  • 최근 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스를 이용한 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 각종 의료서비스와 건강관리를 제공받는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 산업은 특성상 단일 제품이나 서비스로만 존재하지 않고, 의료정보, 장비, 소프트웨어, 네트워크, 전자상거래 등의 보건 의료를 구성하는 모든 산업이 IT에 기반 하여 집약된 새로운 산업분야이다. 이러한 산업 특성상 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스는 다양한 기술들을 이용하기 때문에 이들을 서비스의 개발, 이용 단계에서 통합된 환경을 제공받아 이용하는 것이 효과적이다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 이용을 위한 서비스 시스템 아키텍쳐를 제안하고, 제안된 시스템에서 이용할 수 있는 서비스들을 개발하기 위한 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 개발 Framework을 설계한다. 제안된 시스템 아키텍쳐와 개발 Framework을 이용하면 헬스케어 서비스 이용자에게 적절한 인터페이스의 제공과 질환에 대한 추적 관찰, 증상의 판단, 진료 지원, 건강관리, 외부 기관과의 정보 교환 등의 서비스를 개발할 수 있다.

An Empirical Analysis of Industrial Design′s Functional Role in the Causal Model of Quality Competitiveness : Korean Manufacturing Sector (품질경쟁력 인과모형 하에서 산업디자인의 기능적 역할에 관한 실증적 분석 : 한국 제조업 부문을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study are two the first is to identify the positioning of product design and analyze its functional relationship with product development, manufacturing, marketing and sales in the comprehensive competitiveness evaluation model ; and the second is to estimate the determinants of QCI(quality competitiveness index), analyze the impact of product design on QCI, and compare the aforementioned results for the seven industrial sectors and the five product patterns. For this empirical analysis, this study surveyed 400 Korean manufacturing firms during August-October 2003. The major empirical findings are summarized as follows : First, the hypothesis on the positive effect of product design on QCI is accepted at a highly significant level (p < 0.001) for all : the manufacturing sector, seven industrial sectors, and five product categories. Second, the correlation analysis and factor analysis lead to the result that the effect of product design on QCI is estimated to be relatively very low, in comparison to those of product functionality and basic performance on QCI. These findings imply that Korean manufacturing sector has been still in the prematured stage at which product design has not played an important role yet. This study concludes that product design in line with other functions (product development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales) should make a good contribution to the improvement of QCI in the future.

The Study for An Usability Improvement of Conning Display through Information Distribution (정보 분산을 통한 코닝 디스플레이의 사용성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In many fields, commercial programs or equipments are biting developed and these are getting complicated more and more by adding advantages from existing products. In promoting the usability of these products, design based on the information integration receives attention. However, is information integration always better? In this study, we tried to demonstrate information distribution is more efficient than information integration through conning display design that was propelled by many countries' classification societies. We designed the conning display using many ergonomic methods and conducted its performance experiment. Results of the performance experiment reveal that conning display having two modes (one shows the functions related with ocean and coast voyage and another shows the functions related with docking and leaving port) is more efficient.

  • The development of the console for exterior advertizing LCD Panel(LCD Console) is the purpose of this study with regard to importance of display industry. In this study, the most important point is to develop the cooling system for LCD Console. It is developed by using systematic application techniques and statistical tests and analysis to integrate commercial components, cooling fan, heat sink, thermo electronic modules etc, of it. This study, at first, shows design/manufacturing process of the cooling system and the setting process of control factors to control through experimentation. Next, after constructing the complete console, 46 inch LCD Panel and the cooling system are built in, the performance test of it is shown through experimentation.

The Study of Service Quality Model in O2O(Online-to-Offline) Context (O2O(Online-to-Offline) 환경에서의 서비스 품질요인 탐색에 관한 연구)

  • In O2O environment(Online-to-Offline), providers attract new customers via web sites and lead them to pay online, then induce them again to offline when receiving products. Thus, online and offline channel is integrated and create synergy for marketing in O2O context. As online and offline channel coexist in O2O, consumers' perceptions for products and services that providers offer cannot help being different compared to an independent channel (i.e., either online or offline). Therefore, this research aims to develop the O2O service quality model(O2O-SQ model). Especially, O2O is the unique environment where offline, online, and mobile commerce are integrated so that the current paper suggests the $1^{st}$ O2O-SQ model by integrating the common factors of offline, online, and mobile service quality model through the previous literature review. Hence, this study conducts FGI(Focus Group Interview) for customers who have experienced in purchasing products in O2O commerce. Among integrated common service quality factors of $1^{st}$ O2O-SQ model, the current paper identifies the specific service quality factors that customers perceive significantly through FGI analysis. Moreover, after extracting the unique O2O-SQ factors with this qualitative analysis and integrating with the $1^{st}$ O2O-SQ model, the paper develops the final O2O-SQ model.

  • In this age, where the social environment is changing rapidly and unpredictably, interest in safety from crime is increasing in Korean society. As the desire to live a life free from the fear of crime increases, interest in the construction of safe cities is also rising nationwide. To meet the national demand, the Korean government is promoting a project to link public disaster safety systems by involving municipalities, 112, 119, and other emergency services and institutions through the Smart City Integrated Platform in order to construct a smart safety net. This study investigates the linking of theSmart City Integrated Platform and theIntelligent Security Project. The results are as follows. 1. The linkage's objective is clear. 2. The system sector can provide information to accident-related organizations. 3. The scenario area can be expanded to a crime-prevention sector, and a long-term urban information integration infrastructure can be created. 4. Product testing is enabled by a smart city road map and through continuous consultation with relevant organizations. 5. Project diffusion to other local governments can be promoted with the continued addition of commercial products.

  • System engineering is critical in today's industry and requirements engineering is an important stage of overall process. Requirements Engineering is the initial step of system development activity in which the requirements from the customer are elicited and documented. This activity is very much vital for the success of the project because all of activities depends upon requirements engineering such as designing, implementation, testing, operation and maintenance. The development process begins by clarifying the need and then articulating the need as a high level solution. In order to minimize the poor requirements and to sure successful projects, Object-Oriented requirements engineering was proposed. Object-Oriented requirements engineering is an approach to encapsulating information about the process and product, as well as functionality in to a requirements object. This paper proposes using the concept of an Operations Concept Harbinger(OCH) that is the prototype of Object-Oriented requirements engineering to develop the requirements with consolidating simultaneously the opinions of various stakeholder in the customer level and trace accurately the transition from User needs to requirements. Then the customer can secure the accurate requirements to meet their needs and traceability from user needs to requirements.

  • It is possible to fabricate a three-dimensional (3D) shape using the solid freeform fabrication (SFF) technology. However, there are several problems in applying conventional SFF technologies to the direct manufacturing of a product. Hence, multimaterial SFF is gaining attention. Moreover, a 3D circuit device that is different from a conventional two-dimensional PCB can also be fabricated using multimaterial SFF. In this study, a hybrid system using fused deposition modeling and direct writing was designed for 3D circuit device fabrication.

  • Many companies launched convergence products that are merged with several functions. Mobile convergence has some advantages such as portable convenience, usability of use, economic advantage that takes parts of the common component among products in the aspects of the digital products. Even though a plenty of items launched by convergence boom in the market, not tons of convergence products succeeded in the market because One of the major reasons is that companies don't take consumer evaluations in the process of the product development. It is important to set up infrastructure and excellent quality of the products for lasting the lifecycle of the convergence items. But, above all, it is imperative to find out how consumers evaluate convergence products and what they are affected to meet their satisfaction. Nevertheless, there are few case studies about consumer evaluations in mobile convergence until now. This study is to find out how consumers evaluate convergence products and what is the factor. This study surveyed 158 subjects and used multi-regression analysis and ANOVA(analysis of variance). The results of this study show that factors such as relative advantages, complexity, observability, perceived convenience affect the attitude of consumers.

Suggestion of Product Planning Process for Small and Medium Sized Design Company : Focused on the Case of Baby Bathtub Design Concept Development (중소 디자인 기업을 위한 제품 기획 프로세스 제안 : 유아욕조 디자인 콘셉트 개발 사례를 중심으로)

  • A number of small and medium design companies in Korea are making efforts to develop distinguished products with an aim to survive and prosper. However, it is quite difficult to succeed due to insufficient experience in product planning and the challenges in applying known methodologies, which are based on a large amount of data presented as best practices in designing process, in the actual small and medium enterprise operations. To this end, this study suggested the usefulness of the user participation process as the methodology for small and medium design companies and chose the user FGD method implemented by Company P which is a small design company as an empirical case study. The following are the processes used in the case study; First, the problems of existing baby bath were derived through user FGD. Second, opinions were collected from various classes of users through in-depth interviews. Third, the ideas derived were analyzed with the KJ method and grouped based on similar elements, through which six design directions and detailed design concepts covering size, material, safety, purchase factors of existing product, direction of improvement, additional elements were derived. Through the case study, this study verified that the FGD method of Company P could improve the practical verification, integration and promptness of the product planning process in small and medium enterprises. This is valuable as a realistic process that small and medium enterprises with limited capital and manpower may adopt.
