Background : Development of rapid drug susceptibility testing provides the opportunity for rapid identification of individuals with drug resistant tubercle bacilli, allowing selection of appropriate therapeutic regimens. Methods : A total of 502 drug resistant isolates were subjected to reverse blot hybridization assay to detect mutations within genes (rpoB, katG, inhA, and ahpC) associated with rifampicin (RMP) and isoniazid (INH) resistance. Results : Among the 264 RMP resistant strains ($RMP^R$) tested, the most prevalent mutation was the Ser531Leu seen in 121 strains (46%). The second common mutation occurred in 84 strains (32%) at codon 526. And 27 strains (10%) showed the mutation at codon 516. Among all 469 INH resistant strains ($INH^R$), the katG mutation was responsible for INH. The inhA mutation was present in 88 strains (19%). In 11 isolates (2%), coexisting of the katG and inhA mutations were identified. Reverse hybridization assay successfully detected over 80% of $INH^R$ and over 92% of $RMP^R$ among Korean isolates. CONCLUSION: Reverse hybridization was useful for rapid detection of $INH^R$ and $RMP^R$.

This study describes not only meaning of transformable, i.e., new paradigm being expanded since the 1990's, but also nomadic thoughts being formation background of transformable. In this study, the concept of ‘transformable’ has dictionary definition and theoretical background expressing art, architecture and products, etc. The author has examined relations between nomadic thoughts and ‘transformable clothing’ by investigating the works of transformable clothing designers including Lucy Orta. The ‘transformable clothing’ means ‘clothing being transformable to meet some purposes’. Considering nomadic thoughts, 1.e., one of formation of transformable, the transformable clothing with nomadic thoughts can be transformed in various ways by usefulness and removal. The clothing has features of removal, escape and protection and has the values that can adapt itself to social circumstance and environment through the module system of separation, taking to pieces and assembling, etc. to suggest resonable clothing. Such a clothing cannot be settled down so that it shall be developed to let modern people move continuously as the 21th century nomad between real world and virtual world. However, this study did not examine internal meaning sufficiently because of main investigation objects of external expression, and was limited to nomadic thought at formation background. To improve such things, another study will be made in the future.

의료민사소송은 그동안 의료행위가 지니고 있는 전문성, 밀실성, 폐쇄성 등의 여러 가지의 특수성으로 인하여 소송이 장기화되고 경제적 비용이 상당하게 소모되었다. 또한 법원의 판결이 이루어지더라도 당사자들이 이를 신뢰하지 못하는 등의 이유로 신속성과 공정성에 문제점이 지적되었다. 이 때문에 소송 대체적 분쟁해결제도로서 의료사고 피해구제 및 의료분쟁 조정 등에 관한 법률상의 의료분쟁조정 및 중재 절차가 탄생하게 되었다. 그러나 의료분쟁조정법 제27조 제8항에서 피신청인이 14일 동안 의사를 표명하지 않는 경우 거부의사로 간주되고, 이 경우 한국의료분쟁조정중재원장이 각하결정을 하여야 한다고 규율함으로써, 조정의 개시 조차 순탄치 않은 것이 현실이다. 본고에서는 우리나라 의료분쟁의 최근 현황을 확인해 본 후, 의료분쟁조정법상 조정의 신청에 관한 조문인 제27조에 대한 입법안을 비교 점검한 후 다른 ADR 관련 법률이나 민사소송법상의 조문과 비교하여 불합리한 점이 있는지를 검토하고, 동조의 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 2013. 4. 8.부터 시행이 되고 있는 불가항력적 산과 사고에 대한 무과실보상제도와 관련하여 동조가 미치는 영향 등에 대해서도 논의하고자 한다.

Hazard risk of explosion on pharmaceutical raw materials dust in pharmaceutical industry often exists when it is handled or processed in the industrial sites, and explosion accident is caused by this. In this study, the dust explosion characteristics of the three pharmaceutical raw materials samples were measured. The main explosion characteristics are as follows: $P_{max}$, MIE and MIT of loxoprofen acid having $5.31^{\circ}C$ of median diameter are obtained 8.4 bar, 1 mJ < MIE < 3 mJ and $550^{\circ}C$. $P_{max}$, MIE and MIT of camphorsulfonate having $95.63^{\circ}C$ of median diameter are obtained 7.9 bar, 30 mJ < MIE < 100 mJ and $510^{\circ}C$. $P_{max}$, MIE and MIT of rifampicine having $26.48^{\circ}C$ of median diameter are obtained 7.9 bar and 1 mJ < MIE < 3 mJ and $470^{\circ}C$. The deflagration index ($K_{st}$) and the explosion index (EI) were obtained by using these data. The explosion hazard assessment of pharmaceutical raw materials dust was compared and examined. As a result, the explosion hazard assessment according to deflagration index and explosion index were the explosion class with St 2 and the explosion hazard rating of severe for loxoprofen acid & rifampicine and St 1 and strong for clopidogrel camphorsulfonate, respectively.

Bioequivalence test of commercially available rifampicin capsules was performed. Sixteen volunteers were divided into 2 groups and the reference and test drug were given orally (450 mg) by cross-over design. Statistical evaluation of AUC, $C_{max}\;and\;T_{max}$ involved an analysis of variance (ANOVA). The differences of mean value in AUC, $C_{max}\;and\;T_{max}$ between the reference and test drug were within 20% with reference drug. ANOVA showed no significant differences for ‘between group’, ‘drug’ and ‘period’, but not for ‘between subjects’. The power of test $(1-{\beta})\;of\;AUC\;and\;$C_{max}$ was larger than 0.8 and the confidence of bioavailability was $within\;{\pm}20%$. From these results, it was concluded that the two preparations were bioequivalent for AUC and $C_{max}$, but was not for $T_{max}$.

The purpose of this study is to identify the change in vegetation structure of a complementary forest through monitoring a natural complementary village forest. Because the most complementary village forests are located in the Jinan of all counties of South Korea, the naturally-managed Seochon complementary village forest of Jinan county was selected for monitoring the changes. In this study, it was found that Seochon Village, which was formed in the late 1800s as a refuge by Catholic believers, began to evolve and develop other parts of the forest for refugee purposes but that the forest around the stream's mouth remained intact and was conserved. The vegetational survey for monitoring was performed in 2002, 2007 and 2016. In field survey, D(Dominent degree) and S(Sociability degree) were measured by Brown-Blanquet's method. This study monitored the change of species richness and species composition and layer structure through an analysis of the field survey. As a result, it was found that the structure and function of the complementary village forest has been improved through reduced human disturbance. It was also found that a multi-layer structure has been more stable, species richness has been increased, and quality of species composition has been improved through natural succession.

In this study, glucose-inducible intergenic sequences were used to generate bioreporters of the cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 that could monitor environmental pollutants. Luciferase genes LuxAB from the marine bacterium Vibrio fischeri under the control of glucose-inducible intergenic seqeucens of eight genes (atpI, ndbA, ctaD1, tkt, pgi, pdh, ppc, and cydA) were successfully expressed in the cyano-bacterial transformants, showing 5-25 fold increases in biolumeniscence upon exposure to glucose. In addition, glucose-inducible cyanobacterial bioreporters were very sensitive to various chemicals such as heavy metals ($Hg^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$, $Zn^{2+}$), electron transport inhibitors (DCMU, DBMIB, $CN^-$), and antibiotics (chloramphenicol and rifampicin). These glucose-inducible cyanobacterial bioreporters would be useful to develop biosensors for rapid screening of environmental samples.

"Financial ADR" system in South Korea can be represented by so-called "Financial Dispute Resolution System", in which Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) and Financial Dispute Resolution Committee are the principal actors in operation of the system, and this is discussed as an "Administrative Financial ADR System". The system has over 10-year history since it was introduced in around 1999. Nonetheless, it was not until when financial consumer protection began to be highlighted after the 2008 financial crisis that Financial ADR system actually started to draw attention in Korea. This was because interest has been rising in "Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)" as an institutional measure to protect financial consumers damaged via financial transactions. However, the current discussion on the domestic Financial ADR system shows an aspect that it is confined to who is to be a principal actor for the operation of Financial ADR institution with main regards to reorganization of supervisory system. This article aims to embody these facts in an institutional model by recognizing them as a problem and analyzing the features of the Financial ADR system, thereby clarifying problems of the system and presenting the direction of improvement. The Korean Financial ADR system can be judged as "administrative model integrated model consensual model quasi-judicial model non-prepositive Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) model". However, at the same time, it is confronted with a task to overcome the two problems; the system is not equipped with institutional basis for securing its validity in spite of the adopted quasi-judicial effect model; and a burden of operating an integrated ADR system is considerable. From this perspective, the article suggests improvement plans for security of validity in the current system and for expansion of industry-control ADR system, in particular, a system of prepositive IDR model. Amongst them, it suggests further plans for securing the validity of the system as follows; promotion to expand the number of internal persons and to differentiate mediation procedures and effect; a plan to keep a financial institution from filing a lawsuit before an agreement recommendation or a mediation proposal is advised; and a plan to grant suspension of extinctive prescription as well as that of procedures of the lawsuit.
