The purpose of this study was to suggest possibility of adaptation of course-embedded assessment for program outcome in engineering education through literature review on concept, benefits, adaptation process, case study in higher education of course-embedded assessment. The model of course-embedded assessment was given with consideration for each step, that is, set up of program outcomes, check of related courses, selection of assessment tools, set up of performance criteria, implementation of course-embedded assessment, and analysis of results. Some prerequisites were given to set up course-embedded assessment successfully in engineering education field of Korea.

It is said that traditional formative evaluation method does not fit in web based learning system because of inefficiency and improper data collecting techniques. This study is to demonstrate alternative formative evaluation method fit in web based learning system. In alternative evaluation, Participant, data collecting techniques and data are different from each web based program development process. As a conclusion, this alternative evaluation method may promote effectiveness and quality of web based program.

The purpose of this study was to develop a dietary life education program for adolescents and evaluate its effectiveness. The program was divided into three areas: 'Natam' (taste education), 'Wetam' (traditional dietary life education), and 'Gitam' (sustainable dietary life education), consisting of a total of 10 units primarily focused on cooking activities. For participants aged 14~17 years, face-to-face pilot education was conducted by a trained instructor once a week for 10 weeks. A questionnaire survey was performed to evaluate the educational effect(n=72) and satisfaction(n=82) during education period. Significant improvements were observed in knowledge levels for the 'traditional dietary life education', and 'sustainable dietary life education' which were identified as insufficient in the preliminary survey. Attitude and behavior levels were significantly improved across all areas. Satisfaction was high with a score of 4 out of 5 points for all areas. In conclusion, this program was found to be effective, and further emphasis should be placed on traditional and sustainable dietary life education to enhance its impact.

Public libraries and the Library & Information Sciences departments at Korean universities are increasingly interested in the application of a variety of bibliotherapy methods. Bibliotherapy serves as a therapy to understand a client and participants basic material sources and the effects of that particular treatment (necessary for program verification of psychological tools utilized). Its design is based both on literature selection and employed activities tools. Currently, bibliotherapy has been used mainly as a method to understand and diagnose a client and participants using simple and uniform questions. The development of appropriate and, possibly, additional assessment tools and report forms required for bibliotherapy evaluations in this study will be applied to actual case scenarios to determine the validity of this program and/or tools.

The purpose of this study is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of invention education by presenting basic evaluation criteria that can be used when designing and preparing invention education programs in various educational institutions that operate invention education. The results of this study are as follows. First, the stage of the Invention Education Program was named '4P stage' as 4 stages of 'Planning, Preparation, Process, and Product'. Second, the areas of evaluation of the planning stage of the invention education program are 'goal setting, demand analysis' and curriculum design. The preparatory stage evaluation area is 'Developing an Invention Education Program, Securing Human Resources, Securing Physical Resources'. The evaluation area of the course level is 'program operation, program management, learner management'. The evaluation area of the calculation stage is 'education performance, achievement results, and education evaluation'. Invention education program evaluation criteria will play a role to enhance and manage the quality of invention education program. In addition, it is judged that this will be the basic data for developing evaluation criteria for the invention education program through the reconciliation process through reflux and the validation process of related experts at various invention education institutions.

This study was aimed at examining the effect of the intergenerational program on the attitudes and intimacy between the elderly and children. The pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used. The subjects were 232 old persons and 1,687 infants or children. The experimental programs was composed of 232 programmes focused on the education by the elderly and each program was implemented for three months and over. The results of this study showed that the attitude toward other generation of the elderly and children was changed significantly positive and the intimacy between two generations was increased significantly higher after participating in the experimental programmes. Based on the results, the various long-term intergenerational programmes need to be developed and implemented.

본 논문에서는 지금까지 각각 독립적으로 운전되었던 동북아시아(대한민국, 북한, 러시아) 전력시스템이 계통 연계를 통하여 얻을 수 있는 경제적 효과에 대한 평가 프로그램의 개발에 대하여 설명한다. 본 평가 프로그램의 목적는 향후 동북아 전력시스템의 계통 연계시 각 나라들의 발전소 건설 및 운용, 그리고 연계설비(Tie line)의 투자비용을 최소화할 수 있는 방안을 찾아 내는 것이다. 이를 통해 독립적으로 운전되는 것에 비해 계통연계를 통한 것이 보다 높은 경제적인 효과를 거둘 수 있음을 최종적으로 보이고자 한다. 문제를 좀 더 쉽고 빠르며 효과적으로 풀기 위하여 신규 발전설비와 연계선로에 대한 계획측면의 변수와 발전양와 선로에 흐르는 조류양의 제약 그리고 각 노드에서의 전력수급 조건 둥의 운전측면의 변수를 함께 포함시킨 선형 계획법 (LP, Linear Programming) 모델 로 정식화한 뒤 최적화 프로그램인 CPLEX를 통하여 해를 구한다.

The importance of utilizing an effective reward program has been emphasized as a tool for promotional strategies to acquire and retain customers. When consumers participate in a reward frequency program, they tend to focus more on points or mileage than the actual reward itself. This phenomenon is what Hsee, Yu, Zhang, and Zhang (2003) called "medium maximization." In this article, we hypopthesize that the medium effect may disappear when there is a close relationship between the product and the reward as it evokes the correlation of the two directly. The results of the current research show that the medium effect disappears in a strong relation condition while it does exist in a weak relation condition. Furthermore, we found that these results cannot be explained under an alternative "evaluability hypothesis" as Hsee, Loewenstein, Blount, and Bazerman (1999) and Hsee (1996) claimed. Even when we provided price range information as well as medium information, the medium effect still occurred. In this article, we explored boundary conditions for the medium effect and demonstrated the moderating effect of the relationship between products and rewards. Practical implications of the findings were also discussed for designing separate reward programs.

웹 2.0시대를 맞이하여 사용자가 콘텐츠 및 동영상을 직접 만들어 참여하고 공유하는 방향으로 바뀌었고 각종 포털사이트에서도 동영상 사이트를 제공함으로써 동영상 UCC가 대중화될 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 동영상 UCC를 만들기 위해 제작, 편집, 등 프로그램 특성에 따라 효율적인 효과를 거둘 수 있을지 몇 가지 프로그램에 관해 편집 편리성, 제작 파일의 크기, 렌더링 소요 시간, 등을 사진 콘텐츠를 이용하여 비디오 전환 효과, 비디오 효과, 사운드 등을 이용하여 프로그램에 따른 장단점을 비교하였다. 프로그램 별로 실험 성능 평가 및 분석한 결과 무비메이커와 베가스 프로그램들이 비 전문가로서 전문가 못지않은 손쉽게 동영상 콘텐츠제작 및 동영상 UCC를 만들 수 있는 좋은 프로그램으로 여러 장점들을 갖고 있음을 나타내었다.

Objective : The current study investigated the effectiveness of group occupational activity program in increasing visual-perception and motor function of children in Community Children Center. Methods : Five children aged between 6-9 years in a community children center participated in the group occupational activity program. The program was designed to facilitate children's visual-perception and motor function based on play occupations. We examined performances of MVPT-3 and BOT-2 before and after the program. Results : Children who participated in the group program showed significant increases in visual perception and motor function. Conclusion : The study revealed the effectiveness of group occupational activity program in promoting visual perception and motor function of children in a community children center, which suggests the possibility of application of occupational activity toward low-income children in the community.
