Constructing Transfer Data in Seoul Metropolitan Urban Railway Using Transportation Card (교통카드기반 수도권 도시철도 환승자료 구축방안)

  • Public transportation card data, which is collected for purposes of the Integrated Public Transportation Fare System, provides neither transfer time nor transfer frequency occurring on the metropolitan city-rail (MCR). And because there are no transfer toll gates installed on the MCR, data on transfers between lines are estimated through means such as elicitations using survey questionnaire, or otherwise through macroscopic observations, which poses the risk of transfer time and frequencies being underestimated. For the accurate estimation thereof, an explanation of the transit path that arises between the Entry-and Exit-Gates must be provided. The purpose of this research is twofold : 1) to build a transit path model to reflect the current state of transfer movements on the basis of transportation card reader data, and 2) to deduce information on transfers occurring in the greater metropolis. To achieve these aims, the idea of Big Nodes is introduced in the model to align transportation card reader operation system characteristics with those of the MCR network. The link-label method is applied in the model as well to make certain that the MCR network runs in an effective manner. Administrative information obtained by the transportation card reader is used to derive transfer time and frequency both in the city's mid-zones, and in the Seoul-Gyeonggi-Incheon district's large-zones. Public transportation card data from a single specific day in year 2014 is employed in the building of the quantified transfer specific data. Extended usage thereof as providing comprehensive data of transfer resistance on the MCR is also examined.

Origin-Destination Estimation Based on Cellular Phone's Base Station (휴대폰 기지국 정보를 이용한 O/D 추정기법 연구)

  • An Origin-Destination (O/D) is considered as one of the important information in route choices and trip assignments. A household interview survey is deemed to be the traditional and the most widely used method in making sample O/D and its conversion to the total O/D. Some researchers have studied to estimate dynamic O/D from the relationship between link volumes and trip assignment model. Nowadays, owing to the recent rapid spread of cellular phones. Location information of the cellular phone through the Base Station(BS) is considered as an alternative to O/D estimation. In this study, the methodology of generating BS-based O/D and the methodology of converting this O/D into an administrative district-based O/D are proposed. The information of GPS positions and cellular BS positions have acquired by establishing GPS equipment and cellular phone on taxies in Cheongju. Three weeks data are collected and used in estimating O/D by matching them on a digital map. Scatter diagram and sample correlation coefficients are used to investigate the similarity of the GPS-based O/D pattern among weeks, among days, and among times in day. The results show that there are few significant differences among weeks. But there is a difference in O/C pattern between weekday and weekend. Furthermore, there is a difference between morning peak and afternoon peak. Two methodologies are proposed to convert BS-based O/D into an administrative district-based O/D. The first one is to use the distribution pattern of GPS coordinates, the other is to use the coverage area of the BSs. To validate such converted O/D, GPS O/D is used as a true value. The statical analyses through scatter diagram, MAE and RMSE shows that there is few significant defference of pattern between the estimated BS-based O/D and GPS O/D. In the case of using only cellular information, the methodology using coverage area of the BSs is recommended for estimating O/D.

  • 게임에서는 장애물이 가로 막고 있을 때 길 찾기 알고리즘이 요구된다. Path Finding Method 는 길과 장애물을 고려하여 목적지까지의 경로를 찾는 방법을 말한다. A* 알고리즘은 이런 복잡한 미로 찾기에 최적화된 Path Finding 알고리즘이다. 하지만, 모바일 같은 저비용 기기에서 A* 알고리즘을 사용하기엔 단순한 지형에서도 연산 부하가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 가상의 공간에서 Grid를 구축하여, 통행이 가능한 곳과 불가능한 곳을 나누어 최종 지점에 도달할 수 있도록 하는 방식을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 Path Finding Method 는 최종 지점이 막다른 길인 경우 가장 가까운 이동 가능한 경로로 길을 안내하도록 설계하여 예외 상황에 대처했다. 대표적인 길 찾기 알고리즘인 Dijkstra 알고리즘은 최소 비용을 고려해서 최단으로 가는 거리를 비교하여 길을 나타낼 수 있다. 하지만, Dijkstra 알고리즘 경우 비용이 양수가 아닌 음수의 경우 무한 루프에 빠지는 등 결과 값이 제대로 나오지 않을 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 Path Finding Method 는 최소 비용을 노드별로 비교하는 방식이 아닌 초기 비용을 알 수 없는 분야에 쉽게 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 Path Finding Method 를 적용하여 Web 게임을 제작하는 것에 성공하였다. 향후, Path Finding Method 결과에 위치 정렬 알고리즘을 적용하여, 중복된 지역을 가는 확률을 최소화하면서 정리된 Path 가 돌출되도록 연구할 예정이다. 본 논문의 Path Finding Method 은 게임 개발 분야에 적극 기여되길 바란다.

Comparative Study on the Departure Area for a Day's Tour Trip in Due Consideration of the Circular Trip among Tourist Attractions - Focused on Geoje-si Tourist before and after the Opening of BG Fixed Link - (관광지간 회유(回遊)행동을 고려한 당일관광통행 출발권역 비교연구 - 거가대로 개통 전후 거제 방문관광객을 대상으로 -)

  • Ratio of a day's tour for Geoje-si, 22.6 percent, has increased to 48.6 percent since the opening of Busan-Geoje fixed link. Eight cities of Yeungnam area including Busan-Ulsan and Daegu-Gyeongbuk has been directly affected by the changed route from GJ Bridge to BG Bridge. In order to compare the range of departure area for a one-day trip in Geoje tourist attractions before and after the new fixed link, duration variation of visitors is described as individual difference by normal distribution function. One-day tour trip model based on a circular trip is also suggested under comparatively simple supposition. Since average area after the opening is equal to maximum area before as minimum area after is equal to average area before, the effect of access improvement by the new bridge is revealed definitely. In addition, the effect of cities located in the middle and long distance is greater. Although cities proximity to Geoje are not influenced significantly, every citizen is capable of taking a one-day trip anywhere.

  • 위험물 차량사고는 일반차량의 교통사고시 발생하는 인명피해, 재산피해, 교통지체 외에 부가적으로 환경적 영향에 의한 엄청난 인명 및 재산손실을 유발시킬 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 위험물차량사고를 예방하고 피해를 최소로 줄이기 위해서는 위험물수송경로의 신중하고 체계적인 결정이 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 외국의 경우, 위험물의 방출이 미치는 환경적 영향에 대한 인식이 확대되면서 위험물 수송시 응급처리에 관한 연구, 위험물 수송에 따른 위험도 평가에 관한 연구, 위험물 수송시 고려해야할 여러 조건에 관한 연구, 위험물 수송경로 설정에 관한 연구 등이 진행되고 있다. 반면에 우리 나라는 위험물차량관리와 사고처리에 대해 실시간적인 관리를 목표로 하는 국가차원의 계획을 수립하고는 있지만, 현재 이와 관련된 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 앞으로 산업발달에 따른 위험물수송량의 증가와 환경의식의 변화에 따라 위험물수송 및 사고처리 등에 관한 연구가 필요할 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 위험물차량의 운송경로를 결정할 때 고려해야 할 여러 가지의 기준 및 목표에 따라 위험물수송경로를 설정하는 모형을 제시함으로써 위험물수송에 수반되는 위험을 최소화하면서 위험물차량의 통행시간, 거리, 비용 등을 최적화하여 위험물수송의 안전 및 운영효율성을 향상시키고자 한다. 먼저, 위험물 수송경로의 기준지표로 사용될 위험도를 산정하기 위해 링크 주변노출인구, 밀도 등을 변수로 하는 모형식을 제안하고, 두 번째로 산정된 위험도를 기반으로 최적경로를 결정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 가상 네트웍에 본 연구에서 제안된 모형을 적용하고 현재 일반적으로 사용되는 최단경로와 비교·분석하였다.것은 운송거리와 운송비용이 각각 주요한 변수라는 것이다. 모형의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서는 logilikelihood 값을 구하여 $\rho$^2분석을 시행하였다. 여기서는 각 품목별로 $\rho$^2값이 약 0.15~0.3의 비교적 높은 수치를 보여주고 있으므로 모형의 설명력이 어느 정도 있다는 것이 아울러 증명이 되었다. 상관관계에 대한 분석에서는 영업용 차량간의 상관관계가 높게 나타났으며, 이는 곧 영업용 화물차량을 적재중량별로 구분하는 것이 별 의미가 없음을 의미한다. 다시 말하면 자가용 차량을 보유하고 있지 않은 회사는 다른 운송전문업체에 화물운송을 의뢰하게 되므로 출하중량에 따라 화물차량을 구분하는 것에 대해서 그다지 큰 고려를 하지 않는 것으로 해석할 수가 있다.적합함을 재확인함. 6. 혼잡초기를 제외한 혼잡기간 중 대기행렬길이는 밀도데이터 없이도 혼잡 상류부의 도착교통량과 병목지점 본선통과교통량만을 이용하여 추정이 가능함. 7. 이상에 연구한 결과를 토대로, 고속도로 대기행렬길이를 산정할 수 있는 기초적인 도형을 제시함.벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압

  • Recent environmental concerns have made interest in environment-friendly transportation means such as walking, biking, and public transportation. However, since it is difficult to move long distance by walking or biking, their scope of application is rather limited. On the other hand, public transportation can solve traffic congestion, a recent social issue, though its usability may depend on its time schedule. Currently available information services on public transportation in the Web do not reflect well such traits of the public transportation; thus, in some cases, they may provide wrong information to end users. To solve such problems and provide information based on timetable of public transportations, this paper proposes a STP(Space Time Point) data model. Unlike existing space-time data models, this model recognizes the bottommost element of an object as a point and structures these points in hierarchical way to define an object. In particular, It can make it possible to implement a variety of dynamic spatial objects changing object information according to time. An objective of this study is to design a STP model for bus and subway based on timetables of public transportation in Daejeon area and builds a system to provide path navigation. With the designed navigation function, a path from the Daejeon National Cemetery to Hannam University was searched by time slot. The result showed that the system provided different paths by time, as the system guided different paths when bus operation was limited in midnight. As existing data model could not provide such results, it is confirmed that the system can provide path navigation based on real-time traffic information. It is expected that based on such functionality, it is possible to provide additional functionalities by applying diverse data models such as real-time transport information or traffic history information.

  • Dynamic traffic assignment(DTA) has been a topic of substantial research during the past decade. While DTA is gradually maturing, many aspects of DTA still need improvement, especially regarding its formulation and solution algerian Recently, with its promise for In(Intelligent Transportation System) and GIS(Geographic Information System) applications, DTA have received increasing attention. This potential also implies higher requirement for DTA modeling, especially regarding its solution efficiency for real-time implementation. But DTA have many mathematical difficulties in searching process due to the complexity of spatial and temporal variables. Although many solution algorithms have been studied, conventional methods cannot iud the solution in case that objective function or constraints is not convex. In this paper, the genetic algorithm to find the solution of DTA is applied and the Merchant-Nemhauser model is used as DTA model because it has a nonconvex constraint set. To handle the nonconvex constraint set the GENOCOP III system which is a kind of the genetic algorithm is used in this study. Results for the sample network have been compared with the results of conventional method.

  • The purpose of this study is providing an evaluation criteria for appropriateness of bicycle riding path considering trip purpose based on cyclist's response of importance and satisfaction. The survey presents a quantified criteria of evaluating appropriateness of the bicycle path by investigating difference of impotance and satisfaction between two purposes among 5 selected influence factors about bicycle lane and bicycle parking facility, and in case of commuting purpose, information of destination is additionally considered. All the influence factors are analyzed by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) which yields importance. For the factors which have a huge difference between two purposes, evaluation criteria using a GIS Data of respondent's path and satisfaction of each factors is developed, and other factors are made it by reviewing literature. The importance analyzed by AHP and evaluation criteria can provide a path based LOS for cyclist, and this information can be improved through user's response from app or search engine in the future. and by considering individual's evaluation, it can provide individually specified information.

  • Traffic jam densified day by day is phenomenon to occur lack of the road capacity in comparison with traffic density, but lack of the road cannot be concluded by main cause of traffic ism. Because the central function of a city would be concentrated upon the downtown and traffic demand would not be evenly distributed by the classification of an hour. Therefore, this study based on the fact that each driver will select the route generating traffic delay very low when path choice from origin to destination in travel plan estimating the quality of passage could be maintained the speed he want will approach to a characteristic grasp of a road, traffic, driver changing every moment by traffic-demand of road increased as a geometrical series with analysis a classification of a street, a intersection along the path on traffic density and highway capacity analysis the path using GIS techniques about complex street network, also will get the path of actual optimum for traffic delay trend creating under various condition the classification per a hour, a day of week and an incident through network such as analysis for traffic generation zone adjacent about street, intersection, afterward will expect the result increasing efficiency of the road-use through a good distribution of traffic by optimum-path choice, accordingly will prepare the scientific, objective, appropriate basis to decide the reasonable time of a road-widen and expansion through section analysis along a rate of traffic volume vs. road capacity.

Improvement of Pedestrian Detection using Background Subtraction (배경 분리를 이용한 보행자 검출 개선)

  • 최근 영상 내에서 보행자를 검출하는 기술이 발전하면서 보행자 검출 기술이 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있다. 영상 내에서 보행자들을 검출함으로써 보행자의 통행량이나 이동경로를 분석할 수 있고, 위험 지역이나 보안 지역에 진입하려는 보행자에게 경고를 줄 수도 있다. CCTV와 같이 고정된 카메라를 이용하여 촬영된 영상의 경우 배경 분리 기술을 적용할 수 있는데, 배경 분리 기술을 통해 영상 내에서 움직이는 물체의 영역을 검출해 낼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 배경 분리 결과를 이용하여 보행자 검출의 정확도를 높이고자 한다. 영상 내에서 보행자를 검출 했을 때, 보행자 외에 다른 영역이 보행자로 검출되는 상황이 발생할 수 있다. 이로 인해 보행자 검출의 정확도가 낮아진다. 하지만 배경 분리 결과를 이용하여 전경 부분에서만 보행자가 검출되도록 하고 배경 부분에서는 보행자가 검출되지 않도록 한다면, 보행자가 아닌 영역이 보행자로 검출되는 현상을 막을 수 있다. 실제 HDA Person Dataset에서 실험을 해본 결과, 정량적인 성능 향상을 확인 할 수 있었다.
