A Study on Concurrency Control Scheme for Scalability of Blockchain (블록체인 기법의 확장가능성을 위한 병행 수행 제어 기법에 대한 연구)

  • Bitcoin-based blockchain technology provides an infrastructure that enables anonymous smart contracts, low-cost remittances, and online payments. However, the block-chain technology that implements the bitcoin has scalability constraints in tradeoffs between throughput and latency. To solve these problems, the Byzantine fault tolerant block-chain technique has been proposed. This technique improves throughput without increasing latency by selecting a leader and constructing many microblocks that do not contain proofs of work within the existing block by the leader. However, this technique may be less secure than existing techniques in selecting the reader.

  • This paper presents a new adaptive relay selection scheme for a regenerative orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access(OFDMA) relay network with fairness constrains. In the Proposed scheme, we select the best M relays out of a set of K potential relays to maximize system capacity. Among these selected relays, subcarriers are reallocated to satisfy fairness constraints as well as to minimize the degradation of the system performance. Afterwards, power allocation is performed for each subcarrier based on the water-filling method to enhance the performance improvement. By using the trade-off relationship between the system capacity and the fairness, the modified version of proposed scheme is also investigated.

  • Apparel fairs are business platforms specializing in selling fashion products. As the largest apparel fair in the United States and with the highest number of animated buyers in the entire world, the Las Vegas Magic Show utilizes this distribution platform to the greatest extent by sustaining over 90,000 buyers annually. In accordance, the exhibiting companies also participate in commercial functions by striving to promote brand awareness to consumers as they carefully plan to increase actual sales and secure new customers. Domestically, numerous organizations such as the Trade Promotion Administration, the Korean Apparel Association, and KOTRA(Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) present similar international apparel fairs to strongly encourage domestic companies to exhibit at international apparel fairs. However, many companies fail to succeed in achieving actual results, which frequently causes them to attend the shows for the short term only. This may occur due to the lack of research on apparel order-writing exhibitions by academia and proactive workers. This research study was based on the careful observation and analysis of the three most recent years of Magic exhibitor attendees' operations and changes to accomplish the final objective of presenting a basic guideline to attend an international apparel exhibition.

Separable Median-Max Filter for Disparity Refinement (시차 정제를 위한 분리형 중앙-최댓값 필터)

  • 스테레오 정합을 통해 산출되는 초기 시차 영상의 정합 정확도는 고주파 및 잡음 성분에 의해 감소될 수 있다. 또한, 폐색 및 질감이 없는 영역에서 잘못된 정합 결과가 산출됨으로 인해 정합 정확도가 감소될 수 있다. 정합 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 시차 정제에 관한 선행 연구들이 수행되었지만 정제 과정을 통한 정합 정확도 성능과 처리 속도간 트레이드-오프가 존재한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 종래 시차 정제 방법 대비 향상된 처리 속도와 함께 높은 시차 정제 성능을 갖는 분리형 중앙-최댓값 필터를 제안한다. 제안하는 방법의 정제 성능 및 평균 처리 시간을 객관적으로 평가하기 위해 KITTI 2015 stereo benchmark 데이터셋을 사용하였다. 제안하는 방법의 평균 오차율은 비폐색 및 폐색 조건에서 종래 방법 대비 각각 최소 25.61% 및 23.68% 감소되었다. 또한, 제안하는 방법의 처리 속도는 종래 방법 대비 최소 13.29% 향상되었다. 따라서 제안하는 방법은 빠른 처리 속도 및 높은 정확도 성능을 요구하는 스테레오 비전 시스템에 활용될 수 있다.

  • In order to cope with dramatically increasing malware variant, malware classification research is getting diversified. Recent research tend to grasp individual limits of existing malware analysis technology (static/dynamic), and to change each method into "hybrid analysis", which is to mix different methods into one. Futhermore, it is applying machine learning to identify malware variant more accurately, which are difficult to classify. However, accuracy and scalability of trade-off problems that occur when using all kinds of methods are not yet to be solved, and it is still an important issue in the field of malware research. Therefore, to supplement and to solve the problems of the original malware classification research, we are focusing on developing a new malware classification system in this research.

Two Aspects of the Game Playing Effect and Attitude toward Game Regulation :Focused on Game Genre (게임 플레이 효과의 양면성과 게임 규제 태도 연구 :게임 장르를 중심으로)

  • This study looks at the social implications of gaming disorder by considering the situation in Korea. Focusing on specificity of game genres, this study analyzed two aspects of the game playing effect-positive(cognitive needs) and negative(game addiction)-and suggested directions for game regulation policies and game addiction studies, since game playing effects are closely related to game regulatory policy. To analyze game effects and attitudes to regulations, this study performed regression analysis based on the online survey. Results show that game playing effects and attitudes toward game regulation differ based on the nature of game genres. While longer gaming increased the effect of addiction, it also increased cognitive needs. Playing roleplaying, Aeon of Strife, and strategy game genres(RAS), which are subject to game regulation, increased game addiction levels but simultaneously contributed to increased cognitive needs. While playing augmented reality genres positively affected cognitive needs, it also showed favorable attitudes to general game regulation.

  • From the viewpoint of navigation safety, it would be best if it's possible to build a bridge whose main span is wide enough, however, sometimes it may not be possible due to geographical or economic reason To construct the bridge on the shipping route, consideration factors for marine traffic safety must be investigated and examined from the viewpoint of marine traffic engineering. This study aims to secure marine traffic safety and maintain smoothly traffic flow through assessment qf these factors. As the first step, examination factors such as traffic volume, ship size and bridge width were assessed quantitatively using marine traffic flow simulation technique.

Prediction of OPS(On-base Plus Slugging) in KBO League (한국프로야구에서 장타율과 출루율(OPS) 예측 연구)

  • In sports, the proportion of data analysis in team management such as team strategy planning and marketing is increasing. In KBO(Korea Baseball Organization) league, in particular, plans such as recruiting players and fostering players are established to devise team strategies for the next year, such as FA and trade, at the end of a season. For these reasons, it is very important to predict players' performance for the next year. In this study, the target was limited to only the batter and tried to find out how to predict whether the performance of the next year will improve. As a standard record for rising and falling, OPS(On-Base Plus Slugging), which is easy to calculate and has a high relationship with team score, was used. In this study, 40 years of regular season data from 1982 to 2021 were used as data, and 11 machine learning classification models were used as experimental methods. Predicting the rise and fall of OPS, RBF SVM, Neural Net, Gaussian Process, and AdaBoost were more accurate than other classification models, and age did not significantly affect accuracy.

Two Phase Heuristic Algorithm for Mean Delay constrained Capacitated Minimum Spanning Tree Problem (평균 지연 시간과 트래픽 용량이 제한되는 스패닝 트리 문제의 2단계 휴리스틱 알고리즘)

  • This study deals with the DCMST (Delay constrained Capacitated Minimum Spanning Tree) problem applied in the topological design of local networks or finding several communication paths from root node. While the traditional CMST problem has only the traffic capacity constraint served by a port of root node, the DCMST problem has the additional mean delay constraint of network. The DCMST problem consists of finding a set of spanning trees to link end-nodes to the root node satisfying the traffic requirements at end-nodes and the required mean delay of network. The objective function of problem is to minimize the total link cost. This paper presents two-phased heuristic algorithm, which consists of node exchange, and node shift algorithm based on the trade-off criterions, and mean delay algorithm. Actual computational experience and performance analysis show that the proposed algorithm can produce better solution than the existing algorithm for the CMST problem to consider the mean delay constraint in terms of cost.

Creative Resolution for Requirement Conflict Using Conflict Resolution Theory of TRIZ (TRIZ의 모순 해결 이론을 이용한 창의적 요구사항 충돌 해결)

  • The Conflicts between requirements may cause a failure of functions or even project. Currently, most of researches have focused on identifying requirements and some researchers have tried to resolve requirements conflicts but it was only based on requirement priority. This paper proposes the Creative Requirements Conflict Resolution (CRRC) to resolve requirement conflicts in a creative way using TRIZ methodology. TRIZ, which means the theory of solving inventor's problems, is made based on the analysis of over 2 million patent cases and helpful for developing a creative solution to resolve conflicts. CRRC classifies requirement conflicts into groups and then apply TRIZ theory related to each group. At the result of control experiment, CRRC provides the various kinds of creative solution for requirement conflicts.
