Third, total perception score of school foodservice facilities area from schools with improved facilities (1.71) was significantly higher than that (1.60) of school without improvement (P<0.001). Fourth, total satisfaction (3.32) of school foodservice facilities and utilities in school with improved facilities was significantly higher than that (2.62) of schools without improvement (P<0.01). Excellent facilities via one of the surveyed schools selected as school facilities, the comparison analyzing the current status and BF certification evaluation indicators within the facility, the intermediate facility entry access, handicapped parking areas, main entrance item BF was to meet the minimum standards of accreditation indicators. For internal facilities BF accreditation indicators have applied the same criteria to all buildings less than that is not reflected in layout and space planning, environmental planning of school facilities was analyzed that showed the limits conflict with installation.

  • Rapid urbanization has led to the decline of local communities in old city centers and the deterioration of school facilities, resulting in an increased need for school complexes. School complexes are currently growing, with various policies being proposed. However, integrating additional facilities into the existing infrastructure in schools can lead to a range of issues. To mitigate these issues, additional traffic flow paths and complex integration strategies are required. This study categorizes school complex projects into various types based on themes and examines the relationships between each type and community revitalization factors. Through this analysis, the study recommends desirable directions for the implementation of elementary school complex projects to revitalize local communities.

  • The purpose of this study is to offer fundamental data which is necessary to improve a design for the general high school. For doing this, teachers' satisfaction about using spaces of high schools equipped with excellent facilities and with general facilities respectively was compared and analyzed. Selected schools for this study were 3 high schools with superior facilities and 3 high schools with general facilities, all of which have been built or renovated since 2010. Data were collected by doing a field survey, a literature survey, and a questionnaire survey. Data were analyzed by 4 ways: Reliability analysis about satisfaction of educational facilities, demographic analysis, regression analysis on overall satisfaction and the use of facilities, and t-test to verify the difference of satisfaction depending on schools. Findings showed that overall satisfaction was high in high schools with excellent facilities whereas it was low in high schools with general facilities. Also, in order to enhance overall satisfaction of facilities, it suggests that building and continuously maintaining a circular route and a walkway which do not have the concealed space should be necessary.
