  • e-Learning 교육관리시스템은 다양한 교육 정보와 평가를 바탕으로 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 학습자의 학습 동기와 평가 성취도를 높이기 위한 연구와 기술들이 많이 적용되었다. 그러나 대부분의 교육관리시스템은 동일한 학습 내용을 일방적으로 제공하며, 학습 영역에 맞는 난이도별 문제를 추출해 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자의 사전진단평가와 설문조사를 바탕으로 하여 수준을 결정하고, 그에 따른 학습 영역의 내용과 문제를 난이도별 문항수를 적용, 추출하여 학습 동기와 학습 성취도를 극대화할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 본 연구의 시스템은 학습자 수준에 따른 난이도별 문항수 비율을 비례하게 적용하여 흥미도를 최대화하여, 학습 내용과 문제를 재사용하여 피드백 학습을 할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에서 정규 수업과 연계하여 학습자들의 수준별 맞춤형 학습 활동을 별도로 진행할 경우, 학습자들의 학습 수준을 평가하여 수준별 팀 구성을 하게 되는데 학습 수준을 평가하기 위해 프로그래밍 작성 능력과 같은 학습실력 이외에 학습 의욕이나 도전 정신 등 다른 요소들을 함께 반영하여 팀 구성을 하게 되면 어떤 학습 효과를 거둘 수 있는지에 대해 연구해보고자 한다.

  • This study is design and implementation of diagnosis module using item response theory to assess level of student's knowledge in web-based instruction systems. Item response theory uses responses to items on a test or survey questionnaire to simultaneously locate both the items on the latent trait defined by the set of items while simultaneously scaling each item on the very same dimension. Existing method of measurement in web-based instruction system provided dichromatic learning after to be assess just with the total scores of exam. This measurement has an error that do not consider the level of student's knowledge. Moreover, this method can't perform an exact diagnosis of student knowledge and make student modeling to construct intelligent tutoring system. In this study, we present that design and implement a diagnosis module using item response theory to assess level of student's knowledge in web-based instruction systems

  • The e-learning system in which the learning is carried out by predefined procedures cannot offer proper learning suitable to the capability of individual learner. To solve this problem, SCORM sequencing can be used to define various learning procedures according to the capabilities of learners. Currently the sequencing is designed by teachers or learning contents producers to regularize the learning program. However, the predefined sequencing may not reflect the characteristics of the learning group. If inappropriate sequencing is designed it may cause the unnecessary repetition of learning. In this paper, we propose an automated evaluation system in which dynamic sequencing is applied. The dynamic sequencing reflects the evaluation results to the standard scores used by sequencing. By changing the standard scores, the sequencing changes dynamically according to the evaluation results of a learning group. Through several experiments, we verified that the proposed learning system that uses the dynamic sequencing is effective for providing the proper learning procedures suitable to the capabilities of learners.

The Effect of Image Realism and Learner's Expertise on Persona Effect of Pedagogical Agent (이미지의 사실성과 학습자의 전문성이 학습용 에이전트의 의인화 효과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to test the effect of pedagogical agent realism and expertise on persona effect. There were two perspectives of the pedagogical agents' social interaction. Self-identification hypothesis argues that complexity of agent image is better to increase social interaction. Subjective identification insists that simplified image is more helpful to facilitate social interaction. However, from the cognitive load theory perspective, learners' expertise can be a major factor to determine persona effect. Sixty-eight college students (male=19 and female=49) participated. The independent variables were the degree of realism of pedagogical agent (detailed vs. simplified image) and the expertise (high prior knowledge group vs. low prior knowledge group). The dependant variables were comprehension test and the agent persona instrument (API). There was no significant difference in comprehension test score; however, there were significant interaction effect on the most constructs of API: 1) facilitating of learning, 2) credible, and 3) human-like. The follow-up analysis of simple main effect revealed that high expertise group showed significantly higher perception of the three construct with high realism of pedagogical agent. The results of study show that learners' expertise plays a key role of perception of persona effect.

  • A lot of learning systems are applying and verify evaluating the item difficulty to increase learner's learning effect. But most of this methods ware calculated the item difficulty when it analyze the learning result before or after learning. So, it is hard to support learning contents with changing item difficulty during learning to learner. In this research, we proposed the method that system can support learning contents to next learning to fit leaner's level immediately as apply to calculate item difficulty during the proceed learning. Through this method, learner could supported learning contents by calculated difficulty through pre-test and it caused this method was helped learner to increase learning effect.

  • 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 학습은 학습자 개개인의 학습 수준에 따라 맞춤형 학습으로 진행될 때 학습 효과가 크다. 본 연구에서는 연구자에 의해 다년간 다양한 방법으로 시도되었던 학습자의 수준별 맞춤형 학습 유형들을 소개하고 각 학습 유형들이 학습에 참여한 학습자들의 취업률에 어떤 영향을 미쳤는지를 분석해보고자 하였다.

  • This paper proposes an adaptive tutoring system that provides learning materials dynamically according to the learners' teaming character and ability. Our system, in which a learning phase and a test phase are linked together, supports the personalized instruction-learning by providing the teaming materials by level in the learning phase according to the teaming ability estimated in the test phase. We design and implement a tutoring system consisted of an evaluation component and a learning component. An evaluation component uses a computerized adaptive test(CAT) based on item response theory to evaluate learners' ability while a learning component employs fuzzy level set theory so that teaming contents are provided to learners according to learners' level.

  • In this paper, WBI tool is designed and implemented to meet the level teaming requirements. The system is composed of management part for teacher and user part for students. The management part supports the teacher to upload the lecture notes and the testing sheets, and to evaluate the testing results. The students can study the lecture notes and examine the online tests based on their teaming level. The students can evaluate their achievement by themselves after test and can study deep learning or supplementary learning. By applying the level teaming concept, the implemented can provide the interest to the students and enhance the degree of achievement.

  • 코로나 팬더믹의 장기화에 따른 비대면 환경에서 대면 수업의 실재감을 제공하는 다양한 교수·학습 방법에 대한 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 실제 수업 현장에서는 대면수업과 다른 환경에서 학습자의 수준과 특성에 맞는 수업 설계의 필요성 또한 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 플립러닝을 기반으로 한 비대면 프로그래밍 수업에서 학업성취도에 따른 학습 참여 수준과 실재감의 차이를 분석하여, 맞춤형 학습역량 강화를 위한 교수 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 강의 동영상 수업과 상호작용을 포함한 플립러닝 기반 실시간 수업을 혼합하여 수업한 후 설문을 통해 학업성취도에 따른 학습자들의 학습 참여 수준, 교수 실재감과 학습 실재감을 조사한 결과, 학업성취도 가장 높은 학습자일수록 학습 참여도 높고, 다음 수준의 학습자들이 교수 실재감과 학습 실재감은 가장 높은 것으로 조사·분석되었다. 이를 통해 학업성취도에 기반하여 학습자별 맞춤형 교수방안을 제시하였다.
