항만경관은 항만의 특징을 드러내는 매력적인 요소로서 항만재개발에 있어 중요한 요소가 되고있다. 최근에는 항만재개발사업에 있어 항만경관의 중요성을 인식하고 항만 고유의 특색을 살린 수변경관계획 수립을 통해 수변경관을 개선함으로서 사람들이 모이는 매력적인 항만으로 변모하고자 한다. 도심의 친수공간으로서 잠재력이 큰 부산남항은 다양한 수변공간계획 및 개발사업이 추진되고 있지만 관련 기존 항만개발사업은 기능성과 경제성에 초점이 맞추어져 있어 수변경관에 대한 고려가 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 부산남항의 경관을 개선하고 매력적인 항만으로 변모하기 위한 수변경관계획 수립을 하기 위해 기초자료 수집을 목적으로 부산남항을 7개 지구로 구분하고 각 지구의 수변경관(색채, 랜드마크, 야간경관) 현황을 조사하였으며, 조사결과를 토대로 지구별 수변경관의 문제점을 분석하고 개선대책을 제시하였다.

세계적 물류환경의 변화와 항만에 대한 정부 및 시민의 인식변화에 따라 항만개발에 있어 기존의 물류 중심적 기능뿐만 아니라 경관적인 측면에서의 검토가 중요한 요소로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문은 개발이 진행되고 있는 부산신항만을 중심으로 항만경관의 중요요소인 친수공간, 녹지, 랜드마크, 색채, 야간경관에 대하여 북컨테이너부두와 남컨테이너부두로 지역을 구분하여 현황조사를 실시하였으며 이를 통하여 부산신항만경관의 문제점을 도출하고 각 경관요소별 개선방안 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시된 개선방안은 개발이 진행되고 있는 부산신항의 경관개선을 유도하고 향후 미항으로서의 개발을 위한 기초자료로써 그 가치가 있다고 하겠다.

본 연구에서는 부산 북항재개발지역 항만시설물을 대상으로 친수성과 경관향상을 위해 경관계획을 실시하였다. 경관수로를 중심으로 방파제, 호안, 등대 등 항만시설물을 대상으로 시민에게 열린 친수공간을 계획하고 주변 녹지 및 수역과 조화되는 경관계획을 실시하였다.

항만은 해륙교통의 요충지로서 그리고 국토의 균형적인 발전과 지역진흥의 기반으로서 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있지만 노후항만시설 및 쇠퇴공간에 대한 유지 및 보수가 효과적으로 이루어지지 않아 기능의 상실은 물론 재해와 우범화의 대상이 될 수 있다. 특히, 항만의 활성화를 위해 중요한 부분인 항만고유의 기능인 생산 및 물류의 지원과 아울러 소득수준 향상에 따른 풍부한 생활공간으로의 환경 친화적인 정비와 항만재개발이 필요하며, 미래지향적 종합항만공간으로의 기능전환이 이루어지고 있다. 국내 최초로 대규모 항만재개발이 추진되고 있는 부산북항재개발 사업에서도 항만도시의 경쟁력을 위해 국가차원에서의 경관계획을 반영하고 있으며, 해양도시 이미지 개선 및 가치향상을 위한 노력의 일환으로 고유의 자연, 역사, 문화적 자원과 함께 각종시설, 건축물, 상징물, 생태 녹지의 상황과 특성에 맞는 경관조성에 노력을 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산북항재개발 사업에 대한 경관색채계획 사례분석을 통해 경관조성방안에 대해 향후발전방향에 대한 기초자료로 활용 할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

부산항대교는 부산 남구 감만동과 영도구 청학동을 잇는 총 길이 3,368m 규모의 국내 최장 강합성 사장교로 5월 22일 개통하였다. 특히 야간에는 경관조명 등 '빛의 연주'라는 주제로 화려한 볼거리를 구성하여 '부산 해상순환도로'를 활용한 새로운 관광명소로 운영할 계획이다. 그러나 부산북항 통항 선박의 경우 화려한 조명 및 부산항 배경광 등으로 인해 선박통항 시 위험성이 높아질 것으로 우려되며, 이번 연구를 통하여 부산항대교 경관조명에 따른 부산북항 도등 기능검토 및 부산북항 선박통항안전성에 관한 검토를 하고자 한다. 실선박을 이용한 현장조사를 통하여 현재 설계중인 부산항 도등의 기능을 재검토하고, 부산항대교 경관조명 및 부산북항 배경광에 따른 선박 통항 안전성을 검토한다.

This is a first and basic study for making Busan port more attractive. The study is intended to clear up the situation and problems of landscape of Busan port area from the viewpoint of landscape experts, citizen and visitors. To reach the goal an attitude comparative study has been conducted using a same questionnaire between landscape experts working in Busan city, Busan citizen and visitors to Busan port area. In questionnaire, firstly the situation of the whole landscape of Busan port area has been asked. The contents of questions on the situation of port landscape are satisfaction about port landscape, harmony between cityscape and portscape, images of portscape, effects of 25 portscape elements on portscape, problems of portscape, and ways of improving portscape. Secondly, each respondent has given answers freely on how to make Busan port area more attractive. As a result of this study there are several important differences of attitudes towards Busan portscape between experts, citizen and visitors. Especially there are some distinctive differences between attitudes of experts and citizen but the attitudes of citizen are similar to those of visitors. At the end of the study some proposals for making an improvement of Busan port landscape have been suggested on the basis of the results of this attitude comparative study.

This study was to analyze the visual preference of the port landscapes for North port in Busan. Preference related variables came from Semantic Differential(SD) method and then were conducted by the factor analysis. Multiple regression was done for the relationship between the preference and factors. The result found 4 factors, including dynamics, stability, pleasantness and healthiness. Much importance was placed on dynamics among them. Therefore, building port landscapes and their image attracting viewers should consider dynamics in terms of port landscape plan and user attraction development for visual quality management.

This study is to propose guidelines on waterfront landscape planning for Busan North Port redevelopment area. In Korea, Busan North Port redevelopment project is the first one which aims to make old port area into citizen-friendly waterfront. It is expected that many ports will be redeveloped soon after this urban waterfront remaking project. This is the basic research to lay groundwork for waterfront landscape planning at port redevelopment area. We analyze good examples of genera/landscape plans for port redevelopment area through case studies and suggest the problems and important elements for making landscape plan of Busan North Port area. Also we propose guidelines for making waterfront landscape plan of the redevelopment area at Busan North Port.

본 연구는 해양관광 매력물로서 마리나를 연구대상으로 하여 마리나 경관디자인이 이미지에 미치는 영향에 대해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 마리나를 비롯한 해안경관의 경관디자인에 관한 해당 지방자치단체나 기초지방자치단체의 경관조례 제정시 구체적인 기본방향을 제시할 것으로 사료된다.
