Study of the effect of cleaning the intake manifold on common rail diesel engine and exhaust gases (커먼레일 디젤엔진의 흡기 매니폴더 클리닝이 배기가스에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Owing to highly developed industries and the use of fossil fuels, environmental problems becoming becoming pressing issues globally. Therefore, a study of automobile exhaust is urgently needed. Generally, air is sucked into the engine through the intake manifold. The aims of this study were to reduce the exhaust from used cars and increase the output by removing carbon deposits, which are considered a reason for the increasing exhaust and reduction of output, and the reduction of exhaust, variation of output and stability of idle speed were analyzed. The formation of carbon deposits within the suction manifold was investigated through a test device (KD147). In the intake manifold, the exhaust cleaning effect was confirmed.

  • 현시대에 자율주행 기술이 자동차를 단순 이동수단에서 이동성을 확보한 생활공간으로 자동차의 근본적인 개념을 변화시켜 새로운 산업 패러다임적 가치뿐 아니라, 사회 경제적 변혁을 예고하고 있다. 이미 전 세계적인 기업들은 자율주행 시스템을 구축하고 개발하여 실제 생활에서 활용도 하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 상용화를 하기 위해선 아직 법/제도의 부재, 안정성, 가격 등 여러부분에서 문제점들을 극복해야한다. 본 과제인 라인트레이서와 GPS를 활용한 자율주행시스템이 목적지를 지정하면 자율적으로 길이나 도로를 따라 이동하면서 장애물을 피해가게 만들어 안정성을 확보하고 이동하는 시간에 개인 여가 시간이나 생산적인 활동을 할수 있게 만들어 삶의 질 개선에 기여할 것이다. 이러한 기술들을 적극 활용하여 목적지를 설정하면 자율주행 하는 자동차로 설정하였고, 장애물 감지와 현재 방향 감지를 추가하였다. 장애물 감지와 방향 그리고 위치를 수신받기 위해 5개의 센서를 활용하였고 한번에 구동을 시키기 위해 센서 쉴드를 활용하여 기능을 확장 시켰다.

  • 산업의 발전과 경제성장을 바탕으로 대한민국의 자동차 등록수는 매년 꾸준한 증가세를 보이고 있다. 이와 더불어 자동차 사고 또한 급격히 증가하고 있다. 대한민국은 OECD회원국중 교통사고 발생건수가 높은 편이고 사망자수 또한 상위에 랭크되어 있다. 이러한 사망자 수는 각 나라별 교통사고 발생건수 대비 사망자수와 비교시 높은 사망률을 보이고 있다. 또한 자동차 충돌 사고에서 빈번히 발생되는 운전자의 의식불명에 따른 초기 응급조치의 미흡, 뺑소니 또는 사고 후 방치되는 상황을 방지하기 위해 차량용 블랙박스와 사고발생 통보 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 가속도센서를 이용하여 사고 발생시 충격 임계점을 계산한 후 사고 발생을 블루투스를 이용하여 스마트폰으로 전송한다, 또한, 교통사고 발생 후 환자의 응급 후송 및 2차 교통사고를 방지하기 위한 시스템의 필요성에 따라 블랙박스를 접목한 차량용 응급상황 감지 및 통보 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 최근 자동차의 고속경향화 추세는 많은 진전을 보고 있으며 또 앞으로도 많은 연구와 노력이 경주되어야 하리라고 본다. 그 가운데 하나로 스프링의 경량화는 대략 다음과 같은 3방향에서 연구되고 있다. 1) 복합재료, 즉 GFRP(carbon fiber reinforced plastics), 나아가서는 BFRP(born fiber reinforced plastics)의 탄선과 경량성을 이용한 스프링. 2) 형상, 즉 구조적인 면에서 스프링소재를 후판으로 사용함으로서, 다매물에서 단매 또는 소수 매의 거물곡선 스피링(parabolic taper spring)으로의 변진. 3) 고응력 사용, 즉 종래의 스프링량보다 높은 탄성을 가진 재료로써 스프링 응력을 톺게 사용할 수 있는 강종의 개발 등이다. 특히 3)의 탄성한을 \ulcorner이는 문제는 2)의 후재화와 더불어 열처리성, 가공성 등이 문제가 되어 이에 따라 신강종으로서의 변천을 강요하게 된다. 그러므로 국제경쟁력을 강화하기 위하여 각국 들이 활발하게 연구 및 개발을 추진하고 있는 현상이다. 우리나라의 경우 현재 제작기술은 어느 정동 많이 축적되고 있으나, 아직 R&D면에서는 점진적으로 추진되고 있다. 이와 같은 실정에서 자동차산업의 국제화와 더불어 종래 사용된 스프링강재의 재검토가 우리나라에서도 긴급히 필 요하게 되었따. 그 예로서 KS SPS5(JIS SUP9)의 강종이 종래 일본에서 자동차용스프링의 대 종을 이루고 있던것이 최근에는 SUP9A로 전환되고 있다. 이것은 SUP9A는 SUP9보다 기계적 성질이 우수하며, 또한 자동차분야의 세계제일위인 미국의 SAE5160재와 일지되고 있다. 그러므로 국제화 경향과 더불어 SUP9종은 SUP9A로 전환되고 있으므로서 우리 나라의 경우에도 자동차 스프링의 수출용은물론이고, 국내용에도 SUP9A에 해당하는 규격이 제정되고, 또한 빠른 전환이 필요하다고 본다. 이와 같은 국제적인 추세는 SUP6을 SUP7H종으로 더욱 향상된 것이 실용 화되고 있다. 아래에서 이에 대한 기계적 특성을 중심으로 검토키로 한다.

  • The glass has been used continuously since ancient period up to the present day. The smart glass industry in which the advanced technology is added is developing. The life cycle of the smart glass is faster than traditional glass. Therefore, the basic and core technology development is needed for recycling of smart glass according to the replace period. Among the smart glass the recycling development of the automobile industry is the most needed areas. At the end of life of the automobile, the amount of the smart glass is expected to be over 23,000 tons per year. In this paper, the current status of domestic Korean automobile glass has been comprehensively investigated. Finally, Korean domestic smart glass recycling technology is also briefly introduced.

  • Beyond the millennium industrial development affects all of our life, and the growth of the automobile among them provides us with convenience of the living. One, however, was regarded as important to recognize the safety of the parking rather today than any past, getting together with the increasing auto population into the popularization gradually. It was needed to develope an active system and safety equipment in order to protect against an accident because there were so many accidents during the parking about which one felt relief. The objectives of this study was to develop a supporting structure with high static friction, adapt to various road environments, such as an unpaved road, a wet paved road, controling an angle, considering a portable and moveable device in order to prevent an accident during parking. As it mentioned above, the novel supporting structure had four strengths rather than a previous supporting structure, a practical new design (1998 084336 B60C) The implication of the study was the inspiration from warning of the parking accident almost 10 % of the total traffic accident in Korea, tries to find a solution to a problem in order to decrease the parking accident, in addition, makes it regulation ,and it was implied to the orientation about the popularization and the practical use of the new supporting structure which was developed

The Effects of Service Quality on Customer's Loyalty in Automotive Parts Distribution Industry (자동차부품 유통기업의 서비스품질이 고객충성에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Automotive parts distribution industry focused on increasing sales by product quality until early 2010, but as competition has recently intensified, each company has become interested in core values such as customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty. Therefore, effect of customer-oriented service mindset should be analyzed for the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty in this industry. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 342 distributors. Structural equation models were analyzed using AMOS 23.0. Empirical results show service quality has positive effects on customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction and trust mediate between service quality and customer loyalty. The service quality became a key factor to elicit customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty. Following studies, it is expected to enhance service quality focusing on extending region coverages.

  • Thermoplastic composite is introduced to design an automotive door impact beam, and the manufacturing process is demonstrated. The safety regulation for vehicles has been steadily tightened, and weight-reduction has become a mandatory factor in the automotive industry. Hence, both high-performance and lightweight are demanded for automotive components. The aim of the present study is to develop an automotive door impact beam using fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites to reduce the weight of the impact beam while increasing its mechanical performance. A new production method which combines continuous fiber-reinforced composite and LFT(Long Fiber-reinforced Thermoplastic) is implemented by using insert injection molding process. The mechanical performance of the composite impact beam was evaluated using 3-point bending tests. Thermoplastic composite will expand its application range to various automotive components due to its light-weight design capability and high productivity.

Analysis of Auditory Information Types in Vehicle based on User Experience of Hearing Impaired Drivers (청각장애 운전자의 사용자경험에 기반한 자동차 내 청각정보 유형 분석)

  • The auditory information is used for urgent notification or warning in vehicle because it is not restricted by the direction compared to the visual. However, since the hearing impaired drivers cannot recognize sound signal, various methods of visualizing the auditory information have been attempted to replace it. When visualizing auditory information, only important information should be selected and provided to prevent cognitive overload concentrated on the vision. For this purpose, analysis of the type of auditory information in vehicle should be given in advance. In this study, the types of auditory information in vehicle were analyzed based on the user experience of hearing impaired drivers. Through the observation of the driving behavior of hearing impaired drivers, 33 auditory informations experienced in vehicle were collected. The collected auditory informations were classified into 12 groups through open card sorting by an expert group, and the types of auditory information in vehicle consisting of four levels were presented through a relative comparison of importance between groups. The presented type of auditory information in vehicle can be used as a guideline for selecting important information when the auditory information is converted into visual or tactile. This study is meaningful in that the user experience analysis was conducted by observing actual driving in daily life of hearing impaired drivers.

  • Owing to the rapid increase of the number of automobiles, the traffic is being heavily crippled as time goes by. To provide drivers with better safety and convenience, a variety of CNSs(Car Navigation System) are being installed more and more specially for the vehicles which are produced in recent days. As the CNS has gained the public popularity, it has been playing a role as a component of the multimedia system in a vehicle in addition to providing the capability of route guidance service. It is, therefore, now recognized as an important unit of the vehicle interior system. As the situation has been changed as formerly described, it is necessary that not only the functions but also the usability and exterior features are to be designed to suit customers' tastes. This paper is an attempt to find out what the major sensibility factors which customers want as far as a CNS is concerned are. Because these factors can differ from a vehicle type to another that customers prefer, the analysis is based on the vehicle preference. It is proved that MDS(Multi Dimensional Scaling) is an effective method to analyze the sensibility factors for the different types of vehicles. The result shows that for the people who prefer the sedan-type vehicles, luxuriousness, harmoniousness, and texture are major factors. For people who like sports car, faminism, salience, and dynamics are major factors. For people who prefer SUV's(Sports Utility Vehicle) or MPV's(Multi Purpose Vehicle), solidity, dynamics, and convenience are important.
