This article includes an introduction, a history of Pick's theorem on lattice polyhedron and its proof, Reeve's theorem on 3-dimensional lattice polyhedrons extended from the Pick's theorem and Ehrhart polynomial generalized as an n-dimensional lattice polyhedron, and then shows the relationship between the volume of 3-dimensional polyhedron and the number of its lattice points by means of Reeve's theorem. It is aimed to apply the relationship to the visualization of sums in sequences.

In this study, in order to use computer in mathematical learning effectively, we investigate application of computer shown textbooks in geometry unit of middle school mathematics. First, we analyzed about status of computer application and method of computer application in 27 textbooks. We presented concrete example of mathematics activity using computer that can be used by teachers. Also, we tried to find out the direction to use computer more effectively in teaching and learning geometry. Through this process, we do not simply use computer to play for interest but to use it more meaningfully.

Various theories of mathematics education which have been considered by many European researchers particularly, in France, recently are introduced. The Anthropological Theory of the didactic discussed by Chevallard will be briefly introduced. Then the praxeology as Anthropological model according to Chevallard's theory will be discussed. The necessity of Anthropological Theory, its background of development through transition process of didactic, and its basic elements will be discussed further. Additionally, teaching limit of sequences in high school mathematics will be suggested according to the theory.

The main purpose of this study was to introduce a self-study as one way to enhance instructional expertise in mathematics. This paper summarized the concept, characteristics, and methods of self-study in order to inform teachers of the usefulness of a self-study for their professional development. This paper then presented a self-study practice manuals for teachers to follow the self-study step by step. It described a case in which an elementary school teacher applied the self-study practice manuals to her mathematics teaching. This paper closes with implications for teachers to employ a self-study.

The purpose of this study is to find the economic effect of educational investment. In order to finding this. I have investigated to historical background of educational investment and as the method of analysis I examined the rate of return approach such as the residual approach. and the simple correlations approach. Historically, economics of education has concentrated on surrounding the relationship between education and economy, which the implicit assumption that investment in education contributed to increase the quality and productivity of the labor force and thus raise future individual and national income levels. First of all, at this paper I found to need boldness to increasing the amount of education budget annually and also positively studying about economics of education in Korea for high and good quality analysis of expansion economy and education.

The purpose of this article is to introduce the Sports, Play, and Active Recreation for Kids (SPARK) physical education curriculum. SPARK is a model for health-related, research-based and evidence-based physical education programs in the United States. The outcome of school physical education can relate to public health, but there exists few evidence-based physical education programs reporting health-related variables. School physical education can provide more opportunities for children and adolescents to be physically active and to learn more about healthy lifestyles. However, physical education programs have been cut and eliminated due to lack of funding in the U.S. as in South Korea. Although facing these problems, SPARK programs have been implemented in over 50% of schools, after school programs and coordinated school health programs in the U.S. This article reviewed: (a) background information of the SPARK program, (b) examples of effective interventions, and (c) methods of dissemination to schools nationally in the U.S. The methods showed in SPARK may use as a model for researching, developing and implementing new physical education(PE) program and after school programs in Korea.

In this paper, we did a study on the definition and properties of binomial coefficients which can be seen with the topic for the enrichment of mathematically gifted students. Using this result, studied the problem of how to solve equations containing the binomial coefficients by using the mathematical induction, binomial theorem, the definition of the combination, and road network model situations. And such contents can be adequately dealt with the subject of mathematics enrichment gifted and talented Education because mathematically gifted students may well be the subject of inquiry. In addition, it can be used to study the subject to experience a deep sense of mathematics. As this research, it will be introduced as an example to guide students.

협회는 지난 3월 11일 농림수산식품에 낙농부분의 정책제안으로 '낙농산업 발전 종합대책(안)'을 제출하고 그 제시방안에 대해 농림수산식품부와 협의를 갖고 추진방안에 대해 논의를 갖는(4.17) 등 정책반영을 위한 활동을 지속적으로 전개하고 있다. 대책(안)의 내용에 따르면 현재 낙농산업의 현황과 문제점을 제기하면서 낙농산업의 안정적인 발전대책 수립을 위해 3가지 개선방향을 제시하고 있는데, 첫째, 낙농정책에 대한 비전을 수립, 국가 비전 아젠다를 설정하여 지속가능한 낙농산업으로서의 기반유지 당위성을 마련하고, 둘째, 전국단위 수급조절을 위한 계획생산제 실시 및 기구개편, 국내 유제품 시장 형성을 위한 가공원료유 한도수량제의 확대, 국산우유의 차별화를 위한 우유표기의 개선, 군급식 우유용량의 확대와 학교급식과 학교우유급식 통합(17대 대선 한나라당 정책공약), 북한어린이(학생) 우유지원 등 그 실질적인 정책마련에 해당하는 원유수급 안정화를 위한 제도 개선이 바로 그것이다. 셋째, 사료가격 안정을 위한 대책 및 목장시설 현대화 지원 확대, 낙농단지 조성을 통한 안정적 낙농생산 기반 유지, 유업체 경영합리화 방안 및 시설자금 지원, 유제품 수출지원 등을 통해 낙농.유업의 경쟁력 향상이 이뤄져야 함을 강조하였다. 월간낙농육우는 본고를 통해 낙농산업 발전 종합대책(안) 중 개선방향에 해당하는 자료를 소개코자 하니, 많은 관심을 바란다.

본 논문에서는 특별한 스튜디오 조명이 아닌 가정용 혹은 학교용 조명 하에서 동작하는 감정 표현이 가능한 그림자 놀이 도구를 소개한다. 이 놀이는 사용자의 실사로부터 추출된 가상 그림자에 사용자의 동작에 따라 실시간으로 반응하는 가상 표정 애니메이션 캐릭터를 투영한다. 이 놀이 도구는 행위전시 등의 공연 환경뿐만 아니라 가정, 학교 등의 일상 환경에서도 동작이 가능하도록 설계되었다. 따라서 가장 일반적인 조명의 하나인 가정용 형광등과 백열등 환경을 가정하였고, 배경에 대해서는 어떤 제약도 가정하지 않았다. 사용자의 실사를 구분하는 과정에는 배경 차분화 기법을 사용하였고, 빛의 산란 및 실제 그림자의 영향 등으로 인한 잡음을 최소화하기 위해 몇 가지 잡음 제거 알고리즘을 결합하여 적용하였다. 이 도구에서 가상 그림자의 표정 애니메이션은 사용자의 손동작에 따라 변화하며, 손동작 및 머리 위치의 추적을 위해 새로이 고안한 자질 기반 추적 기법을 적용하였다. 이 도구는 공연장에서의 인터렉티브 미디어 아트 전시 또는 공연, 아동 대상의 미술 교육, 예술치료 등의 분야에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

세계화의 진전으로 사실상 국가간 장벽이 없어짐에 따라, 전문직 자격에 있어서도 각국이 공통으로 적용할 수 있는 국제적 기준이 필요하게 되었고, 이에 따라 UIA는 건축사자격에 대한 국제 기준이랄 수 있는 '건축실무에 있어서의 전문성에 관한 국제기준 권장안(UIA Accord on Recommended International Standards for Professionalism in Architectural Practice, 1999)'을 발표하였다. 때마침 WTO에 의한 전문서비스분야의 시장개방문화와 함께 우리나라의 건축사제도에도 일대 변혁이 불가피하게 된 것이다. 이에 우리 협회에서는 현안에 대한 신속한 대처를 위하여 UIA와의 관계정립이 필요하다는 판단하에 UIA 회원단체로서의 가입을 추진하는 한편, 구체적인 대안마련을 위한 연구를 진행하여 '건축사자격 상호인정에 따른 대응방안(1999.9)'을 발표하였고, '한중일 건축사협의회'를 설립, 3국의 공동대처방안을 모색하는 등 지속적인 노력을 기울여 왔다. 협회 뿐만 아니라 학회를 중심으로 한 건축학교과과정의 모델연구, 건교부와 건축3단체가 참여한 '건축사자격제도 개선방안에 대한 대응방안연구(2002.12)'등을 통하여 이미 5년이상의 건축학 교육과정이 신설되었고, 건축교육인증을 위한 인증원 설립준비가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 변화는 비단 세계화 혹은 무역자유화라는 현안에 대한 대응의 필요성 뿐 아니라 궁극적으로는 우리나라 건축교육의 질을 높이고 국제기준과 동등한 건축사제도를 갖춤으로써 건축사의 자질을 향상시켜 국제경쟁력을 강화하고자 하는데 목적이 있다 하겠다. 나라마다 건축사제도의 성립 과정과 배경이 다르지만, 대부분의 나라에서 건축사제도는 건축사단체에 의하여 운영되고 있다. 우리 협회도 최근에 진행되고 있는 인증원 설립을 위한 연구에 적극적으로 참여하여 주도적 역할을 담당하고 있기에, 관련 내용을 소개하여 회원여러분의 이해를 돕고자 한다.
