We propose efficient speech signal processing algorithms and a system for cochlear implant in this paper. The outer and the middle car which perform amplifying, lowpass filtering and AGC, are modeled by an analog system, and the inner ear acting as a time-delayed multi filter and the transducer is implemented by the DSP circuit which enables real-time processing. Especially, the basilar membrane characteristic of the inner ear is modeled by a nonlinear filter bank, and then tonotopy and periodicity of the auditory system is satisfied by using a pitch-synchronous multi-spectra(PSMS) method. Moreover, most of the speech processing is performed by S/W so the system can be easily modified. And as our program is written in C-language, it can be easily transplanted to the system using other processors.

The future warfare is known as an effective centric paralysis warfare where military high technologies such as pinpoint strikes are applied. In this future warfare, for supporting military operation leadership and power of concentration in the combat, a new concept of logistic support is required and the focused logistic is proposed as an alternative. To implement this focused logistic, asset visibility should be assumed for every combat units in real time. However, current logistic information systems provide only limited information. In this study, a prototype information system for class 2 and 4 supplies is proposed for overcome limitations of current information system. The developed prototype zooms in on combat units providing business process integrations and logistic function synchronization. Also, asset visibility, the essential element of focused logistics, is presented and utilized to show the speedy and effective logistic support.

In the AMP(Asymmetric Multiprocessing) based dual core using core-specific operating system in a single processor system, shared memory method is used to send data between processors in dual core. To used shared memory in different operating systems, there is a problem of needing to solving the issue of message communication and synchronization between the two operations systems. In this paper, separate memory controller was used for data sharing between different processor cores in dual core environment. This controller can designate two slave ports to allow simultaneous access from two processors, and in the case of process data simultaneously by two processors, priority order of slave ports is determined through memory mediator. When sending data from A to B processor, SRAM area was logically separated into 8 pages. It allowed using memory area from multiple processes with the size of 4KByte per page, and control register with the size of 4Byte was used to discern the usability of current page.

As Network Slicing functionality gets applied to mobile networking, a mechanism that enables the selection of network slices becomes indispensable. Following the 3GPP Technical Specification for the 5G Architecture, the inclusion of the Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF) in order to leverage the process of slice selection is apparent. However, actual implementation of this network function needs to deal with the dynamic changes of network instances, due to this, a platform that supports the orchestration of Virtual Network Functions (VNF) is required. Our proposed solution include the use of the Central Office Rearchitected as a Data Center (CORD) platform, with the specified profile for mobile networks (M-CORD) that integrates a service orchestrator (XOS) alongside solutions oriented to Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (VNF) and virtual machine management through OpenStack, in order to provide the right ecosystem where our implementation of NSSF can obtain slice information dynamically by relying on synchronization between back-end services and network function instances.

In the construction of high-rise residential buildings in which the finishing works are done repetitively in each housing unit, the construction period and cost can be reduced, while maintaining the quality, if the work process is properly managed in order for the resources to be input continuously. Time management methods such as the Bar Chart, CPM and LOB are not appropriate, due to the difficulties involved in the diagraming of repetitive works and applying them to the project. The Tact method also has difficulties in maintaining a constant work flow and needs significant effort and cooperation from the subcontractors to allocate the resources consistently. Partitioning, base works for finishing, floor mortar plastering and the final finishing work are done sequentially in residential buildings projects, and there are many repetitive activities which differ in terms of the work method, work area and productivity. If these repetitive activities are synchronized or converged toward the last work area, the goal of process management can be achieved effectively. Therefore, a process planning method for the finishing works of residential building projects is proposed, which takes into consideration elements, such as the sequential relation between the activities in each housing unit and classification of repetitive works in terms of their management method, work area and production rate, for the continuous input of resources into the housing units.
This study aims to analyze the types and roles of visualization materials presented in the third- and fourth-grade national and authorized science textbooks based on the 2015 revised curriculum. Using the type and role framework, 17 chapters were analyzed. The analysis revealed, first, that the national and authorized textbooks had different total amounts of visualization data and total amounts of simple illustrations. However, no difference in the amounts of simple illustrations and infographics used in the units was evident. The units that used the most infographics were Life, Earth and Universe, in that order, in both the national and the authorized textbooks. Second, simple illustrations were observed to have role differences according to the type of visualization data, but infographics had no such differences. Specifically, the motivational role in a simple illustration increased in all the authorized textbooks. Third, looking at the frequencies of the infographic subtypes, the Process, Structure, Comparative Analysis, and Timeline types accounted for 86% of the total, but the proportions of those subtypes varied in the national and authorized textbooks. Based on the results of this study, I suggest that to achieve differentiation in the types or roles of visualization materials, changes in the types, processes, and skills of inquiry must first occur, as must changes in the structure of chapters or lessons. Continuous research and discussion on the standards and methods for authorized textbooks are also needed.
This study aimed to reveal that a local city was recreated by tourism, and to discover a general process in which the regional identity as a tourist destination was reconstructed. Specifically, firstly, this study suggested that the social construction of cultural tourist destinations was composed of a series of dynamic stages such as 'reinterpretation', 'institutionalization', and 'recognition' conceptually. Secondly, the dynamic stages were analyzed on the ethnographic study of Otaru where the movement of preservation of the historical canal was raised and strategies to attract tourism had been implemented. Thirdly, a main mechanism acting on each stage was examined. In conclusion, it was shown that the region was reinterpreted through the politics of identity and the meaning was institutionalized through political and economic negotiation. Moreover, while being established as a constructed authenticity by politics of memory, the regional identity was embedded in the socio-spatial consciousness constantly.
The advancement of digital technology accelerates intelligence, convergence, and demands better change beyond traditional methods in all aspects of business models and technologies, infrastructure, processes, and platforms. Risk management is becoming more important because of various security risks, depending on the changing business environment and aligned to business goals is emerging from the existing information asset based risk management. For business aligned risk management, it is essential to understand the risk appetite for achieving business goals, which provides a basis for decision-making in subsequent risk management processes. In this paper, we propose a framework for analyzing the risk management framework, pre - existing risk analysis, and protection motivation theory that influences decisions on security risk management. To examine the practical feasibility of the developed risk appetite framework, we reviewed the applicability and significance of the proposed risk appetite framework through an advisory committee composed of security risk management specialists.

Preventing the forgery and alteration of test reports is important, in order to maintain the reliability of military supplies. Based on a survey of reports on testing institutions and a case study of established electronic document systems in the public sector, we propose a system architecture, which helps prevent the forgery and alteration of test reports with legal force. The proposed architecture takes advantage of both the time stamp that records the time a document is received and a server synchronized with the testing institution. Using the proposed system architecture, the user is able to request a test and receive reports from the testing institution without delay. Also, a defense agency is able to conveniently prove the authenticity of the test reports and utilize the statistical data collected by the architecture. Therefore, we expect that the proposed system architecture will help defense agencies to prevent the forgery and alteration of test reports and ensure their reliability and quality.
