A Case Study on Urban Regeneration Projects for Declined Industrial Districts in Downtown Area (도심 노후산업지구 도시재생사업 사례연구)

  • It is needed to regenerate declined industrial districts in downtown area through to invite new industry and to improve urban environment. The purpose of this paper was to make suggestions on the urban regeneration for the districts. I have taken a literature research and a site analysis with cases of 'the South Lake Union' in Seattle and 'Pearl District' in Portland, USA. The result of the analysis was as follows: (1) The land use was changed to mixed use of business-commerce-recreation. The building use was changed to facilities for work, play and live. (2) Infrastructures were improved for user oriented facilities such as pedestrian friendly street, public parks & open spaces, public transportation system, and life supporting facilities. (3) The place identity was enhanced through the preservation of urban structure-tissues, renovation of existing buildings, and preservation of historical heritages.

  • The urban form of Korean cities significantly changed in the late Chosun dynasty. The influence of commercial development was the main cause of these changes. Commerce became a important function of existing cities, and the new type of commercial towns emerged at the important spots of traffic routes. In both cases streets became dominant element of urban form. Mainly commercial buildings aggregated along the streets, and to obtain higher land use intensity shape of lots became narrow and deep. Koyang(高陽) shows the most significant example of this new type of lot and lot pattern. Approximately 30 narrow and deep type of lots lined on each side of street forming about 390 meters long linear commercial town. Similar examples were found at the outside of south gate of Suwon(水原), Nuwon(樓院), and Pangyo(板橋).

  • 건축물 내 외벽에 주로 사용되는 건축용 자재 중 샌드위치 패널은 양면으로 도장한 철판 사이에 심재로 단열재를 넣어 구성된 합성복합자재이다. 샌드위치 패널의 사용범위는 창고시설 및 공업용 건축 등의 용도로 많이 사용되고 있으며, 최근에는 시공에 따른 이점으로 주택 및 상업용등으로 널리 확대되어 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 화재초기의 연기밀도는 인명 대피 시 시야확보에 있어 중요한 역할을 하기에 현재 국내에서 사용되는 건축용 외장재를 용도별로 선정하여 시간에 따른 연기밀도의 값을 구하고 용도에 따른 화재 연기의 확산 정도를 예측하는데 목적을 두었다.

  • Polyvinylchloride(PVC)는 1838년 Regnault에 의해 처음으로 합성된 고분자로 1920년대 후반부터 섬유로 이용하기 위한 많은 연구가 시도되었으나, 상업적 규모로 제조되기 시작한 것은 1942년경부터였다[l]. 현재, PVC는 건축자재용 파이프, 필름 등의 포장재, 가구 및 수송자재, 자동차 내장재 등의 다양한 용도로 사용되어지고 있으나, 다른 폴리머에 비해 열안정성이 낮아 분해시 HCl 외에도 benzene, naphthalene, toluene과 다른 alkylated benzene이 방출되어 유독성과 금형 및 기기의 부식에 있어서 문제가 되고 있다[2].   • 현재 증강현실은 산업, 상업, 게임, 의료, 제조, 모바일, 건축뿐만아니라 교육까지 매우 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 증강현실을 위한 라이브러리인 ARToolkit을 이용하여 Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) 방법을 적용한 유체 시뮬레이션을 증강현실에 적용하였다. 유체 시뮬레이션을 증강현실로 구현함으로써 OpenGL로만 구현하였을 때보다 유체 시뮬레이션의 흐름을 보다 쉽게 파악 할 수 있다.

  • In these days, open signboard system is controlled by administrative policy and law, but there is no consideration for different types of building. As such, this study aims to propose planning criteria for streetside commercial buildings, such as elevation and mass design of buildings, layout of signboard attached to the building elevation with consideration for streetscape. In mass planning for streetside commercial buildings, the building type with front open space keeps lower open signboard density than the building type directly leading to the street. It is desirable that open signboard of lower floor part is attached by a horizontal type, open signboard of low medium floor part by a projected vertical type, open signboard of high medium floor part and roof part with a minumum attachment of open signboard. As for elevation planning relative to open signboard, it is desirable that an irregular wall type is more useful than a regular wall type to control open signboard. And in all cases, horizontal element facade has a handicap to control the quantity of signboard. If the building has a corner, the piloti should be used in the corner of lower story for smooth circulation of pedestrians and emphasizing the transparency of elevation. Specially, in the case of a round corner, the corner should be emphasized by the composition of high transparent mass.

  • Currently, image of floating architecture has been positively improved based on the normalization of a domestic representative floating building 'Some Sevit'. Features of the floating architecture are as follows: special experience (29.9%)> landmark (27.6%)> enjoyment of marine culture (21.5%)> center for tourism and regional development (16.0%)> eco-friendly space solving global warming (4.8%). Floating building has a distinctive image and at the same time offers a unique spatial experience to the public. Therefore, space design marketing of floating building is a communication process to exchange its spatial identity and image between the local government and the public, the corporation and customers. It is essential for the effective space design marketing that the spatial demands should be reflected into its program such as commercial, cultural and marina facilities. The unification of project leader and operator is also important. The transformed conditions would help the construction market to be active in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the 'Modern Architecture Space' represented in Korean melodrama films of the late 1950s. It is assumed that popular films reflect the residential culture, architectural spaces and human activities of those days. For the analysis, a pool of 5 Korean melodramas of the late 1950s was constructed. In these melodramas, the modern architectural spaces were represented as the following: 1) The modern-style residential spaces were emphasized to reflect the interest and longing of the public for western lifestyle. 2) The western non-residential spaces such as work spaces and commercial spaces were emphasized, especially its interior design of western image.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the color situation of buildings on Urban Street, through the color image evaluation to research primary factors have an effect on color image preferences. A scope of this study is district of Sang Mu in Gwangju Metropolitan City. A method of study put out evaluation model after BIB test by photography, spot color. And performed Factorial Design, Multiple Regression Analysis through SD questionnaire. The result of this study show that color situation exceedingly used YR predominates, support, stress color, in the second place used predominate, support color is B, stress color is R. Luminosity showed middle luminosity 4.1~7.0, low freshness distribution. Color image was evaluated modern and cold image and appeared affirmative aspect clean, order, neat image and showed negative aspect stiff, flat image. And 'comfortableness', 'unification' had an effect on color image preferences The result of this study showed that color plan need to improve comfortableness, unification bring control into line color at building color image of urban street.

레저용 플로팅건축물 설계를 위한 국내 마리나클럽 현황 및 공간구성에 대한 연구

  • 국내 해양레포츠 수요는 지속적인 증가세이며, 한국해양수산개발원은 2015년 국내 요트수요 22,000척에 달할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 이에 따른 마리나 및 마리나클럽 공간의 확충도 필요하다. 현재 국내 마리나는 수적으로 한정된 상태로 서울마리나, 아라마리나, 전곡마리나, 수영마리나 등이 대표적인 시설이다. 마리나 공간은 계류시설, 클럽하우스, 보트이동시설, 수리소 및 보관창고, 세척공간 및 각종 지원시설, 복합시설로 구성되며, 마리나클럽은 그 중심 공간이다. 국내 마리나클럽은 식음을 위한 상업공간의 면적이 큰 비율을 차지하고 있다. 전반적으로 마리나는 육지에서 강이나 바다로의 조망, 수면에서 랜드마크 효과 극대화하는 공간 디자인을 추구한다.
