  • An actuator system is a type of motor designed to control a mechanism operated by a source of energy, in the form of an electric current by converting energy into some kind of motion. As audio actuators, transforming electric voltage signal into audio signal, speakers and amplifiers are commonly used. In applications of industry, high output power systems are required. For these systems to generate high-quality output, it is essential to control output impedance of audio systems. We have developed an adaptable power supply for driving active amplifier systems with variable loads. Depending on the changing values of resistance of the speaker which produces audible sound by transforming electric voltage signal, the power supply source of the active amplifier can generate the maximum power delivered to the speaker by an adaptable change of loads. The amplifier is well protected from the abrupt increment of peak current and an excess of current flow.

  • Nowadays, the majority of the manufacturing plant equipment tend to be transformed with automation system than traditional manual equipment. Production manager to make the process decision-making, not accustomed to manage and take advantage of professional decision-making technique. So rather than using the system proposed, it is common to undergo sporadic measures through the external intermediary. In this paper, whether possible delivery to match the delivery through the issue and decision-making system of the data input to be generated in the manufacturing process, review the supply information of the material used in the process, a plurality of input / output device We have proposed an input module that utilizes the Android Application and ATmega2560. As a result, easily cope with the improvement and change of process information of the work efficiency of the production business of the manufacturing process, and reduced plant data missing tasks, and management improvement to the improvement of the delivery compliance and product satisfaction by improving productivity we try to contribute to.

  • Recently embedded system developed a lot. Physically, embedded systems range from portable devices such as digital watches and MP3 players, to large stationary installations like traffic lights, factory controllers, or the systems controlling nuclear power plants. This paper focuses on implementation of portable device which is applicable to the child-kidnap or missing child prevention system in residential area or public area. To be specific, this device is to transmit video data which comes from the camera in the device into the host PC via WLAN. Embedded hardware platform consists of s3c2440 with ARM9 core, WindowsCE OS and other sensors. OS enables the platform to do multitasking jobs which are handling GPS data, taking video, capturing audio via microphone in the device and transfer all kind of realtime data to the host PC.

A MaxMin Model for the Worst Case Performance Evaluation of GS Coding for DC-free Modulation (DC-억압 변조를 위한 GS 코딩의 최악 성능 평가 MaxMin 모형)

  • For effective DC-free coding in the optical storage systems, the Guided Scrambling algorithm is widely used. To reduce digital discrepancy of the coded sequence, functions of digital sum value (DSV) are used as criteria to choose the best candidate. Among these criteria, the minimum digital sum value (MDSV), minium squared weight (MSW), and minimum threshold overrun (MTO) are popular methods for effective DC-suppression. In this paper, we formulate integer programming models that are equivalent to MDSV, MSW, and MTO GS coding. Incorporating the MDSV integer programming model in MaxMin setting, we develop an integer programming model that computes the worst case MDSV bound given scrambling polynomial and control bit size. In the simulation, we compared the worst case MDSV bound for different scrambling polynomial and control bit sizes. We find that careful selection of scrambling polynomial and control bit size are important factor to guarantee the worst case MDSV performance.

  • In this paper, we describe a design and implementation method of a smart card operating system for multi applications. A smart card is the independent computing system and is able to be used in multi applications such as the electronic commerce and the electronic cash. Smart card operation system(SCOS) provides a basis of smart card booting, and controls and manages application programs. SCOS can produce and control a file system to support multi applications in EEPROM, communicate commands and messages with outside devices, process a command, produce a reply message, and provide security functions of file security in EEPROM, and communication security. Therefor, in this paper, we design and implement SCOS system that provides the authentication between a card and a terminal, the session authentication for multi applications, the processing of commands, and the maintenance of the security.

A Study on the Synchronization Methodology for Grid-connection of Three Phase Inverter (3상 인버터의 계통 연계를 위한 동기화 방법론에 대한 연구)

  • For the power grid-connection of distributed generation, the output voltage of the distributed generation must be synchronized with the grid voltage before the grid-connection. In this paper, a vector control based synchronization algorithm was developed for grid linkage of three-phase inverters. A three-phase voltage inverter was designed and fabricated to verify the effectiveness of the developed algorithm. The main controller of the three-phase inverter was developed based on DSP, and the electrical level of the system was set to an electrical level that can be tested in the laboratory. Throughout the experiments, it was confirmed that the proposed algorithm could be used as a synchronization algorithm for grid-connection by showing that the output voltage of the three-phase inverter is synchronized with the grid voltage.

  • Recently, there is an increasing need for highly precise processing with the rapid development of precision machinery, electrical and electronics, and semiconductor industries. Cutting machine control relies on the operator's sense and experience in tradition, but it has been greatly enhanced by the adoption of CNC(Computerized Numeric Controller). In addition, cutting dynamics technology has been paid attention to reflect the operating state of machine in real time. This paper presents a method to detect and stabilize tool vibration by attaching an acoustic sensor to a CNC machine. The sensed acoustic data is synchronized with the tool position and the abnormal vibration frequency is separated from the collected acoustic frequency, then analyzed to detect the tool vibration. Also the reliability the tool vibration detection and stabilization is improved by applying the cutting dynamic method. The proposed method is analyzed and evaluated in terms of the surface roughness.

Energy saving control system of wireless base station utilizing natural air-conditioning (자연공조를 활용한 무선기지국 Energy절감 제어시스템)

  • With the development of the information communication industry, the size of the communication device has been reduced to a system that generates a large amount of heat. Therefore, since the amount of heat generated by the wireless equipment is large in the wireless base station, the energy consumption is continuously consumed and the failure of the wireless base station may occur. Therefore, in this study, The study was analyzed. As a research method, we performed base station with a lot of calorific value and electric charge. We selected 25 base stations and obtained data for two weeks. To ensure reliability, the room temperature was kept constant at $27^{\circ}C$, and the control system was installed and equiped for two weeks to obtain the date analysis. In order to calculate the test results in the study method, the instrument was used with a computer, a digital thermometer, and dust measurement. For the date analysis, we conducted a research study on 25 wireless basestations before and after the installation of Control Sysetm.

  • Modern agriculture is changing from resource-oriented agriculture to technology-oriented agriculture. Agriculture, which combines science and technology, is recognized as a new growth engine, and governments, local governments, research institutes, and industry are working together to develop and disseminate various devices necessary for smart farms to build intelligent smart farms. Recently, research is being conducted to build a more intelligent agricultural environment by building a cloud platform. In this paper, we propose a plan to build an urban energy - independent smart farm that can utilize leisure time and agricultural activities by utilizing the rooftop of a city. Also, by using IT technology, various data of smart farm can be managed on remote server, and HMI module for controlling internal environment of smart farm can be developed to manage smart farm automatically or semi-automatically. The service model suggests a model that can manage the internal environment of the smart farm based on mobile.

Reinforcement Learning Based Energy Control Method for Smart Energy Buildings Integrated with V2G Station (강화학습 기반 V2G Station 연계형 스마트 에너지 빌딩 전력 제어 기법)

  • Energy consumption is steadily increasing, and buildings in particular account for more than 20% of the total energy consumption around the world. As an effort to cost-effectively manage the energy consumption of buildings, many research groups have recently focused on Smart Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), which are deepening the research depth by applying artificial intelligence(AI). In this paper, we propose a reinforcement learning-based energy control method for smart energy buildings integrated with V2G station, which aims to reduce the total energy cost of the building. The results of performance evaluation based on the energy consumption data measured in the real-world building shows that the proposed method can gradually reduce the total energy costs of the building as the learning process progresses.
