The purpose of this study is to present a model for Christian peace education requested in the era of globalization. Globalization increases interdependence and unifies the global economy due to the development of innovative communication and transportation systems. The world is currently experiencing a period of unlimited competition without borders. Globalization has promoted growth and development, but has also caused problems. In the face of this absence of peace, this study was conducted to determine whether a Christian understanding of peace and peace education can serve as a way to overcome the challenges facing modern society and to meet people's desire for peace. It examines the concept of globalization and the situation of the absence of peace due to problems in the era of globalization, and examines the concept of peace and peace education from a Christian perspective. After that, the concept of Christian peace required in the era of globalization and the peace capability to be strengthened in peace education will be presented, and how to proceed. The christian peace education model strengthens students' peace capabilities which can be used to build a peaceful future world. The purpose of christian peace education in the face of globalization is to develop a peaceful relationship with oneself, others, the world, and the environment. The goal of christian peace education is to cultivate peaceful human beings by strengthening their peace capabilities, namely peace sensitivity, nonviolent communication, and peace imagination. This study's significance is that it presented an christian peace christian education model that strengthens learners' peace capabilities through a biblical and theological approach in the face of non-peaceful situations arising as a result of globalization.

In the 21st century, the global security environment has undergone rapid changes, presenting South Korea with complex security dilemmas. This study aims to explore a new national security strategy for South Korea through the implementation of 'Positive Peace.' Based on Johan Galtung's concept of 'Positive Peace,' the study proposes a comprehensive approach to build sustainable peace by redesigning the peace process on the Korean Peninsula, establishing a multilateral security cooperation framework in Northeast Asia, expanding global peace contributions, promoting domestic social integration, and spreading a culture of peace. To realize these goals, the study discusses the need to redefine the role of the military, reallocate defense budgets, introduce the concept of a peace dividend, promote the peaceful use of science and technology, and legislate for the realization of the right to peace. The implementation of a 'Positive Peace' strategy aims to transform South Korea into a leading nation in peace, contributing to the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula, Northeast Asia, and the global community.

This study aims to explore the direction and tasks of Christian unification education as peace education. To this end, after examining the historical trend of peace education and unification education in Korea, the tasks of peaceful unification education are reviewed. Peace education has expanded with the activation of peace movements and educational discourse starting from civil society, while unification education has been planned in accordance with the government's unification and North Korea policy and is moving toward the field of education practice. However, due to the nature of unification education that aspires for peace, the combination of the two fields has continued steadily, and research on peace unification education has been continuously conducted. The direction and tasks of Christian unification education as peace education were proposed based on the tasks of peace unification education derived through prior research analysis and the trend of the times in the two areas to carry out the research purpose. For the sustainability of peace on the Korean Peninsula, Christian unification education as a peace education should aim to foster peaceful citizens who take the lead in transitioning from a culture of violence to a culture of peace. To this end, first, it is necessary to seek the direction of Christian education for the dissolution of the antagonist image. Second, activities that guarantee learners' subjectivity and autonomy should be carried out away from the top-down method in teaching and learning. Third, a curriculum connected to daily life should be formed.

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively check trends in policies, discourses, educational directions and contents, and social issues by deriving the subjective characteristics of peace education and unification education based on big data analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, 'peace', 'unification', 'education', 'research', 'student', 'school', 'teacher', 'target', and 'Korean Peninsula' were commonly important keywords in peace education and unification education. Second, the top topic of peace education was 'peace education and civic education', and the top topic of unification education was ' sympathy and participation in unification education'. Third, topics that show an upward trend by regime in peace education were 'World Peace and Human Rights' and 'Object and Direction of Peace Education', and 'Subject of Unification Education' as topics that showed an upward trend by regime in unification education. Fourth, in peace education, the centrality of 'peace', 'education', 'student', 'school', and 'peace education' was high, and in unification education, 'unification', 'education', 'unification', 'school', and 'teacher' were high. Based on these results, it was intended to expand the horizon of understanding peace education and unification education, and to provide meaningful implications for establishing policies and conducting follow-up studies.

일본의 종교계는 2001년에 일어난 미국에서의 동시다발적 테러사건 이후, 적극적으로 평화를 위한 활동에 뛰어 들었다. 가령 뉴욕에 본부를 두고 있는 세계종교자 평화회의(WCRP)는 일본 종교교단들이 상당히 깊숙이 관여하고 있는 세계적 규모의 종교협력단체로서, 미국에 의한 보복공격의 억제를 꾸준히 그리고 강력하게 호소해 왔다. 1970년에 설립된 이 세계종교자 평화회의의 설립자 가운데 한 사람이자, 30여년에 걸쳐 지도적인 역할을 수행해 온 인물로서 입정교성회(立正佼成會)의 개조인 니와노 닛쿄(庭野日敬)를 들 수 있다. 니와노는 1930년에 법화경에 의한 선조 공양의 가르침을 깨달은 후, 불교의 핵심이 이타행 실천에 있다고 가르치면서 열심히 포교활동을 계속해 왔다. 1950년대 이후에는 종교협력과 사회참여에 적극적으로 전념했으며, 그 결과 입정교성회의 종교활동 전체 속에 평화운동이 큰 부분을 차지하게 되었다. 니와노는 불교의 가르침이야말로 평화를 실현하기 위한 핵심적인 사상을 담고 있다고 설한다. 즉 자연과 타자 사이에 조화로운 관계가 유지되도록 평화의 마음을 실현해야 한다는 가르침이 그것이다. 특히 분노와 질투와 공격적인 마음을 가지지 말며, 자비의 마음으로 타자를 대면하는 것이 중요하다는 것이다. 그는 이것이 우주 본래의 실재와 합치함으로써 가능하다고 주장한다. 이처럼 모든 것이 일치할 수 있다고 굳게 믿는 니와노는 종교협력이 평화실현에 있어 중요한 방법이라고 간주한다. 그런데 니와노가 '평화주의국가 일본'이라는 이념에 많은 부분을 의거하고 있기는 하지만, 이런 이념이 과거의 전쟁에 대한 일본의 충분한 반성에 입각한 것인지는 의문의 여지가 있다. 나아가 그는 상이한 종교간의 일치 가능성에 대해 다소 낙관적이며, 또한 불교와 동양사상이 평화를 지향한다는 이해에 대한 비판적인 성찰이 미약하다는 한계를 안고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 일본의 민속적 종교토양에서 생겨난 종교적 평화주의의 이상 및 실천으로서, 니와노 닛쿄와 입정교성회에 대해서는 충분히 검토해 볼 만한 가치가 있다고 여겨진다.

Purpose of this study is to develop the proceeding strategies for establishing of the DMZ World Peace Park in Korea which is one of projects of the Park Geun-hye's Government. We basically dissolute the conflict between the South and North Korea, and we build the atmosphere reconciliations and cooperation between two Koreas, and go forward the peaceful unification. And thus we make ultimately the world peace and establish enduring peace in the Korean Peninsula. Through the analysis the 8 proceeding strategies. Results of this study, I verified possibility of proceeding for establishing of the DMZ World Peace Park, and urgent need of policy development and support by the local governments, and we need to start the project in the South first.

Last year, a new perception of the right to peace on the Korean Peninsula was adopted: DMZ Yanggu Peace Declaration 2021. The Declaration reflects that there is a raising of necessity for a new perception and approach from the perspective of DMZ-related laws, sustainable ecological environment and security. Gangwon is making considerable efforts to make the border area in DMZ as an area of peace by continuously enhancing publicity on the establishment of the 'Peace Special Self-Governing Province'. This study suggests the necessity of a paradigm shift towards the significance of the interkorean border region that it should function as a passage between the South and the North rather than a dam. For, to be renewed as a sustainably developing region through newly constructed flow of communication, the wall of hostility must preliminarily fall dawn. Then a question arises about how Gangwon is, out of other border region, most eligible for the reconsideration of its significance as a border area. The answer relies on the newly established agenda and understandings towards the right to peace in the perspective of founding the policy for the Unification of the Korean Peninsula. Furthermore, the conservation of DMZ ecological environment through enlistment of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve should go hand in hand with the ultimate value of global agenda of the conservation and protection of the environment. The study insists that the peace zone is a prerequisite for the adaption of the era of future-oriented glocalization featured by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Up to this date, the border area was an area of pain and agony. It is time for Gangwon to be reborn as an area of peace and coexistence. The aim of this study is to point a direction for Gangwon to become a sustainably developing region by illuminating the value of the Gangwon border area as a new area of peace.

Historically, the United Nations supported the establishment of the government of the Republic of Korea after liberation and played a decisive role in defending liberal democracy and peace by sending peacekeepers during the Korean War. With the political and military support of the United Nations, the Republic of Korea was able to grow into the world's 10th largest economy today, and now it is time to fulfill its responsibilities and roles to contribute to peace and prosperity in the international community as a middle power. The international peace operations of the United Nations are comprehensive concepts encompassing conflict prevention, peacemaking, peace enforcement, peacekeeping, and peace building, and are implemented in accordance with the Security Council resolutions based on the UN Charter. In order to effectively respond to changes in the international security environment and conflict factors after the post-Cold War, the UN promoted a paradigm shift in international peace operations through the 2000 Brahim Report and the 2015 High-Level Panel Report on UN Peace Activities. Therefore, this study aims to assess the Korean military's international peace operations at a limited level, such as reconstruction assistance and humanitarian assistance, and to present development measures for more active participation as a middle power in the future. To this end, we reviewed the history and specificities of conflict, the conflicting factors after the post-Cold War, and the new paradigm of UN peace operations, focusing on the African region where a number of UN peacekeeping missions are stationed. And it also suggested ways to develop international peace operations that the Korean military should pursue in the future.

평화의댐은 발전 기능이나 수문 조작 등 인위적인 기능이 전혀 없기 때문에 단순히 홍수조절용댐으로 분류된다. 평화의댐의 여수로는 일반적인 댐과는 달리 임남댐에 대응하기 위한 단계별 건설계획을 고려하여 댐 우안부에 배수터널 형식으로 건설되었다. 현재 평화의댐은 4련의 배수터널(직경 10 m)을 통해서 상류의 유입량을 하류로 방류하고 있다. 방류 능력을 초과하는 홍수가 발생하는 경우에는 일시적인 저류를 통한 제한적인 홍수조절을 수행하고 있지만, 그 효과는 크지 않다. 향후 남북한 관계 개선으로 임남댐의 안정성을 확보할 수 있다면, 평화의댐을 보통의 다목적댐과 같이 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 평화의댐을 일반 다목적댐처럼 활용할 수 있는 상황을 가정하고, 일련의 운영방식을 적용하여 운영 방식 변경 전후의 댐의 홍수저류효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 댐의 설계빈도인 200년 빈도의 강우에 대해 모의하고, 여러 가지 시나리오별 저류량-방류량 관계를 구축하였다. 최종적으로 비선형 저수지 모형에 적용하여 댐 저류효과를 정량화하고, 현재 및 잠재 홍수저류효과에 대해 비교하고 토의하였다.
