In this world, the interest in the marine leisure-sports, nature friendly oriented, has been increased. The width of leisure activities has became enlarged because of expansion of leisure time and the changes of recognition on the rational management and use of marine resources. Marina ports influence significantly marine leports and this paper reviewed the maria ports status and problems. This Country has strived to develop marina ports in local areas, designing the 1st basic National Plan of Marina Development. We have keen interest in Marina but have no detail strategy and preparation. This paper suggested how marina port shall be developed for the expansion of marine leports and what strategies shall be adopted for the activation of the facilities. After reviewing the previous researches and with the results of questionnaire survey, this paper suggested two types strategies. First on the policy oriented point, it suggested 10 alternatives on the perspectives of development and operation areas. Secondly, it proposed some strategies for the activation of marina ports on the aspects of 4Ps of marketing. This paper theoretically groped the activation schemes with the knowledge and experiences of experts, but it is recommended furthermore some survey on the practical field and user attitude must be progressed.

Recently, research and development of high-value leisure vessels has been carried out in Korea to revitalize the marine leisure industry and tap into the global maritime leisure market. FRP composite materials, which have excellent physical properties and are available for the manufacture of light hulls, are used widely. One of the most important design technologies is to secure structural safety of leisure vessels made from FRP composite materials. In this study, the structural strength was assessed for the design of an 8-meter high-speed planing leisure boat made from FRP composite materials. The design loads to verify the structural safety were calculated according to the rules for the classification of high speed light craft (KR, 2015), and structural analysis was conducted using a finite element model composed of an isotropic shell element, which has equivalent bending rigidity with the FRP sandwich panel. The analysis results were compared with the results of the strength test for fabricated specimens, and all internal structural components are sufficiently satisfied with the structural strength.

One of the words that describe unique features of human beings is "Homo Ludens (Playing Man)". As humans enjoy abundant and prosperous lives and the quality of life is further improved, play is increasingly becoming a central value of human life. As part of play, ocean leisure is getting popular these days, and in turn demands for ocean leisure-related products in Korea, most of which are dependent on foreign markets, are growing. Therefore, it is required that local companies are quick to turn their eyes on the fast developing market. This research aims to help develop a design concept for bodyboard, more suitable for the domestic market, by analyzing products and reflecting customers' needs. The findings of this study are as follows: first, it is desirable that the target of bodyboard in domestic market is young people aged between 14 and 29 and its price ranges from 40,000 to 100,000 won; second, a tube-type bodyboard is appropriate for beaches in Korea mostly with small and gentle waves, as also shown in a survey that over 65% of those surveyed prefer a tube-type bodyboard, and lastly, the CMFF (Color, Material, Form, and Function) strategy was newly developed in this study in order to create new concept bodyboards.

본 연구에서는 요트 산업을 목포시에 적용하기 위하여 목포 시민들을 대상으로 설문 조사하고 시민들의 의식을 분석하였다. 특히 요트 산업 적용에 에 필요한 해양관광, 관광객 확보 방안, 요트산업, 마리나 시설의 위치 등에 관하여 설문하고 그 결과들을 분석하여 마리나입지 선정에 반영하였다.

As the range of marine leisure activity gradually expands to ocean-going, a habitable cruise boat has been getting the limelight. Advanced countries in the marine leisure industry in Europe and North America have already secured their competitiveness in designing and building cruise boats by elegant design, ergonomic structure and fuel efficiency through the adoption of light-weight hull materials. In contrast, mostly small power boats are developed and built in Korea, and GFRP take up the most of hull materials. This study inquired into the design and characteristics of a 50ft-class CFRP that ocean-going is possible. The hull-form of the CFRP cruise boast were analyzed to propose a hull form for the designed ship (MMU-C.B), and based on that, the design model of the MMU-C.B was built. Finally, the MMU-C.B's characteristics of the resistance performance and hull-planing were found by comparative reviews with the results of model tests of GFRP pleasure yachts.

This study analyzed the origin and status of the registration system of water leisure craft to suggest an improvement plan for the ocean leisure industry. To identify the transition of the registration system, related water leisure craft, registration procedures and revised acts from "water leisure safety act", which was established in the early 2000 and enacted since then were examined. To understand the problems raised, the management of the registration system and related other systems were analyzed. The results were as follows. First, the registration system was designed just to check the number of registrations of water leisure craft so it does not provide various and useful information that administrators and registrants want. Second, it is impossible to utilize and reconstruct the information regarding water leisure craft. In addition, the current registration system does not have a data sharing system with the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs so self-governing administrations are not connected to each other or to other electronic government systems. To resolve these problems, the construction of a new registration system is required. The new registration system of water leisure craft should facilitate not only processing registration files and administration work, but also multiple electronic governmental services that provide the water leisure users with useful information and encourage them to learn about their craft management and so on.

The tourism industry is considered as the world largest industry and it is assessed as the most effective way to create employment. In particular, the marine tourism industry such as marine leisure sports, cruise can create high added value so that its significance has been more emphasized. Korea has natural tourist attractions such as more than 3,000 islands, about 12,000km lengths coastline, wide wetlands and beautiful seascape. In addition, the establishment of the five-day workweek and the development of means of transportation make the policy demand of the public for marine tourism increase continuously. However, Korea currently lacks policy and system for revitalizing marine tourism industry as the new growth engine and has not made good use of its retained tourist resource. Accordingly, this study explores the current situation and challenges of Korean marine tourism industry and further analyses the limits of the national legal systems for marine tourism. Lastly, it suggests policy recommendation for promoting marine tourism industry.

By becoming 21st century which run be charactered as highly industrialized society which spreads diversification and individualization, there have been elevation of income level and increase of time for leisure activity by introducing 5 working days system. And this brings out increasing of aquatic leisure activity population and the contents of the leisure becomes very active. Static indoor activity which was the main current of the leisure activity in the past, however, it is now called for outdoor activity accompanied by the society growth and even expands towards that people get into action and experience by their own free will. With this point of view, the aquatic leisure run become a safe activity. But with a rapid growth of aquatic leisure activity, safety concerns become a serious problem. To prevent safety accident, training should be given, safety inspection and registration should be requested, and strong support of system is needed so users can have an insurance for safety accident. These complements are necessary for overall nourishment and management measure to charge in systematical safety for the users.

As a marine leisure industry has being developed and demands for leisure culture have rapidly increased, the needs for services offering marine safety and related information are growing. Accordingly, in the study I developed the contents providing server to support this with ENC agent who presents geographical information of digitalized Electronic Nautical Chart satisfying with the standard(S-57) by International Hydrographic Organization and a web searching agent who builds a database by collecting marine-related information in order to provide a variety of realtime information such as weather, fishing and news. In addition, I designed and embodied network based mobile contents which can be presented on a WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) based portable handset by receiving an ENC and other processed information from server. With the results produced by such experiments, I measured a compressibility corresponding to a image compression format of electronic nautical chart transmitted and analyzed the correlation between increase in packets of requested information and the cost.

In these days many korean people have much interested in oceanic sports and oceanic leisure equipment.. However, the current condition for the marine leisure in korea are not advanced even worse than wnderdeveloped countries.. Recently several suggestion for vitalization on the marine leisure industry and preparations of the laws & the regulations for marine leisure.. This paper suggest the new marina model using ubiquitous sensor network to reduce the risk of the policy and the investment in the filed og marine leisure industry.
