  • In this study, contains Design and Simulation data for Tone filter applied to the KSLV-1 FTS Receiver. Received Signal contains unwanted Noise and Jitter which should be eliminated by any kind of filters. In the design of KSLV-1 FTS Receiver, two different type of filters are used. One is Low-Pass Filter for rejecting high order harmonics and another is Tone Filter for sorting pure original signal in the mixed demodulate Signals. For the purpose of this development, various kinds of filter are studied and simulated for finding adequate type of filter.

An Iris-coupled Partial H-plane Filter (아이리스 결합형 Partial H-plane 필터)

  • An iris-coupled partial H-plane filter as a new type of partial H-plane filter is proposed. The proposed filter can be compared with conventional H-plane filter and uses an iris-type evanescent waveguide as a coupling structure. Filter design technique based on numerical simulation is developed to design and compare the proposed filter and H-plane filter. Designed iris-coupled partial H-plane filter has the same frequency response as that of the conventional H-plane filter while its cross section is one quarter. A good agreement between measurements and theoretical prediction is achieved.

  • In this paper, a Gaussian interpolation filter and cubic interpolation filter are presented to do more accurate channel estimation compared to the conventional linear interpolation filter for COFDM systems. In addition to an interpolation filter, a low pass filter using FFT and IFFT is also presented to reduce the noisy components of a channel estimate obtained by an interpolation filter. Channel estimates after low-pass filtering combined with interpolation filters can lower the error floor compared to the use of only interpolation filters. Computer simulation demonstrates that the presented channel estimation methods exhibit an improved performance compared to the conventional linear interpolation filter for COFDM systems in time-varying multipath fading channel and0.1 ~ 0.2 dB of Eb/No difference at BER=10-4 when the perfect channel estimation is compared.

  • This paper deals with the tracking problem of a moving target using multiple unmanned aerial vehicles. A decentralized extended information filter is designed to cooperatively estimate the position and the velocity of the moving target. The extended information filter is adopted to consider the range and the line-of-sight angle as measurement data. The decentralized scheme is applied to enhance the estimation performance using the information provided by other vehicles. Numerical simulation is performed to verify the tracking performance of the proposed decentralized filters.

  • In this paper, the necessity of the filter coefficients compensation for the lattice transversal joint (LTJ) adaptive filter was explained in general and with ease by analyzing it with respect to the time-varying transform domain adaptive filter. And also the reduction method of computational complexity for filter coefficients compensation was proposed using the property that speech signal is stationary during a short time period and its effectiveness was verified through experiments using artificial and real speech signals. The proposed adaptive filter reduces the computational complexity for filter coefficients compensation by 95%, and when the filter is applied to the acoustic echo canceller with 1000 taps, the total complexity is reduced by 82%.

  • In tins paper, a new DA(Distributed Arithmetic) tilter implementation technique has been proposed. Contrary to vertical directional calculation of input sample bit format in the conventional DA implementation technique, proposed implementation technique utilizes horizontal directional calculation of input sample bit format. Since proposed technique calculates in horizontal direction, it does not need ROM and utilizes the Modified Booth algorithm. Furthermore proposed technique can be applied to implement the variable coefficients filters in addition to the fixed coefficients filters. Using conventional and proposed techniques, a 20 tap filter is implemented by Verilog-HDL coding. Through Synopsis synthesis tool, it has been shown that 41.6% area reduction can be achieved.

  • This paper proposes a new design method for obtaining the impulse responses which satisfy the prescribed conditions designing for maximally flat FIR lowpass filters and highpass filters. The bandpass filters and band-reject filters have been directly derived from the addition and subtraction of impulse responses of a lowpass filter and a highpass filter. The two-dimensional maximally flat FIR lowpass filter, highpass filters, bandpass filters and band-reject filters with zero-phase have been designed by transforming the impulses of the one-dimensional filters designed in this research, which do not destroy lines and edges at the image signal processing.

  • There are two ways to connect an LCL filter in a grid-connected VSI. A wye connected LCL filter is general way, and the other is a delta connected LCL filter. While a model of a system with a wye connected LCL filter is calculated, a model of a system with a delta connected LCL filter is not formulated. Thus, we propose a mathematical model of a system with a delta connected LCL filter. Also, a comparative study of capacitor current harmonics of a delta connected LCL filter and a wye connected LCL filter is included. Experimental results exhibit that it is advantageous to control grid currents for a system with a delta connected LCL filter.

Deconvolution Filtering Method for All-pass Systems (전역통과 시스템에 대한 Deconvolution 필터링 기법)

  • In this paper, a deconvolution filtering method for all-pass systems based on FIR approximation is proposed. The proposed method enables us to obtain a causal stable deconvolution filter by FIR approximating a non-causal stable deconvolution filter to a causal stable one. As we can see in this paper, the impulse response of the deconvolution filter for all-pass system is simply the mirror image of the impulse response for all-pass system itself. Due to this symmetric property between all-pass system itself and its deconvolution Inter, this method can be applied to all-pass systems without special limitation of the system's order. In order to verify the performance of the proposed method. computer simulation results for 1st-, 2nd- and 400th-order all-pass systems are included.

  • 센서 네트워크에서 병합 질의를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 다양한 인-네트워크 질의 처리 기법이 제안되었다. 스카이라인 질의는 일반적인 병합 질의와 달리 다차원 데이터에 대한 비교를 요구하므로 인-네트워크 처리가 쉽지 않다. 스카이라인 질의를 에너지 효율적으로 처리하기 위해서 불필요한 데이터의 전송을 제거하는 것이 중요하다. 기존에 제안된 스카이라인 처리 기법은 전체 네트워크에 필터를 배포함으로써 불필요한 데이터 전송을 차단한다. 하지만 많은 False Positive 발생에 따른 불필요한 데이터 전송과 필터 배포시 발생하는 에너지 소모로 인해 네트워크의 수명이 단축된다. 본 논문에서는 필터 배포에 따른 에너지 소모를 줄이기 위한 방법으로 상향식 필터 설정을 통한 스카이라인 질의 처리 기법과 필터링 성능을 향상시키는 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 데이터를 수집하는 과정에서 스카이라인 필터테이블(SFT)설정하는 상향식 필터링을 수행한다. 그리고 선-필터링(Pre-filtering) 기법을 통해 필터효과를 증가시킨다. 제안하는 알고리즘의 우수성을 보이기 위해 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존에 제안된 MFTAC기법과 비교하였으며, 그 결과 평균 False Positive가 평균 84.44% 감소하였고, 네트워크 수명이 약 75.99% 증가하였다.
