  • In this paper, we propose a method to apply artificial intelligence technology efficiently to integrated security control technology. In other words, by applying machine learning learning to artificial intelligence based on big data collected in integrated security control system, cyber attacks are detected and appropriately responded. As technology develops, many large capacity Is limited to analyzing individual logs. The analysis method should also be applied to the integrated security control more quickly because it needs to correlate the logs of various heterogeneous security devices rather than one log. We have newly proposed an integrated security service model based on artificial intelligence, which analyzes and responds to these behaviors gradually evolves and matures through effective learning methods. We sought a solution to the key problems expected in the proposed model. And we developed a learning method based on normal behavior based learning model to strengthen the response ability against unidentified abnormal behavior threat. In addition, future research directions for security management that can efficiently support analysis and correspondence of security personnel through proposed security service model are suggested.

  • In this paper, an improved integrated security control procedure is newly proposed by applying artificial intelligence technology to integrated security control and unifying the existing security control and AI security control response procedures. Current cyber security control is highly dependent on the level of human ability. In other words, it is practically unreasonable to analyze various logs generated by people from different types of equipment and analyze and process all of the security events that are rapidly increasing. And, the signature-based security equipment that detects by matching a string and a pattern has insufficient functions to accurately detect advanced and advanced cyberattacks such as APT (Advanced Persistent Threat). As one way to solve these pending problems, the artificial intelligence technology of supervised and unsupervised learning is applied to the detection and analysis of cyber attacks, and through this, the analysis of logs and events that occur innumerable times is automated and intelligent through this. The level of response has been raised in the overall aspect by making it possible to predict and block the continuous occurrence of cyberattacks. And after applying AI security control technology, an improved integrated security control service model was newly proposed by integrating and solving the problem of overlapping detection of AI and SIEM into a unified breach response process(procedure).

  • In today's growing threat environment, rapid and effective detection and response to security events is essential. To solve these problems, many companies and organizations respond to security threats by introducing security control systems. However, existing security control systems are experiencing difficulties due to the complexity and diverse characteristics of security events. In this study, we propose an automated integrated security control system model based on artificial intelligence. It is based on deep learning, an artificial intelligence technology, and provides effective detection and processing functions for various security events. To this end, the model applies various artificial intelligence algorithms and machine learning methods to overcome the limitations of existing security control systems. The proposed model reduces the operator's workload, ensures efficient operation, and supports rapid response to security threats.

  • Recently, Interest variety of IT services and computing resources are increasing. As a result, the interest in the security of cloud environments is also increasing. Cloud environment is stored that to provide services to a large amount of IT resources on the Cloud. Therefore, Cloud is integrity of the stored data and resources that such as data leakage, forgery, etc. security incidents that the ability to quickly process is required. However, the existing developed various solutions or studies without considering their cloud environment for development and research to graft in a cloud environment because it has been difficult. Therefore, we proposed wire-wireless integrated Security management Model in cloud environment.

  • Control and development systems such as air traffic control systems, road traffic systems, and Korea Hydro &Nuclear Power are the infrastructure facilities of the country, and if the malicious hacking attacks proceed, the damage is beyond imagination. In fact, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power has been subjected to a hacking attack, causing internal information to leak and causing social problems. In this study, we analyze the environment of the development control system and analyze the status of the convergence security research, which is a recent issue, and propose a strategy system for stabilizing various power generation control systems and propose countermeasures. We propose a method to normalize and integrate data types from various physical security systems (facilities), IT security systems, access control systems, to control the whole system through convergence authentication, and to detect risks through fusion control.

  • Many heterogeneous Intrusion Detection Systems(IDSs) based in misuse detection technique including the self-developed IDS are now operating in Defense-ESM(Enterprise Security Management System). IDS based on misuse detection may have different capability in the intrusion detection process according to the frequency and quality of its signature update. This makes the integration and collaboration with other IDSs more difficult. In this paper, with the purpose of creating the proper foundation for integration and collaboration between heterogeneous IDSs being operated in Defense-ESM, we propose an effective mechanism that can enable one IDS to propagate its new detection rules to other IDSs and receive updated rules from others. We also prove the performance of rule exchange and application possibility to defense environment through the implementation and experiment.

  • The "Risk management" and "Security monitoring" activities for cyber security are deeply correlated in that they prepare for future security threats and minimize security incidents. In addition, it is effective to apply a pattern model that visually demonstrates to an administrator the threat to that information asset in both the risk management and the security system areas. Validated pattern models have long-standing "control chart" models in the traditional quality control sector, but lack the use of information systems in cyber risk management and security systems. In this paper, a cyber Security Risk Monitoring (SRM) system that integrates risk management and a security system was designed. The SRM presents a strategy for applying 'security control' using the pattern of 'control charts'. The security measures were integrated with the existing set of standardized security measures, ISMS, NIST SP 800-53 and CC. Using this information, we analyzed the warning trends of the cyber crisis in Korea for four years from 2014 to 2018 and this enables us to establish more flexible security measures in the future.
