A Study of Performance Improvement of CFCS SW Using HPC (HPC를 활용한 지휘무장통제체계 SW 성능향상 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 지휘무장통제체계(이하 CFCS) 소프트웨어의 성능 향상 기법으로 고성능 컴퓨팅(이하 HPC) 시스템 활용 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법으로 본 논문에서는 HPC 분야인 멀티코어 프로세서를 활용하는 방법을 제안한다. 복잡한 반복연산을 하는 작업이 많은 CFCS의 특정 SW모듈에 대해 멀티코어 프로세싱 아키텍처를 이용한 병렬처리를 적용하여 기존 순차처리 대비 작업실행시간을 단축함으로써 작업 응답시간을 상당히 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 CFCS 시험 환경의 일부 특정 SW모듈 상에서 기존의 순차처리 방식으로 수행한 연산 결과와 다중 처리 프로그래밍 API인 OpenMP를 적용하여 수행한 연산 결과를 비교하여 CFCS에서의 멀티코어 프로세싱이 체계 전반의 성능 향상 면에서 효율적으로 사용될 수 있음을 보인다.

In this paper, we analyze access control mechanism using attribute certificated and we propose new access mechanism in distributed system using attribute certificates.

  • In this paper, a command and control (C2) system development using a network emulator is treated. Due to the development of information and communication technologies enabling reinforcement of information exchange and computational capability, an operational concept network centric warfare (NCW) was introduced. In here, it summarizes a developmental test environment build based on dummynet, one of the software based network emulator, and an operational concept of target command and control system. Moreover, I explain command and control system developmental test cases and results, and suggest an operational concept to overcome limitations of target communication system. I expect this concept will reduce data traffic of proposed C2 system especially plot messages which is distributed same data with short interval.

  • This study was conducted to compare the self-leadership strategies and locus of control between the problem-solving styles in the Korean engineering college students. Creative problem-solving styles were identified based on the three dimensions. The results of the two-way analysis of variances indicated the main effects of problem-solving styles; each problem-solving style had unique characteristics in relation to self-leadership strategies and locus of control. There were neither main effects of sex nor interaction effects of problem-solving styles and sex. It would be useful to provide the engineering students with the specialized self-leadership training program based on the problem-solving styles.

  • This paper presents a development of a fire control system with an intelligent judgment algorithm of hit or not. The presented algorithm analyzes an impact energy and impact signals according to impact materials. And the detected signals are used to judge the correct hit or not. Furthermore, Zigbee wireless communication technology is applied in the developed fire control system. The wireless communication technology can supply a simple installation of the practical system and free from ageing of communication wire. The presented system is verified in the practical fire test, and the results show the effectiveness of the development system.

  • Present study was investigated to measure the influence of expectancy on emotional information processing. For inducing an expectancy for emotional stimulus, participants conducted three same blocks in which negative face was presented for prime in 75% of total trials(Group1) or three same blocks in which positive face was presented in 75% of total trials(Group2). We compared the means of RTs of two blocks conducted after and before these induction blocks. Results exhibited that participants in Group 1 allocated more attention after expectancy induction. This indicate that in normal population, the top-down processing like expectancy can influence emotional processing pattern related to negative information.

When accident for small ship at sea happens, It's very important to communicate continuously for preventing the collision and taking action. Therefore in this paper We present TRS communication system applied for small fishing ship to protect the safety and life at sea and to prepare for emmergency, and also validate it's application.

  • CAN communication developed for communication between electric control devices in vehicle, was recently applied to automatic breaking devices, and can also be applied to field bus for production automation. Recently, field bus is introduced in engine control etc., for large ship. In this paper, cabin access control system is implemented, based on CAN communication. The cabin access control system based on CAN communication consists of access control server, embedded system based on ARM9, and micro-controller built-in CAN controller. The access control server can be able to manage overall access control system by accessing with manager. And embedded system adopted ARM9 processor transmits access information of RFID reader controller connected with CAN networks to server, also performs access control. The embedded system carry CAN frames to server, so it is used as gateway.

  • 우주발사체 추적용 지상국비행종단지령장비는 위성발사체 발사 후 비행 중 일어날 수 있는 비상사태(비행안전영역을 벗어나거나 지상에서 더 이상 추적이 불가능할 경우)에 대하여 지상통제장치에서 비행종단을 명령하여 비행을 강제로 종단시키는 역할을 한다. 일반적으로 발사체에 비행종단을 명령하는 방식은 발사체의 종류 및 운용개념에 따라 다르게 적용되며, 가청주파수 대역의 톤 신호를 조합하는 IRIG 표준 톤 방식과 Secure 방식, 또한 잡음 및 보안특성에 강한 암호화 코드화 방식이 사용되고 있다. 본 글에서는 비행종단명령에 사용되는 다양한 전송방식 및 적용 사례를 살펴보고 세계 각국 및 국내 나로우주센터(고흥)에서 설치 운용 중인 지상국비행종단지령장비에 대한 운용개념 및 주요특성을 살펴보도록 한다.
