The Real Scale Fire Test for Unit Space in Apratment housing (공동주택의 단위공간 실물화재실험)

  • 본 연구에서는 화재시 많은 인명피해가 예상되는 공동 주택을 대상으로 단위공간별 화재 성상을 예측하기 위한 실물화재실험을 실시하였다. 구성된 실물화재모델은 비교적 가연물량이 많은 침실과 화재 발생 위험도가 높은 주방을 대상으로 하였으며, 실험 모델에 구성된 단위품목은 일반주택의 가연물을 선조사 한 후 선정하였다. 실험결과 침실의 경우 점화 후 약 5분이 경과되었을 때 플래쉬오버 상태에 이르게 되어 매우 급격한 성장을 보였으며, 최대 열방출율 약 7433.3 kW, 최대 일산화탄소 578.6 ppm, 최대 이산화탄소 1.25ppm, 내부 최대온도 1350$^{\circ}$로 측정 되었다. 특히, 화재 발생 초기에 가연 공간에서 화재의 진화가 이루어지지 않으면 약 3분 내에 인체에 급격한 피해를 줄 수 있는 한계온도 이상으로 화재가 성장하기 때문에 신속한 초기 대응이 필요함을 확인하였다. 이러한 실물화 재실험에서 얻어낸 결과는 향후 화재확대 예측 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교함으로써 각 용도별 공간에서의 화재 확산 예측에 적용 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The purpose of this is to make sure what the scholar of the Choseon thought the object of aesthetics, and which psychological element did they use to clear the center of the aesthetics. In addition, I consider their way to recognize the human's aesthetic point of view. A literary man in Choseon regarded the five senses as an obstacle which interrupted to see the nature of all things. So they set up the spiritual condition as their aesthetic subject, with suppressing the pleasure through five senses. The goal to make one's mind calm was to cause someone's spirit to activate freely. The condition of the calmness was considered as a process of recovering the human's natural spirit, which was connected to the poetic spirit and became the aesthetic subject. Simultaneously, a literary man at that time set up the condition of the calmness as a subject of objective consciousness, and estimated the common things as a objective existence, which led to the result that all the materials of the poem and the poet could be unified. This aesthetic centra put a premium on the senses caused by contacting with all natural things, and adopted the 'Xing' as a method of expression. This 'Xing' is not a sense based upon one's experience, but a sense which is created of itself. The expression method of 'Xing' caused the reader to feel and express, encourage, and sublimate what they feel through the poem, as well as purified reader's mind.

  • Toson-Shibigok(Twelve Songs of Toson) which T'oegye, Yi Hwang, composed has received a lot of attention in terms of its educational implications. These implications have become the essential part of Gojeon Sigas(classic songs and poems), and solid evidence has also been accumulated in the literature. Therefore, the purposes of this study are twofold, that is 1) to explore the impact of T'oegye's fundamental structure of the first education at that time and 2) describe how these educational attitudes will eventually yield meta- educational values. What T'oegye meant by fundamental structure of the first education was that Sijos originated from his own experience should be the vital part of teaching method. One can say that T'oegye's teaching method is more integrative than that of modern literature education in that it includes songs. Not only using his own teaching method, but T'oegye tried to demonstrate his own literary structure to his colleagues and the future generations. In the end, Meta-Education which comprises the heart of recent educational theories well reflects Toegye's theoretical propositions. Rather than giving practical knowledge, his method offers the paradigms of thought patterns and shows the learners' attitudes in approaching the truth. Moreover, T'oegye's teaching method has become a good example to the future generations as well as his contemporary followers. In sum, although a lot of years have passed since he died, T'oegye's Sijo works and life still have invaluable impact on the field of education.

A NAND Flash File System for Sensor Nodes to support Data-centric Applications (데이터 중심 응용을 지원하기 위한 센서노드용 NAND 플래쉬 파일 시스템)

  • Recently, energy-efficient NAND Flash memory of large volume is favored as next-generation storage for sensor nodes. So far, most sensor node file systems are based on NOR flash and few file systems are applicable to large NAND flash memory. Although it is required to develop new file systems taking account of the features of NAND flash memory, it is difficult to develop them mainly due to the limit of SRAM memory on sensor nodes. Sensor nodes support SRAM of $4{\sim}10$ KBytes only. In this paper, we designed and implemented a novel file system to support data-centric applications. To do this, we added EEPROM of 1 KBytes to store persistent file description data efficiently and devised a simple wear-leveling method. This reduces the number of page updates, resulting in reduction in energy use and increase in lifetime of sensor nodes.

Synthesis and Application of Melamine-Type Superplasticizer at the Different Synthetic Conditions (멜라민계 고유동화제의 다양한 조건에서의 합성 및 응용)

  • It is well known that the fluidity and the fluidity loss of fresh concrete are affected by the kind of organic admixtures. Organic admixture can improve the properties of concrete. Sulfonated Naphthalene-Formaldehyde(SNF) Superplasticizer is used representatively, but has a problem in fluidity loss. In this study, we synthesized the Sulfonated Melamine-Formaldehyde(SMF) superplasticizer at the various synthetic conditions and compared the physical properties with SMF superplasticizer. SW superplasticizer is synthesized with four synthetic steps. Step 1 is hydroxymethylation, Step. 2 is Sulfonation, Step. 3 is Polymerization and Step. 4 is Stabilization. Synthesis of SMF superplasticizer depends on pH, temperature and reaction time. In this reaction, we changed the mole ratio of melamine to formaldehyde at 1:3, 1:4, and the amount of acid catalyst at Step. 3. After application of SMF superplasticizer and its mixture with SNF superplasticizer to cement pastes and mortars, we measured the physical properties of them at the different dosages(0.5, 1.0, 1.5 wt%) to cement. All samples including superplasticizer showed higher compressive strengths and slump, smaller pore size and porosity than CEM

Variable Quad Rate ADPCM for Efficient Speech Transmission and Real Time Implementation on DSP (효율적인 음성신호의 전송을 위한 4배속 가변 변환율 ADPCM기법 및 DSP를 이용한 실시간 구현)

  • In this paper, we proposed quad variable rates ADPCM coding method for efficient speech transmission and real time porcessing is implemented on TMS320C6711-DSP. The modified ADPCM with four variable coding rates, 16[kbps], 24[kbps], 32[kbps] and 40[kbps] are used for speech window samples for good quality speech transmission at a small data bits and real time encoding and decoding is implemented using DSP. ZCR is used to identify the influence of the noise on the speech signal and to decide the rate change threshold. For noise superior signals, low coding rates are applied to minimize data bit and for noise inferior signals, high coding rates are applied to enhance the speech quality. In most speech telecommunications, silent period takes more than half of the signals, speech quality close to 40[kbps] can be obtained at comparabley low data bits and this is shown by simulation and experiments. TMS320C6711-DSK board has 128K flash memory and performance of 1333MIPS and has meets the requirements for real time implementation of proposed coding algorithm.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of the e-learning courseware which is about the properties of earth environmental change. I made these materials using Lectora program, and to have more visual effect, I used movies and animations as much as possible. A lot of movies and pictures are added to help student understand the geographical age. Especially the forms of performance test questions are various, and student can check the answer right after taking test. Because of this, they can get a immediate feedback. In addition, this allows you to adapt yourself to the age of information by using the internet. Every plug-in is already linked together, so you only need to once. Pictures and moving reflections can be edited with ease. I hope this study will provide valuable aid for the education of earth science and a chance to develop better materials.

Development and Application of Internet-based Consumer Education Program for Children (인터넷 기반 아동소비자 교육프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • This study presents a development of internet-based consumer education program for children. We also investigate how this program affects on the children's consumer competency and how much children are interested in this program. This program consists of 6 domains: the concept of consumer. wants and scarcity. advertisement, tips on purchasing. consumer's rights. and consumer's problem imd solutions. In order to attract children. multimedia data such as pictures. drawings. and animations were included in designing the screens. The subjects of this study were 40 children at forth grade to participate in consumer education program. Surveys were conducted twice to collect data for consumer competency and children's interest in the program. According to the results of t-test. We found that consumer education has a positive effect on consumer knowledge and consumer-role attitude but has not a positive effect on consumer skill. We also found that children's interest on this program was very high.

  • In this paper, a low-power 1Kb synchronous EEPROM is designed with flash cells for passive UHF RFID tag chips. To make a low-power EEPROM, four techniques are newly proposed. Firstly, dual power supply voltages VDD(1.5V) and VDDP(2.5V), are used. Secondly, CKE signal is used to remove switching current due to clocking of synchronous circuits. Thirdly, a low-speed but low-power sensing scheme using clocked inverters is used instead of the conventional current sensing method. Lastly, the low-voltage, VDD for the reference voltage generator is supplied by using the Voltage-up converter in write cycle. An EEPROM is fabricated with the $0.25{\mu}m$ EEPROM process. Simulation results show that power dissipations are $4.25{\mu}W$ in the read cycle and $25{\mu}W$ in the write cycle, respectively. The layout area is $646.3\times657.68{\mu}m^2$.

Development of a CD Program Applied Logotherapy for Psycho.Spiritual Care of Late Adolescents with Terminal Cancer (청소년 후기 말기 암 환자의 정서적.영적 돌봄을 위한 의미요법 CD 프로그램 개발)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a CD program of applied logotherapy for psycho spiritual care of late adolescents with terminal cancer. Methods: Keller & Song's ARCS theory and a model for developing learning materials was applied to develop this program composed four distinct phases: planning, designing, developing, and evaluation stages. Results: This program was entitled 'Finding meaning in my life' and consisted of 5 sessions and its educational contents were made up as follows: "First Secret" is 'learning three natures of the human mind', "Second Secret" is 'learning creative values first method to find meaning of life', "Third Secret" is 'learning experiential value as second method to find meaning of life', "Fourth Secret" is 'learning attitudinal value as third method to find meaning of life', and "Fifth Secret" is 'Becoming the master of my life'. The sub-menu was made up of 'Beginning', 'Opening mind', 'Learning'. 'Laughing Song', 'Experiencing'. Conclusion: This CD program applied logotherapy with flash animation technique as an emotional and spiritual nursing intervention program for easier and more scientific application in pediatric oncology and hospice care area.
