Effects of Collaborative Learning in a Virtual Environment on Students' Academic Achievement and Satisfaction (가상 학습 공간에서의 협력 학습이 학업 성취도 및 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This experimental study was to examine the impact of collaborative learning in a virtual environment on students' learning outcomes and satisfaction. The collaborative virtual learning environment was created for a Korean history class for high school students. A total of 119 participants were recruited and were randomly assigned to either "collaborative group" or an "individual group." Students' academic achievements and satisfaction were collected as measurement tools to examine the effect of collaborative learning in the virtual learning environment and collected data were tested by independent sample t. The results showed that participation in collaborative groups had a significant positive effect on academic achievement and satisfaction than individual groups.

Learner's perception and Learning Satisfaction on e-learning in the University Blended Learning Environment (블렌디드 러닝(Blended Learning) 환경에서 e-learning에 대한 학습자의 지각정도와 학습만족도 -S 대학 보건교육학 강좌를 중심으로-)

  • This purpose of this study is to investigate the learner's perception and learning satisfaction on e-learning in the university blended learning environment. The participants in this study were signed up for Health Education. Collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS program. The results are as follows. The average of learner's perception and learning satisfaction on e-learning was higher than the middle. the most of learners recognized that e-learning is efficient to cultivate computer usage ability. Relation between learner's perception and learning satisfaction on e-learning showed a positive correlation. Learning satisfaction could be influenced by learner's perception on e-learning. Considering all these results, the blended learning which mixs face-to-face learning and e-learning is meaningful.

  • This study is the result of the operation of Project-Based Leaning (PBL) conducted at S Women's University's Teaching and Learning Center. This study investigated the learning outcomes and learning satisfaction of participating learners. The questionnaire for this study consisted of a total of 28 questions on learning strategies (peer learning strategies, critical review strategies, elaboration strategies, super cognitive, and online project activities) and learning satisfaction. For the survey, 300 students (first semester: 210 students, second semester: 90 students) participated in the 2020 project-based learning. As for the pre and post questionnaire results, the average of the post questionnaires of the first and second semesters was higher than pre-questionnaires result. After taking project-based learning in the first and second semesters, the average of learning strategy and learning satisfaction improved. It was confirmed that the project activities are helpful in learning activities and increase participation in class. Based on this, it implies that in-depth PBL research in a non-face-to-face learning environment should be continued.

The Relationship between the Meaning of Life and Academic Satisfaction of Adult Learners: Mediating Effect of Academic Engagement (성인학습자의 삶의 의미와 학업만족과의 관계: 학업열의의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the meaning of life and academic engagement as a factor that affects the academic satisfaction of online learners in adulthood. The subjects of this study were 148 adult learners enrolled in cyber university. For data analysis, Spss 23 and PROCESS Macro were used. As a result of the correlation analysis, there was a significant positive correlation between the meaning of life, academic satisfaction and academic engagement, there was also a positive correlation between academic satisfaction and academic engagement. As a result of confirming the direct effect on educational satisfaction, the direct effect between the meaning of life as an independent variable and academic engagement as a mediating variable was positively significant. As a result of examining the indirect effect of academic engagement on the relationship between the meaning of life and academic satisfaction, the mediating effect was significant. Through insight into the meaning of life in diddle age, students show engagement for their studies, which leads to academic satisfaction. Therefore, in order to increase the academic satisfaction of adult learner, it is thought that it is necessary to develop a practical education program and a motivation program that can find the meaning of life.

  • This study is focused on the effect and satisfaction of Education of Music Appreciation by utilizing music game. In order to come up with the result, the study has conducted an experimental comparison using 107 male and female 4th grade students at G-elementary school in Gyeonggi-do. As a result, the class that teaches with the game has relatively higher learning assessment, study involvement and in particular, has a significantly increased satisfaction level than the class that only uses music appreciation. In addition, it analyzes that study involvement and satisfaction has an effect on learning assessment. The results of this research deemed to contribute direction of planning on learning contents by applying Smart Devices in regular school classes.

An influence of a Sense of Classroom Community and Social Presence on Learning Satisfaction in a Cyber Learning Setting (사이버학습환경에서 학급공동체의식과 사회적 실재감이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of a sense of classroom community and social presence on learning satisfaction in a cyber learning setting. The subjects in this study were 172 sixth graders in M elementary school in the city of D, who studied in a cyber setting at home. A survey was conducted to gather data, and multiple regression analysis were carried out to determine the influence of a sense of classroom community and social presence on learning satisfaction. As a result, it is found that a sense of classroom community and social presence had a significant correlation to learning satisfaction. A sense of classroom community turned out to affect learning satisfaction. A sense of classroom community are a major variable that should seriously be taken into account in an elementary cyber learning setting in order to boost the learning satisfaction of learners. In the future, the kinds of instructional design that could foster a sense of classroom community is required when cyber learning environments are prepared.

  • 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에 연계된 다양한 교과외 학습 활동들은 학습자들의 맞춤형 프로그래밍 학습에 많은 도움이 된다. 본 연구에서는 튜터링, 교수자 중심의 전공스터디, 학생들의 자발적 스터디 모임 등 다양한 형태의 프로그래밍 중심 교과외 학습 활동들이 연계된 프로그래밍 수업의 만족도와 학습 동기 부여에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 연구하기 위해, 참여 학생들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하고 그 결과를 분석해보고자 한다.

  • 2005년 사이버가정학습 시스템이 구축되어 운영되고 있지만 많은 학생이 이를 외면하고 사교육에 많은 시간과 비용을 사용하고 있다. 사이버가정학습을 이용하는 학생들의 인지양식 특성을 두 집단으로 나누어 각각 교육만족도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 장독립적인 인지양식 학생들은 학원, 과외 등의 사교육으로 사이버가정학습 이용률이 저조하였고 잘 정리된 자료와 콘텐츠를 사이버가정학습에서 이용하고 싶어 했고 사이버가정학습의 내용과 콘텐츠에 대해서는 긍정적인 의견이 많았다. 장의존적인 인지양식 학생들은 가정에서 컴퓨터 사용 환경이 쉽지 않아 이용하지 못하는 학생이 많았으며 현재 사이버가정학습의 만족도가 높게 나타났으나 만족도 조사에서 사이버선생님에 대한 불만이 비교적 많이 나타났다.

  • 본 논문은 사이버가정학습 인터페이스의 디자인과 관련한 학생들의 감성 만족도를 알아보기 위하여 감성공학의 방법과 사용성(Usability)평가 방법 중 휴리스틱 평가법을 활용하였다. 각각의 인터페이스에서 학습자의 감성만족도와 전문가의 디자인 적합성 휴리스틱 평가 결과를 분석하여 16개 사이트의 상대적 감성평가 순위를 알아보았다. 학생들의 감성만족도 평가와 전문가의 휴리스틱 평가를 종합한 결과 가장 높은 점수를 받은 것은 부산, 서울, 울산, 제주 사이버가정학습이었다. 본 연구에서 제시한 사이버가정학습 인터페이스 감성평가 방법은 웹 디자이너만의 생각으로 디자인하던 인터페이스에서 벗어나 학습자 중심의 인터페이스를 디자인하는데 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 이용도가 낮은 사이버가정학습 사이트의 문제점을 파악하고 개선하여 학습자의 이용도를 높일 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on Mediation Effect of Learning Expectancy in Social Presence and Educational Satisfaction of Online Entrepreneurship Education (온라인 창업 교육의 사회적 현존감과 교육 만족도 관계에서 학습 기대감의 매개효과 연구)

  • The previous studies of online entrepreneurship education were conducted only on the effect of education on actual entrepreneurship, but did not analyze the effectiveness of education. In this study, beyond of limits of previous studies, we investigated the effect of social presence on learning expectancy and educational satisfaction. In addition, we examined the influence of learning expectation on the relationship between social presence and educational satisfaction. For the research hypothesis test, we conducted a questionnaires survey on 189 graduate students who taken online courses related to entrepreneurship, hypothesis and questionnaires were made based on the research hypotheses precedent theories. And educational satisfaction was divided into operational satisfaction and content satisfaction. As a results of the analysis using the structural equation model, social presence has a positive effects on learning expectancy. Next, the learning expectancy has a positive effects on the operational satisfaction and the content satisfaction. Finally, when social presence affects operational satisfaction, learning expectation has a complete mediation effects and content satisfaction has a partial mediation effects. The implications of the results of this study were as follows. There was a need for a way to interacted with learners when conducted online entrepreneurial education. When increased the satisfaction level of the learning operation, it is necessary to reduced the burden of learners and raised the expectancy.
