The survey on the awareness towards academic misconduct required in the Convergence era : Focusing on Nursing Students (융복합시대에서 요구되는 학습윤리인식 실태조사: 간호대학생을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness towards academic misconduct in nursing students. A descriptive survey was performed from November to December in 2015 with self-reporting questionnaires for awareness toward academic misconduct. Participants were 355 nursing students who was in attendance at department of nursing in three university. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. As a result of the study, nursing students' average point of awareness towards academic misconduct is about 1.71 out of 4. The study showed that irresponsibility on the class was the lowest level, on the other hand, disrespectful behavior in patient care was the highest among awareness towards academic misconduct. This has significant differences according to the their interpersonal relationship and motivation of admission. This study may provide basic data for enhancement of nursing students' recognition of academic improvement in academic integrity. Further studies should be needed to assess academic integrity policies, violations, and the results of the measures in nursing students.

  • This paper presents research analyzed contents in center of awareness of research ethics and learning ethics of B university students. The presented data get from cognition level questions of research ethics and learning ethics in the purpose of establishing educational directions of research-learning ethics for B university students, and recognize ethics awareness level of students, necessity of ethics education from cognition level analysis. The research results will be useful guideline for ethics educations of B university.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 효과적인 정보통신윤리 교육을 통한 정보통신윤리 의식 함양에 있다. 블랜디드 PBL의 교수-학습 목표 달성을 위해서 온라인 학습과 면대면 수업이 체계적으로 혼합되었고, 온라인 학습을 위한 주요 모듈은 오픈소스 학습관리시스템인 무들(Moodle)에서 운영되었다. 온라인을 통한 PBL 단계(문제제시, 문제확인, 자료수집, 해결안 도출, 문제해결안 발표, 정리 및 평가)에 따른 블랜디드 활동에서 학습자가 스스로 문제를 해결해 가면서 학습계획을 세우고, 지식 데이터베이스 등을 활용하여 정보의 획득과 평가, 새로운 아이디어를 적용할 수 있는 e-PBL 시스템을 구현하였다. 블랜디드 PBL 시스템의 교육적인 효과를 검증하기 위해서 대학교 2학년 재학생 60명을 실험집단(30명), 통제집단(30명)으로 구성하였다. 실험 집단과 통제집단은 모두 6명을 1개 조로 하여 각각 5개 조를 구성하였다. 실험집단에는 블랜디드 PBL을 이용하여 수업을 실시한 후에 정보통신윤리 의식 평가를 실시하고, 통제집단은 면대면 PBL을 이용하여 수업을 실시하였다. 두 집단의 정보통신윤리 의식에 유의미한 차이가 있는지를 검증하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0을 활용한 t-Test를 실시하였다. 실험결과, 블랜디드 PBL을 적용하여 정보통신윤리를 학습한 실험 집단이 면대면 PBL을 적용하여 정보통신윤리를 학습한 통제집단보다 정보통신윤리 의식의 절제, 존중, 책임, 참여 지표에서 높은 향상을 보였다.

The Survey of Academic Integrity of the Student in Mentorship Program at a Science Gifted Institute Attached to University (대학부설 과학영재교육원 예비 사사과정 학생들의 학습윤리 실태 조사)

  • The purposes of this study were to inquire the status of academic integrity of the student in mentorship program at a science gifted institute attached to university and to seek the teaching plan of academic integrity. We administered questionnaire to 51 students who passed the enterance exam of mentorship program at the science gifted institute in 2013. The questionnaire consisted of three topics, 1) using reference, 2) purchasing, deputizing & plagiarizing of homework, 3) cooperative learning. As results of survey, students have a ethic in the following order: 'purchasing, deputizing & plagiarizing of homework', 'using reference', and 'cooperative learning'. Especially, the lack of conscious about 'cooperative learning' turned out to be a problem, because students have to research by cooperative learning during mentorship program. And there was no significant correlation between each topic. Finally, there was no correlation between ethical knowledge and degree of practicing it.

Development of a Game Model Based on Virtues Education for Information & Communication Ethics Education (정보통신윤리 교육을 위한 덕 교육 기반 게임 모형 개발)

  • 정보화 사회에서의 일원으로 꼭 갖추어야 할 정보통신윤리 덕목들은 기존 산업화 사회에서의 교수-학습방법으로는 부적절하다. 덕 교육 (Virtues Education)은 행위자가 교육의 중심이 되어, 인지 정의 행동의 통합과 공동체주의를 중요시 여겨 학습자 스스로 윤리를 체득하도록 하는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 덕 교육의 장점을 기반으로 학습자가 보다 재미있고 쉬운 학습을 통해 정보통신윤리의 능동적이고 자연스러운 체득이 가능하도록 게임 모형을 개발하였다. 본 게임 모형은 문제 사태를 확인하고, 그에 관련된 규범을 찾고, 규범의 의미와 근거를 찾은 후, 판단을 예측하고, 판단하여 미션을 해결하는 모형이다. 본 모형의 장점 (특징)은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자가 쉽고 재미있게 정보통신윤리 학습을 할 수 있다. 둘째, 게임을 진행하며 윤리의식을 교사가 전달하는 것이 아닌, 학습자 스스로 체득하게 할 수 있다. 셋째, 정보화 사회의 구성원으로서 알맞은 가치관을 확립하여, 정보화 사회의 역기능에 대해 올바르게 판단하고 실천할 수 있다.

An Internet Ethics Learning Model based on PBL (문제중심학습 기반의 인터넷 윤리 학습 모형)

  • This thesis focuses on developing the appropriate model for teaching Internet ethics based on problem-based learning. In the new learning model, participation of students such as discussion and writing methods is considered important. The research applied the new method at class and analyzed the change in Internet ethics. The result of research shows that internet ethics of learner improved in the voluntariness, respect, participation, responsibility area. Especially, the voluntariness and responsibility areas showed statistically meaningful improvement.

  • It is not easy to find out well organized teaching and learning methodology as the adverse effects of the internet have made a lot of problems because we realize the importance of the information/cyber ethic education. In this paper, I suggest the teaching and learning process of the information/cyber ethic education as applying the creative problem solving process of the six-step model proposed by A. Osborn and S. Parnes. We divided fifth grade 54 elementary school students into two groups, a experimental group and a control group, and conducted the the teaching and learning experimental methods. The experimental group, conducted educational teaching and learning methods for information ethics education using creative problem solving process, got a better result compared to the other group. It must be one of the systematic approach to lead changes of learners'; recognition, focusing on the ethics problem-solving process.

  • 정보화 역기능 현상에 대한 근본적인 대처 방안은 사용자의 정보 윤리적 관점에서 다각적으로 침해 사고에 대해 예측하고 평가하여 정보화 사회가 인간 중심의 바람직한 사회가 될 수 있도록 건전한 윤리 의식을 확립하는 것이다. 하지만, 현재의 정보통신윤리교육은 교육 목표와 내용에 있어서 균형성을 상실하여, 역기능 측면에만 치우치고, 학습자인 학생에게 자율적으로 선택하여 행동할 수 있는 능력을 키워주기보다는 일방적으로 설정된 내용을 전수하는 학습 형태를 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 정보통신윤리교육에 대한 자기주도적 학습 방법을 웹 기반에서 적용될 수 있는 학습 콘텐츠 모형을 구현한다. 이를 위해 웹 콘텐츠를 이용하여 학습자 스스로가 개별 학습을 수행할 수 있고, 학습내용에 대한 보충 심화 반복 등의 자기주도적인 학습이 가능하도록 설계하였다.

  • The Information-Oriented Society that we live in today has given lots of conveniences whereas it has serve problems and even is becoming social problems. These problems can have much worse influence to the little children who are immature. This research developed the new teaching-learning programs that can improve the learner's information communication ethical with theme-based integrated learning by analyzing present information communication curriculums. In addition, we apply the teaching-learning programs to the elementary school and analyzed the effects. As the result of this study, It is appeared that theme-based integrated learning for information communication ethical education gives good effects on information communication ethics improvement.

  • This study addresses the plan and methods of teaching/learning ethical aspects of science in the secondary schools, which were developed by the authors based on their 3 year research on ethical aspects of science and its teaching/learning. The general teaching/learning plan is composed of the instructional objectives of teaching/learning ethical aspect of science, its teaching/learning method and strategies, curricular content, and assessment. The article also attempted to describe a few words of care to keep in mind when apply the model and methods in the science classrooms.
