The correlation between each variable was identified and the influencing factors were investigated. Data collection was conducted from October 1 to October 21, 2019 on 213 freshman dental hygiene students in Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do, and Gyeongsang-do regions. According to the study, the significant influence of freshman dental hygiene students' school adjustment was in the order of academic self-efficacy, positive thinking, and career program experience, and the most influential factors were academic self-efficacy, and the regression model explained was 47.7%. Since this study has been investigated and conducted on some freshman dental hygiene students, there is a limit to generalizing the results, subsequent studies will require continuous study of various variables for positive thinking and academic self-efficiency to school adjustment. However, based on this study, it is meaningful that it can be used as data to supplement the prior study related to school adjustment, and by presenting factors related to the school adjustment of freshman dental hygiene students, it is thought that it became basic data that confirmed the necessity of developing the school adjustment program.

  • The present study examined the direct effects of parental support and monitoring on multicultural adolescents' school adjustment and the mediating role of ego-resilience in the relationships, under the condition of controlling foreign mothers' Korean language abilities. We used data from 1,325 1st grade middle school students from multicultural families, who participated in the Multicultural Adolescent Panel Survey(MAPS) administered by the National Youth Policy Institute(NYPI). Structural equation modeling analysis revealed the following: parental support and monitoring directly and positively related with multicultural adolescents' school adjustment, and the direct effect of parental support on the school adjustment of multicultural adolescents was greater than that of parental monitoring. In addition, the adolescents' ego-resilience partially mediated the relationships between parental support and monitoring, and their school adjustment. Finally, we recommended the roles of parent education and home economics education in supporting school adjustment and elevating ego-resilience in multicultural adolescents.

And AMOS 20.0 program were utilized to conduct mediating analysis and the statistically significant level (p) is fixed as .05. The results are the following. First, there was a statistically significant correlation between non-disabled student's sense of community, school adjustment and internal attribution. Second, internal attribution partially mediated the relationship between the sense of community of non-disabled students and school adjustment.
