (성인의 비만 관심이 건강행위에 미치는 영향에서 지각된 스트레스의 매개효과에 관한 한중 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effect of perceived stress in the influence of obesity awareness on health behavior, and to verify the moderating effect of nationality between Koreans and Chinese in the influence of obesity awareness on health behavior through perceived stress. Data were collected from August 26 to October 11, 2019, through in-person questionnaire surveys administered to 140 adult participants from a university and general hospital in Seoul, South Korea and 140 adult participants from a university and general hospital in Shenyang, China. Study results revealed that, the obesity awareness of participants had a significant effect on their health behavior, and the mediating effect of perceived stress was significant in the influence of obesity awareness on health behavior. According to nationality, a significant difference was shown between Koreans and Chines in the way obesity awareness directly affected health behavior. However, the indirect effect of obesity awareness on health behavior through perceived stress was not controlled. These results showed that the obesity awareness of Chinese adults had a greater effect on their health behavior than Koreans. In addition, obesity awareness increased perceived stress and decreased positive health behavior in both Koreans and Chinese adults. Therefore, managing the stress caused by obesity is an important factor in increasing positive health behavior.

Exploring the Pre-service Science Teachers' Emotional Experience, Display Rules, and Controlling Strategies During Teaching Practice (교육실습과정에서 나타난 예비과학교사의 감정 경험과 감정 표현 규칙, 조절 전략의 탐색)

  • The goal of the study was to examine pre-service teachers' emotional experiences, especially during student teaching. The following questions guided this study. First, during student teaching, what are the characteristics of emotional experiences of pre-service science teachers? Second, what are used as the emotional rules and strategies by student teacher? In this study, we tracked nine pre-service science teachers over a four-week period of the student teaching. The data sources were lesson observations, interviews, emotional journals, and video-recorded classroom lessons. Results showed that student teachers experienced various 25 different types of emotions which were reported as the primary emotions of Koreans. The main subjects for interaction for positive emotions were students. For negative emotions, students, teachers and student teachers themselves all resulted in such negative emotional experiences. When the student teachers experienced negative emotions, they followed the emotional rule that their emotions should not be expressed in front of the students. Because of this, they tried various strategies for controlling emotions, such as 'understanding students', 'finding the positive side', 'seeing good students', 'ignoring', 'holding back', 'evading', and 'giving up'. Finally, suggestions for teacher education were discussed.
