The Study on The Production Testing Equipment for the Improvement of System Test Reliability in FCS (사격통제장치 시스템 시험의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 생산시험장비에 관한 연구)

  • This study described the design scheme for each step of the production test for the Fire Control System(FCS) of the K-55A1 PIP business of Hanwha Thales since 2011. From the time of receipt of the product It is necessary to improve the FCS's reliability by using the Unit Test, burn-In test, System Test. FCS of K-55A1 acts as a 'head' that control the self-propelled howitzer, and connected with the electrical and physical connection of self-propelled howitzer's multiple unit (Inertial navigation systems(IN), Muzzle Velocity Radar (MVR)) for the normal operation without an inch of error in operating. We designed the production testing equipment automatically as much as possible and designed with the environment similar to the self-propelled howitzer. by using this production testing equipment, It should help for the strengthen national defense of the Republic of Korea.

  • The most of military systems that developed today are composed with many sub-systems for mission execution. The test of military systems for delivery test of mass product such that part test, PCB test, component test, integration test. Improving productivity is minimize testing item by man and minimize kind of tester, so that decrease product cost by production time for test. PCB tester be developed many kind of test method that systems were developed by many different engineers. This article studies testing check point for testing that how to minimize of kind of tester, how to automatic test for all of function that have inputs and outputs. Development of tester for improving productivity requires classify functional allocation of main system and sub system, sub system require PCB for functional allocation start on preliminary design period for reducing testing item and testing fixture.

  • 우주발사체 검사장비는 umbilical 신호를 기준으로 발사체 내부 analog input/output, discrete input/output, 외부 전원 공급 각 제어기의 RS-422 인터페이스 구현 및 제어를 통해 우주 발사체의 기능을 통합 검사하는 것을 주 목적으로 하며 우주 발사체에 탑재되는 전기/전자시스템의 개발시험 이후 시스템 레벨에서의 통합 기능시험을 수행하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 우주발사체에 적용될 검사장비의 설계 및 적용 방안에 대해 기술할 것이다.

  • In this paper, we present a development of an Avionics Hot Bench(AHB) used for the verification of operational flight programs and fault analysis using various simulation and stimulation software. We propose an application of the open system architecture to develop the AHB which can be used for the development of a real aircraft avionics system. In the design of the AHB, to reduce the development period and cost we use as many as commercial off-the-shelf hardware and software items. The developed AHB is compared with the existing proven AHB which was used for T-50 avionics system development. Thorough comparison between the test results using the developed AHB and those using the existing AHB is performed and the overall comparison results are very satisfactory.

  • Korea augmentation satellite system (KASS) integration, verification, qualification (IVQ) activity is verification of requirements for KASS system and its sub-system that were performed based on the inspection, analysis, review of design, test (IART) method from factory acceptance test (FAT) to test readiness review (TRR) after critical design review (CDR) was closed. In the FAT phase, developed equipment was installed on the test platform and we were verified interfaces between sub-systems and coupling test with the kass control station (KCS). In the site aceeptance test (SAT) phase, on-site verification was conducted by installing equipment verified by FAT such as kass reference station (KRS), kass processing station (KPS), kass uplink station (KUS), KCS. However, considering the developed plan and status, SAT was divided into 3 phases and coupling test was performed. In the TRR phase, the KASS system verification was performed through FAT's test list and additional test list using the satellite based augmentation system (SBAS) broadcast signal from geostationary earth orbit (GEO) 1.

  • 내장형 소프트웨어는 매우 다양한 내장형 시스템에 적용되며, 또한 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 인터페이스 부분과 통합 과정에서 않은 결함이 발생한다 그러므로 내장형 소프트웨어가 적용되는 분야를 구분하고 적용 분야에 따른 단위 시험과 통합 시험을 구분하여 품질 특성을 적용한 시험이 이루어져야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 내장형 소프트웨어의 적용 분야(제어, 가전, 단말, 통신장비와 시험 단계(단위 시험, 통합 시험)를 고려한 ISO/IEC 9126의 품질 특성을 적용하였다. 이를 통해 각 적용 분야에서 시험 단계에 따라 중점적으로 고려해야 할 품질 특성들을 알 수 있으며, 또한 적용 분야별로 다른 분야에 비해 더 고려되는 품질 특성들도 알 수 있다.

  • Mission Equipment Package(MEP) system is a collection of avionic components that are integrated to perform the mission of the Korean Utility Helicopter(KUH). Built In Test(BIT) reduces the need for skilled personnel and special test equipment, and reduces maintenance down-time of system. The increasing complexity of avionics equipments has resulted in an increased need to provide BIT functions. This paper describe the development and verification for the KUH MEP system BIT.

  • Integrated data processing for display of flight critical data and mission critical data was conducted without additional display instruments using glass cockpit design. Based on a pre-designed flight critical system and a mission critical system, this paper shows an optimal design of subsystem integration. The design satisfies safety requirements of flight control systems(FCS) and requires minimized modification of pre-designed systems. By conducting integration test using System Integration laboratory(SIL), it is confirmed that the introduced design approach meets the safety requirements of the MEP system.

  • The performance test methodology for switch, router or integrated networks that make up the wired network is not clearly defined. Due to smart phones and multimedia traffic, the speed of the network is rapidly increasing to 100Gbps. However, there is no formalized test method, and performance test related parts are still being tested based on old data. Telecommunication companies and companies are testing their requirements in their own BMT, and government or public institutions are requesting performance tests from external organizations. As the demand for the performance test of next generation network equipments and the integrated network increases, analysis of the performance test method should be done as soon as possible. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the performance test method performed by the institute and propose guidelines that can be applied to all wired network equipment.
