Fabrication of a Nano/Microfiber Hybrid Mat for Control of Mechanical Properties and Porosity (기계적 특성 및 공극률 조절을 위한 나노/마이크로섬유 하이브리드 매트 제작)

  • Fine polymeric fibers have been gaining interest from the energy harvesting/storage, tissue, and bioengineering industries because of advantages such as the small diameter, high porosity, permeability, and similarities to a natural extracellular matrix. Electrospinning is one of the most popular methods used to fabricate polymeric fibers because it is not as limited in regards to the materials selection, and it does not require expensive or complex equipment. However, electrospun fibers have a severe aerodynamic instability because the small diameter fibers are able to pass through the atmospheric layer when there is a high electric field. As a result, electrospun fibrous mats have serious difficulties with controlling its shape and geometric properties. In this study, a hybrid nano/microfibrous mat is presented that is fabricated using electrospinning with two different solvent-based PCL solutions. This provides control of the fiber diameter, mat porosity, and mechanical properties. Various hybrid fibrous mats were fabricated after an experimental investigation of the effects of solvent on fiber diameter. It was then demonstrated that the mechanical properties and porosity of the fabricated various hybrid mats could be successfully controlled.

  • Due to the friction characteristics of cylinders and the rail of a passenger car, in the system actuated with hydraulic systems, there exist dead zones, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. In this paper, the friction characteristics of a cylinder is examined, which may cause the abrupt increase of the acceleration in the zero-crossing speed region. To overcome the drawbacks of a PID controlled hydraulic system, a zooming fuzzy logic controller is designed and finally an improved hybrid controller is Proposed. The proposed controller is composed of the PID controller and the zooming fuzzy controller. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is shown by simulation and experimental results, In which the proposed hybrid control method yields good control performance not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also In the overall control region including steady-state region.

  • 본 연구는 수용성 폴리우레탄 코팅 제품의 문제점인 코팅층간의 끈적임 문제, 내구성 문제 등을 개선하기 위해 졸-겔법을 이용하여 구형의 실리카 나노무기입자를 제조하고, 또한 주형을 이용한 다른 모양의 나노구조체를 합성하여 수성폴리우레탄 수지에 일정 비율 혼합하여 필름을 제조하여 수성 폴리우레탄 필름 대비 물성 향상에 관한 연구이다.

  • 표면처리는 전기적, 물리적, 화학적 처리방법 등을 통해 보호표면을 생성시킴으로서 재료의 외관미화, 내마모성, 전기절연, 전기전도성 부여 등의 폭넓은 목적을 달성시키고자 하는 일련의 조작을 말한다. 최근 스마트 휴대폰으로 대표되는 이동통신기기 산업의 빠른 성장으로 인하여 이들 기기를 보호하기 위한 표면 처리기술도 함께 발전하고 있다. 그중 대표적인 것이 나노기술을 융합한 보호막 도장기술이다. 나노입자를 분산하거나 나노상(phase)을 융합하여 제품의 표면에 보호막을 도장하는 기술이며, 그 주된 목적은 내 스크래치, 내 부식 등의 물리 화학적 보호기능을 수행하도록 층(layer)을 형성하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 제조된 실리카 나노입자와 유기물을 사용하여 휴대폰 케이스에 도장막을 형성하였고, Scratch, Wear, hardness Test등의 분석을 통하여 유무기 하이브리드 도장막의 특성을 평가하였다.

  • 최근 하이브리드 자동차, 지능형 자동차 등을 비롯한 미래형 자동차 분야와 관련된 연구 개발과 맞물려 자동차 전장 회로 시스템은 더욱 복잡해지고 있다. 자동차 전장 시스템의 경향으로 그린카를 들 수 있는데 이에 대한 하나의 방향성은 연비 개선과 최적의 운행조건을 위한 ISG System( Idle Stop & Go system )의 채택으로 가고 있는 추세이다. 여러 장점을 가진 ISG 시스템이지만 시동 모드 시 많은 양의 전류가 순간적으로 흘러가 일순간 전압강하 발생과 높은 스위칭 주파수에 의한 표피효과가 일어난다. 이를 제어하는 기술로 전장회로상의 DC/DC 컨버터 기술이 핵심이라 할 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 확장성이 용이한 고효율 DC/DC 컨버터를 제안하고 모의 실험과 실제 실험을 통해 검토한다.

Fabrication and characterization of silica-titania hybrid film using silane treated $TiO_2$ sol (실리카-타이타니아 하이브리드 코팅막의 제조 및 특성평가)

  • By sol-gel method, we have fabricated silica-titania hybrid film using silane treated colloidal $TiO_2$ and characterized the film through FT-IR, TGA, UV-VIS and AFM. The silica-titania hybrid film showed Ti-O-Si chemical bond at FT-IR peak of $910{\sim}940cm^{-1}$. The fabricated hybrid film showed thermal stability of around $350^{\circ}C$(5wt% loss temperature) and transparency more than 90%. In addition, the good surface smoothness was confirmed by AFM. Therefore, the silica-titania hybrid film with outstanding properties can be potential for application in electronics and displays.

  • N-(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)-1,4-diaminoanthrquinone-2,3-dicarboximide (TESP-DADI), an organic blue pigment, has been prepared and incorporated into silica solid matrix reacting triethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) via sol-gel method. Morphology and microstructure of resulting hybrid pigment were studied employing SEM and TEM. The micrographs and particle size distributions showed that uniform pigment can be obtained employing TEOS-based sol-gel method forming silica core. Particle size distribution of dispersed pigment in water was examined using the technique of dynamic light scattering. The ensuing pigment dispersion ink was subjected to various physicochemical evaluation such as viscosity, surface tension, inkjet stability, storage stability, and color change as inkjet ink using spectrophotometric, and microscopic techniques.

  • The convergence of the automotive industry and the ICT technology can be broadly divided into the commercial service sector and the Cooperative-ITS (C-ITS) service sector. The C-ITS service sector is using V2X communication technology as a field that aims to provide safer transportation, more green and efficient transportation, and more predictable and productive mobility. The recent convergence of self-driving cars and connected cars requires high data rates, low transmission delays, and low transmission error rates. Interest in comparison of performance between WAVE and C-V2X (LTE-V2X, 5G-V2X) has been amplified and application services by communication technology are being studied. In this paper, we design the application performance evaluation method of Hybrid V2X communication system and confirm that the decrease of packet error rate (PER) performance is caused by the increase of communication distance, not the vehicle speed.

  • In this study, the composite coating materials with improved thermal insulation property were prepared by incorporating the hollow micro-spheres with high heat transfer resistance. The UV curable resin system consisting of hexa aliphatic urethane acrylate (UP118), trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA), 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA), and photoinitiator (Irgacure184) was employed as an organic binder. The glass substrates were coated by the prepared composites via bar coating method and cured under UV radiation. The optical transparency, thermal insulation property, adhesion, and surface hardness of the glass coated with composites containing different type of micro-spheres were investigated. The incorporation of micro-spheres with only 20 vol% of content resulted in remarkable improvement in the thermal insulation property of the coated glass. In addition, the transparent coated glass with light transmittance of about 80% could be obtained when silica micro-sphere (SP) was used as a thermal barrier.
