The data was collected from 446 student athletes in Seoul and Incheon who were registered in Korean Olympic Committee before they participated the 2010 National Athletic Meet. Athlete Self-Management Questionnaires and Athlete's Sports Coping Scale Questionnaires as The investigation tools were used for the data collection. The data, which was collected by using SPSS 17.0, was analysed with t-test, factor analysis and multi-regression. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was a difference of the class over self-management and sports coping. Second, a difference in sports career existed between self-management and sports coping. Third, self-management affected sports coping of student athletes.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of astronomical animation module on students' conceptual change regarding the concepts of diurnal motion of stars. Four students participated in this study, who never learned about the diurnal motion of stars. An animation module was developed by using Flash MX to readily understand the concept of space. In addition, we inserted a teacher's voice with supplementary materials into the animation module to help students learn individually. The animation module was comprised of the movement of the Earth, the Moon and the planet. The earth science gifted students' preconception on diurnal motion of stars was analyzed with pre-test using questionnaires and interviews. After the instruction with animation module, the effect of conceptual change was examined by comparing pre and post-test. The results indicated that three students correctly presented about the motion of the star by all directions in middle latitude. Four students showed their understanding that stars travelled straight in all directions. Finally, all of four students whose preconceptions were that the star rotated perpendicularly showed the conceptual change of diurnal motion that the star traveled diagonally.

  • The Studies related to the Gwangju Student Movement which occurred in 1929 have been diversified on research topics since 2018. A number of studies have been conducted on the process of spreading the Gwangju Student Movement abroad. However, those studies show limitations in terms of difficulty in discovering new historical materials and the absence of research methods. Therefore, the researchers have analyzed the process of spreading Gwangju Student Movement abroad as the process of spreading information based on library and information science. The researchers have newly discovered Chinese newspaper records at that times and conducted 2-mode network analysis. The results are as follows: first, 125 Chinese newspaper records were discovered from 16 kinds of newspapers and 104 articles of them were newly discovered; second, the researcher found that there were earlier articles than the first claimed by previous researchers in their studies; third, Newspapers in Beijing, Sacheon, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Honam regions in China mainly reported the first and second joint demonstrations in Seoul and Gwangju. The significance of this study is to expand and diversify the research on the Gwangju Student Movement through network analysis.

  • The discovery of new historical resources is important in that it ensures the sustainability of future researches and enables new interpretations and expansion of them. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of Chinese reports related to the newly discovered Gwangju Student Movement in terms of contents. In particular, since Chinese reports contain the same expressions and contents, we tried to figure out which materials from Korea and Japan were cited the same and what kind of relationships there were. The analysis results are as follows: First, the relationship between the reports on December 6, 1929, which were newly claimed as the first reports, and the Gwangju Student Movement was explained in detail. Although there is no specific indication that the distributing of manifesto and arresting case on December 6th in Seoul was related to the Gwangju Student Movement, it should be viewed as the first reports made to support it. Second, in previous studies, it was revealed that the contents known as the newspaper's own reports were actually quoted from previous reports in Korea or Japan. Third, it was confirmed that the contents of reports could be affected by the citation reports according to the political characteristics of the newspapers.

  • In this study, a career exploration program was developed for athletic students. Therefore, existing research on career exploration for athletics was analyzed, requirements were identified, and a learning plan was designed. Based on this, a step-by-step educational program was developed. In addition, since research on career exploration for athletic students was not active in previous studies, 'problem definition' - 'data collection' - 'data preprocessing' - 'data analysis' by referring to existing career exploration studies that were studied in the school field. - 'Data visualization' - 'Simulation analysis' were divided into stages to conduct the study. Through this study, it is expected that research on vocational education for athletic students will be more active.

  • Based on the operating system of the advanced school athletic clubs operated to attempt a new paradigm of athletic culture in the field of school athletics, this study aimed to conduct an in-depth analysis of the student athletes' academic level and seek a solution for the stream of the times and integrated change based on a relative minimum academic achievement standard applied by this system. For Analyzing the difference in academic grades between subjects to which the minimum academic achievement standard by the event is applied, one-way ANOVA and MANOVA were used. First, the grade point average (GPA) of the student athletes by the event did not reach the GPA of most general students. Second, it was predicted that in applying a standard, relative to the general students, as academic grades increased, the probability in which the student athletes do not reach the minimum academic achievement standard would increase. Third, it turned out that, even in the phased application of the current minimum academic achievement standard to the GPA of the student athletes by the event, the ratio of the attainment of the minimum academic achievement was similar.

  • In this research, a questionnaire was developed to investigate high school students' viewpoints, originating from science history, on 'motion of on object', the subjects were seventy- five 10th grade students and sixty-five 11th grade students. Results found that the highest percentage among the types of 10th grade students' thoughts was related to the Middle Ages 'Impetus' viewpoints. Percentages of 11th grade students' thoughts were highest for Middle Ages and Newton views. These results provided proof that the development of student thoughts' based on science history' are consistent with school year. Furthermore, student thought regarding 'object motion' under the conditions of no force, vacuum, or air under a weightless stage were related to progressive viewpoints on science history. However, the percentage of thoughts related to earlier viewpoints were considerable. Student thoughts on parabolic motion, circle motion, and conservation amount of motion were found to be highly significant in similarity to the viewpoints of Galilei, Descartes, and Huygens; view cultivated before Newton. Consequently, this study determined that educational efficiency could be raised by providing historically more progressive views to cope with conflictory student thoughts-thoughts related to past views in science history.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a HAM (Heuristic Attention Model) by analyzing the difference between eye movements according to the science achievement of elementary school students on discrimination task. Science achievement was graded by the results of the Korea national achievement test conducted in 2012 for a random sampling of classes. As an assessment tool to check discrimination task, two discrimination measure problems from TSPS (Test of Science Process Skill, developed in 1994) which were suitable for an eye tracking system were adopted. The subjects of this study were 20 students from the sixth grade who agreed to participate in the research. SMI was used to collect EMD (eye movement data). Experiment 3.2 and BeGaze 3.2 programs were used to plan experiments and analyze EMD. As a result, eye movements of participants in discrimination tasks varied greatly in counts and duration of fixation, first fixation duration, and dwell time, according to students' science achievement and difficulty of the problems. By the analysis of EMD, strategies of the students' problem-solving could be found. During problem solving, subjects' eye movements were affected by visual attention; bottom-up attention, top-down attention and convert attention, and aflunter attention. In conclusion, HAM was developed, and it is believed to help in the development of a science learning program for underachievers.

  • This study developed an educational program to help students athletes explore their career options. In preparation for when students in the athletic department do not succeed in sports, the need for career guidance in other fields of our society was emphasized, existing research was analyzed, requirements were identified, and a study plan was designed. Based on this, it was established a career exploration education program for records management system development in a step-by-step. Referring to previous research on career guidance in elementary, middle, and high schools, the study was conducted in the following 4 stages: analysis, development, desingn, application. In addition, students in the athletics department were able to learn more with interest by developing software related to their field. It is expected that this studyresearchwill contribute to eht divesification of research on career guidance for student athletes.
