The Effect of Adhocracy Culture on Job Satisfaction : The Moderating Effect of Locus of Control Focusing on Mongolia Enterprises (혁신지향문화가 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 몽골기업을 대상으로 한 통제소재의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction and to explore the moderating effect of locus of control. The study examined adhocracy culture among organizational cultures and divided into internals and externals for moderating effect of locus of control. The data analysis was used to SAS Ver 9.4 and PLS Ver 3.0. The test was conducted by 283 employees working at large, small-medium company and public enterprise in Mongolia. The results indicate that the positive adhocracy culture and job satisfaction were statistically supported. And this study found that internals moderating roles in the relationship between adhocracy culture and job satisfaction. Based on the findings of this study, the study presented managerial implications and suggestions for future studies.

  • 역할기반 접근통제(RBAC)는 사용자의 역할에 기반을 둔 접근통제 방법으로 Ravi S. Sandhu가 제안한 기본 모델 이후로 다양한 모델들이 제안되어졌다. 하지만, 이 모델들은 다중 응용 환경에 적합한 통합접근통제 시스템 설계에 실제 적용하기 위해서는 보완되어야 할점이 많다. 본 논문에서는 이 모델들의 주요 구성요소를 근간으로 하여 그룹-역할기반접근통제 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 시스템은 사용자와 역할지정에 그룹 계층을 사용하고, 조직내의 직위와 직능을 바탕으로 역할 계층을 만들며, 만들어진 역할 계층을 통한 허가의 상속을 허용한다. 또한, 시스템이 가진 접근통제 데이터베이스를 세가지 부분으로 나누어 관리하게 함으로써, 조직의 접근통제 정책의 투명성을 보장한다.

  • Aim: This study examined the correlation study of spiritual well-being, self-control, organizational commitment for the prevention of suicidal attempts by Korean soldiers. Methods: This study was non-experimental survey research design through a questionnaire containing 3 categories, spiritual well-being, self-control, organizational commitment with 599 subjects in the military in Korea. The data collected from the 1st to 28th of December, 2013, analyzed t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient using the SPSS 18.0 program. Results: Spiritual well-being and self-control have a positive correlation with organizational commitment on object. Conclusion: To increase the organizational commitment of soldiers in the military, the importance of the spiritual well-being should be recognized as a health problem. In addition, it is also important to develop an educational program for achieving spiritual well-being, self-control on soldiers. This should make a healthier life for soldiers and contribute to society.

The Effect of CEO'S Characteristics, Management Control on Organization Performance (CEO특성, 경영통제가 재무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • In order to improve organization performance by CEO's leadership, the control systems have to be designed in accordance with CEO's strategic orientation. A management control systems (MCS) is a system which gathers and uses information to evaluate the performance of different organizational resources like human, physical, financial and also the organization as a whole considering the organizational strategies. Present study explored the effects of CEO's Characteristics and control on organization performance. So this study adopted 'Risk-taking tendency', 'Achievement motivation' during psychological characteristics of CEO. For the control variable of this study, 'behavior control' and 'result control' were adopted. And for the variable of performance, financial performance was selected. As result of the study, Behavior control affects financial performance highly than result control. Through additional studies conducted during the same period, there is a significant indirect effect of achievement motivation and behavior control.

  • A controlled group is closed compared to other organizations, which hinders collection of data and accurate analysis, so that it is hard to evaluate a controlled group's power structure and predict future changes using usual analytical methods including sociological approach. Analyzing a controlled group using SNA can allow for evaluation of inner power structure by revealing the relationships between members and identifying members with central roles given limited data. In this study, in order to evaluate changes in power structure, time-sequential SNA research was conducted by analyzing eigenvector centrality, which reflects individual influence and reveals the overall power structure. The result showed an improvement in accuracy compared to other centralities that contain individual degree or closeness, and made it possible to presume structural changes such as promotion or purge of a member.

  • 성인 조직범죄집단은 조직유지와 활발한 조직활동을 위해 청소년 비행집단의 구성원을 포섭하려한다. 그리고 청소년 비행집단의 구성원은 다양한 이유로 인하여 조직범죄집단에 유입된다. 이는 당해 비행청소년은 물론 그 주변의 청소년들에게도 악영향을 미친다. 이러한 양 집단 간의 연계를 통한 유입현상을 통제하기 위하여 우선 청소년을 대상으로 비행행위에 대한 예방목적의 프로그램 활용은 물론 보다 효과적인 제도의 운용을 위한 구체적 논의가 필요하다. 이에 대해 청소년들이 활동하고 서로를 접하는 공간인 학교와 지역사회에서의 통제는 필수적이며 이러한 이유로 경찰과의 협력을 통한 예방활동에 주목할 필요가 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the expanded role of authority files, which uses the Knowledge Organization System(KOS) to organize contents and manage the collections in digital libraries. The KOS plays a role as a bridge between the users' information needs and materials by providing links between catalogs and digital resources on the web and supporting retrieval of the relevant items. It is described how a KOS can be used to link a digital resource to related materials, to provide more descriptive records for entities, and access to relevant physical objects.

  • CSA(Control Self Assessment) is a new internal control technique whose objective is to control the human resource performance, the manager's philosophy, the business ethics, the effective communication and decision making etc. The purpose of this study is to find out if the CSA improve the quality of internal control. With the questionnaire method the following conclusions are reached. 1) Level of the management supports influence the level of the workshop participation. 2) Anonymity during the workshop session influences the level of workshop participation. 3) Level of the organizational committment influences the level of the participation 4) The level of workshop performance significantly influences the level of internal contro improvement.

The Relationships between Control Systems, Reactions, and Performances of Customer-Contact Service Employees (서비스 판매요원의 통제, 반응 그리고 성과의 관계)

  • Only service organizations providing service quality above customers' anticipations have survived and developed in hyper competitive environment. These organizations are more dependent on their customer-contact service employees than those providing tangible products, because of the characteristics of service, intangibility, inseparability, heterogeneity, and perishability. But few researches focused on the efficient managements or controls of service organizations in this context. Therefore, author aimed at understanding of the determinants of service organizations' control system(i.e., characteristics of service), service employees' reaction on control types(i.e., service employees' role stress), and their performance(perceived service quality by customers). First the concepts of service quality and control systems are described. Specially, author explained the differences between service quality and service satisfaction or service attitude, and the control system types and their fundamental ideologies. Second, some propositions are provided according to integrated framework developed in this paper: (1)control types according to the characteristics of service, (2)influences of control systems on employees' reactions and (3)perceives service quality by the customers, and (4)relationships between the reactions and the service quality. This paper concludes with a summary, a discussion of theoretical and managerial implications, and several suggestions for future directions.

The Study on the Control Combinations in IS Outsourcing Project Management (IS 아웃소싱 프로젝트 관리를 위한 조합적 통제유형에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 아웃소싱 상황에서 정보시스템 개발프로젝트의 관리에 대한 이해를 목적으로, 시스템개발 프로젝트에 대한 관리를 통제(control) 또는 조정(coordination)의 관점에서 보는 기존의 연구 흐름과 같은 선상에서, IS 아웃소싱 프로젝트 관리의 문제를 조직간 통제관점에서 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 다음의 두 가지 측면에서, 기존 연구의 확장을 시도하였다. 첫번째, 조직내부의 시스템 개발프로젝트 관리의 연구결과를 아웃소싱 상황으로 확장하여 적용하였다. 두번째, 기존 연구들이 개별 통제유형에 주목하였으나, 현실적으로는 다양한 통제유형이 동시에 존재하기 때문에, 조합적 측면에 초점을 맞추어 확장하였다. 이를 위하여 공식적 통제와 비공식적 통제를 두 가지 기준을 사용하여, 네 가지의 통제조합에 대한 이론적 유형(typology) - 역동적, 계약중심, 파트너쉽중심, 수동적 유형 - 제시하여, 35개 기업의 66개 프로젝트를 통하여 실증적으로 검증하였다. 연구결과는 파트너쉽중심 유형을 제외하고는 이론적 유형과 유사한 네 가지의 통제조합에 대한 실증적 유형(taxonomy) - 역동적, 계약중심, 중간형, 수동적 유형-이 도출되었다. 각 실증적 유형간의 차이는 역동적 유형과 계약중심 유형이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 중간형 유형과 수동적 유형의 성과가 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
