  • In this paper we analyse how school mathematics terminologies have been changed from the syllabus period to the 2007 curriculum. For this we survey the school mathematics terminologies which have been used since the syllabus period on the 2007 curriculum basis, analyse changes in expression of those, and look through to the characteristics of mathematics terminologies for each curriculum period.

  • This study alms at developing the basic substance of education in Creating in 2- Dimentional Space, Which will make it possible to express and pursue creating which is appropriate for the characteristics of computer graphic as well as the technical side of the creating shape using computer in the established basic educational programs of the field, Thus in this study, I will put the concepts of creating shape relevant to various expression media in order. Based on this, I will clarify the potential of utilizing computer graphics and the extent to which they can applied, The purpose of this study lies 10 understanding computer as a means of creating and revealing the possibility for broadening the boundary of the establishd creating, For this, I am gOlOg to propose a plan for the education of Creating 10 2-Dimentional Space, limiting myself to the area relevant to computer graphics.

A study on the transition of the representations of numbers and mathematical symbols in Joseon mathematics (조선산학의 수학적 표현의 변천에 대한 고찰 - 수와 연산, 문자와 식 영역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the transition of mathematical representation in Joseon mathematics, which is focused on numbers and operations, letters and expressions. In Joseon mathematics, there had been two numeral systems, one by chinese character and the other by counting rods. These systems were changed into the decimal notation which used Indian-Arabic numerals in the late 19th century passing the stage of positional notation by Chinese character. The transition of the representation of operation and expressions was analogous to that of representation of numbers. In particular, Joseon mathematics represented the polynomials and equations by denoting the coefficients with counting rods. But the representation of European algebra was introduced in late Joseon Dynasty passing the transitional representation which used Chinese character. In conclusion, Joseon mathematics had the indigenous representation of numbers and mathematical symbols on our own. The transitional representation was found before the acceptance of European mathematical representations.

  • 지식 정보화 사회, 인터넷 매체의 시대로 접어들면서 컴퓨터와 관련 기술의 발달은 학습의 범위를 이라 불리는 가상공간까지 확대하였고, 교육에 있어서도 사이버 학교 시대가 도래하여 국어 교육도 변화를 필요로 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학생들의 흥미를 유발할 수 있으며 즐겁게 학습할 수 있는 웹 콘텐츠를 제작하여 활용함으로써 교과서 속 원작동화를 찾아 읽어보고, 다양한 독후 표현 활동을 통해 학생들의 문학 감상 능력과 표현능력의 신장을 꾀 할 수 있도록 국어과 읽기 교과서에 있는 54편의 동화내용 중 각 학년 6편씩 36편의 동화내용의 원작 작품을 찾아 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 콘텐츠를 활용하면 학생들의 문학 감상 능력 및 표현 능력의 신장에 효과적일 것이라 기대된다.

Analysis of Dance Education Content in Elementary School Physical Education Textbooks (초등학교 체육교과서 무용교육 내용 분석)

  • This study was to analyze the related contents by securing 32 volumes of 8 types of physical education textbooks for grades 3, 4, 5, 6 that are being used in the school field for the revitalization of dance education. As a result, the 3rd grade expression area organized textbooks focusing on movement language and expression elements. For the 4th grade, most textbooks suggested gymnastics using balls, hoops, and ribbons. In the 5th grade, Ganggangsullae and Mask dance were suggested in relation to Korean folk dances, and Tinikling and Gustaf's skoal suggested in relation to foreign folk dances. had been In the case of 6th graders, the exploration of expression elements and the expression process were presented in relation to thematic expression, and the subject expression was made possible with a focus on creative gymnastics. Also, line dance among practical dances was presented in most textbooks. Despite the importance of the expression domain, field teachers at school are complaining of difficulties in teaching and learning due to various internal and external problems. The need for activation is raised in that the expression domain can exert effects in all cognitive, mental, and affective domains.

  • For the students who live in the knowledge-information oriented society, thinking rationally and training mathematical communication ability are necessary. I represented three ways of teaching-learning related to mathematical communication in revised 2006 curriculum of elementary mathematics. In this study, based on three matters from devised curriculum, I have done survey-analysis of mathematical representation and characteristics of contents of major theses about mathematical communication published after 2007 curriculum revision, for further mathematical communication teaching.

  • 인터넷과 웹과 같은 정보사회의 교육환경 변화에 따른 교육정보의 교류 수요의 급속한 증가에 따라 교육정보 자료에 대한 메타데이터의 표준이 필요하게 되었다. 이에 따라 국내에서는 개별적으로 개발되고 있는 교육정보 자료를 통합적으로 공유, 재사용하기 위하여 KEM(Korea Education Metadata) Ver 2.0을 한국교육학술정보원에서 개발하였다. 또한 해외에서는 최근 급증하고 있는 멀티미디어 데이터의 적절한 표현을 위하여 MPEG-7 표준이 제정되었다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 형태의 교육정보 자료 중에서 교육정보 이미지에 대한 검색시스템을 설계하였다. 본 검색시스템의 설계는 한국교육학술정보원에서 개발된 KEM Ver 2.0을 수용하기 위하여 교육정보 이미지의 메타데이터 표현을 KEM Ver 2.0에서 제안된 메타 데이터 표현을 MEPG-7으로 확장한 XML 스키마를 사용하였다. KEM Ver 2.0 기반의 high-level 메타데이터와 MEPG-7 기반의 low-level 메타데이터를 이용함에 따라 국내에서 사용되는 교육정보 이미지의 상호교환 뿐 아니라 체계적이고 빠른 검색과 추출이 가능할 것이다.

  • This study analyzed the meaning and functions of '-(으)ㄹ 것 같다' and '-나 보다' among the various semantic functions depending on the situation, and discussed ways to train speculative expressions more efficiently by expanding them from traditional teaching methods through visualizations applied visual thinking at real Korean language education. The speculative representation, which is the subject of this study, represents the speaker's speculation about something or situation, with slight differences in meaning depending on the basis of the speculation and the subject of the speculation. We propose a training method that can enhance the diversification and efficiency of teaching-learning through visualization of information or knowledge, speculative representations that exhibit fine semantic differences in various situations. Utilizing visual thinking in language education can simplify and provide language information through visualization of language knowledge, and learners can be efficient at organizing and organizing language knowledge. It also has the advantage of long-term memory of language information through visualization of language knowledge. Attempts of various educational methods that can be applied at the Korean language education site can contribute to establishing a more systematic and efficient education method, which is meaningful in that the visual thinking proposed in this study can give interest and efficiency to international students.

A Study on the 6th Graders' Use of Visual Representations in Mathematical Problem Solving (수학 문제 해결과정에서 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 시각적 표현에 관한 연구)

  • Visual representations play an important role for students to understand the meaning of a given problem, devise problem-solving approaches, and implement them successfully. The purpose of this study was to investigate how 6th graders would use visual representations in solving mathematical problems and in what ways such use might affect successful problem solving. The results showed that many students preferred numerical expressions to visual representations. However, students who used visual representations, specifically schematic representations, performed better than those who employed numerical representations. Given this, this paper includes instructional implications to nurture students' use of visual representations in a way to increase their problem solving ability.

  • The early stage of Korean language education was to understand grammar. However, recent Korean language education aims to improve expressive ability for smooth communication. Hence, educational drama for education has gained attention as one of the effective ways of improving communication skills. Educational drama provides an actual conversational situation in which one can use appropriate words and grammar depending on the situation. Non-verbal expression such as body language and facial expression could be picked up so one also improves one's communicative abilities naturally. This means that educational drama shares Korean language education's goal of improving communicative ability. Moreover, the student becomes the core of the activity and finds solutions through cooperation with others, and this also helps improve social skills and self-esteem. This thesis covers methods of having interviews, re-writing texts to scripts, writing up post-script by imagining the following text, role-playing, and improving expressive ability by debating educational theatrical techniques. To make these activities successful, good quality VOD and learning materials shall be developed and used. Also, efficient training programs shall be created so that teachers make use of what they learn and improve their teaching skills.
