A Study on the Impact of the App-Book Purchasing Behavior of Smart phone Users in Korea (국내 스마트폰 사용자들의 앱북 구매행위에 미치는 영향요인 연구)

  • In order to research the factors influencing on the intentions for smart phone users to purchase "App-Book" in Korea, the study examines the levels of influences using on an additional variable, "cost", as well as the four key variables(performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions) proposed by Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT; Venkatesh et al., 2003) validation. The result of the research confirms that the hypotheses of UTAUT model variable are generally supported by the information technology and many related previous researches. There is one exception, however, that facilitating conditions do not influence on the App-Book purchasing behavior by smart phone. It is revealed that the "age" and "experience" of the independent variables, as the proposed control variables, are most visible effect of control on the purchase intention and purchase behavior. This study has an academic significance of presenting a new integrated model to perform the research of the similar next App-Book services and purchase behavior related to the acceptance of new media. It also clarifies to the related companies that the usefulness of App-Book, the easiness of use, the cost and the social influence of purchasing App-Book by Outsider's intent. These aspects have practical implications as being presented.

Differential Effects of Distributive and Procedural Justice on MICE Industrial Employee's Job Attitudes (MICE산업종사자들의 직무태도에 대한 분배 및 절차공정성의 차별적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differential effects of distributive and procedural justice on the MICE industrial employee's job attitudes. For the study, data were collected from 303 MICE industrial employees in metropolitan area by self-stated questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The result of this study showed that distributive justice had more important effects on MICE industrial employee's job satisfaction than that of procedural justice, while the procedural justice had influenced more effects on organizational commitment, intent to stay, and organizational citizenship behaviour than that of distributive justice; and that there was no the moderating role of the procedural justice to the MICE industrial employee's job satisfaction and job commitment, while the positive effects of the distributive justice was more strongly related to MICE industrial employee's intent to stay and organizational citizenship behaviour when the procedural justice was high. The theoretical implications of the findings were discussed in terms of two-factor model, cultural model and interaction model, and directions for future research were presented.

The Effect of Leader Emotional Labor on Followers' Work Engagement : Examining the Role of Followers' PsyCap and Quality of LMX (리더의 감정노동이 부하의 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 : 심리적 자본과 상사-부하관계의 효과 연구)

  • Almost all research on emotional labor has focused on how services workers use emotional labor. However, this study examined that leaders' emotional labor influence follower's outcomes. Especially, this study tested how the leader emotional labor influence followers' work engagement and mediating role of PsyCap between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. In addition, this study investigated the quality of LMX as moderator the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. The SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 was used in this study. The results collected from 469 employees in domestic large Telecom and their related companies revealed that leader emotional labor positively influence followers' work engagement and PsyCap. Especially, leader deep acting and surface acting positively influence followers' work engagement, but not display of genuine emotion, and leader deep acting only positively influence followers' PsyCap. Furthermore, followers' PsyCap partially mediated the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. Finally, the quality of LMX as moderator in link between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement showed when followers in high-quality LMX. Implication and suggestion for future study are discussed.

A Study about Impact of Mindfulness on Perceived Factors of Information Technology Acceptance (마음챙김이 정보기술 수용의 인지적 요인에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Mindfulness is the process of actively noticing new things. Today, companies have introduced and run mindfulness programs because the mindfulness has possible applications of productivity and innovation in corporation. However, role of mindfulness has not been clearly investigated in behavior research of Information System. The purpose of this study is to confirm the effects of mindfulness on technology acceptance process. Based on UTAUT Model, we examined how mindfulness in technology acceptance process moderate antecedent factors of acceptance intentions and use behavior. For empirical research, we conducted a survey on acceptance of smart watch of internet of things for employees of companies applying the mindfulness programs. then, we analyzed survey sample in empirical methodologies. Based on the empirical analysis, cognizance of alternative technologies in mindfulness factors increased the impact of performance expectancy on acceptance intention. Novelty seeking in mindfulness factors increased the impact of effort expectancy on acceptance intention. Awareness of local context in mindfulness factors decreased the impact of social influence on acceptance intention. engagement with technology in mindfulness factors increased the impact of facilitating conditions on use behavior. This study suggests academic implications and practical implications based on the results of the research. The implications will help to support and extend the theory of technology acceptance model while providing practical insights for IT acceptance by suggesting ways to utilize mindfulness in corporation.

Effect of Experienced Job Burnout on Individual Performances (번아웃의 경험이 개인성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The present study focuses on the effect of experienced job burnout on individual performances. The objective is to analyse the effectiveness of supportive leadership behavior in response to experienced job burnout among employees. For empirical analysis, data were collected from 482 employees working in a Korean conglomerate. The empirical results indicate that emotional exhaustion and diminished personal accomplishment have a negative impact on job satisfaction, however a positive impact on turnover intention. Supportive leadership is found to moderate the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction. There is no moderation effect between burnout and turnover intention. The current research highlights the fact that supportive leadership can determine job satisfaction in respond to workers' experienced job burnout. The theoretical and managerial implications for overcoming workers' job burnout are discussed.

A Review of Self-Monitoring of Blood Pressure for Self-Management of Hypertension (고혈압 환자의 혈압자가측정에 관한 문헌고찰)

  • 연구목적: 고혈압환자의 효과적인 자가관리 간호중재를 개발하는데 필요한 기초자료로 혈압자가측정(self-monitoring of blood pressure)에 대한 특성, 장점, 범위 및 제한점을 파악한다. 연구방법: 1996년부터 2005년까지 PubMed에 수록된 고혈압환자의 자가관리 방법중 혈압자가측정방법이 포함된 외국의 연구를 중심으로 체계적인 고찰을 실시하였다. 전체 69개 자가관리방법을 적용한 논문 중에서 혈압자가측정이나 가정에서의 혈압측정(home monitoring)에 대한 45개 논문을 선정하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 전반적으로 혈압자가측정 방법은 고혈압환자의 혈압조절을 향상시키는 효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 환자가 혈압을 자가측정한 방법에서 평균 혈압, 수축기 혈압, 맥압이 유의하게 감소한 것으로 보고되었다. 장기적 프로그램에서 혈압조절율이 향상되거나, 이완기혈압의 감소효과도 보고되었다. 혈압자가측정의 기준치는 연구마다 일치하지는 않았지만 135/85mmHg 수준이 정상혈압의 상한수준으로 제시되었다. 일부 연구에서는 가정 내 혈압측정이 24시간혈압측정을 대체하는 방법으로 추천되었다. 보다 정확한 혈압자가측정을 위해서 신뢰성 있는 혈압측정기구의 사용과 정확한 측정방법이 환자들에게 교육될 필요가 있다. 결론: 혈압자가측정은 고혈압환자의 혈압조절에 유용한 방법으로 고찰되었다. 또한 고혈압의 진단, 혈압치료와 고혈압 약물복용 행위를 향상시키는 교육적 효과도 긍정적으로 나타났다. 따라서 고혈압환자를 위한 효과적인 자기조절프로그램에 혈압자가측정법을 포함하는 것이 추천되며, 추후 한국에서 시도된 관련 연구에 관한 문헌고찰의 비교연구가 필요하다.

  • Cerebral palsy, a range of non-progressive syndromes of posture and motor impairment, is a common cause of disability in childhood. Self-injurious behavior(SIB) is deliberate harm to the body without suicidal intend, often involving repetitive actions that cause tissue damage. One of the most common orofacial self-injurious behavior is chewing tongue, lip or oral mucosa. This kind of SIB in children is not common in normal children. High occurrence rates are observered in cases of syndromatic, mentally retarded children, and children with congenital disease. Various methods such as behavior modification, behavior control by drugs, body restraints, application of dental appliance, surgery and extraction of teeth have been suggested to control those self-injurious behavior. Using mouthguard as one of dental applainaces is the most conservative and appropriate method in terms of reducing oral self-injurious habits and protection of tissue. This case report describes a child with cerebral palsy who presented with self-injurious ulceration of lip and buccal mucosa. A modified mouthguard was effective in preventing self-injurious oral trauma in a child with cerebral palsy.

Influences on Health Behaviors Execution and Self Rated Health as Socioeconomic Class by the Age Bracket (연령층별 사회경제적 계층에 따른 건강행위 실천과 주관적 건강수준에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of present study was to observe the path and influencing effects between socioeconomic class (SEC), health practices and self-rated health(SRH) by the age bracket. The subjects were 4,987 adults over 25 years old who participated in the 2008 Korean National Examination Health and Nutrition Survey and could be classified into SEC in terms of the three characteristics: education, income and occupation. Path analysis was conducted with the effects of health behaviors execution on the differences in SRH, and the complex samples analysis executed by chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA. As the result, lower SRH level paralleled with the lower SEC, and more health behaviors had differed by SEC in the younger and middle aged group. The lower SEC, the lower SRH: non-smoking and weight control for younger women and exercise for aged men had indirect effects as parameters. In conclusion, when planning a health promotion program, to select the correct target populations with consideration of the age bracket, gender and SEC and to establish tailored contents fit for each of the population would be important.

A Study on the Factors Affecting User Behavior of Internet Medical Apps (인터넷 의료 애플리케이션 사용 행위에 영향을 미치는 요소에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the recent economic development and the improvement of income level in China, the desire for quality medical services is increasing compared to the past. As an alternative to satisfy these needs, various applications using smart phones and the like are being developed. The new corona that occurred in December 2019 began to show great interest in non-face-to-face telemedicine services using smart phones due to the worldwide spread of the coronavirus. Therefore, in this study, a total of 200 people were surveyed on the top three mobile medical applications in China, and the data of 120 people who actually used medical applications were analyzed based on Venkatesh's UTAUT2 theory. A study was conducted on the intent to use and the factors affecting the in-law behavior. First, it has become clear that the interactive characteristics, expectations for effort, price value, interest in privacy, habits, and promotional conditions have a positive impact on the user's use. Second, it was investigated that the user's intention to use influences the behavior of use, and among the intentions of use, it was found that the mobilization characteristic expectation, hedonistic motivation, price value, habits, and promotion conditions affect the use behavior. Third, a study result was derived that the controlling variables such as gender, age, school age, and annual income do not affect the user's intention to use mobile medical applications as a controlling variable. Finally, due to the nature of mobile devices that use the Internet, various security vulnerabilities exist, and this can cause great damage or personal and social impact. Therefore, for the development of mobile medical services in China, it is necessary to re-establish a research model through comprehensive and in-depth considerations to supplement these problems in the future.

Factors Affecting the Retention Intention of the Emergency Room Nurse to Promote Life Care (응급실 간호사의 라이프케어 증진을 위한 재직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study was to investigate the relationship of job stress, health status, and health promotion behavior, retention intention and to identify the influencing factors on retention intention of nurse in Emergency Room(ER). The subjects were 155 ER nurses working at 15 general hospital in Gwangju, Korea. The data were collected from October 15, 2020 to November 3, 2020. The result, there were negative correlation between job stress and health promotion behavior(r=-0.310, p=<.000), between job stress and retention intention(r=-0.220, p=.006), between health status, and health promotion behavior(r=-0.448, p=<.000), between health status and retention intention(r=-0.296, p=<.000), but there were positive correlation between job stress and health status(r=0.368, p=<.000), between health promotion behavior and retention intention(r=0.229, p=.004). Factors influencing retention intention were fatige and health status with R2 value 22.7%. Considering these results, it seems that important factors determining the retention intention of nurses in ER are Spiritual health status, heavy workload due to job stress, fatigue and social health status by nurse. Therefore, in order to increase the retention intention of nurse in ER, it is a need for strategies to improve the working environment and develop programs to reduce job stress and fatigue through work adjustment, and to maintain and promote health.
