A Study on Hybrid Track Circuit Tag Recognition Enhancement (하이브리드 궤도회로 태그 인식율 향상에 관한 연구)

  • Track circuit is a simple electrical device which lies in the connection of the two rails by the wheels and axle of locomotives and rolling stock to short out an electrical circuit, used to detect the absence of a train on rail tracks. In railway signaling system, there are similar systems such as RFID and wheel sensor, GPS etc, are research and developing. Hybrid track circuit is using RFID antenna and reader on the cab and RFID tag on the sleeper. because of the safety in railway operation, tag detection of train position detection function in the hybrid track circuit needs high reliability. This paper studied tag recognition enhancement used tag angles.

  • In order to prevent loss of communication packets and drop of transmission speed owing to the network fault occurrence, it should be considered network redundancy. That is why a messages of IED GOOSE is the critical signal in charge of protection and control of the substation. So most of users implement the substation automation system with Hybrid network topology ant IED supporting double ethernet ports. Because IEC 61850 GOOSE conformance test is limited in the functional test, this paper suggests how to test the performance of IED GOOSE transmission considering Network redundancy, and describes the analysis of an example test on real IEDs and how to impact the IED GOOSE performance to the substation automation system.

  • This paper presents effective Load Balancing Algorithm by exampling EvtProc Daemon controlling the Event handling among the W/S Daemon which manages and controls Digital Cross Connect Systems. In this paper, when a lot of event occur, charging process waits regular times instead of executing consecutive exec process. so, We can reduce overheads of fork and exec process. another method of reducing the overheads is it that waiting process handles consecutives events of Op Code. And We also presents effective and stable management scheme of event handling , for the generation of event handling Child process by charging the Load Balancing to the main child process

  • Generally, to operate the IT devices, a user should exploit his eye and hand. It is so difficult for the most disabled user with the limited vision or hand to manipulate a personal computer and to buy devices assisting the manipulation due to the expensive price. In this paper, we propose the voice system manipulating the personal computer using the Amazon echo. The proposed system controls the mouse of the personal computer and activates functions of the personal computer using the skill stored in the Amazon web service.

  • To verify the function of vehicle is becoming more and more difficult because many electronic control units have been embedded in vehicle with development of electronics industry. The reliability of vehicle should be considered above all important because malfunction of vehicle can cause damage of human life. In this paper, defect diagnosis platform based on CAN network is proposed to improve the reliability of vehicle. Reliability of vehicle is significantly increased by adopting the structural test via dedicated test path after manufacturing. Besides, the test cost is reduced because additional test pins are not required.

  • Recently, from 2008 to 2012, there are many of elevator safety patents from patent office survey. In this paper, we analyzed the elevator safety patent from 2009 to 2013, found out safety factor is safety control, emergency stop equipment and door opening equipment. Through reliability statistics, we defined the most important things for safety elevator factor is this three things, studied the reason about many patents. Finally, we propose the Kinect Scada elevator system for prevention safety accident.

  • In this paper, CE-CPSK(Constant Envelope Continuous Phase Shift Keying) modulated DS/SS(Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) transceiver with 908 MHz carrier frequency and 1.5 MHz PN clock rate is proposed. To overcome the effect of nun-linear power amplifier, CE-CPSK modulation method which has the constant envelope and continuous phase characteristics is proposed. To analyze the DS/SS receiver performance with respect to code tracking loop, multipath fading channel is characterized as a two-ray Rayleigh fading channel. To compensate the demerit of analog delay locked loop, digital delay locked loop is employed for code tracking loop. Simulation and experimental examination has been carried out in AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) and Rayleigh fading channel environment in order to prove validity of the proposed method.

  • Recently, CAN network technology and MOST network are introduced in vehicle to control many electronic devices and to provide entertainment service. Many interconnected devices operate in MOST network which has ring topology such as CD-ROM(DVD), AMP, VIDEO CAMERA, VIDEO DISPLAY, GPS NAVIGATION and so on. In this paper, The input image of CAMERA in the MOST network is used for determining the movement direction of vehicle. Even though the position information was received from GPS, it is difficult to directly determine the direction of moving vehicle in certain areas such as the parallel road structure. This paper designs and implements the method to determine vehicle's direction by real-time matching between CAMERA image and object image base on image DB.

  • In order to cope with safety issues regarding fisher vessels, a device is required with the real-time monitoring for the safety and risk factors for a capability of informing and alerting function. In embedded modules, there is a trouble that we should design device drivers and application programs for usage of the multi-function sensors in order to detect risk factors. In this paper, we designed hardware circuit and implemented control program of the sensor part using PIC18F, in order to control and process the input and output data of multi-function sensors without device drivers and application programs. We confirmed the operation of multi-function sensor module to generate output data according to sensor operation.

  • Audio mixer is an electronic device which performs a mixing of multiple audio signals. Digital mixer having various functions and scalability is spreaded thanks to advanced DSP and IT technology. However, digital mixer is more vulnerable to stability comparing to conventional analog mixer in the digital error or software error sense because its control is executed by SW. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a multi-channel digital analog hybrid mixer scheme, digital mixer error detection mechanism and malfunctioning switching technique. Also we develop the audio mixer having digital-analog hybrid structure. By simulation, we can sense the error of digital mixer except power loss in a 120ms, change into analog mixer mode automatically and provide continuous broadcasting function without mixer function loss.
