  • A 10-degree of freedom mathematical model of motion for power tiller-trailer system was developed. This model can predict motion characteristics of power tiller trailer system while travelling over smooth and irregular ground surfaces under various operating conditions. The model provide, the fundamental data needed to improve the stability of power tiller-trailer systems.

  • Computer simulation was carried out to predict the motion and overturns of power tiller-trailer system this system when traveing over an obstacle on inclined planes. To estimate the effects of design factors (mass center of main body and wheel base), ground factors (ground inclination and height of obstacle), and operation factors (traveling velocity) on the sideways overturn, the motion of power tiller-trailer system was simulated as the factors were varied with five different levels.

  • 본 조사의 대상은 회수용 및 일회용 운반 용기로서 사용되는 컨테이너이다. 컨테이너는 화물을 일정한 수량 단위로 하역 운송 보관하기 위하여 사용하는 단위화물 구성 수단이다. 트레일러 운송에 사용하는 대형 화물 컨테이너는 본 실태 조사의 대상에서 제외하였다. 조사 대상 업체의 범위는 원칙적으로 우리나라 산업 현장에서 컨테이너를 사용하고 있는 모든 업체이다. 조사 대상인 업체의 범위를 기본적으로 통계청에서 제공하는 표준 산업분류코드(KSIC)에 근거하여 업종, 규모 및 지역 관점에서 분류하여 처리하였다. 그러나 목재, 금속 및 종이 재질 컨테이너에 대한 조사는 다소 미흡한 수준이었으며, 플라스틱 컨테이너에 다소 편중된 조사가 이루어 졌다.

  • The 'gate non-stop system utilizing RFID (900MHz)', which is the core of this research, is the system which connects RFID to recognize the vehicle information without stopping when a vehicle (trailer) passes a gate to carry in or out containers in a terminal and automatically provides the container information provided by the terminal for the RFLDU device installed in the vehicle.In order to design and implement this, the RFID technical section uses a UHF band (900MHz) RFID tag and a reader and implements a RFID middleware and an application program for smooth data collection and execution (operation). In addition, the system stability was verified through experiments and operations of the system implemented in this research at real harbors/quays, and based on the verified result, the maximization of vehicle (trailer) and terminal productivity and the reduction of distribution cost are expected.

  • Generally, the container road transportation can be divided into three types; short distance, long distance and shuttle transportation. Specially, the shuttle service occurs several amounts of container which is same as O/D pairs. Also container vehicle can be divided into three types according to the chassis types of vehicle; only 20-feet container, only 40-feet container and combined chassis trailer. Combined chassis trailers can load two 20-feet containers or one 40-feet container. This paper deals with Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) for delivering containers considering shuttle service. This problem is similar to the previously studied Shin and Oh (2008), but the characteristics of shuttle service must be considered additionally. We formulate the container shuttle transportation planning problem using combined chassis trailers based on VRP with pick-up and delivery which can visit each node more than one time, and propose an efficient solution procedure.

  • In this paper, the implementation of the backward movement control of a truck-trailer type mobile robot using fuzzy model based control scheme considering the practical constraints, computing time-delay and quantization is presented. We propose the fuzzy feedback controller whose output is delayed with unit sampling period and predicted. The analysis and the design problem considering the computing time-delay become very easy because the proposed controller is syncronized with the sampling time. Also, the stability analysis is made when the quantization exists in the implementation of the fuzzy control architectures and it is shown that if the trivial solution of the fuzzy control system without quantization is asymptotically stable, then the solutions of the fuzzy control system with quantization are uniformly ultimately bounded. The experimental results are shown to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • When was launched in 2014, it was immediately ranked 2nd in English gross sales record in the first half of 2014, attracting huge attention from avid game users. Colin Moriarty(2014) states that the worldwide popular game, , lies on the alternative history assumption, 'what if Nazi Germany won the second world war? In regard to this, this research addresses how the characteristics of alternative history was adopted and visually represented in FPS game trailer. In terms of research method, firstly, literatures will be reviewed about definition of alternative history and some of the previous examples where alternative history was applied in novels, films and games. Secondly, narrative composition of alternative history is categorized as three sequential phases, (1) borrowing real history material, (2) connection between real and fictional history and (3) reconstruction of history through reinterpretation. Thirdly, the live-action game trailer will be analysed by three sequential phases of narrative composition, and CG game character and background will be analysed by spatial background, characters and props. The phase of 'borrowing' has used the historic images related to the World War II, and the phase of "connection' has composited by "connection through circumstantial events". The phase of 'reconstruction' has unfolded its fictional narrative in the form of "limited fictional history" In addition to this, has constructed dystopia world through composing of historic images and CG characters by SF design. In the light of this, the narrative composition of alternative history successfully extends to game area.

  • 본 논문은 KRRI 전륜 조향 차량의 횡 방향 동역학 모델링에 대한 내용을 기술한다. 이 차량은 굴절버스 형태를 갖고 모든 차륜의 조항이 가능하며 트레일러와 트랙터의 후륜이 독립적으로 구동 가능한 시스템을 갖고 있다. 이 시스템의 모델링은 비선형 동역학 방정식을 유도하고 선형화 한 뒤 횡 방향 동역학 모델만을 분리해서 최종적으로 횡 방향 선형 동역학 모델을 유도하는 과정을 거친다. 마지막으로 시뮬레이션을 통해 선형 모델을 검증한다.

Turning Behavior of Tractor-Trailer System by Computer Simulation (컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의한 트랙터와 트레일러의 선회운동)

  • Turning behavior of tractor-trailer system was studied to guide the tractor and trailer. Based upon kinematic relationship between the tractor and the trailer, a mathematical model was developed and analyzed by computer simulation. A field test was carried out to verify the mathematical model. Following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. A mathematical model and a simulation program for turning behavior of tractor-trailer system were developed. 2. The results of the field tests showed that the RMS errors were less than 0.33m and the mathematical model based upon kinematic relationship can be used for mapping guidance system for tractor and trailer. 3. As the steering angle was increased, the turning radius was decreased. When the tractor travelled at the low speed, the travel speed of the tractor did not affect turning radius but did affect running time and stability for steering. 4. When the tractor travelled under the critical velocity, the towed trailer followed smoothly. When the the tractor travelled faster than the critical velocity, the towed trailer oscillated. The critical velocity was determined from the specification of the tractor and the trailer.
